I just want to take the time and share my experience I had at the Apple Store that is in south coast plaza. From the moment I walked in I was attended to which I find wonderful. I was early for my appointment and an associate was able to change my appointment to an earlier appointment . I didn’t have to wait long at all . Ivan was the associate that helped me . Ivan was awesome he explained everything and broke it down step by step forme to understand. I will be recommending this store to all my family and friends . I give the store and IVAN A 10 thank you. !!Sincerely Valerie.

I encountered 3 young men who’ve never been taught kindness nor patience. They were arrogant, dismissive & rude. I was told I should call & I told him I tried. I guess since the store is always busy they don’t need to worry about offending people or offering a smile. The genius who accessed my computer was very nice.

I have been using apple products consistently since 2008- I just purchased another Imac and wanted to upgrade the keyboard after realizing the magic touchID one is just too small for my line of work. I went to South coast plaza, chatted with support, and was on the phone for over an hour and half just for them to tell me that I would have to pay an additional $150 for a new keyboard - and also pack up my whole computer and return it and purchase a new one. It is a keyboard -Why is this so difficult?? No one on the support phone through Sales, or customer care can help to explain why this is such a complicated situation - for a multi billion dollar company I am shocked how little flexibility they have in their processes, how little their team can help, and how much they still want you to pay- Such a waste of my time, and Im at the point of returning my MAC and going PC at this point. its a keyboard exchange - Im not asking for the moon.

I am very pleased with my experience here today, this is the third time I shop here and it was great, the only down side is the long lines outside but they do move fairly quick. You do have to make a reservation to shop around, but it is well worth it. While shopping I was not rushed nor pushed to purchase anything. I actually ended up buying more than what I intended to purchase because the service was so great.1 leather case1 silicon case2 MagSafe wallets- I will update this review as I see fit

Mark at Apple Store in Costa Mesa is terrible. This old man here only wants to sell something charge you and move on with the next person without transferring the number to your new phone or your data. Then he ignored you and makes you wait. Terrible manners and service. He’s attitude is prepotent, rude and has zero customer service skills. ZERO STAR to this old man wanna be genius that really wants to be a cashier at any store.

Seems like this company hires anybody looking for a job. Ive used this apple store for almost 5 years and yesterday they paired me with some incompetent curly haired lady which basically told me she didnt know how to fix my problemI showed back up today and a different employee basically said kick rocks its not her problem. After waiting for a long time, the representative ordered a new battery for my laptop. My second issue was that he my daughter’s new phone does not show in my phone under devices. The representative said he has no idea and I should call Apple 800 number and ask because he cannot monopolize his time more. I was taken back because this probably takes 2 minutes to show me. He left me, without even doing diagnostic on my computer before ordering the battery, I then asked to speak with the manager. He came (Asian- American) and he said I need both (old and new )phones here and since my minor child who owned the phone was not here, he could not help. I was confused since I did not link any of my phones and computers before and all were showing under my devices. Also we usually trade the old phones for a new phones. How could I bring her old phone there?I made that appointment with the Genius Bar to resolve the two issues and when you make an Appointment, it does not permit you to make an appointment for more than one device.It is a really poor customer relation to speak to a customer this way that the genuine bar representative time is more precious than the customer who made the appointment, drove to their location, and waited for an hour passed her appointment to be heard, and leave without resolving the issues whether the issue is minor or major. Very disappointed in their customer service at this Apple Store in the South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA. It is obvious their management is not doing his job.Additionally, I have a business account that got deleted twice and each time, the store re-sets the account and they did the same this third time (no one know why this happened!) and I was told that their business customer service will contact me. I have yet to receive that call.Many of the professionals care about their customers and would like satisfied customer. This branch manager did not address the lack of customer service properly. His actions and behaviors promotes more disfunction.

Most employees dont have a clue whats going on. They dont have Verizon upgrades correct either. I did it on line no problem. At least they had all the phones available so I could touch and feel.Then ordered directly from Verizon no problem.

My daughter & I went to the Apple store and werent able to go in to pick up her order even though I had an image of her ID. The rep at the line and the Manager both said that if I were to call over the phone that they would add me on as a pick up person. I called a couple times and both wait times were long wait times over the phone. After a 45 min wait time over the phone the lady explains to me that she is unable to add me as a pick up person. My daughter CANNOT access her phone due to her phone acting crazy by automatically selecting numbers without her pressing any numbers then locks her out for 1 whole hour. I explained that to them, and yet they wouldnt allow us into the line to pick up even though I have an image of her passport and ID. The Manager and rep are providing false information and have ZERO consideration with customers who are providing other means of ID.

Super busy but I liked that they told me 30 min wait time and sure thing in 30 minutes somebody came to help me buy a iPhone. That was fast, painless, professional, not pushed to buy extra insurance. I loved it… in 10 mins I was out seeing of my business.You care of your time, be listened on what you want, be served and go out without losing to much time ? Then this is your place to shop . I recommend!

