The rates they quoted were really competitive and the rep I spoke with was really friendly and apologetic; however, this seems to be a case where you get (OR DONT GET) what you pay for, or maybe I just had bad luck. Either way, the cost savings was not worth the effort in trying to get the policy set up.I spent over an hour on the phone with an agent, took payment, then claimed that the underwriting company was having issues and could not process my policy.I also directly called the insurance companywho was responsible for underwriting my policy (SafeCo) to confirm if the transaction would post. They said sorry we processed your payment, but because you dont have a policy# we cannot help you. Talk to AnswerFinancial.Its probably a blessing in disguise I am not insured here; I cannot imagine having to go through a claim if its this hard just getting a policy set up.

Unfortunately I used these guys for a new auto insurance policy. The policy is fine but I received a letter saying they are sharing, or selling, my information with pretty much everyone. This was never mentioned. I would cancel if I could. Dont deal with answer financial. Update, I am getting text message phishing scams daily.

Terrible! I usually do not leave reviews but after the disrespectful customer service representative, felt it should be shared. I was provided their contact information by Chase for insurance coverage in my area. This customer service agent was rude, talking over me, had no carriers that would issue a policy, and became arrogant when I attempted to ask questions. Save yourself the time if Chase is having you call them!

I inquired about an insurance quote today. The first one I received was an absolute ripoff, with premiums 50% higher than any other company, whether large or small. When I asked for an email containing the full policy breakdown, the representative informed me that they would only send the portion detailing premium costs. I persisted and requested the complete policy breakdown, but she refused and continued to pressure me, much like a poor salesperson. She kept saying, When youre ready, we accept Visa or Mastercard. It was evident that she was solely focused on meeting her quota and rushing the customer out the door. This is a terrible business model and another reason why companies are transitioning to digital processes, rendering these positions obsolete.

I needed to share about my experience with Ms. Martiz- she was amazing. From my first initial phone call to the last, she was pleasant, friendly, knowledgable and willing to go the extra mile to find the best policy for my situation. She followed up when needed and was great at maintaining communication. If the rest of the staff are like her- I would recommend Answer Financial to everyone...at the least, I would recommend her.

Incredibly rude, needs to learn some customer service skills.A friend of mine put me on the phone with an agent here because I needed to change my auto insurance. Ive been in customer service myself for 38 years and there are ways to say things better unoffensive. I am a widowed person who also recently lost her job and so I need a new auto insurance and when the person on the phone asked me how much I was paying for my previous insurance and I told him he said, and I quote, and you couldnt afford that? Basically insinuating that Im some kind of hello income Pond scum. You should have heard the tone in his voice. There are other ways to word that question. He repeated himself twice after that. At that point I said thank you for your time and hung up on him. When I attempted to call the company to file my complaint over the phone I couldnt reach anyone so here I am, on Google, leaving a negative review.

I used to work for them until I got tired of being treated like a sheep. They constantly change the compensation plan to benefit them, the employees are the ones that suffer. At first working there was okay I worked from home, which was nice and all but they hold that over your head. If you dont meet their ridiculous quota then back to the office where the parking structure is jam packed (and you pay for parking too). This place has a big turn over with employees, they are constantly hiring because people are dropping like flies. I hope they change how they do business, this place has a bad reputation.

I would not buy anything from any of these sales agents .. they will tell you what they want to hear vs what actually happens...I had called to get an auto policy and was told that the insurance provided could not guarantee the rate unless I get renters insurance ..The agent told me that I would be billed quarterly.. come to find out I was being charged and billed monthly for the AMT her told me..Answer financial agreed to do a flat cancel and come to find out that the insurance provider did not honor that ...These guys are not the real deal .. stay away from them... They are horrible ... I would suggest going to another third party ...

Terrible customer service. Employed high pressure sales tax while using a rude tone. The very next company I went with found me similar coverage for about 2/3 the cost and did so in a kind and understanding tone. 0 out of 10 I strongly recommend you go elsewhere.

I worked at Answer Financial as an IT tech for 6 years . This company has an interesting culture, and I think its existence is a net positive for the surrounding communities. It has a culture of innovation and hard work, led by this super-nice guy, Rob Slingerland. I dont recommend looking for an IT job there, as its very a tough environment with a grueling work schedule. Nor do I recommend working there as an agent - thats even tougher. Insurance industry profit margins are razor thin for brokers like this, as anybody with experience working in the industry can tell you. A company like AFI must do a lot to stay afloat and pay its employees, let alone prosper and flourish. But if youre looking for any other position, including in the areas of programming and web development, I definitely recommend this place. This company is fortunate enough to have some really good, dedicated and talented developers, and, as I said, the company is always innovating and trying to be better at what they do and staying ahead of the competition.Ive also been a customer and I have remained a customer for the past ten years. They got me a very good deal on my car insurance with 21st, and even a better one for my home through Safeco. Safeco is an EXCELLENT company when it comes to home insurance.Not everyone fits the same pedigree when comes to shopping for an insurance policy; you might just not be in the right market for this company and the carriers that it represents, but a lot also depends on the knowledge and the dedication of your sales agent. I recommend female employees over males. Women are just more caring and detail-oriented than men, and my agent was also a woman. Just as with every other product, keep shopping around for auto/home insurance. And if youre looking for a place to work, give this company a try, it might just work out well for you.

