We had an amazing dining experience here. Go for this hot, hygienic, tasty and authentic Indian food presented by friendly and efficient staff in pleasant and cozy ambience. The interiors are great and immaculately maintained. The bar is well stocked and their cocktails are awesome. Ample parking space is available. The place is easy to locate and reach. I strongly recommend this place for family dining. Will visit again for sure.

Have been going to this place since it’s opened. Pretty large capacity with variety of options. Overall mildly spiced with decent quality catering to locals and repeat customers. Found service rushed always and some of them could be well trained. Considering few to none options in the area, this restaurant still holds well with their offerings.First time tried avocado samosa chat, highly recommend,

Just as great as the Aptos location!Was in the area and decided to try this particular location; the food and service were just as good as the Aptos location. A little birdie also told me there will be one coming to Los Gatos as well, so I’m super excited about that.Not much to say other than this place is SOOOO good, but I’m not shocked. If you don’t like Indian food, this place will make you change your mind. Anything and everything is good!No hard liquor but they do offer wine and beer.Parking is easy; they have their own stand-alone lot.Some of the dishes you must try are: Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Mixed Grill, Chana Masala and Raita (yogurt sauce). Of course, the usual naan and saffron rice to use as a vehicle….We ordered all this for two and had plenty for dinner the next night. This place is definitely better for a larger party (family style) but can always take leftovers to go like we did.Didn’t get our server’s name but he was very friendly and attentive.

We ordered takeout online. Food was amazing! (And we eat Indian food often). Ordered the half tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, rice and two mango lassis. Both chicken dishes were cooked perfectly, moist, tender with amazing flavor. The portions were really generous. Two of us couldn’t finish everything and we tried! The mango lassis were the perfect level of sweet and smooth, AND cold which isn’t easy. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick, staff was polite and professional. I asked for paper plates and plasticware bc we were staying at a hotel and they were very accommodating. Would definitely eat here again!

Fast, friendly service. Everything we tried was tasty. Their “hot” spice level is no joke. We were sweating! A bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Lots of veggie options (apparently vegan options as well which we didn’t even notice)!

My partner and I are regular diners at Ambrosia. The staff is very attentive, and the food is delicious! We usually get the Vegetarian Thali which.a sampler of several vegetarian dishes, plus appetizer and dessert. It is reasonably priced and a great portion size for the two of us. We are so happy to have Ambrosia as a staple in the neighborhood.

We have been going to Ambrosia for take out since they opened. First, the food was mixed quality but the service was great. Sam made sure any problem was addressed. However, lately we have experienced more inconsistency not only in food, but also in quality of service. The last order of Mushroom Masala was so spicy, we could not eat it. When I called the restaurant, I was basically told that I was wrong and that the food was made mild and that I can bring it back and they can make it milder... After years of eating Indian cuisine, I know the difference between mild, medium and hot and I was not about to drive for miles to have them fix the dish. I tried to reach out to Sam (the owner) but no call back. I am sorry to say, we will not be coming back.

Came here on a Wednesday night for my mother’s birthday dinner. Definitely pricey ($140 bill for 3), and ask to speak to a manager if you have any food restrictions, but good food. Loved the lamb trio and the okra fish.The samosa avocado Chaat was like a deconstructed samosa with lots of fresh avocado and a yogurt sauce. Tasty.Service, wise kind of disappointing for such an expensive place. They didn’t offer anything special for a birthday dinner and unfortunately we had a misunderstanding with our order.My husband hates cilantro and we asked for cilantro on the side (also said he was allergic). But every item of our food came covered or included with cilantro, even after we tried another 2 times to clarify after our starter arrived sprinkler with it.So a tip if you have food restrictions to be super clear, maybe try “no whatever at all ” or I’d recommend to ask to maybe speak to a manager when you’re ordering?