They were unable to fix my problem, so they wiped my computer ... without telling me I could lose 10 years of research and work. I called them, and they passed me on to a supervisor who inferred I caused the problem, and said there was nothing more he could do. I had lost everything. Fortunately, my wife persisted and was able to find and restore my data.

This employee has the worst attitude Ive ever seen at an Apple Store, and she does not deserve this job. She didnt even greet me properly as a customer. I asked her politely if they had any of the new iPhones in stock. She refused with an attitude and didnt even bother checking in the system or answering my questions. I turned to another gentleman nearby, and he was really kind and helpful, explaining everything I needed. I hope she learns a valuable lesson because her horrible attitude is not the face which a customer like me wanna see at Apple Stores.

Warning to ALL...stay away from this store. They are incompetent and crooked people. My daughter upgraded her phone and had her data compromized during the data transfer. During the data transfer from old to new phone, her email had been tampered with; redeeming a gift card to my daughter, worth $50 from her employer. Someone in that store should be prosecuted and put in jail. Its a federal offense. Contacted the manager and he was no help. One of their associates was very disrespectful as we entered the store. My daughters mask was below her nose and he aggressively said, Cover up your nose or we can take it outside!! The store is clean. Thats about where it ends as far as positive things to say. They have an old system of your name on an iPad list and they look for you in the store while you wait. My wife and I put our name down and were told it would be a 30-40min wait. We waited for 45 min then I went to ask how much longer. A different gentleman said we were never on the list. My wife doesnt have a super common name so he probably gave up trying to spell it. To make things right they said they would bump us up on the list. After another 30 min wait we are still at the bottom of the list. Dont come here if you arent white or Asian. Im safe as an asian, but my poor Indian wife is being discriminated against again in South Coast because she is brown. I just cant believe Apple of all companies could be this horrible to loyal customers.

Waiting over 40 minutes for Genius bar appointment. The store was not overcrowded, probably genius bar was. As one of the biggest tech companies and not a car dealer, they should have done better. Should have read other reviews before coming here. They are more like a sale agent company than a tech one. At least 10 sale reps standing around and chat with each other.Their products and services have gone down hill after Steve Job, and unfortunately there is not much better alternatives out there. Both my airpods and airpods pro stopped working once the warranty expired. I don’t think I would ever want to step food into any Apple store anymore.

Every employee I have encountered at this location were so helpful, personable and very efficient. The Genius Bar staff really know what they are doing- I have worked with Matthew, Peter, Michael and Walter on separate occasions - they each took the time to listen, look into all my concerns and provide reassurance. Regardless of how busy the store is, they dedicate ample time for each customer, this goes a long way when you are concerned about managing your important data! Overall excellent customer service- patient, reassuring, efficient and knowledgeable, can’t ask for anything more. Thank you!

Went to this store because of a failed 5 day old apple watch ultra. Associate helping me basically read from a script with no care to my problem. I wanted a replacement not to have my 5 day old watch that didnt last going under water two feet (advertised up to 100m) She sluggishly went to the back to ask a supervisor but returned about 45 seconds later to say no. She could not have asked that quickly she said that if the service center finds water damage I will have to pay. I told her first of all its rated for 300 feet and advertised as a divers watch and of course it has water in it it lasted 10 mins after jumping in a swimming pool . I then told her since it was still within 14 days of purchase I wanted a refund she said we cant do that. I called apple customer care and they totally took care of me. I returned to the store at Victoria Gardens where I purchased the watch and the manager was super apologetic. i asked a sales associate at this south coast plaza store if they would price match their own online store for air pods and he said they could inly take a percentage off whereas the Victoria Gardens location took care of me. The only reason people say No is because they refuse to say yes! Your location needs better training and its a messy store as well.

They have a bad and so slow service. The staff told me that I have to wait for around 35 minutes, but I have to wait over 1h. Then I come in and ask them when I have a turn. They continue to tell me that I have to wait for another half an hour. Now I don’t know when they take my turn to repair my Ipad Air’s sound. I checked in at 12:33pm. Now it is 14:00pm. I have to still be waiting.

Terrible experience! Came into the store to purchase a watch. I gave my name to an associate to schedule our session and was told it would be an hour and fifteen minutes wait- which I was fine with. Time passed and I check in and was told someone will assist my aunt and I shortly. I saw many workers just walking around mindlessly and standing on the side speaking and laughing to one another. Some even looking our way and not bothering to check how long weve been waiting or checking if someone who was standing idly to the side could help us. 30 minutes passed until someone from the genius lab finally noticed that my aunt and I have been standing there for too long and he wasnt even the one assigned to help us. We were out of there with our intended purchase within 15 minutes after being helped.We went into the store knowing what we wanted and intended to be in and out quickly. We waited until the designated time slot we were assigned to have an associate tend to us. Now, it is the establishments job to make sure that the time slot that is promised to the customer is met. It is UNREASONABLE to make a customer wait as long as 30 minutes after their check in to be attended to. Whats the point of assigning a certain time to a customer if it is not met?Now, if you say that it would have been faster and easier to order it online- we did. We ordered two days prior to have it delivered to us that same day and even that was a failure. It was cancelled even when the payment went through AND we were not notified in any way that it was. If my aunt did not check the status of her order after hours of waiting, then we would not have known that it was cancelled.

