I called in the beginning of December to update the insured address on our renters insurance, and that update was never made. I called back today and was told that one of my policies (earthquake) had been cancelled and the other needed a payment to be made. I was told by Alejandra C. that I would have to make a payment and then in 24 hours call back to make the updates. When I became upset by this she told me she would make an exception and process payment as well as my requested updates and that I should be expecting an email requesting my signature within 24 hours. While I dont think that it should have taken me getting upset to receive this type of service, I do appreciate Alejandra and her assistance in resolving my issues.

I have dealt with this insurance office a few times over the past 10+ years with great results. On my most recent inquiry I had the pleasure of being helped by Ariel. She did an amazing job of explaining the options available when I was inquiring about adding my sixteen year old daughter to my policy. Im sure any parent of a teenaged driver will agree that the process can be nerve-wracking at times but Ariel made the whole ordeal as smooth as possible. When I called to update my coverage I thought everything was good to go after speaking with Alejandra. Then after reviewing my auto policy with the packet that was sent to me I found out that I didn’t have full coverage like I requested multiple times over the phone and from the documents I signed. I reached out to the office and Ariel was quick to research the issue and contact me and work with me to correct the issue. I was quick to want to switch to a different company but decided to give Allstate another try because Ariel had the patience to go over what happened and help me get the coverage I needed. I have been an Allstate customer for about 5 years now and i have never had any problems with them. Recently i had my landlord request renters insurance and i automatically knew i wanted to bundle with my existing auto insurance. I sent them an email and Laura automatically reached out to me and made the whole process super simple. I work 6 days a week and the same hours as their office and she made it all through text and email with just a call in between. She explained everything to me and answered any questions i had. Have messed up on my policy more than once. They mixed up my account with someone elses, forgot to update my new car, Horrible experiences. Only reason I stayed with them is because they are the cheapest because Ive had them so long. If you are shopping around I suggest you go somewhere else. Been having car and life insurances with Allstate for a minute. Never ran into any problems even after I filed two claims on the same car (damaged after stolen & rear ended by a texting driver while stopped). They were quick and efficient, dealing with the claims! Most physical work I did was drive the car at the body shop, and get myself to a rental place. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my car insurance with Allstate due to the fact that I can’t add my twin brother & his new car into my policy bc my name is not on the car. I was able to add him before because I co-signed his 2020 civic, but not anymore because I didn’t want my name on his new 2023 hatchback sport touring. Other merchants allowed it, so I jumped on it to save from the possible squeeze on having two separate policies. The transition was smooth, and both agents: Alejandra and Christina were understanding. They went over the difference between their policy and the new policy that I got for both my brother and I with honest opinion for today’s market. I am definitely keeping my life policy with allstate as they offer better numbers for cheaper compared to their competitors. This company is still a 5 star for me !

Had an issue with being charged for over a year for a vehicle that is no longer in my possession but in All States possession. Well this Downey office, did themselves a favor by continuing to charge me for over a year for insurance. I have tried multiple times to get help from this office and have been placed on hold, hung up on, laughed at, told its my fault, and transferred down the line to all the young unprofessional staff that work here. ENRIQUE TORRES is also a huge disappointment to this agency. Anyways called ALL STATE Company itself and had my issue RESOLVED and taken care of all under one person. Also made sure to report this specific office ran by Andy Fuentes.
