Currently a 3L student here at AIL. I am so glad that I decided to transfer here after completing my first year of law school somewhere else. Mel Morrison is so incredibly helpful. He is always available to help if you have any questions. The system couldnt be easier to navigate. The class structure is the best. Other schools should take a page from AIL. As opposed to balancing multiple classes and subjects at once, you get to focus on one class and subject at a time while still finishing in 4 years. Lastly, THE PRICE; unbeatable. Especially for the quality of instruction. Overall, I am greatly pleased with my experience here at the American Institute of Law. 👩🏾‍💼👩🏾‍⚖️✨️

Despite being a mother of four and pregnant with two children during law school, I graduated, passed the State Bar, and became an attorney in California. Completing law school amidst pregnancy and raising my children made the journey even more significant. Professor Green stands out as the best professor Ive ever had. I cannot even begin to express how happy I am with AIL and the help I have received from Mel Morrison. After passing the FYLSE and completing my 2L at another school I needed a change. Within minutes of filling out the information form on the AIL website I was contacted by Mel who walked me through the steps I needed to take in order to enroll. Once accepted and enrolled what I found was excellent teaching and a great online classroom portal, far exceeding what you would expect for the price. In a perfect world I’d love to be sitting in a real classroom with fellow classmates and a teacher. However, with the demands of life that is not always possible and AIL is allowing me to achieve my dream of being a lawyer for a great price in a manner that fits in with my schedule. I cannot recommend AIL enough.

Mel has been tremendous in the whole process of administration and helping prospective law students. The website of their law school was easy to navigate and really drew my attention was one of the reasons I decided to attend and put my application in because my mind kept going back to this law school and its unique website. Its my first year and I have learned so much. Learning the law and applying the law is key to doing well in law school and real life practice. This school has taught me so much within a year. I’m a busy professional and the program works for my busy lifestyle. I will say you’ll learn a lot.The first year is the hardest. I stopped, looked, listened.I STOPPED researching online law schools when that search intersected with American Institute of Law (AIL). And here is where I am.Why did I look? Because the welcoming webpage in form of design and organization resulted in me spending sufficient time looking around it. Fun and easy to navigate. The more I LOOKED, the more I was eager to know.Then I noticed a sample lecture to which I LISTENED. This sample lecture provided guidance of what to expect if I were to enroll.I can now affirm that my enrollment has thus far paid for itself in terms of a heightened motivation to learn rules of law and the excitement of practicing applying rules elements to real fact patterns.Not only is the support staff appreciated for their stellar work, but the faculty teach from their years of experience, and have been trained how to teach. Fruits of this how to are passed on to benefit students. They are here to serve. Usable templates are provided. Additionally, what helps is always keeping in mind that fact patterns are structured to signify legal issues the recognizing of which achieves law school success.Interacting with other law students is an added value to the overall experience at AIL. Classes afford opportunity for students to ask questions for purposes of having what is being presented clarified, the opportunity of which has the vicarious effect of helping other students listening as well. I first started attending the American Institute of Law in 2020 thats when I met Mel. When I called to inquire about the school Mel was the one who talked with me and introduced me to the school and how it worked. He took the time to answer all my questions and returned my calls while I was still deciding if it were for me.I decided to attend the school and the whole time I was enrolled Mel was always available to me if I needed to talk to him. He went out of his way to constantly motivate all the students by emailing motivation tips and quotes of the day always encouraging us to do our best.If things got rough he was there to help you through. He checked on me when I was very sick and did what he could. I enjoyed my time at American Institute of Law and would highly recommend it. Professor Green was great the lessons were interesting and they always answered any and all questions during class if they came up.I especially like the fact that I was not forced to work in a group if I didnt want to. I also liked the idea that the lesson werevavailable to me if for some reason I could not attend class so I never missed out. I have attended other school and none of them matched the family feeling that comes from American Institute of Law. Great school, great curriculum easy to follow, great people!