Went in there to get my AirPod Pro repaired under the AirPods Pro Service Program for Sound Issues. Waited over an hour for someone to tell me they are 2 months over the 3 years since first retail sale of the unit. There was no notification of this what so ever. Wasted so much time.

I had a pleasant experience here at the South Coast Apple Store. I had an appointment at 11am, and was shortly seen by Daniel. He was very knowledgeable about the Apple products. I came into the store to get my Airpods Pros looked at because they had sound issues. He was able to diagnose the issue, but unfortunately, they werent under warranty, so a replacement wasnt option. It sucks, but oh well.

I made an appointment on a Sunday to have the battery replaced in my iPhone, I got to the store and the guy at the Genius Bar told me that they could not fix it that day because they were about to close in 20 minutes, but that I could come back any day in the next 5 days, he said they returning time will be 1 hour. So I came today Thursday thinking they could do it on 1 hr, but for my surprise the guy told me it cannot be done that I need to comeback for a third time with 2.5 hours at least!!! Waited 30 minutes for someone to come help us, who asked for the same details all over again and told us to wait for some other guy who will help. Waited 10 minutes. Had to tell the new guy the same details AGAIN, only to be told that it’s not possible to finance in store with the carrier we use. Why couldn’t they tell us that from the start before the 40 minute wait? All they do is tell us sorry and that’s it. The word “Disrespect” sums up my experience at this store. It is absurd that they allow their employees to be such poor representatives for the store and Apple as a whole. I had a reservation for the evening. I step foot into the store, and there’s no greeting whatsoever. As someone who rarely has to go into the Apple store, it should be understandable that I’m not familiar with the process of who to check in with. From my perspective standing by the entrance, there were blue-shirts scattered throughout and tending to other customers. All the workers look the same, so I have no way of knowing who the check-in people are. The fact that it’s not clear should be an indication that the employees are incompetent because the check-in people are described to be “standing at the front.” There were no workers standing by the entrance. I had to ask a security guard who the check-in people were, and he kindly pointed one out to me, and the worker was standing in the middle of the store—more in the back half of the store if anything. I walk up to this guy, explaining my situation of not getting help because it is difficult to differentiate between the workers, especially if they’re not standing in the spots that they were described to be located. He checks me in—fine. Then proceeds to be condescending by saying that typically I would not be allowed to proceed with my appointment because of the time that has passed. It had been 10 minutes. I was not able to intervene and ask any worker for assistance because they were all pre-occupied with other customers looking to buy a product. Not only does this guy display incompetence in not standing more towards the front, he decides to have an ego as well, mentioning how HE is making an exception and allowing me to proceed with being seen for help with my macbook. The sheer disrespect was ridiculous, especially because he was not standing or being attentive as he should have been. The condescension does not need to happen, especially with a customer who is not familiar with the process. The smugness in essentially implying that I wouldn’t be able to have my appointment without his exception is ridiculous considering that he is the one who is not doing his job properly. The implication that it was my fault for not knowing who the check-in person is, despite no one being obviously stationed at the front is nonsense. Absolute garbage service and the arrogance is uncalled for as well. Tone it down. I have worked in customer service in the past, and I would never fault someone for not being familiar with the operations of the store. Have some humility.

I wanted to say thank you to Micheal at the Genius Bar who helped me a few months ago. My computer was broken and a different store quoted me a few thousand to even retrieve the photos. Micheal was incredibly knowledgeable and had it working within seconds!! I really thought I’d never get my family pictures back! There was also a very polite and informative man with a hat+ Star Wars pin who helped me find sales associate, I apologize I think his name was Chris or Robbie. But they were both equally incredible in helping me solve my problems and find a new product that was right for me!! Please reward them and everyone in this store for all their hard work! As a customer I would be completely satisfied if they were to get a raise! Thanks and I’ll definitely be coming back if I have issues in the future!!

We frequent Crystal Court at least two times a week, and always amazed how busy this store is…We totally understand now! We went in to buy not one, but three devices. Needless to say we were very anxious, because of the money we were about to spend. Dereck was simply Awesome! Horrible service! They diagnosed my MacBook and said the issue it’s having is covered at no cost and will be fixed. 3 days later they let me know that they messed up I don’t qualify and wanted to charge $600 … gave me the runarounds and threw blame back and forth between them and tech support. They were rude and unapologetic for wasting 3 days during midterm week, could have taken it to a quicker cheaper repair service if they were upfront. Unprofessional!

