Great crew,Robert and his team installed my lift a year ago. Due to delays with the new boat it just arrived a few weeks ago and I was finally ready to use my one year old new boat lift! The lift had some small adjustments to be made and Robert sent a team up to make sure everything was adjusted right the day after I called him even though the boat was a year late. Great guy and will for sure make sure your taken care of for life. For someone that is OCD about cleaning the boat, the walk around lift can’t be beat.

Exceeded my expectations!Robert and his team were exceptional from start to finish. I called Robert on Saturday afternoon to get information on installing a boat lift at Cottonwood Cove Marina. After agreeing on a fair price he said he would try to have it installed by the end of the next weekend. Super happy with this company! About 2 years after I had my lift installed something broke and they immediately came out and repaired it under warranty. No questions asked. This lift has allowed us to hop on and off the boat without having to trailer it. With 2 kids it’s a heaven sent.

The work done reconfiguring the bunks, on our lift, to fit our new Tri-toon, was excellent. New narrower brackets were installed so our boat could fit in the slip. And a new middle bunk was installed. The work was spread over a long period of time but Robert stuck with the job and did everything he committed to from the start.

Robert was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. We called him to take a look at a very old, metal tank lift. He recommended a slightly used UL6600 for a great price as a replacement. Within a few days of meeting Robert, he had already removed our old lift and secured our boat. By the next weekend, the entire install was complete! I cant say enough nice things about him. The coolest part was he provided many videos and pictures throughout. We definitely recommend Robert and know who to call for all repairs or questions.

I cant say enough about Robert. I recently stayed at his cabin in Running Springs he has offered through airbnb. His A frame cabin is amazing. My wife and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary by staying a Saturday night away. We checked in at 2;30pm and spent the entire time enjoying the space he has created. The Iron frame deck he has built is very impressive. I spent a good amount of time on it starring into the trees and enjoying the air. Upon our return we found out we left my wifes makeup bag and a dress. Robert had it sent down the mountain with his specialty plasterer he has working on a basement space that looks like it to is going to be awesome!!! I can only imagine that he runs his business with the same care he put toward our one night stay at one of his projects.

Robert and his team are absolutely amazing. Not only did he respond to every single ridiculous text question I sent, he did so with amazing patience and grace. It took me 6+ months to finally decide on a lift and Robert IS the reason I felt comfortable doing so.The installation was smooth, painless and timely. Lake Arrowhead is known for flaky contractors so we expected this to be a long, slow process. Robert was all over it. We went from contract, to permit, to install in two weeks. I’ve never seen anything like it up here.Finally, the boat lift itself is incredible. I’m so happy with the quality of the product and professional install. Our boat had been taking a beating all summer and we started to see it impact the boat. We see the lift as an added insurance policy on the boat and a way to extend its life. We boat A LOT in the summer and this will ensure we can use the boat for a long, long time. In fact, I don’t see the cost as an expense, but rather an investment.

I have been with Robert for about 8 years now with our lift and boat. He was able to get a deal the first time and set everything up perfectly. As time went on and the salt water took its toll on the lift he made sure he was out quickly to take care of any maintenance needs. If you are looking to put your boat on a lift at your marina slip Robert and his crew at American Boat Lift are absolutely the way to go. Here’s my experience:In March 2020 I began thinking seriously to put our boat at Callville Bay Marina at Lake Mead. I was referred to Robert from a friend of mine in Lake Havasu City who recently had Robert do a lift for him there (who had a great experience). I contacted Robert for boat lift options and pricing and he was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable to align my boat specs to a perfect lift within my budgetary means. From there we had a plan but it hinged on the Marina authorization to install. Robert communicated with the marina administration at a high level and received authorization to come and install the lift for me at my slip. Originally we were planning on the first week of June 2020 for him to deliver and install the lift but he was able to expedite the install for me in the last week of May as I was moving homes and ideally hoped the boat be out at the lake before June 1. Again, Robert was incredible. He and his crew came out from southern CA to Vegas and executed a perfect install. He gave me a comprehensive tutorial of the entire lift system which made me feel very confident and knowledgeable around all aspects of the system. Robert is great at what he does and communicates with you in a very friendly manner at a very high level. If you want a boat lift, use Robert.

I did a lot of research deciding on which lift to buy and who to trust buying it from. Robert did a fantastic job building a 9000 lbs. lift for my Monterey. He took care of every detail professionally and in record time. I tend to be a perfectionist. Robert exceeded my expectations! At the time I was looking to purchase a lift for my Malibu ski boat, there were no marinas in Mission Bay (San Diego) that would allow modifications to their slips to install a hoist. Robert worked diligently with the dock master to explain how the UL2 did not require any holes, bolts or screws in the dock, just clamps. I was the first to have a lift in the entire bay, and paved the way for many more! The hoist was installed quickly and professionally and works as well today as it did the day it was installed 6 years ago. Highly recommended!

My previous lift had a leaky tank that required refilling every 3 weeks. This was troubling to me since I travel a lot. In January 2020 I contacted Robert to replace it. Since he refurbishes the lifts I had to wait about 3 months for mine to be completed. During the 3 months, he kept telling me it was coming, but I had to patient. There were at least 3 times when he said they were installing, but were not able to make it due to technical issues. However, once finally installed in April it is excellent. It is larger, more stable and no leaks this time.

Robert is amazing. Rarely do I fell comfortable handing over a large sum of money to someone. But not Robert. He’s honest. Does exactly what he says he will. He’s creative and solution oriented. We used or neighbor’s boat lift time get a tow rope off the onboard prop. I was so blown away by the lift. The kind neighbor gushed about Robert. I had to call him. We had been quoted egregious sums from other vendors. Robert explained his prices, process and immediately made us feel like we getting something of value. Not jus a bid. I was having trouble with my hydro hoist in Las Vegas. Having to pull it out of my slip and get it to a trailer ASAP, I got a recommendation to call a gentleman named Robert. I have never messed with a hoist other than lifting and lowering my boat. Not knowing who I am or where I was, he walked me through what to do on the phone, and asked me to send him a couple of pictures. The tips he gave me saved me from completely ruining and probably sinking my hoist. Not only did he give me very quick yet thorough tips, he actually called me back more than twice throughout the day to see how it was going and checking on me. Hands down the best customer service I’ve ever had. The fact he took time out of his day to help me out and actually thought to call me back on his own to see how it was going means a lot and is very much appreciated. 100% recommended by me and my family that’s for sure! Robert did an OK job on my lift issues until about 6 months when I gave him about $4000 and was to get an upgraded lift. Now, 6 months later, he has removed my control box, hoses, and my lift. I have contacted him about 20 times with an occasional answer but no progress. He has stolen my property and failed to replace my lift as was our contract. I called the mfr, Hydrohoist, and they are very familiar with Robert and have a record of many Southern California customers who have been defrauded. Call Hydrohoist factory in Oklahoma for details and talk to their Western Regional Sales Manager, Rob, for more details. Do not think that you will get your project completed or that you will even have the product you had since that may disappear. This man is a thief.

We bought the orginal hydrohoist in 2015 from him when we docked at SeaWorld Marina in San Diego. Recently, it took some time to arrange our move from SeaWorld Marina in San Diego to our new home at Saguaro Lake in the Tonto National Park Forest in Mesa, Arizona as apparently there was an issue with the original trailer. He ended up renting a trailer for the move plus on the way to Arizona he had 2 flat tires!. He had our hoist on one trailer with another driver and drove our SeaRay on another. He drove up from California to Arizona on one day and then with his excellent work skills installed everything in one day! It is nice to also purchase from a business that has been in business for many years and is there for its customers year after year.!
