This has been the best place for both our boys. Other locations dont have the same level of instructors, showing great patience while demanding the best of the student. Their flexibility in allowing for modified instruction due to the variability of life has been a boon to us in helping our son to earn his black belt.

The instructors, Senseis, and Shihan are kind, patient, and helpful. I look forward to going to class each week with my daughter. The class sizes are good and the facility is large enough to where people can be easily divided by skill level into the multiple rooms.Its also helping me to get into shape, and very good for my daughters confidence (she just made brown belt).They are very good at working with YOUR skill level and physical capability, so dont worry if youre out of shape (I am) or not as flexible as you used to be.

As a working mom with two boys, this studio has been such a great support for after school, school breaks, and helped tremendously with discipline and self confidence with our 6yo. He was very nervous at first about karate (he cried at the very first class!) but the instructors were both encouraging and tough to challenge him to get out of his comfort zone and participate. He also has some social challenges and this was one of the first camp programs that my son felt included and welcome. The “karate bus” pickup drivers and staff for the after school program are SO good with the kids. Mrs Block and Mr Douglas make managing so many kids look easy! Thank you to the entire staff from EV’s mom!

My girls love this place! Both my girls are in the Black Belt Club and Love it. They enjoy every aspect of the program. They look forward to going to practice and seeing there friends. They practice at home together and look forward to competitions. After gaining full custody of my kids my first step was to get them into a great Karate school. I needed them in a positive, fun and caring environment that would help me mold my girls into being awesome individuals. They are doing a great job!

My 3 year old daughter loves her Karate Class. The instructors are really friendly and knows how to work with kids. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun after school activity.

We started off with the Summer Karate Camp and it was a great fit for my active boys ages 5 and 7. Theyve learned so much from the excellent staff at AMA and have developed strength and balance over the past several months. We are now doing the after school program and its great! Pick up, homework/play time, and karate class. Its a perfect day for them! Highly recommend this studio!

This place is amazing! my son came home from school and said “ the real ninjas was at school mom” 😂 we tried out a free class and never looked back, My son Miguel is 6 y/o and in a black belt club, he has made friends and he is focused and really want to do well in both karate and school. He is proud of his accomplishment and this place is helping him reach his full potential not only in karate but in life. we are glad we found this place. and we highly recommend this place.

AMAA is the only option for top notch kids karate. Family owned and family oriented. Full time instructors that are great at what they do, and a very generous student to instructor ratio.My 7 year old daughter has been attending the after school program for several months and weve signed her up for the rest of the school year (THEY PICK HER UP FROM SCHOOL AND HELP HER WITH HER HOMEWORK!). Weve also signed her up for the summer camp program, and we are even having her 8th birthday party there in a couple weeks.My daughter is doing very well there and is very excited to be attending. She gets her homework done there before class and we have seen great improvement. She has also become much more independent.They teach all the traditional Karate fundamentals, morals, and ethics needed for good child development.We are super pleased and feel that its well worth it, a true investment for our daughters future.

American Martial Arts Academy is the premier karate studio in Orange County, if not the world!! This studio is a family-oriented-owned-operated facility that has over & over established themselves as the best place to be families looking for fitness, fun, and after school programs.We have been students of AMAA-Fullerton for over 7 years, my three kids ages 14 (black belt), 10 (brown belt), and 6 (yellow belt) are all enrolled as well as my wife and myself. This place is fantastic, and very different from your average establishment... The staff all represent the same message of integrity, honesty, and respect. The training is well organized, easy to start, and easy to jump back in at any point after taking a break of days (or even years). They will even pickup your kids from school, take them to the studio, have them do home work and karate class, then have them ready to go home when you pick them up... One stop shop even summer camps and weekend parents night out sessions throughout the year. Cant say enough positive things about these guys! Come try a free class anytime!!Cheers!