About 4 years ago I decided that I wanted to attend law school. I researched various schools that were entirely online looking at tuition, quality of education I would receive, and the educators. After three weeks I decided to attend the American Institute of Law owned and operated by Mel Morrison.After speaking to Mr. Morrison discussing the questions I had about tuition, how an online law school operates in terms of lectures and homework assignments, potential cost of taking the baby bar and the general bar considering I live in Tampa, Florida and the test is administered in person in California. Mr. Morrison provided explanations for my question in a very caring way. I realized that for this administrator the important goal of his school was to provide a top-notch legal education at an affordable price with great professors leading the way.I started attending but due to health reasons had to put law school off for a few years. I resumed my legal education in the spring of 2023. I am extremely glad I did. The professors care about the student’s success and will provide all the resources needed. To be successful all the students must do is attend the lectures, study, and follow the directions provided by the professors and Mr. Morrison.

To simply put it, this school is absolutely outstanding! If youre interested in becoming a lawyer, you cannot beat the quality of education you will receive here. All of the professors are very thorough and give you the information you need in order to pass and become a successful future lawyer. Ive personally been to a brick and mortar law school and the professors there unfortunately are not as direct and thorough as the professors are here. The staff is absolutely incredible too! Ive had the incredible opportunity to work alongside with Mr. Mel Morrison (Vice President & Director of Admissions) to start my enrollment into law school after being let down by my first experience with the brick-and-mortar school I attended, and he is simply the best! He is so supportive, thoughtful and understanding. He has been there for me through some of my toughest times and has always encouraged me to never lose focus on obtaining my Juris Doctoral Degree. If it wasnt for him, I would not currently be a 2L student working towards 3L. I can never thank Mr. Mel Morrison or the intelligent Professors at American Institute of Law enough for helping me get to where I am at now. The flexibility of being online is beyond helpful too! Sometimes life just gets too hectic and busy, family emergencies, work, etc. Being a full-time father myself of 2 children, house full of pets, kids doing online school, etc., life sometimes gets in the way of trying to find a sitter for the kids in order to try to drive to school to attend class. All you need is an internet connection, phone, tablet, computer and you can log in to class at home and make sure your family is still safe and good. Or you can even attend class during a family vacation so you can stay up to date and on top of everything! Otherwise, you can always watch the lectures any other day of the week. The online factor is such a huge life saver and money saver for my family! This school is truly beyond such a blessing! I been joining AIL since September 2016. Professor Green’s passion of teach had made my education so easy and fun. Attending live lectures and going back to the archives had made my learning experience less complicated. Mr. Morrison is a very professional and caring person. Choosing AIL as my Law school has been the best decision Ive made in terms of which distance law school I would attend. Professor Green is not only just a practicing attorney that just so happens to teach law courses, he has the experience of knowing what to study as a former bar exam grader, what it takes for you to master the subjects, and firmly establishes upon you the skills needed for you to think like an attorney should think. As a husband and father; there is nothing more important than taking care of my family. Having the ability to have a flexible school schedule makes the dream of becoming a lawyer a reality - something I could not do without out the help of AIL. The academic delivery is probably the most important aspect - I am able to download lectures and review them over and over again. This is the school you attend if you want to learn the law. They teach the subject matter in an organized fashion, not like a traditional law school. They really care about you as a person, and will go above and beyond if you have a situation that needs attention. I was able to pass the first year law exam after being enrolled in a school with these professors. The assignments and lessons are all done in a concise and predictable manner, and you can study at your own pace. So much better than having to go to live classes. All I can say is try it and I know you will be satisfied and successful.

Im in my first year with AIL after deciding it was time to level up and become a licensed attorney. My work life has been primarily centered around the legal field assisting attorneys with post-judgment asset locating/skiptracing, and Ive always had a desire to practice law myself but with family life balanced with work efforts - it can be a tough thing to accomplish. Fortunately, I found AIL which allows for flexibility in the field of study that greatly compliments my lifestyle. The technology employed by the school allows for a immersed experience carried out at your own pace. They have a wonderful online system that serves as the hub for your learning and allows collaborative conversation with the students and staff. Their responsiveness to questions far exceeds my expectation and likely is more than you would get from a brick and mortar environment. Its clear the goal is to prep us for the FYLSE and the General Bar, and from what Ive seen so far, these experienced attorneys will get me there. If you are self motivated, can discipline yourself, find yourself time and budget constrained, and have a goal of becoming a licensed attorney...I would highly suggest contacting AIL. American Institute of Law does provide a one-on-one training that is absent in other law schools. The Tuition is affordable, and I was also given a grant. The Support is excellent, and I really appreciate the self-pace environment as law course-work is loaded. Thank you AIL!
