Brought a group of 10+ to AMF for a fun night with the coworkers. Christina, the Manager, was so kind and friendly and made sure we were all set up for our scheduled reservation. Marie, the bartender, was awesome and took care of our 21+ team members. Caley at the front had a big smile and was very welcoming. Will be back, thanks to those 3 being so fun and kind. Reserve your lane(s) ahead of time if you can! We had plans to meet people and had reserved space ahead of time, which was a huge help—the place was packed!The people that work here are super nice and helpful. There’s a great selection of bowling balls, the lanes are clean, and the music isn’t too loud. There are large screens playing live football games, and old and new movies on the wall above the pins. There is something for everyone.We will definitely go back.

Came in with friends to bowl a game or two. Place was empty but still took 10 mins for the staff of 10 plus people just standing around to finally help us. Basically told us we couldn’t bowl unless we purchased an expensive bundle for like 5 rounds of bowling. Staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I can see why this place is a ghost town. Left with a horrible first impression, will not be returning. I recommend Windsor bowling if you actually want to have some fun and bowl.

Had a great time for my sisters birthday here. Lots of lanes, food and fun with my family. Its clean and the staff are friendly and theres tons of parking out front. One of the few bowling alleys in Sonoma County, worth the drive wherever you are!

AMF Petaluma is an amazing experience. I have bowled 1000s of times at a bunch of bowling alleys and this place was hands down the best of the best! We did the superbowl package and it was totally worth it. Amber set us up and made the whole process easy. The lanes were smooth, there was plenty of balls and the environment was great. This place also has a badass bar with a pool table and a legit arcade. Christine was the manager and made our experience a 10/10. Valerie was the bartender and was slanging drinks with a smile. Place is run great and it was clean and organized. Cant say enough good things about AMF in Petaluma! Thanks yall.

The atmosphere was great, the staff however was not. Most staff we came across had attitudes. When we left, my wife let a staff member know that it was flooded in the women’s bathroom, the one by the pool tables. The staff member gets snippy and tells my wife i know! No wet floor sign or out of order sign. We won’t be going back.

The bowling experience itself was good. Getting a lane was a problem. Visiting from out of town, we decided to take a group for a game with a couple hours notice. We tried calling to check on availability but got a voice mail telling us to come on in.We arrived to a lone cashier working with a group ahead of us. Once she was done, she asked if we were on the waiting list, which we werent. She was using a post-it note to track names but never took ours. Two or three groups were invited ahead of us. After at least thirty minutes, and some persistence on our part, we were allowed in.The alley was clearly understaffed. Only one bartender, one cashier, and we saw two others working the floor or delivering drinks. For a 40 lane alley it seemed light. Like I said, the bowling experience was very good, although staff never retrieved a ramp for a disabled member of our party. We shared with another lane, which wasnt optimal. We eventually gave up and he bowled without.

Came here Saturday at 6:20 PM. Asked for prices for 2 children and 3 adults. The workers said $10 each then as we’re talking a man who is slightly bald comes and says we no longer do those prices. It will be $30 each for bowling in a lane and for games 10 credits. We asked if it’s for the kids too and was told yep. Then told it was $27 without games. There was multiple groups of young adults buying alcohol etc but I feel like we were discriminated and tried to be up selled because we were a family with young kids and wouldn’t profit them as much. Also how can a worker not know the new prices halfway through the day? They also didn’t have these new prices labeled ANYWHERE. I will not be returning to this establishment. Especially because I just had gone bowling with a group of my girlfriends and was only charged the $10 the previous Friday by another worker at this establishment.

This place has massively improved. Still some minor things. But they are irrelevant to the whole remodel. Accommodations for parties are great.Gets a little bit hot in there since were bowling. But I assume that AC repair is part of the remodel as well. Nonetheless. I enjoyed my time here.

