Shain was a fantastic amount of help. He setup our Sonos home theater system in two room and the audio is amazing. HE got the job done in the estimated amount of time and was super helpful to teach us how to use the system. And at the end he clean up our computer computer of junk programs to speed them up. Shain is super quick and accurate with whatever computer needs I have. Although hes always busy, he manages to find time for emergencies (real or imagined). He gives thorough explanations and best of all for non-techies (me), hes patient and doesnt make me feel like an idiot. Shain is such a lifesaver, I am extremely impressed with his expert knowledge in both hardware and software, and would highly recommend him for any technology needs. I called AnyTech CA after having issues with my laptop not booting up or taking forever to start when it did, and spoke to Shain about what was going on. He was able to fit me in that day and diagnose the problem almost immediately. He had my laptop fixed and running faster than before in only two days, and it cost a lot less than another quote I received from a local tech. He was super professional and transparent about the whole process, I’m not well-versed in computers but he was able to clearly explain to me what had happened and exactly how he was fixing it. He also offered a 15% off discount for being a college student!

Awesome service for this group. While I was stuck in the hospital I spoke with a rep over the phone asking to have one their techs to help me buy a touchscreen laptop. After a some discussion they sent out one of their tech to Best Buy and picked up a laptop with the specs I asked for. The technician, Shain was very patient and helpful to get the new laptop set up for my use.

The Best in Santa Barbara! Shain has been a godsend. Ive had several issues with both my computer and my tv and he has handled them all in the most prompt and pleasant manner. He is definitely my go-to guy. Among other things, my computer was about to die and he put in a new hard drive, and now I have a brand new machine. Saved all my files and didnt lose a thing.

Shain is a very knowledgeable technician. I hired him to take care of a number of issues being our slow internet speed, very slow computers and cable management throughout our office. With in minutes he found that the problem to our slow internet speed were caused by our current service provider. He then arranged a technician from Cox and we have cruising with their service since.Our office had become plagued with cables running everywhere. after a few hours he cleaned them up.Give Shain a call, you will not be disappointed!

After reading Shains reviews, I find it hard to come up with even more descriptions of his attitude and services. Hes so amazing! And every review expanded on his multiple abilities. But I think the most important thing to know is that Shain will absolutely not quit until a problem is fixed. He really understands the panic Ive had when something has gone wrong - like a totally black screen this morning when I had to write a marriage ceremony for a couple coming from Europe. My husband and I have called him now and again and he always has come to our house that same day. I really cant say enough good things!

My laptop was not starting up all the way and I was worried sick because of all my pictures on it. I called Shane and he picked up my laptop right away. He said he would bring it back within a few days and he did. My laptop came back better than before and way faster. I couldnt be any happier with his service and definitely recommend him for all your computer needs!

These guys are the Best! My first problems included a hijacked website which lead into my work and personal email becoming compromised. I sat down with two guy, Shain and Marc and they laid out a plan to get website secured and emails back in my control. They were very patient while I was in a panic mindset. In all they were a delight to work with and am very thankful to have found them in my time of need!

I had a large TV installed on my bedroom wall. It was a tricky installation due to it was on a swinging arm sandwiched between a corner and a slider. I also have a thing about seeing zero cords. Shain was able to meet all my expectations. The job was done quickly, professionally, and he cleaned up nicely. I would highly recommend this company for your tech needs.

He gave us assurance with a new static hard drive and more RAM our computer would become as new as it was our of the box. I first hired Shain from AnyTech to increase speed on my computer. He came out the same day, was on time, took 35 minutes and not only increased speed but did general maintenance. I dont know anything about computers and yet didnt feel he was milking time or trying to upsell me to increase the bill. He was sincere and honest.I highly recommend him and AnyTech!

This young man, Shain saved my Wi Fi computer failure big time. My day started out fine but by mid day my WiFi shot me in the foot and for all intense and purpose my reports lay dead in my head. I had heard about this young man from a associate of mine across town. I made the call, and Shain was here in twenty minutes and within the hour The Wi Fi was back up and running ready to complete my days work ahead of schedule. We Love Shain! he came out to our home to fix our internet problem and found the solution in minutes. We then asked what he could do to remedy our very slow computer and he advised to for a SSD upgrade. Our computer is blazing fast and couldnt be happier! Recommended!