Terrible experience.I went there to buy a phone.Chose a 14 pro, and proceed to payment. The seller insert my credit card in his weird iphone payment machine. I tell him my card wont be accepted without typing the pin: he says: no need. Then the card is rejected. I give him my debit card asking for a pin: again: no need... but: Reject (i have over 5k on this account). I had to spend 30 min on the phone with the bank, then credit card company, to hear that Both cards have been blocked for fraud suspicion, cause apple stores are at high risk of fraud. Of course: trying a $1200 payment without pin.... of course the bank will block that.NEVER AGAIN will i step a foot there.

We will never shop at this Apple store again and can now see why the reviews are so poor. Brian(Bryan) who is supposedly one of the managers there is extremely rude. Listen, when people are spending their hard earned money with you they dont expect to be talked to in a condescending and dismissive manner. Learn how to show patience and empathy for your customers situations especially when the issue is a result of Apples doing and not the fault of the customer.Brian(Bryan) basically came up to us already on the defensive, ready to tell us to go kick rocks. They said they’ll call me in a day or two to pick up my replacement but they never called/emailed nothing for 7 days.Called Apple directly which was a better experience and they scheduled a reservation to pick up my new Apple pencil replacement. Went in and got the runaround again and was told to come back a few days later. Did not leave store until replacement was given. Staff are very busy, but friendly. It can be hard to find someone to speak with. We had a Genius Bar appointment for a battery replacement and had to search around the store for an available person to check in with. Once we did they were very friendly and offered us a seat. Waited about 10 mins and another staff member came out to help us. Phone was fixed perfectly. The only bad thing about this location is the very busy nature of it.

The manager at this place was completely rude and not willing to understand the situation! Just simply kept stating Apple’s warranty and “nothing can be done” except pay $$$ for new screen or hardware. Makes no sense 2 iPhones would go bad at the same time after upgrading the software. The attention is terrible by the staff. If you ask if they speak Spanish, they see you in a derogatory way and only point to who is speaking or simply bring out the translator so as not to tell you who can assist you in your preferred language. Also, I went to buy an iPhone and they told me that I had to make an appointment even if the store was almost empty. I went to the other store in Irvine Spectrum and the attention was professional and within 5 minutes I had already bought my new iPhone without the need for an appointment or inconvenience.

First visit they asked me to make an appointment before they can see me which I understood as I work in customer service too and covid guidelines but what passed me off was I came for my appointment which was the same day couple of hours later and I was early for my appointment with store half empty and they still couldnt see saying I was early for my appointment and they can only check me in 5 mins prior to my appointment. Funny enough if you had appointment to buy something no need to wait but for getting service done on an existing product you have to wait. Although they werent able to fix, I was able to order a new one (online) with one of their laptops. We placed an order at the store location for Apple Air Pod plus. No stock available, so the guy that helped us place an online order in the store. I just called the store about the order and spoke to an incredibly rude lady (Leann) who even hung up the phone on me while i was asking about the order. She clearly did not want to help and was very dismissive. I asked for a manager, and while i was still talking she just transferred me into a managers voicemail. Almost to say, I dont have time for paying customers. I am shocked by the horrible level of customer service by Apple Employees at this store. Update: Called back and spoke to Manager Zyed. He was a lot more gracious and accommodating and took the time to explain the process and how online varies from store orders. Thank you. Even provided a telephone number for me to call and inquire about the order. How difficult was that Leann. Please take some lessons from your manager on how to treat customers.

I’ve only been to apple stores in Texas where I’m from but I really needed to go to the genius bar. this is no shade to the actual employees. I’ve worked customer service before so I know the pain but all the shade to the process to getting help. checking in, I had to hunt someone down for. there should be people at the entrance. then really no explanation to how it works until you realize they’re going down the table helping people. appt times? it won’t matter. it’s based on how people get there because that’s how they sit you at the table to wait. the other locations I’ve been to you would be assigned someone right away. they apologized for the wait so all is good there. if it was based on customer service solely I’d rate 4 out of 5 but since I know people get anxious in busy places like these I thought I would share my experience.

Brian and Eric!! Totally disgusted with their service. Worst experience ever!! Just the worst. Brian, who claimed to be the supervisor at 6:38pm on Friday July 3, 2020, and Eric were the two representatives who made this the worst experience anyone can ask for. Apple took my phone in on June 11, they sent it out to repair center, and repair center received it by June 15. On July 3, 2020, almost three weeks later, I receive the phone in the mail with the screen damaged and the phone was not anything like when I sent it out. When I sent out the phone, Apple noted that the phone had no cosmetic damage. Screen was great and no cracks whatsoever. As soon as I saw the phone, I called Apple south coast, and I was on hold for 40 minutes. Then I decided to drive to the store. Brian, same Brian who said he was the manager, checked me in and said that he remembered me bringing in my phone. He checked me in with Eric, who talked to me for 2 minutes, and then he comes out with a paper saying that when I accepted to send out the device, I accepted that I will be liable for any damage that occurs during the repair. I recorded the entire conversation, and when Brian saw that, he cane and said that he refuses to give me service at the store and that he wanted me out of the store. Not only did they break my phone, but they also told me to leave the store when they know they were at fault. Absolutely disgusted and I’ll upload the recording when I get the chance. Unacceptable, and truly saddened that Apple would allow this to happen.

