Shoppers beware. This store is selling white corn on the cob and its cattle feed corn!! This should never be sold to unknowing shoppers. It looked fine until I cooked it as normal and took 1 bite. Its straw and only meant for livestock feed.! Do not buy.

Awesome and a great ice cream selection. The lady that makes the balloons dolce shes awesome too and does great balloon bouquets. The butcher Luis went above and beyond to satisfy my requests. Typical high grcery store, clean, organized and aisles signs easy to read. Came here to find an item they didnt have. ☹️If the item comes back in stock will shop here again.Parking was easy but it was a weekday morning

Large choice of chips and a surprisingly nice wine and liquor section. Small, quiet, compact, but many offerings, including a hot and cold bar. Fresh bread selection, meats, organic fruits and vegetable offerings, personal hygiene, and frozen foods section. Cute little store with higher prices that reflects the boutique store ambiance that once occupied this location. Its rarely busy which means super quick service.

Definitely a nice supermarket considering its part of the Safeway family. The fruit was very fresh, the store was clean, and they had more specialty foods then a regular Safeway. The great thing is you still have Safeway prices.

Really amazing high-end grocery. It had failed and been taken over by Safeway, but resurrected by the community and restored to its original glory.It kind of has to be high end, given its location. They carry both La Brea and Acme bread, for example. The meat section is jaw-dropping.

This is my go to place for various breads and fresh produce. Their fruits especially are really fresh and good quality. They have a great selection in their florist section as well. An impressive array of cheeses as well.

Love this market! The folks who work there seem like neighbors. They smile, wave, and say hello when they see us. If my son isnt with me they ask about him. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.Also, they have the most amazing bakery! I often stop for treats to celebrate a colleagues birthday or other special event. Everyone is always so impressed, and they always ask me, Where did you get this?!I highly recommend this market!

Clean and very tidy. I think Safeway actually owns them as the shopping bags had Safeway logo on them. Prices are higher for the same products compared to other places but this is a nice clean market in Los Altos, so there is that. Was able to find some unique products that wasnt sold anywhere else in South Bay like Parks & Nosh bone broth soup. They had quite a few Jewish products on display as well (probably due to a Jewish holiday) and they have a larger Jewish product aselection than your average store.

So far this store has kept its neighborhood community feel and products are fresh. I will avoid the downtown Safeway and shop here as much as possible. I hope they can keep a high level of customer service as time goes on. Today while being checked out with just two items an employee interrupted my checker while he was helping me to have a form signed. My checker stopped helping me to attend to her need. Not so cool customer service by either of them. A few more seconds and my transaction would have been completed. Dont become downtown Safeway, please!!!

This store has a high-end yet small town community vibe. The deli and meat departments offer excellent customer service. Their employees look like they love what they do. The retail clerks however are grumpy most of the time. They treat customers like a burden - that needs to change.

Safeway is a decent store. I happen to like shopping there better than lucky. The deli is busy enough that the food there is fresh. The store is a bit small 4 a Safeway but they still have most everything that one would need.

Visited a friend living nearby on Independence Day weekend so dropped by this store to pick up some groceries before going home. Ladies at the checkout were very friendly. Store looks nice. But! I didn’t notice until today (7/6) that this bag of blueberry scone - I bought from this store on 7/4 - has an expiration day of 7/4. Even though I’ve put it in the fridge all this time - it’s gone moldy! 😓 gosh my 3 year old had one this morning without me noticing. Now I feel so worried and guilty. We don’t live close to this store so probably won’t go there to complain. Posting this review to remind others - even if the store looks fancy, always check the food expiration date yourself before buying!! (Plus, the clams I bought were also not fresh and smelly 👎)

Ordered our familys favorite sandwich here: chicken artichoke sandwich with Dutch crunch bread. IMO, its the best gourmet sandwich without gourmet price. And you get that from Safeway! Its really a little known secret. I prefer this to Specialty, for example.You also get to interact with the staffs who make your sandwich. And in this particular Safeway, the staffs were super friendly. Its a 4.5 star for the deli department here.

Exceptional customer care. My wife and I stopped by yesterday looking for an item that we had purchased a month ago. We couldnt find it, but on the way one of the employees asked what we were looking for and then went out his way to find it for us. Amazing. Normally right before closing nobody wants to help anyone.

A nice little safeway. Theyve got more fancy brands and interesting foods than usual supermarkets, also a great deli and meat counter. Less selection than most Safeways but you can find some more specialty items here. Nice alcohol selection too.

The community market used to be Andronico’s. Even though the name has changed but services there remain the same. Good services and selections - more so than regular Safeway.Deli section is a must visit. Extensive cheese and fruits selections too.

If you value first rate customer service, then shop at Andronicos. The staff we encountered were all happy to help and a pleasure to talk to. We also picked up a gigantic, post Thanksgiving, pumpkin pie for half price. And the wine selection has always been top notch. Andronicos is one of the few places left where shopping is a pleasure.

I like this Market. I am often in there to buy sandwiches or stop at there salad / Food Bar. I like the fact that Safeway has decided to make all the sandwiches with Boars Head meat. the selection of pre-made sandwiches is usually very good and there are a lot of other choices for grab-and-go food.

A good merger of botique Andronicos market with Safeway. One less star due to having only one checker during mid morning causing delayed shopping experience. Difficult parking lot. Much prefer Lucky market a mile south.Update..walked out yesterday without shopping. Poor support in deli and then zero help in bakery. Had to leave while dodging cars in horrible parking lot. Rating down to one star.

I ordered the vegan holiday dinner for Thanksgiving, and it was outstanding. Billed as a dinner for 2, it easily contained enough food for 3 or 4. A great alternative to a meat-based Thanksgiving.I go to Andronicos because, even tho they are a little pricey, they carry a number of products that the other stores I go to (Costco, Safeway, Trader Joes) do not carry--for example, fresh ginger, specialty flours, Amys vegan burgers, Alexia fries, French vermooth.The produce tends to be very variable in quality, so you have to shop carefully when buying fruits and vegetables--Draegers and Trader Joes have better produce in general.

Its March 14th and Im happy to report that Safeway Community Market in the Rancho Shopping Centre has kept most of its scrumptious deli-line (from Tonys Fine Foods in West Sacramento) as well as the entire, wonderful staff from Andronicos! You can still order high-quality turkeys and leg-of-lamb and have the deli roast them for you. The outstanding wines from Andronicos are still there as are some of the cakes including one gluten-free cake. The service is top drawer and the place is packed every day. In fact, theyre so busy, they have to bring in workers from other Safeway stores. Word obviously got out!
