Apple Store in Fashion Island NewportThe store is super clean. The staff is very helpful. You also have appointments at the Genius Bar for service issues.I love going in to see and put my hands on new Apple Devices. Love their technology.IPhones, iPads, watches, computers, displays peripherals and more.Apple Store is like a candy shop of technology.

The worst experience ever at the Genius Bar! I had an appointment today 2/9 at 11:15. The guy who called my name at around 11:25 was condescending and rude and said “He didn’t have time to help me since he had other customers to tend to.” He spent less than 3 minutes with me and did zero to help. I understand that these Genius Bar appointments are allotted to about 15 minutes to fix an issue. However, he was 10 minutes late getting to me so that doesn’t mean he should cut me short to get on to the next person. He seemed annoyed and uninterested in helping at all regardless of how much time he was running behind.I’m a business owner and took my laptop in to check out some of the glitches I’m experiencing and most likely need to upgrade to a new laptop, but i wanted to see if the issues on my laptop are due to storage space or something else. His response to me was to delete messages from my computer. That’s it. And if it doesn’t work well then *shrugs shoulders* get a new laptop. I’m like cool story guy, but how is deleting some messages on my computer going to solve the issue? What if it doesn’t- do i make ANOTHER appointment? Why aren’t any of my applications opening? Because people have texted me? This guy was beyond rude, condescending and such poor customer service i was speechless.The employee next to him helping another fortunate customer seemed engaging and helpful. Such a bummer i got my dude. I don’t know his name, but he was a balding short man so god speed if you get him at your next appt.

On Wednesday at 5:00 pm, there were approximately 20 available staff on the sales floor, no one would wait on us, we asked the manager on duty if we could be waited on, she said one minute..she never replied.DISCRIMINATION.I protest this store for discrimination, we came in to buy an ipad and were rejected service due to color of our skin.Shame on Apple for being entitled to practice discrimination.NOW we’re going to SAMSUNG for a Tablet.TH

Made an appointment at 2:30. Saw a few people walk in after me and get helped before. I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t look like tbere were 3-5 people who could help me out. All I needed was to get my phone speakers cleaned but they decided to help people for 15-20 minutes asking questions about issues when they could have taken my phone the minute I got there and had it done in 5 minutes. Very disappointed in the service. Especially since I’m an avid Apple customer. The wait time is laughable why do I need to make a reservation if I’m just going to be waiting for half an hour just to hand my phone over to someone it’s silly and unprofessional.

Went with an issue with braided watch band having stretched out over time. The Apple expert said to just machine wash and dry. It did not work. Will try Irvine Spectrum store to see if more helpful.

Went to return vision pro, only one person to do returns helping a customer, one customer had 2 employees. The return employee wanted to make me wait even though another employee offered to start return. Very poor customer service and very rude employees.

Not going to this place ever again. They do not want your business. They did not want to price match Amazon because it is a membership, and then they said we can only price match Best Buy up to 10 percent. This was after waiting 30 minutes to get acknowledged by someone.Second bad experience at this location.

Vision Pro demonstration is something everyone should experience. Came in 1/13 between 3:30-6:00pm to replace my phone using apple care. I recently purchased iCloud storage and asked the employee how to back up everything before the transfer.He showed me and ensured everything is backed up. I had doubt and went through it to see iMessage, note app, and other apps were not backed up… I showed him this and he said oh. I then kept asking are you sure all of my photos are backed up then. He kept saying yes. 4k photos can be backed up in less than 2 min????I should have questioned him further because as soon as the transfer was done and everything synced is when I realized iCloud didn’t backup over 3k photos. The employee already wiped my original phone.On top of that. I needed to purchase a new screen protector but there was miscommunication on the pick up order table where the guy kept sending me back to the Genius Bar to have someone help me. Finally a woman questioned why I was still there waiting after over an hour and then apologized that there was miscommunication.Customer service needs to be improved greatly. I lost over 3k photos and waited over an hour for a simple screen protector application.

Out of ALL the Apple stores I’ve been to worldwide, this store had the most ridiculous store policies. The store closes at 8pm, they start telling people you need to stop doing what you’re doing and leave soon a little after 6pm. I was there to purchase a Macbook and the staff must’ve changed about 6 times from the first person I inquired about the Macbook to the last person that helped me to set up the newly purchased Macbook. I spent almost $3000 for the Macbook, and they start treating you like an old customer immediately after the transaction. I’ve been an Apple customer since the birth of Apple, and I started seeing customer service degrading more and more. I’m not sure if they train their staff to orient around sales and repairs, and keep the rest out of the store, but that’s how I feel nowadays. All I wanted to do before walking out of the store was to complete a task like transferring files from iCloud or hard drive, they start telling you it can be done at home and rush you out of the store. I was so upset, I ended up returning the Macbook and walked out. If this was close to the closing hour, I’d understand. But it was something that could’ve been done plenty before the closing, and they didn’t even try. Apple, you let me down.