When I arrive to the Apple Store they were quite busy but I was immediately greeted by one of the employees although he was unable to help me at that moment it wasnt long until another employee came assist me. On Monday 8-10-2021, we went to the Apple Store in South Coast Plaza. The place was crowded, so we had to wait for about 15 minutes before we were helped. The Apple associate who helped us out was Diego Rivera. The process of buying a new Apple phone and transferring the new data from the old phone to the new phone were quite easy. However, setting up all the functions for the new phone was really difficult since we did not remember what email and password we used to access the Apple website. We had to try different emails and passwords. It was confusing but fortunately, Diego’s patience and professionalism pulled us through. He was also friendly and polite and it was a pleasure being helped by him.

The same lady who told us, was playing game in of the tables with 3 more sales rep . The best store that I have ever been to. When I walked into a full store of customers, I wondered how I would get help and where I should go for assistance. Before I even finished that thought, someone already was on my side asking to help me. I was surprised how she saw me walking in when there were so many people in the Store.The technicians serviced at the Genius desk were all very professional, no nonsense chatting, but were into fixing the issues. I only had to say it once and he got it (not like other store that I had to repeat many times yet still they didnt get it). They just listened and got it, when at other store, they would listen, not pay attention, interrupt me, and eventually just dont get it so that I have to repeat the issue trying to speak fast so that I would not be interrupted by them, that is extremely annoying, a total waste of my time and energy.Then, I was invited to sit at the table to wait for it when they took my device into the back room to repair. Then, I thought my name would be called or whatever. Not so! A technician delivered my device to my table and explained what he did without me having to get up to walk to the counter to pick up my device.Then, another agent came over to conclude the service. But since I wanted to buy some accessories and asked if they carried them, she contacted someone in the back office from a hand-held device to ask about the accessories. Then, she told me they were available at the other side of the Store. As I was ready to get up to walk to the other side of the Store to find the accessories. She told me to just sit there as she was going to get them for me. I said I might want to see different choices. She said there were only two kinds that she could bring both of them to me to select from. Then, she even put the accessories on my device for me properly.In the end, I was ready to pay. I thought I would get up to go to the cashier to pay. But she told me to just sit there, as she would run the payment from her hand-held device directly. So eventually I got my device repaired and accessories purchased and put on my device when I was sitting at the table the whole time. Unbelievable! I like it and was deeply impressed by Apples service, truly ahead of the time. A pleasant experience throughout the process.

Dave gave me lousy service, did not repair my cell phone, reset my settings and told me that they did not change the cell phones there, I have warranty for many years and only once I used it when I had an accident and in the apple store in Cerritos they replaced my cell phone without problems. This is the second time I called the apple customer service line, they made the appointment because they told me that they would replace my unit there and that it had a cost of $100, DAVE did not want to do it and sent me to call the customer service line again, he said that they gave me incorrect information. Couple of months ago It was decided to get the Apple 30$ battery replacement. Process was kind of long. When we went in for the in-store visit, the employee that was assigned to us attempted to rushed the appointment and clearly did not care for the satisfaction of the customer. Whenever questions were posed, they were either waved off or quickly answered without care or thought. In addition the quality of the battery swap was also as bad as the employee. While the phone did have better battery life, the engineers had screwed up the internals of the phone, and the screen would flicker or freeze. The buttons on the phone at one point did not respond, and there was no saving the phone. I ended up having to get a new phone.

Iphone was compromised at this store. I switched over to the newest iphone and during the switch, Apple bought my old phone and transferred my data onto the new phone. On the same day I bought the phone (2/12/22), I eventually found out there was an UNAUTHORIZED purchase from Gamestop for $47 on an online $50 Vanilla gift card I had been gifted to last Christmas that was sent to my yahoo email, which I have the app on my phone. This purchase was made that evening on the same date. For almost 2 months I had this giftcard email in my account, and coincidentally this purchase was made on the same day? I have called Apple twice, and theyre reviewing the case, but im very upset with this store and how they handle customers. There is a trashy tattoed shmuck who walks up to customers demanding to put their masks on, no customer service etiquette whatsoever. Im going to continue to bug Apple until this issue is resolved, do NOT trust this store, much less losing my trust in the whole Apple brand. Make sure to delete all important info before getting your iphone compromised, customers should not even have to worry about this.