I havent been bowling in years, but I went with three other friends and we had a blast playing three games (theyve got a deal on Sundays) followed by some air hockey and skeeball at their arcade.One of the skeeball machines wasnt reading our card, but other than that it was fantastic. Everyone was super helpful and the whole vibe was really enjoyable. Will definitely be going back to play more regularly!

If youre going on a Saturday, go before 6pm. Went after and it was jam packed! Not to mention the price goes up (after 6pm). Its fine for what it is. Nothing fancy. You can order food when you initially reserve your lane, which I recommend. Youll be sorry if you wait later (in a long line).

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!They take your money! Oh and the unprofessional owner mentioned she is going to be taking over the Rohnert park bowling alley also!She was very unprofessional we gave a $70 tip for her employees that were kind and she said” $70 is a big tip for my employees they don’t deserve it”! That rubbed us the wrong way coming out of a managers mouth! Then she ended up charge more than what was agreed!Be prepared to pay an additional $140 for a lane when your time limit is up and if your kid throws a bowling ball you will be charged $140 for not even playing a game just a ball being thrown down! Thinking it was timed we wouldn’t be charged! They don’t care they come up with extra charges! I wished I could give this a 0 star! This place is a major red flag and should be turned in! I will be going to 7 on your side since it shows in these reviews this isn’t her first rodeo! She scams innocent people! I will never ever go back!

I have done a lot of bowling, and AMF is the best experience I’ve had. The building was clean. The food was wonderful and the service was fast. Valerie, the bartender, was experienced and served us wonderful drinks with a smile. The staff were OUTSTANDING and kind. The manager, Christine, was incredibly personable. I had an amazing time. We had a reservation but my friend was running late and the arcade on site was an amazing way to wait. The manager on duty (Chris was her name?) was extremely flexible with my friend running late and easily pushed back the reservation. Food was good (especially the boneless chicken wings) and beer was extremely fairly priced. The bartender (Valery?) was friendly and helpful. I wasn’t planning on going bowling again while I am In town but I had such a good time that we are returning later next week.

Showed up on a Sunday 30 minutes before they opened. Manager said they werent ready yet but the arcade was open so my sons and I (6 and 3) played in the arcade for half an hour. At 12 we were told there was no space for us but we could come back at 2pm and there would be lots of lanes available. We came back at 2 and were told there was a wait list and they could take our number and call us when a lane was available. I received a call at around 6 pm.I spent $25 on their arcade, was not told about the wait list until the second time I tried to visit. Never received anything resembling an apology. I guess the lesson is dont come unless you have a reservation.

This place hasnt been worked on since it was built lanes are not flat ball moves once it hits bumps its impossible almost to get a spare with one pin left ball will shift to right or left once its almost to pin. Almost $10 a game we came from Rohnert park because our bowling alley had 2hr wait it was so busy. I know all the staff 5/5 and come here regularly (8x/M) the foods good 3/5 the arcade is kid friendly 4/5 and pool tables are heavily worn but still playable on 2/5. The manager on a Friday night a few weeks ago made us feel bad because we had a Groupon. It was a deal for 2 people but there were 3 of us. She rudely interrupted the cashier (who wasnt doing anything wrong) and made sure that we knew our 3rd person would have to pay full price. She said it as if it was SO expensive that we shouldnt even bother!! It was very offputting. Her energy rubs people the wrong way and it cant be good for employee morale.Other than that, this is a place that offers it all. Bowling, arcade, billiards, food & a full bar. They have special pricing on certain days of the week for bowling, billiards and drinks.

I purchased 2 Groupons for this venue. The first one we used with no issue. The bowling alley was fairly slow that day so we had a lot of lanes to choose from. Staff was great, got us everything we needed.The second one they were very busy on a weekend afternoon. We were told there were no lanes, which there were. After I asked for another person to help we were able to use the Groupon. It seemed the counter person was having a hard day, possibly overwhelmed with the number of patrons at that time. We got to our lane, the rails were up. We asked 2 times for them to put them down, without help. Our first game was done, we had to ask again. The employee came around the counter (seemed to be irritated with us) kicked the rail down with their foot and walked away....I suppose we could have done that, had we known that was the trick.Overall, I recommend the venue for bowling. I dont recommend getting food, but drinks were okay. Maybe plan to go on a weekday for better service.

