2024-05-08 06:38:06Fantastic small movie theater. Its got hard alcohol on display at the food court area and the trash cans are giant popcorn bags. Each theater room is very small, its so small it almost feels like a private theater. The seats are also very comfortable and have motorized reclining backs + leg rests. Tickets are also very reasonable and Tuesdays are 50% off.

2024-02-07 06:08:30We love to go here on Tuesdays for half off tickets. We order our tickets online and pick our seats. The price comes out to around $9 per ticket for the early shows! If you are able to go to the early shows, you get a free coffee or tea before the movie starts. And after the movie, present your ticket at the counter to get 50% off your food order.Their burgers are delicious too. They come with fries and we chose the parmesan truffle fries. The reclining seats are big and comfortable here. No lumps or rips. Theres a swivel table at each seat with a cup holder.

2024-02-26 18:13:21Angelika Film Center & Café provided an enjoyable cinematic experience when we visited on a quiet Sunday morning for a 10 am show. The theater was peacefully empty, creating a relaxed atmosphere for our movie viewing. I reserved the tickets through the app and also signed up for the rewards program, a move that might prove financially rewarding in the long run.The cleanliness and organization of the place were immediately noticeable. The décor, adorned with throwback and vintage movie posters featuring iconic actors, added a touch of nostalgia to the ambiance. It became a fun pre-movie activity for us, trying to recognize the posters of films we had seen before. The staff at Angelika Film Center & Café were friendly. Although our interaction was minimal as we didnt purchase anything beyond tickets, they made the check-in process seamless. The theater itself was equipped with new and comfortably reclining chairs, enhancing our overall viewing experience. Its worth noting that the seats do not have heaters. The screen was a little smaller than other local theaters but wasn’t so relative to the overall experience. Also, the sound quality was really good in this theater!Summing up the visit, Angelika Film Center & Café left a positive impression as a clean, well-organized, and nostalgic theater. The promise of returning is certainly on the horizon, and the prospect of half-price tickets on Tuesdays is an enticing incentive. For those seeking a comfortable and enjoyable cinematic outing, Angelika Film Center & Café is a worthwhile destination.

2024-07-01 17:57:48I once considered this theater a great option for indie movies, cheap early morning showings and overall not a bad a theater. Fast forward to today there is no longer any even remotely cheap showings anymore, even the morning showings are now about $15! They were literally $5 before noon a couple years ago. This is not helping preventing pirating or people buying the movie for less at home. The food at this theater is expensive along with the drinks. I was baffled that my friend managed to spend $20 on a small glass of wine. The staff here are mostly kids and dont know how to make a cocktail if their live depended on it. The theater has become kind of dirty and run down. The center its in is always busy and the parking lot is always full. Overall avoid this terrible theater at this point.

2023-07-28 05:23:33I wished I lived closer to this place! Friendly, easy service at the front. We got tickets online and walked right in. There is outside seating in front of the theater and plenty of parking in the lot. You order food at the front and can bring it into the theater with you or eat it in the balcony lounge upstairs. Classic movies Line the walls all around this location and the lighting is awesome. The French fries were really good and their ranch and chipotle dip are out of sight!

2024-06-28 01:33:12Angelika has gone downhill as of the last few months. The confessions area was dirty with many items not available. The theater seats are very worn as the leather is cracked and torn. Overall a good little neighborhood theater which would be a very good theater with better management.

2022-11-20 02:47:10A definite experience. Decently priced tickets, half priced on Tuesdays for members. Membership sign up is free. Consessions are really nice. Full menu offering pizza, burgers, hot dogs, flavored fries and drinks. Also, offer an excellent bar selection. Theater seats are really comfy leather reclining with a swing arm table.

2022-05-08 19:19:13Awesome theater. Comfortable seating. Few dollars more than an AMC or Regal, but the seats/atmosphere are just worth it. Definitely a good spot to come if you plan to come see a movie on opening day or really any crowded day. Lots of food options…..they even have……COFFEE!!!! Just a superb atmosphere to see a movie in. Definitely coming back!!!

2018-01-04 07:08:44Nice theater where you can choose your seats. The seats are very comfortable, with built in automatic reclining. They do serve food and alcohol in lobby. There is outside seating with a fire pit. Staff seem to be hit or miss, some were very helpful others not so much. Overall a great experience.