I had a very touchy matter with an Apple product and at first I was getting the run around but then Ross one of the techs there made it happen coupled with my persistence and no hold bars attitude I got my friend’s iPhone replaced at no cost. My sons laptop had problems charging. I had an appointment for 4:20 pm & I showed up about 10 minutes early. I was approached as soon as I entered the store. The guy checked me in & had me sit to wait for the next available tech. I waited about 5 minutes when a gentleman named Peter came over to help. I told him the problem & gave him the laptop & the charger. As he was looking at the charger he noticed that the cord at both ends were bent & broken (due to my son wrapping the cord around the charger plug). Peter did a diagnostic test on the laptop using the stores charger. The problem ended up being the charger & Peter replaced it. My total time in the store was 20 minutes. Peter was very knowledgeable & very professional. He also showed me how to wrap up the charger cord without causing the ends to bend & break. I was very pleased with my service experience!!

I took time out of my day to come have it replaced under the 1 year warranty. Since its only been 2 months I assumed this wouldnt be a problem. Reserved a iPhone ahead of time, only to be told that Apple changed policies recently, so only people on an upgrade plan were able to reserve and pick up. Im hurt too much from Apple online and customer service in Apple South Coast Plaza - CA, I bought a brandnew iphone 12pro but I received an errors one, and it took me alot of trouble and time to connect with Apple people from online to Apple Shop to solve my case, the man name Giovanni from Apple online confirm replacement a new one for me after chatting done, but the staff at Apple shop did not do replacement, a Vietnamese female staff told me that she could not replace the new one and they would open the phone to fix problem only, I did not agree with that way of solving my case, and request to tell with the manager of the shop, then the manager agreed to replace a new one for me but she also said that she would not indemnify for my screen protection film,is this film valuable more than Apple Brandname???!!!From deep of my heart I just wanna get a kindly, friendly and fair behaving from Apple staff, Im so hurt and up set about them!!!😭😭😭

Faced an issue when I updated my MacBook Air, went there to solve my issue, the store manager “Brayan” told me they don’t hv any availability for me and I hv to come back in few days when they have a spot.. My mom bought a mac book pro for my sister from there and it wouldn’t turn on. we then had to go back and replace the mac book for the second time and that was also broken. so we had to go to another apple store to get it replaced and they explained the problem. they should check the devices if they work because it’s very rare to have something wrong with the computer system there twice. the service should also be better. i personally wouldn’t want to come back there because of the issues.

I wasnt sure how it was going to go since my Macbook Pro didnt have any OBVIOUS hardware issues, it was the only way I could get though on the Apple website to get through to make an appointment at the Genius Bar. My appointment was on time, and the guy I had EVAN was awesome. He was super patient, and knowledgable. After entering the store walking around and realizing that no one even acknowledges me, walked up to some sales person and requested some assistance. She makes me wait for 20 minutes before I have to walk back to her while dozens of sales personnel are just walking around doing absolutely nothing. We live in Huntington Beach, and I drive to this store to get my Verizon phone items. The Huntington Beach store, is just not worth dealing with. In the past they have been rude, unwilling to help, and just do not care. Also they try to push you into buying things right now. Also just do not seem to care. The CM store is soooo much better. They really do listen to your needs, and not just trying to sell you equipment. So I will make the 20 min drive there instead of the store that is right around the corner.

This store is way overcrowded and its hard to get help. I went in for a battery replacement and the genius bar told me that because battery are a popular item for replacement and they dont hold inventory for it. It was a 2 or 3 week wait for shipment to their store if I ordered it with them. This is like going to KFC and them telling me that because chicken is a popular item on the menu and due to demand they only order them when quested by the customer. I definitely recommend visiting this store for the purchase, repair, or research of Apple products. This store is a bit crazy though... they seem to be almost always packed with people, so its hard to navigate your way around or get your hands on a display device, & its usually very loud. However, there are tons of very knowledgeable employees so getting help doesnt take as long as you might think. Also, you can make an appointment online so its easier to walk in & get help right away. Ive brought computers in to the Genius Bar & the employees are always very helpful & very patient. Most people know that Apple products are some of the highest quality devices you can buy, but they are also very expensive. The frustration with having to download iTunes when your daughter locked her self out of her phone is bad enough but when there’s a 40 minute wait just to have them do it, ridiculous. However, when she referred me to the Costa Mesa store to pickup the phone instead of using the mail service, this store gave me nothing but hard time even i had an online referral. I was able to demonstrate at the store and they still dont want to replace my phone despite i just bought 5 of them. They are calling themselves geniuses but are not that smart. I am a senior IT professional in the business for over 40 years and i kept mentionning that sometimes its not software related but also hardware related but they continue running through software testing showing no problem. I am completely dissatisfied with them and will post this customer service experience on the web. This already make me decided to go back to Android with my next phone. My suggestion to Apple is to reduce the amount of so-called geniuses and rather spent money on replacement phone (even refurbished) in case customer has issue. Store Manager should be under tighter control instead of just brushing off customer especially for those that has complete trust in Apple after purchasing 5 iphones.

