AFN was great for our home purchasing experience. They made everything as smooth as possible giving us time to focus on our future home. Juan and the team were great throughout our home purchase experience! They were efficient, friendly and made the whole experience easy for us. They recommended Angie our realtor who not only found the perfect home for us, but was patient, listened to what our preference were and made sure to find a home with our must have item list. She went back and forth with the seller making sure we would have the best deal! We are truly blessed to have found this wonderful team and would recommend them to anyone wanting to have their home purchasing experience smooth and efficient. Best team ever!

Rodrigo made me feel that it was possible to get through the entire process of buying our first house. I had gone to several brokers before him and always gave up because the process felt impossible and very stressful. The way he conducted the whole process was incredible. Not only was Whitney there for me while I was financing with another company, She seamlessly walked me through their prices, and fees. Just having someone treat me like a human, with dignity and respect convinced me I was working with the wrong company and switched right over.Once I switched, I never had to wait on paperwork, and if I had a question, it was answered that day, even if she had to call after her own business hours. I would absolutely recommend doing business with them.

I absolutely do NOT recommend using this lending company. The closing date was rescheduled to a date of the lender’s choosing. The lender was not actually prepared to close on date or time given to us. I went out of my way to reserve a conference room for this matter on the campus where I work because I was not going to be able to take any time off that day. The lender was uncommunicative most of the days leading up to closing, and was still asking for more documents the day before we were supposed to be closing. My husband, my daughter, our realtor, our broker, and our attorney sat and waited in a conference room from 11 AM on 4/9 (the agreed upon closing date/time), to 7:45 PM waiting for all the parties to get themselves and their documents in order. Upon each check in, we were told 10 more minutes. Then at the last minute, we were told that the documents would have to go back to compliance because my middle initial was wrong on the paperwork. I had communicated via text on 3/7 as well as email on 3/18, that the middle initial was wrong on the documents and received a response via email, implying that it was known about previously. My husband lost an entire day of work (had to call out sick due to the absurd lack of communication that was so last minute), my 8 month old daughter was kept waiting so long that my husband had to leave our location and go to the store to get formula because there was no end in sight, and I was attempting to be present while at work myself. We closed on 4/9, and a day later on 4/10, I had to sign more documents in person (and take ADDITIONAL time out of my work day) because some pages needed to be printed on legal paper vs. letter paper and the bottoms were cut off (the spaces for signatures were all present and legible. Today, on 4/11, I am still receiving communication from the lender stating that I STILL need to sign more documents, due to someone not doing their due diligence. While people may say that closings do not go smoothly, we have been through the closing process before as homeowners and I can assure you that this is NOT an acceptable experience to have.

This program was meant to help First responders. The agent we had Kevin was unaware had poor communication of what needed to take place. Made a first time buyer likely never to share this program with anyone else. Kevin had no sense of urgency. Did not have clear communication. Shared false information with different agents. Told our realtor one thing seller another. We all had clear communication and caught the dishonesty right away. Played a huge part in our home being delayed passed what we had agreed on. Dropped the ball constantly and always shifted the focus and never took accountability. Wish the program would reconsider who they contract. Due to one agent like Kevin who showed no passion or care for they’re roll caused a huge loss of revenue in a competitive market. Would not recommend to any one I know.

I felt they were taking advantage of me on interest rates and closing costs. So I switched to American Financial. Not only was their customer service better.
