Tried it on my lunch break at work. Love that they offer beyond meat options so I ordered two of the tacos with salsa and sour cream added on for both. Unfortunately I tried calling ahead to place my order since my lunch break goes quickly but no one answered and no online ordering yet. Walked over and placed my order and the waitress was very nice. Waited 20 minutes and got my food but was disappointed that my tacos were plain. The description says cheese and cilantro lime sauce however mine did not come with that. More accurate descriptions of the food would be nice but besides that the food was good.Response to Owners comment:That is actually not what happened. I walked in on my lunch break, ordered the food and asked how long it would be. The server said “About 20 minutes” so I left and came back in 20.Unfortunately, I did not notice the order was missing the toppings until I was already back to work and opened the container. My lunch break was over and I was unable to return to have it corrected. If the waitress was not sure about it needing to be vegan I wish she would’ve asked while I was there.Additionally, why would I add on sour cream to both tacos if I was vegan? I understand wanting to be careful with people’s food restrictions but when you use common sense to think about the food order it should’ve been a no brainer. If there was hesitation to add on what the order comes with the waitress could’ve asked.

Small brewery in the heart of San Luis Obispo with a lot of chatter lately. Decided to stop in for Taco Tuesday. They had a great deal of three tacos and a beer for $18. Our server, Tyler was exceptional. Professional, patient, and quick to answer any questions we had. The beer was really good. I had the Emperor and Japanese Summer while my lady had a Margarita. Service was prompt and the restaurant was clean. Props all around for this kid friendly, dog friendly brewery.

Fabulous new brewery. The servers are all taught to pour beer correctly every time. I tried almost every beer and some of my favorites are the hoppy Belgian style wit and the continuously hopped ipa. The porter is also excellent, and the medals are deserved. Music is always on point with good speakers and punchy sub woofer. You will not want to leave. I did not try the food.

Overall...great place to come for drinks/food with friends. The place is open, spacious, and well lit (natural light and electric). They have cozy chair/couch seating as well has padded high top seating. The bar is long with many more seats. Their beer variety spans most tastes and the food is spot on. Owners were easy to talk with and clearly have their hearts in making this a success.

Wanted to try out this place out now that its open. Owners were friendly, great peeps. Open space, lots of seating to choose from. Casual laid back atmosphere.BF got his IPAs and I got a porter. The IPAs are lighter on the hop side but still tasty. The porter was rich and satisfying like a porter should be.We also decided to share a chicken sandwich. The flavors were spot on, just wish the bread held up better.A great beer spot for SLO.

Terrific little brewery with really good West Coast IPAs made with their own hops they grow here locally. I also had the Taco Salad with carnitas which was excellent, all the veggies very fresh and crisp and the carnitas and home made tortilla chips were terrific! Even bought tee shirt I liked it so much. Service very friendly and fast including by the owners!Only thing not great was TV as difficulty getting college football games on to view on a Saturday afternoon which is prime time.

Classy interior with open yet comfortable feel with great natural lighting. Nice cozy area for sitting and for conversation with friends.Good range of beers for every taste. I had the English IPA which was very good.My only suggestion would be that food should be available for lunch at 12:00 and not 30 minutes later after opening.

Weve been meaning to check this place out for awhile and lucked out getting into town right as they opened. Tyler the server / bartender was super friendly and greeted us as he was opening up the windows. Nice little patio near the street since we had our dog, but the inside was really cozy and looks like a great place to hang out. Our toddler enjoyed the table games of jenga and connect 4. The beers were quite good, we got three tasters and one full pour of Celebration. The Box O Chocolate stout is delicious, so we ended up getting some cans to go. The celebration ale was really nice, felt perfect for the season and the fairly chilly weather. We ended up ordering another one. The food menu looks great, we only tried the street tacos, but want to come back to try more. Tacos were really nice, decent flavor on the chipotle chicken, but I hoped for a bit more kick.