This alley is outdated, overpriced and not even working properly. I took my family here on a Sunday, $7+ per person per game for outdated lanes where we had 5+ malfunctions in 8 games. The staff is friendly and food came out quick. The location is awkward and not easily accessible. I doubt I’ll come back. There are better bowling alleys in the north bay.

This Bowling Center is just off the 101 freeway. From the south take the South Petaluma exit into Petaluma. Just past the roundabout, drive to the stop light. Look to your left and you will see the Bowling Center. From the north take the same exit off of 101.Bowlero Company now owns the former AMF Boulevard Lanes. They are planning several upgrades that will be phased in over time. Be sure to book your lanes ahead, as there are several leagues that use the lanes. Now that San Rafael has no bowling lanes, this is the closets without having to cross a bridge.

Only 1 worker there, you can only order drinks through the worker, vending machine costs $3.25 and only takes singles also doesnt give change back, arcade has some good games but its $1 for 2 tokens and average game is 5-6 tokens but the overall bowling experience is fun except the bumpers dont go up and down so you have to get a separate lane for whoever is using them.

Great place to go if you dont care about being super competitive. Balls always seem to be super slippery. No bowling powder sold, so bring your own. Sliding price scale based on day. Night bowling starts around 8-9 on Fridays. If youre particular about your ball, theyre hard to find on Friday/Saturday nights. Staff is amazing.

Maybe came on a off day. My son had a birthday with six kids my wife Grouponed. The First comment I heard was An employee talking to a manager with annoyances that there still doing groupon. We were given one lane when there was approximately 20 lanes open. We asked for a second but were denied our request due to what a Groupon would pay for. Annoying when the general manager couldn’t bend policy to use common sense but, ok policy is policy. (Not a good first impression). Then customer service was consistently absent when waiting for help at the main counter through out bowling over 15 min. (2nd impression not the greatest). The groupon was for two hours. We were in the 9th frame of our second game when the computer stopped working. I asked the main counter what was going on and they said, “sorry the groupon ends after 2 hours”. I asked could we finish our last frame? I was received by a apathetic response of “sorry no”. I spent over 80 dollars with food and bowling and walked away with a bad taste in my mouth. Could have been a off day, but I am walking away with the intention to never patronize there establishment again. I very much regret spending so much money on such a frustrating experience.

AMF Boulevard Lanes is awesome. Its pretty updated for a bowling alley these days. They semi-recently added a ton of video and table games and of course they serve your typical bowling alley/diner fare that you can have delivered to the your lane or there is a small sit down diner. They have a full bar that has bar access near the lanes on one side of the alley. I usually go on friday or Saturday nights when I go and its more crowded and more expensive but if you just love to bowl weekdays in the afternoon they have deals and its never crowded. On the weekends its $7.00 a game and $4.00 for shoes. They have disco lights and music from 8 until 1 am also which can be fun.

Worst bowling experience ever, joined a league with my work. Ordered food at the start of the first game and it did not come out till the end of my 3rd game and I was already leaving. Ball return broke and they did not have enough lanes open to move us, so we just left and I already had a Turkey on the board. =(

AMF is a great place to go bowling in Sonoma County. They have a bar, eatery, shoe and ball rentals along with numerous daily discounts/specials. I recommend stopping by Petalumas AMF Bowling Center if you are in the area and looking for something fun to do during the day or night.

AMF made a big mistake selling AMF Boulevard Lanes. This same CO, took over the San Francisco triple A league in Shreveport Louisiana and the league and then the league went to wherever. Maybe we need someone with enough money and drive to make it work for the Bowlers,and not an amusement park . I challenge all Bowlers and associated members to stand up for us.
