2022-05-04 19:51:40Love this family owned and operated company! The packers were efficient and super nice. They paid close attention to some of my weird requests and they weren’t afraid to ask questions on how I wanted something done. We chatted about life the whole time and it really put my nervous self at ease. The paperwork was complete (but I helped them with some itemization) well. A few things were skipped during packing, but I definitely could have done a walk through before they left, so I take the blame on that. Great family, awesome customer service, military friendly.

2022-03-01 07:27:20This company is absolutely terrible. I understand not all of these issues fall upon the company, but a majority of them do, namely and arguably the most important parts: inventory of your items, and proper packaging and shipping of these items.First off, they missed my initial pick up date, causing me to not even be in country when they picked up my items due to a military move.Secondly, they did a very lazy and terrible job of inventory on my items, if you can even call it that. MULTIPLE of my items were not ever put on the list, some that arrived, some that didnt. They also never cared to ensure that i, the actual OWNER of the items, recieved a copy of the inventory list.My delivery deadline was also missed by over a month. Finally, upon delivery, around $4k worth of my items were COMPLETELY missing, some of which were computer items that were clearly broken and removed from my computer by an individual. I noted this immediately upon delivery and filed a claim. The claim company is now trying to say there is no proof, and since these items were not marked as high value, could only offer me 100$. (These items range from a 2000$ graphics card, down to a 300$ keyboard). There seems to be no real threshold for high value. Given the before and after pictures, it is blatantly obvious it was taken out by force. Multiple other items were broken, not packaged properly, or left exposed to the elements.Further, the claims adjuster, has done a lazy, terrible job at Investigating this claim. Asking me multiple times for pictures, and questions that were already stated and listed in my initial claim. I was offered ~300$ for around ~4k worth of missing items, even though it says missing items should be replaced at full cost, for a new item. This entire process with this company has been terrible. I will be escalating this issue further. After doing further research on this company, and talking to friends and coworkers, it seems this company has had individuals with an active warrant, uninsured vehicles, etc, try to get on base and being turned away.I would avoid this company. Unless you want to essentially pay a company and their employees while they are stealing and damaging your items.

2023-07-19 14:18:18Had a military move with them recently. Items were broken and all of my hanging clothes/uniforms they just stuffed in a box and are now wrinkles and need to be dry cleaned. For the parts box, they just put it in a box of tape and took me days to find where it was to set up my tables and furniture.

2019-07-22 01:52:16Worst experience. I hired this company to move my items 2 miles down the street. When I called, a lady begin answering a few questions over the phone. She explained how I could hire two men for 140$ per hr minimum of 3 hours or 3 men for 175$ per hr. I called 3 other companies with better ratings but they were booked so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I called the lady back and scheduled for July 18th and ordered the 2 men service. A few days before my scheduled appointment, I called the lady back I had a few questions regarding the size of their truck since that was never mentioned when I scheduled the appointment as no questions were asked. I told her the size of my house is 2000 square ft and that I wanted to make sure everything was going to fit I gave her some details of some the items. She said I had nothing to worry about as the truck is 26 ft long. Big moving truck. The day of the appointment 3 men showed up one that was not wearing any uniform. When I looked at the paperwork it said 2 men and the main guy said he needed extra help with his other jobs and not to worry. 40 minutes into the service the same lady who I believe her name is Nancy called me she wanted to charge me for 3 men because I didnt mention all the items I had. I couldnt believe this was happening. The guys already had more then half of my stuff in the truck. I was so confused. First of all, she never asked for any details of the items. Secondly, I didnt request for 3 men. She gave me an ultimatum; either I paid for the 3 men service or they would take everything out of the truck. I was in complete shock! Is this person on drugs?! You cant suddenly Flip the deal like that when your men are already in Action! I dont recommend this company at all! Worst experience ever! Next time Ill just go by what the Reviews say.

2020-09-04 15:37:30Original review:Lots of stuff broken in the move. Terrible customer experience. Take photos before and after. Beware!Reply to Anderson Van and Storage:I have your inspection report from the delivery to your storage facility. A chair (a designer recliner worth over $4000) was intact on delivery. I received it smashed; the solid steel pedestal base was a folded like a pancake. It is unsalvageable. This happened in your warehouse. From the photos I see you stack things high. This kind of damage could only happen if it had been dropped from a great distance.Hopefully future PCS movers will read this review and request a different carrier if they have been assigned Anderson Van & Storage.

2017-06-22 21:27:43This company is appalling. My first military move was conducted with this company and I can not tell you how awful my experience was. On the day of my pick up, they attempted once to contact me that morning and it was until I called later in the evening did I get to coordinate a pick up. I wasnt given a window for the pick up prior and the movers arrived extremely late.Subsequently when my belongings were to arrive at my first duty station, the delivery date was pushed back days later. It wasnt until a day before the delivery date I receive a call that my belongings were declared a catastrophic loss. Luckily one of my crates were found but the other is still somewhere out there with items that can never be replaced which in hind sight was an idiotic idea to pack but it breaks my heart to know that I trusted this company to get them to me safely and they failed...

2018-09-27 22:06:21If I could give zero stars, I would. So disappointed with a company that is suppose to be military friendly. Very rude employees who not only treated my husband and I poorly, but our belongings as well. Wrapping wall decor items in rugs? Seriously? Not wrapping up our box spring to which we were promised would be done “when we get to our warehouse”? Finding things that we asked specifically to be wrapped and packaged coming of the truck not up to par? We’re lucky our items weren’t damaged or lost! Not to mention your inventory sheet that you wouldn’t let us see until after you loaded everything up.. what’s the point if we can’t see what you wrote? You listed brand new items as scratched and damaged... items that were still in their original packaging; I’m glad we were able to spot your little trick quick! Oh and thanks for losing pieces to my bookshelf, after we asked you to wrap them in front of us, not at your warehouse. If your PCSing to or from VAFB, beware! Not a trustworthy or reputable company! Take pictures of all your items and document everything (like the pictures I took of my bedspring...)Request to TMO a different moving company if you can. This company is not worth a dime! Maybe it’s time that TMO contracts out a company who cares because I know we aren’t the first family to file a complaint.