My iPhone XS is having the apple logo stay on my phone so I cant boot into it. I have tried most of the advice online and it has not worked. So I had to drive to this location as a walkin because I dont have another apple device and cant authenticate so I was unable to schedule a appointment ahead of time. This incident occurred a while ago but it changed my perspective on this apple store. A customer was being rude about my family and an employee joined and agreed with her negative comments. She assumed I was Chinese and blamed my sister’s crying on our assumed race. I am Vietnamese. “Yea thats because there Chinese. Asians don’t know how to do anything.” They continued to stare at us and judge us from a distance but I was able to hear them clearly. They assumed that I couldn’t understand them as well. The male employee tried speaking to me across the table slowly and I looked up at him unhappily. then he said something like, “yea she does not understand.”

The sales staff and other gents have very poor communication with one another. I came in to purchase an iPad and I was given the run around by then. First I was told to get in the line that looped out the door, then told that I didn’t need to be in the line bc I wasn’t purchasing a phone, and then told to get back in line. I’d prefer to spend money on a company that shows more value to its customers.

Its another Apple store and this one is almost always crowded, so always busy and again its an Apple store. if you are considering going there Im not sure why even read this review. they are all the same and the people who go here are already sure beyond doubt that nothing else will do and so regardless of reviews will go here to get repairs and replacement and huge bills in the process.

As with any Apple store its organized chaos, but I always manage to get what I need done in a reasonable amount of time without much fuss. Granted if youre going for something more serious, such as troubleshooting or Genius Bar, expect to be waiting for quite some time.

I have been a faithful Apple fan as far as I can remember. I am an avid user of the products and they are part of my everyday life. Today all of a sudden my iPhone stopped functioning after going to the gym. I go to the apple store after I try to charge it because it wont power on so I thought maybe the battery died but it wasnt the case. It turns out that the phone had water damage. I explained to the genius that I had been to the gym earlier and was in the steam room for a short period of time. He said that was probably it and that I could get an iPhone repair for 300 dollars. He also explained that sweat could trigger the water sensor. So my question is why do they even advertise their phones while working out? What kind of false advertising is this? I also explained that I have an iPad in my bathroom and there is steam from the shower every day and I have never had a problem. He pretty much told me that I had NO COMMON SENSE. I dont care if I am in the wrong, you dont tell a loyal customer thing. The genius name was Brian and he asked me if I wanted to talk to a manager which I agreed to. Richard was very pleasant and apologized for the blatant insult. He explained that he could not do anything for me because of the water damage which I know he could have switched the phone and kept a customer happy for many years to come but here I am upset and feeling betrayed by a brand that I love.After I walked out of the store I happen to remember an ad for an iPhone that shows it being used in the SHOWER. What kind of advertising is this???I will be writing to apple corporate and posting in several tech blogs about this. The last thing apple needs is more negative customer service but they should teach their employees some manners. They have a brand image to uphold.

Terrible service.Said it would be 30 mins to fix something. Did not get me anyone to me for 2 hours.Then another 3 hours to fix the phone. But when I came back made me wait another 2 hours.Had multiple apple product problems and said I would have to come back to fix any other problems. 1 device for 1 customer.

Never go to this store for any kind of service again. It will save you alot of heartache. I went in for service because my phone made a very small piping noise. They missed my appointment and madee me another appointment for 3 hours latter. The tech representative who helping me didnt know anything about tech, she denied hearing any sound. She also said maybe I hear the noise because I used Tmobile service. That is the most ignorance thing a tech would say to a customer. I used iphone 4 for more than a year with tmobile and it sounded great, and now I upgraded to 4s and I got the problem? with international version? She went as far as saying if the noise is so small, she wouldnt repair it because it is not a big deal. But it is big deal to me, imaging talking to your girlfriend or boyfriend half an hour in your quite room and hearing that constant piping sound. I demanded to talk to the manager, and guess what, they were on the same boat. I was furious, but I know I was fighting a losing battle so I left. After I left the store I drove to Fashion Island apple store and God, what a different. The representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. As soon as he heard my problem, he told me right away that there is something wrong with my receiver. He did some testing and confirm his theory. He immediately swapped out my phone with another one. The transaction was quick and professional. I would recommend anyone buy apple products at Fashion Island Apple Store. Please give credit to the store that deserve it. Apple makes some amazing products but Southcoast Store almost erase all that good impression on me.

Extremely busy but with Appointment you can get some new gadets, learn how to use apple products. In my case it was a Mac mini acting up. Genius spent over an hour to fix the glitch with Kernel. He had to go back Sierra from High Sierra OS. Well so far no problems but cant say for sure in upgrade to High Sierra OS again..