Beer and service were good, but my friends and I shared a plate of chips and salsa and we all got diarrhea the next day.Response to owners comment:I want to clarify that the chips and salsa at your establishment were the only item my friends and I shared. We did not dine elsewhere together at any other time. All three of us experienced diarrhea the next morning. One of us had to go to urgent care, and another missed work due to sickness. Upon reading your response, I find it disheartening that your focus is on disputing the feedback rather than addressing potential health concerns. I hope this issue can be taken seriously and used as an opportunity for improvement.

Stumbled upon this spot when in SLO for a quick trip and was not disappointed. The staff was so nice and welcoming, beers were pretty good too. Beautifully designed interior along with some outdoor seating (and more to come apparently).

Great brewery. The owners were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The indoor seating was super comfortable. All seats were couches or plush chairs, I could spend all day there relaxing and having beer! Plus the location is perfect for a nice relaxing vibe downtown.We didn’t get any food, but we got a few rounds. The beers were a great price and they had a good selection. We will definitely be coming back regularly!

Ive had the good fortune to taste Chriss beers for many years, so Ive been looking forward to the opening of Antigua Brewing since it was first announced (pre-covid). Now that they are finally open, I am thrilled to find the beers just as good or better than any from their home-brewing days. The menu has several variations on IPAs, but better balance than many of the popular varieties. The Zeus and Thor IPAs are among the best Ive ever tasted - probably due in part to their home-grown fresh hops. The Porter is also excellent. All the beers are well-balanced and drinkable. If I lived in SLO, I might have a problem!Not just the devoted owners, but also the rest of the staff are hard-working and attentive. Ricky took good care of us last night at the bar.

The beer here is good not great (4/5). I sampled 6 out the 8 beers on tap. All decent beers but nothing that surprised or really excited me. But it was the food that really disappointed us. The chicken wings ($12), 6 tiny wings, cold on the inside so they were obviously microwaved and lacked taste or sauce or any anything that resembled crispness. The chicken strips ($12) for 3 lonely strips on a plate that were generic frozen food. Same with our chicken sandwich, bland, boring, and completely forgettable. Now i realize that this is a new brewery/restaurant and they often need to work out the kinks but geez guys, they have been getting ready to open for 2 years now so it was surprising that so little effort was put into the food. I’ll be back to keep trying their beers but i will avoid the food next time.

Stopped in last night for a bite and drinks and was very pleased. The beer is awesome, had Zues Hammer and loved it- And Im not typically an IPA drinker. Food was solid. Even the cookies were great, like homemade. Took home a couple of 4-packs, and will definitely be back for that delicious beer.

Sloan was amazing… her upbeat attitude and overall knowledge of the beer was amazing. The beer was great and had a lot of flavor for a new brewery. I recommend anyone checking this place out. They also have a great Tuesday taco special for anyone looking for a deal.

In my opinion, best brewery in slo county- possibly best brewery in the state; however, I have not been to all the breweries in California yet.Amazing place to hang out with friends.Fantastic Beer, delicious seltzers (especially Pink Flamingo [best seltzer I have ever tasted]), and scrumptious food!They have wine too, if you’re not a fan of the bubbles!

Great variety of true to style beers backed up by locally grown hops. Dogs welcome on the patio. Enough food choices to keep you from getting completely crocked. Walkable from the hotel strip if you intend to go big. Slick modern venue. Tyler makes it all work.

Havent been to the actual brewery but met the owners and had the beer. The brown is pretty good, whatever IPA I had was god awful. We sat next to the owners and the dude was pretty rude. Then his kid showed up and since we were in a spot he would have liked to sit in ruined his day. Calm down kid, nobody has ever seen your beer outside of city limits.

Awesome brewery with a nice chill vibe. They only have one TV screen (one of the main reasons we like it so much) because its not overly loud with sports like most breweries and bars. Great place to actually enjoy each others company over a beer! My wife likes their cocktails also. The food is really good too!

