Great to be in close proximity to an Apple Store here in Ventura County. Today Employee Ron, assisted me with my frozen iPhone. He was straight to the point, very helpful with my issue and gave excellent service. Glad to know Apple Employees are fast and knowledgeable with device concerns, do it with kindness, and are a big relief to issues that can be worrisome and a scare to the wallet. I’m grateful again to be helped free of charge and happy to have control of my phone again for productivity. Thank You Ron, and Thank You Apple Store Thousand Oaks. ❤️🙏🏼☺️🤙🏼🇺🇸

I dont really know, because I was buying a gift and Im not in the Apple cult, but it seems to me that they have the full complement of Apple products one might want to see. I was just picking up an online order. Apparently, they dont assemble your order in advance even though I had an appointment. I had to wait while someone in the back gathering my order items.

Entitled/Lazy? Either way consistently terrible customer service. Getting out- oriented mentality. This is the third or fourth time Ive come to the store to buy something, probably the fifth or sixth time to get help +/- buy (last 2-3 yrs). The store never has time to help you. ive been with Apple since the very beginning, and Ive never run into something like this... the cool, funky of Apple is long gone and people are needing to get home to their glasses of Merlot, cat and TV.Ive started using other locations but dont always have time to drive out of town. I have an unusual schedule which is not predictable and I cannot schedule a Genius Bar appointment simply to *buy a new iphone*!! [and I dont think that is necessary to buy something from the store ... Yes, I made it very clear that I was here to buy an iPhone] Isnt that what you are here for, to sell things? Maybe even HELP your customers?? ) I simply wanted to buy an iPhone, the model of which *I* know (but they do not). ive driven to the mall with my tight schedule arriving at the store and I walked into the store 21 min before closing. Instead of being met by a helpful (let alone pleasant😄) sales person, I am met by Ame (maybe rest of her name was scratched off her badge)... somewhat perturbed, sounding annoyed that I have a showed up Ame asks me *what I want*? I tell her that I would just like to buy an iPhone. She tells me that its 19 minutes before closing (been standing there for a few minutes already) and they are having THE only two last associated selling [last?!] phones. Isnt just simply making a sale, the easiest thing in the world to do with Apple? There are 8 emplyees stand around.Apple have you become too big for your britches or is this just a problem with the Apple store at the struggling Oaks mall??Im Going to Santa Monica or Simi next time.Entitled/Lazy? Yes. I sat on a lovely couch here at the Oaks. I waited 15 minutes --(just to watch the situation unfold— yes I am being pissy and trite— sue me, Im human. Bit this same story is retold in different forms at this location over and over— Im sure Im not the only one. There are EIGHT Managers, associates, sales people etc (does the customer really care what your level of rank is?) ...standing around doing nothing for the last 30 minutes!! Yes, at 10 minutes past the hour their doors are still open with no customers!maybe back in the day when Apple first came out it was cool to be working at the Apple store... but folks those days are gone and you have to just do your work, and do it well. Try.

Great customer service! I booked an appointment the night before to repair something in my phone (piece was loose inside), was seen 10 mins early as they were running on a good schedule. Staff were very polite and professional. Eric who assisted me was able to fix my phone on the spot. He took it round the back and was back with it in 15 mins. Much faster experience than I expected - thank you!

Horrible place the Apple team members will ignored you and when you go and ask for help they will just say stand there wait! wait! wait! the manager an older white woman short blonde hair with glasses “Ame” doing nothing just walking around the store couldn’t even be bothered by me waiting over an hour she also said wait wait wait she was so rude and told me I needed to keep waiting and I was ready to pay she didn’t even care, how insulting is this when you are coming to buy their products and they treated you like third class citizen no kindness no customer service, very rude sad!!! The manager should’ve been working here, she’s getting pay to do nothing!

The Apple Store was extremely accommodating. My iPad was broken and they replaced it with a brand new one same day. It literally took less than 15 minutes and they were extremely helpful. Five stars.

All of the staff are kind of racist. I think it is because I am an asian high schooler. I had waited in near the ipad section for almost two hours, but they only tends to serve other people even they arrived later than me. I had talked to the manager and the person who’s in charge of the check in stuff, they all just told me to wait in that area. There was about 8 staffs in the store, but 6 of them are just walking around, and say that they are not sales representatives and can not help me with purchasing the ipad. My friend came with me, he wanted to trade in his ipad and the check in guy said he needs also to wait with me until someone come here to help him. So he waited too, and no one comes for nearly 40 minutes. I am so mad about this so I talk to the manager again, she again said that she is not an sales representative and can not help us. But I saw her continually coming to the ipad section and helping other customers with the ipad purchasing, and she just ignores us. The guy behind her said “if you want to make a purchase, you have to wait for a sales person to come to you, but I am only in charge of the trade in and technical”. This is not making any sense, my friend was told to wait in the ipad section for trade in and no one comes, but now he just claimed that he can help with trade in. I am so disappointed with the apple store at the oaks.

The second biggest apple store ive been to.. For me its big enough space. Lots of people when i visited but they also have enough staff to accommodate customers. I guess theres always lots of customers on daily basis. I went in there and in 5 mins waiting for available staff, she was able to help me what i needed. I also noticed that they even have tutorials for apple users on a big screen and some stools to sit in.

Traveled 15 miles to the Apple Store at the Oaks Mall to ask a rather important question .With the new iPhone software 17.3 update, there is a feature that has been discussed in various media that is a major security feature update. So I asked the question to an employee and she did not know what I was talking about, amazing, is this “new school”?She searched on her phone for an answer, and then instructed me to call the “Apple Help Line”. Well if that is the case, why do we need an Apple Store? So I left the store, then came back to ask someone else. He was extremely helpful and explained it in about 90 seconds. The bottom line here is a corporation or in this case a store, “a chain is only as strong as its weakest link”. If the late Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, was still alive and “shopping” this store, she would have been terminated her on the spot.

Can you give less than one star? They chased us out of the store when we tried to ask a question regarding a keyboard that we went to buy. They found it highly inconvenient that we asked and disrupted their day. Not one but two members of staff were rude to us. Im sure they dont care where we make our purchase but it will never ever be the thousand oaks apple store again.