F- FOR THE SERVICE AT THIS STORE- Scheduled an appointment online, arrived ontime, waited 1 hour, accidentally skipped and apologized, still waited another 15 minutes. Our family owns many apple products and have always loved apple products. The service at this store is changing our mind. The worst example of customer service from their regular employees to their managers. We had a problem with one of our Ipads, it was still under warrantee, but because the ipad had a small damage on the side, they said it would void the warrantee, we would have to pay $419 to get another refurbished one. We tried to explain that we understand that theres a damage on the side, but it also has a warrantee issue with the circular button not working and properly going back to the home page. They explained that they will take care of the warrantee issue after we pay and they replace it, now that makes sense doesnt it?, well fix things under warantee after we replace it for another and you pay $419. They were clear that this is company policy. I contacted the apple headquarters and they told me that it is not company policy and the store manager can make the decision its at the discretion of each store, they suggested I call back and speak to the store manager. While my husband was at the genius bar, I called the apple store and asked for the manager Nick, I explained the situation, I also told him that I have confirmed that decisions are made by the store managers based on what the corporate office told me. They can take care of our issue if they choose to do so, he very kindly asked me if he can place me on hold while he went out and took care of the situation with my husband. Instead of him going out to do as he promised. My husband called me and explained that this Nick went out and was aggravated as to why I have called and theres no need for him to deal with multiple people. When my husband tried to explain, he shut him down and told him he would rather speak with the apple employee Christine. Meanwhile, I was waiting on hold to see what this manager Nick had promised me he would do and come back to the phone. He actually never came back to the phone, but he sent the worker in his store to tell me that my husband has left. Thats nice, the purpose of my call wasnt to keep track of my husband was it? Its astonishing to me that in this day of advancements and training, managers and workers are hired to not value the customer or give them enough respect to at least come back to the phone after theyve placed someone on hold. I decided to call again because I never received a response from the nick that placed me on hold and asked for him. He answered the phone and I had a simple question did you have an issue with at least responding back to me when you placed me on hold, his response was as bland as his service No. I asked him if he relayed my message to the manager assisting my husband Its at the discretion of the store to replace an ipad under warantee even if it has small damage, he said NO, so basically my entire phone call and conversation with him was a waste of time. I will follow up with the store manager Steve Jones to see if he is able to correct the utterly disappointing service this store is providing and will update you on my situation, but my suggestion would be to find another place thats a little more professional.

Gave my new MacBook pro and my pc for data migration. They took 4 days...did nothing. Plus, i had two scratches on the apple logo of my new mac and the paper it comes with which doesn’t let the keyboard touch the screen was also missing and “they had no idea about it”. Pathetic....i would never leave my electronic products with those people in the store again. Because they clearly do not care once you’ve bought. Wta*!

My daughter walks in to the store with her iPhone and the employee checks the phone and finds no physical damage and working fine except for an internal problem due to the phone so when my daughter comes back to pick up the phone they charge her for a damaged screen she did not do to the phone??? Horrible customer service! I was trying to exchange a defective iPhone 7 and the guy that was assigned to help me was super rude, disrespectful, and obnoxious. He said that Apple recently came out with a new rule that all iPhone 7 and 8 purchased online cannot be return it exchanged in store. He told me to do the return/exchange using one of the computers they have available in the store. He pointed at the computers that all customers can access and play around on. Then he walked away.First of, I checked Apple site and even call Apple, and there is no such rule. The guy is a complete LIAR! Secondly, shouldnt he or anyone else on his team be able to help me do the exchange/return since Im already at the store? Why do I have to log into a public computer at an Apple store to do a return/exchange?!?!F#*k customer service guy or whatever Apple calls these people. I hope he gets fired. Im pretty if he keeps up with his attitude towards customers, hes bound to be reprimanded one day. In hindsight, I should have called out his manager while I was at the store, but I was too pissed off to have the patience.

Apple computers are priced at a premium compared to any other computer. Therefore, the expectation is to get a premium product with premium support.Here is the challenge: if anything happens to your mac, you are at the mercy of overcrowded stores who offer very limited flexibility and tend to err on the side of what is more convenient to them rather than the customer (specifically the Santa Ana store).I have a computer that has a hardware issue and I cant take it anywhere else because it voids the warranty. I value the option of taking it directly to the manufacturer (Apple), so long as the process is simple and fast for the customer (3-4 days to service or repair ... what happens in the mean time?). With virtually every other brand you could either repair the machine yourself or take it to a location that could take care of it locally and with expediency.Apples repair process used to be very good, now it is mediocre at best. I am considering migrating all our macs to PC-based systems.

Went to South Coast Plaza to check my favorite store Z gallery after a while quarantine at home😷😷😷 quite a shock to see crowed almost in all stores. Some even waiting on a long line to get in. If you go to 2nd floor most they send you down to enter like Pottery Barn due to Coronavirus guidelines of counting visitors shopping at same time. If you are planning to do early Christmas shopping, I guess Monday or Tuesday early morning will be best to save time and check out most places you like, plus you get merchandise before they are sold out. Most stores I checked they had 25% to 40% off and with lots of choices.By the way Target had a great deals on Christmas tress prices starts from $30 & up plus Christmas lights on sale.I also checked CVS in Alton Sq, not many Christmas stuff and was limited only to one isle.☹️Happy shopping & stay safe! 🎄🎄🎄😷