Fantastic group! I was in a crisis with my home computer where some fakes Microsoft Representative tricked me in to giving them access to my machine., I called in and they had it fixed the same day. I later hired them again because my computer wasnt at all as fast as it used to be. they described that an upgrade to the storage device with a flash memory chip would make it better than new and They were spot on with every claim! I had a crack on my Lenovo Yoga 710 screen that started to trail upwards and needed to replace my screen. I found Shain on Yelp to set up an appointment. He was nice initially and was quick to respond at first, and had no problems coming to Isla Vista that day (Monday) for a pick up fee, but contacting him became an issue when he told me that he fixed my laptop and we were figuring out pick up. Initially, he called me and said that he would come drop it off on that Thursday night, but when the time came, he failed to show up and contact me. I had to text him only to find out he was too exhausted and forgot about it. I came downtown on Saturday to pick up my laptop, and he did fix my screen, but only after I had taken my laptop home and used it for a couple days that I realized that there is some type of blue tint on the inside of my webcam. I emailed him a couple days later, got no response, then texted him inquiring that there might be a blue film on the inside only for him to reply Ohhh wow yah there might be, damn thats annoying. I asked if hed be able to fix it and if it would be an extra charge and got no response.Long story short, I am frustrated that I already paid him the amount to fix one problem, but he has caused another and is unprofessional with communicating efficiently.UPDATE: Shain ended up contacting me, and removed the blue film on my laptop within a few hours without an extra charge. For that, I have edited my review and given him one more star.

My computer is fast now! I had a MacBook Pro 2012 that was running unbearably slow and the Mac store said I would just have to buy a new one. Unable to afford that solution, I went to Shain who offered me a speed recovery solution—new SSD, cleaning software, etc. My computer now runs just as fast as the new Macs on the market and I saved over $700 by going to Anytech.Shain is a very smart, professional, personable young gentleman. Plus, he diagnosed my computer from the comfort of my office. I’m very happy.

Shain installed a new hard drive for a roommates PC, my roommate is ecstatic. My ethernet cable needed a new heads (plug) so I asked Shain if he could fix it and he said yes, he came back the next day to install new heads on my 100 foot long ethernet cable. I am another ecstatic customer!!!

Shain at AnyTech saved 1.5 years worth of pictures and videos on my bricked iPhone after I was told by the apple store that it wouldnt be possible. (No iCloud backup, no external hard drive back up, nothing)Before I called AnyTech, I was in contact with data recovery specialists and was told I could only get my data back if I paid anywhere from $400-1400. In addition, it would have taken two weeks, and my phone would have been taken apart, rendering it useless.Shain fixed it for me so quickly--I had my phone back 5 hours later, data and all! (On a SUNDAY)This guy is the man! Brightened my day!

Beware!I’ll begin with saying this review isn’t worth a 1 star rating.If you are looking for computer repairs you may be better off looking elsewhere.My experience started out great and then quickly turned for the worse when I took my MacBook Pro in for an issue with the track pad not working.1. I was originally quoted $150 then it turned out to be $250 when the computer was done.2. After the computer was repaired I had to return the computer the same day because it wasn’t working correctly.3. The follow day the computer was retuned AGAIN for the same issue.4. About six weeks later I made an appointment to return the computer once again for track pad issues and he didn’t show up when he said he would be there.5. When the computer was finished he delivered it to my office, that was the only decent service I received.6. He called to say the computer was fixed and he had to use “paper/cardboard” to get it to depress correctly.7. It didn’t work, it was actually worse and more difficult to work with and required extreme force to press the track pad to make it function.8. Took the computer to the Apple store and it was discovered that he did in fact use paper/cardboard with tape inside the computer on the track pad corners9. Apple had the computer fixed the same day for $134.00 without paper & tape10. Two attempts were made to request a refund for inferior repairs and never heard from Shain again.Very Disappointing! Should have taken it to Apple in first place to save time, effort and money.

Took my laptop that had water in for a diagnostic to see if I could recover the data from my hard drive. Nice guy, but after no call back after the 30 min i was told i would be, I called in to find that it was dried and a new hard drive was being installed. Thats fine and all, if id wanted that and not just a diagnostic. Also was told that they couldnt do data recovery on my hard drive that wouldnt take power, which is the only reason im even writing this review.
