Before working with Ann, we worked with several agents for about 2 years and couldnt close on a home. We were in India when we started looking for a house with Ann! In 15 days, we were in contract. Ann was able to negotiate a good deal for us. She helped us in making a decision and finally closing on the home. She was on top of everything throughout the transaction and also found contractors for us to get work done and also monitored it while we were out of the country. We are happy in our new home(All thanks to Ann!).

Ann helped us close our new primary home. Ann is extremely professional, thorough, very responsive, extremely organized, diligent and very pleasant to work with. She used to send us new houses that came on the market every week based on our requirements, discussed the details on call or in-person and then visited all the houses with us. She is very flexible, made sure to work around our busy schedules and was always available to answer questions. She even arranged for us to do private viewings in addition to open houses. While closing our new home with her we did not have to worry about any paperwork or meeting the deadlines. She was always on top of everything and paid attention to even the smallest of details. From inspections to loan paperwork, Ann guided us every step of the way and made this is a smooth process. She is always very resourceful, always has great recommendations ranging from insurance agents to loan agents and contractors. I would highly recommend Ann!

Being first time home buyers in the Bay area we came into the market not knowing much. After speaking to a few real estate agents we decided to partner with Ann for our first home purchase because she was professional, prompt with her responses and very helpful in giving us the full overview of the market. She laid out the steps of buying a home and how we could be best prepared to be successful. Our journey to close on a home was fairly long because the housing market has been crazy but Ann was there throughout our journey proving us guidance with patience and understanding. She remained extremely prompt, profession and always on top of everything before, during and after showings which helped a lot as we were looking at houses and putting in offers. We had a super efficient journey of buying our home with Ann.She works tirelessly for her clients and is extremely focused on getting things done. She was very reachable over text as well as phone, and was always in touch with us.Once we had narrowed down on the home we liked, she moved very fast and helped our offer win with her communication and negotiation skills, despite our offer not being the highest offer. She met us at the home on closing day to give us our keys.She walked us through the disclosures, did a final home inspection with us, and helped communicate with the seller. What really stood our for us was her knowledge about the bay area market, the entire buying-selling process, clarity and directness in comms, ethics, professionalism, and above all, her energy and commitment to get the right home for her clients.Ann helped us understand what makes a good home and shared information such as the bidding process, how to get our finances right, list to sell price ratios by areas, how best to use real estate websites, why homes are priced the way they are in certain locations etc. All this information helped narrow down our criteria and prepared us well to enter the market.Ann has a solid network - Almost every seller agent we met in our buying process knew Ann, and assured that we were in safe hands. We had a superb home buying experience thanks to Ann! We had heard horror stories of people searching for their homes for years, but I must say thanks to Ann our home-buying experience was a complete breeze and very far from those horror stories.Initially, Ann would come with us on open houses. Here we found the insights from Ann very helpful! She would do a thorough walkthrough of the home and show us details that we wouldnt have noticed otherwise. She also would go above and beyond and in each home tour and establish a good rapport with each of the seller agents.Ann was also very helpful in guiding our home search journey. Initially, we were looking very broadly across many areas, and Ann helped us narrow down our search to a few key areas so that we arent stretching ourselves too thin. This was really helpful since that allowed us to set very precise filter criteria on our searches.Overall, we ended up having to bid on *only* two homes! I must say this was all thanks to Ann! She showed excellent negotiation skills, and helped us place a winning bid against multiple competitors, some with even all cash offers. Ann made our first time home buying process a lot smoother than we anticipated. She walked us through the entire process at the beginning and helped us narrow down our exact requirements. She has great knowledge of the Fremont area and helped us narrow down the areas we should be looking at, based on our budget and requirements.Ann went out of her way to find us good deals for back on market properties / jumpstart for properties that were coming soon. When we started looking to buy SFH in the bay area, we had very little knowledge of what to expect in the process and we had not even narrowed down specific area. Fortunately, we met Ann based on the recommendations from several colleagues.Ann’s decades of experience in the Bay area real estate market, complete dedication to help find/close the right home timely, strong connections with others in the real estate market and very transparent work process helped us close in this competitive market.On the very first meeting, Ann drove us around various areas of Fremont, explaining pros/cons of different areas, types of homes, neighborhoods, schools etc. This really helped us understand various dimensions that we should be thinking about (beyond just the type of home and school) and helped us realize what we like/dislike.Visiting open houses during Pandemic would have been very stressful. A five star rating does not come close to telling the full story about Ann Gupta. When my beloved aunt died, I became responsible for selling her home. I was daunted by the prospect of managing substantial repairs and improvements from a distance (three hour round trip), during the pandemic and shelter-in-place. Anns enthusiasm, compassion, knowledge and confidence at our first meeting impressed me so much that I abandoned a plan to interview several agents before deciding whom to engage. My initial impression was confirmed, time and time again. Ann was an outstanding communicator and tireless worker. She marshaled work crews and licensed contractors who completed necessary work, at a fair price, within a seemingly impossible time frame. Ann was on-site, often daily, providing photos and videos of work in progress. Ann knew my aunts neighborhood like the palm of her hand, as well as what would attract (or discourage) prospective buyers in that neighborhood, enabling her to make informed, reasonable and spot-on recommendations regarding home improvements and listing price. She also exhibited sensitivity regarding my emotional connection to the home. While this was not a prerequisite to my selection of an agent, it made the entire process less fraught. I marvel at Anns generosity with her time and attention, and the extent to which she was accessible and responsive. The demands of Anns job were compounded by COVID-19 precautions and protocols, but Ann remained unflappable, letting nothing stand in the way of effective staging, outstanding marketing, many showings, and --ultimately--multiple, over-listing-price offers. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Ann is amazing. We are first time home buyers and she is exactly everything we were looking for. She is a teacher at heart so she has no problem explaining anything to you. My wife and I had A LOT of questions and she answered all of them within minutes of asking via text or email. She has great communication skills, advocates on behalf of us throughout the whole process and will be ON TOP of everything. She has even gone through paperwork and verified a few things that we didnt think of asking about. I cannot express enough how much Im so happy we chose her.We closed on a house in Union City 7/29 and throughout the process she put us in touch with all of her network for us to shop around for pricing of Home insurance, renovations, flooring, etc. She encourages you to get the best price, negotiates hard (but with a smile so you dont come off as a difficult buyer/seller), will tell you whether something should be considered a deal breaker (a house too close to a busy street or in back of a freeway) and will care about your life. Ann helped us to buy or home in Bay area. We really appreciated that she was particular about being COVID safe since we used to tour the open houses with our toddler. I have known for the last 15 years that Ann Gupta was the ONLY agent to sell our family home in Mission Valley. With my father being in an Assisted Living Center during COVID and me living 2-½ hours away, I was not sure how we would get the task accomplished. I couldnt believe how responsive she was to all of our requests and questions, and was awesome in guiding us through the entire process of buying a home. She inspected my home for 30 minutes during her introduction visit and checked each corner to make sure everything is ready for selling.