Best beers in San Luis Obispo!! I don’t think a lot of people understand how impressive and special it is for a small family owned brewery to grow their own local hops and produce wet hop beers! The space is incredibly clean and well kept, the service is great, and the beers are fresh, quality, and have great range! Anyone could find a beer they like here!

The taproom is very nice, comfy, lots of natural light.Beer is…. Okay. Got two flights, really only liked the pale ale. Beer seemed.. sweet? Seltzers were way to sweet to drink.It is also expensive… two flights (4 oz pours), $20 each. New brewery, people want to try it out. I felt punished for choosing that instead of a pint (same, 16 oz and half the cost).Walked out of there spending over $50.It’s a nice place, and I hope they make it. But the beer is meh (they have a lot of choices maybe scale it back and hone it better?) and the prices are crazy high - I know rent is expensive downtown, but I see the college/service industry crowd being priced-out and heading to BHBC instead.

Always excited to try a new food or beverage establishment in SLO so we were looking forward to Antigua opening their doors. It didnt dissapoint. It is an absolutely beautiful space, with high ceilings, lots of bright light and a breezy, open air feel. Perfect spot to sit and people watch while while enjoying a beer flight. Husband and I particularly liked the Botanical and the Hazy Baby brews. I appreciate the family run aspect and we found the staff to be friendly and attentive. We had recently eaten lunch so we just had an appetizer. Highly recommend the green chili queso, SO good!!

Pricing and portions make no sense. $10 for 8 pretzel bites, but $14 for 25 calamari strips?? We were there on a Friday evening and it was nearly empty while the NBA playoff was happening and they didn’t even have the tv on. So many small tweaks they could make to increase their atmosphere, really feels like a missed opportunity.

In a town full of good breweries that i love we were pleased to drop in for a large flight last night. Found a cozy couch and enjoyed some tasty beers. I liked the ipa’s but my favorite of the night was the Porter. Only negative was the wine pour my wife got seemed light considering price. Look forward to coming back and trying ghe food.

My wife and I met up after work and decided to try the place out. They were closed for an event called Flight Night, which required $35 tickets for the 6-8pm event. BEER - FOOD - MUSIC the advertisement promised. We paid $70 and sat at the bar.The music was just out of their speakers. They turned it down by 6:10 to a barely audible level.The food was french fries and pretzel bites, but only brought to a few tables in the middle despite the entire place being closed for the event and people sat around all over. There were no side plates. No food brought to us at the bar. Did they expect us to stand around and all eat off the same plates? I dont get it.The beer, well we dont know. We left after 35 minutes of waiting for something to happen, barely even being acknowledged by the owner despite sitting at the bar right in front of her. We asked if we could order food, but she said no theyd only be bringing out the food on the event menu to a few tables. No water was served, no beer was served. Everyone in the place was awkwardly staring at the french fries getting cold, wondering when wed be tasting beer at this $35 beer event.We left at 6:35 after literally nothing had happened and went to Finneys down the street, who actually acknowledged us when we sat at the bar, and even served us food and beer! Imagine...EDIT: and the owner gaslights us for not understanding the event in their response. Yikes... I mean yeah if youd advertised that wed be sitting around for 35 minutes with no acknowledgement of our existence we probably would have skipped it. Sorry for misunderstanding...FYI I work for a local winery, and at our events we hand guests glasses of wine upon arrival and actually talk to them. I wont be back, and Ill recommend winery guests and friends go elsewhere.

Greats tasting beer and food and a good selection from Lager to Porter!! Full of flavor without the heavy feeling of drinking traditional IPAs . Every beer they serve is made from hops grown in SLO! Bambi the owner came by our the table multiple times to check on us and share her stories of the business, the process of making their signature beers, home grown hops and peppercorn!!. Great experience!!Highly recommend!!

We finally got to try Antigua Brewing Company! Great beers, yummy pub nosh, and a beautiful, open, clean, new looking space right in the heart of downtown SLO. A wonderful family-run vibe. The IPAs are fresh, they grow their own hops, no bitter bombs here. PSA: Try the hush puppies and Bambis chocolate chip cookies, OMG!!