My advice? It will pay the bills while you work here but I say just use it to get your P&C licensing paid for and cut out while its good. Lots of other companies out there that will pay higher incentives/commission for doing a lot less work as far as insurance goes.A few very simplistic changes would make this a more enriching workplace. First off, change the compensation structure and up incentives for agents. In a workplace such as this SALES is king. Everyone else is either sales support staff or on the sidelines.Answer Financial does a fantastic job of confusing their priorities as far as what is important and whats not. Its almost as though there is this impotent effort to inflate and validate the importance of non-sales personnel.Incentives could easily be increased; cut down on QA staff (last year company still lost over 118,000 dollars or more in waste, agent errors and ommissions).QA is too busy focusing on agents that put effort into their job to avoid legal calamities, while deceptive and morally ambiguous agents are costing the company tens of thousands of dollars on an annual basis.Secondly; cut out outbound and put agents on auto dialer for direct response during wait time, because if i can convert an outbound transfer lead with a customer that has no idea why they are talking to me, then the outbound team is just siphoning more commission and more money. Cut out the middle man and commissions would not be so bottlenecked.Lastly; there is no clearer way to state this but keep meetings to a minimum. Lots of valuable time spent that could be used getting sales in useless meetings, tech issues for chat videos for hours on end to basically watch an hour long presentation that has nothing to with sales whatsoever but in fact a very convoluted way of teaching employees to click this buttonSales is king. Sales needs to be king. Sales is all that matters. Stop siphoning off incentives and watering down commission, and its not very clever or strategic to have QA involved in commissions.Paying several people on a team at 30k or more a year to tack off a few bucks here and there (even top agents still get their audit scores worked down due to negligent QA that cant listen to an entire call) is not very sound business wise.QAs job needs to consists of1. Are they breaking the law? (refer to ACTUAL insurance regs, not AFI pencil pusher guidelines)2. Are they lying to the customer?3. Did this costs the company money to get this business?Thats it. Simple. If sales was number 1 priority here, it would actually be a much better place to work.Sales is KING especially when your company expends $10,000+ per employee for training and licensing and average turnover tops out 30 percent or more, especially when the insurance industry is as tough a market as it is now. Answer financial needs to simplify its overladen bereaucracy to1) Sales Agents.2)Sales support staff3) Necessary day to day staff such as HR, IT and reception.If you are not sales, you are second, third or last priority. If you dont make the company money, then shutup and support the sales staff.I can make more money doing a lot less work at my current position than I ever could at Answer Financial. Sales needs to be first priority. Sure you got a few quarterbacks with the existing status quo but quarterbacks aint going to run the company; imagine if every 1 in 3 could be a quarterback; simply prop up sales, make SALES number 1 and everything else will fall into place.Stop making excuses to screw with agent commissions, trim the corners and cut the fat and this company will run itself. Thats my advice. I mean, Im not the one who is tens of thousands of dollars short because of how i run my company.

I have done work at AF and employees were very kind and helpful . Cant speak on their service but the people and conduct were very professional, have no problems with them ; And would actually consider AF if I did need their services .

Agent said I was buying a 12 month policy, but I ended up getting a 6 month policy only! Bait and switch that created a huge inconvenience. Luckily I noticed and had to call again to get a new policy. So I currently have 2 car insurance policies and waiting on a call back and refund.

Not a friendly place; started a policy, info was wrong, after they grabbed the payment they REFUSED to correct the mistakes THEY MADE. We had to call the carrier, and were on hold for over a half hour. Not a good experience.

I SIGNED UP WITH THIS COMPANY ON JAN 3 2020 THEY TOOK MY DOWN PAYMENT SAME DAY OF $ 306.23 THEN I LOOK A 2 WEEKS LATER THEY TOOK DEBIT MY ACCOUNT FOR A PAYMENT MORE THIS TIME OF $312.15 MIND TELL I HAVE NOT BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY A FULL MONTH TO BE TAKING TWO A THREE PAYMENTS A MONTH I WAS ABLE TO DISPUTE THE LAST PAYMENT THAT WAS TOTALLY UN AUTHORIZEDNOW THIS COMPANY AND INFINITY WANTS TO CANCEL MY POLICY ON THE 8 th OF FEB MIND TELL YOU I HAVE NOT BEEN WITH THESE COMPANIES ONE MONTH AND THEY ALREADY TAKEN TREE PAYMENTS ONE WAS CREDIT BACK FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS PLEASE CHECK YOUR BANK YOU WILL SEE THE CROOKS DOING

Read the print on what you sign, they charge you a ridiculous amount to find low cost companies. You still end up not getting the best quote anyway. Shop yourself.
