My husband and I worked with Allen and the Ambrosia team for lighting our wedding venue and video. My husband and I were married at the beautiful Japanese Garden in CSULB (go Beach)! Allen met with us and was very helpful in determining which services they offer would work best for our budget and venue. Ambrosia has a lot of experience working at the Japanese Garden and lit up our entire venue so beautifully. With their lighting our venue looked like something out of a fairytale…it was truly magical. We received so many compliments too!Also, our videographer Andrew worked great with our photographer (hired before we found out Ambrosia offers photo services as well). During the video edit phase they ask what songs we would like and how the flow of the video we envisioned looked like. We explained our input but ran into a few miss edits for unknown reasons. When we explained this to the Ambrosia team, they were kind and patient enough to work with us to create an amazing wedding video from start to finish! They did not stop working till we were satisfied and that meant the world to us! We recommend Ambrosia for their variety of services, dedication, affordability, and kindness. Booked for:Day of Wedding CoordinatorDjHair & makeupPhotographerWe came across Ambrosia because we were in need of a Day of Wedding Coordinator. If we didnt have one, our venue was going to charge us more. Were we happy to find out that Ambrosia was pretty much a one stop shop for all our wedding needs. And an excellent one at that. Turns out Ambrosia would be the source for our photographer, hair and make up, day of coordinator, and our DJ. We had shopped around many bridal shows and needed to find a photographer who could capture light and dark skin tones together. When we met with Allen and Jina to figure out our needs, they were patient, fun, and attentive. They made sure we understood what Ambrosia could offer and there was no pressure to book, because Ambrosia Event Services sells itself. We were sold when Allen said they typically have couples do a practice photoshoot before your engagement shoot. There they will teach to how to stand and pose, so that your wedding photos will look more comfortable. Wow! Such attention to detail! Walter, our photographer, was Amazing! He was professional, funny, took beautiful shots, and captured exactly what we asked. He also threw in some surprise shots as well. For the wedding, we worked with Walter and Andrew, and having two photographers allowed us to capture almost every moment possible. Khaye, did my wifes hair and makeup. She did a practice run as promised a few days before the wedding and was really kind and attentive. My wife looked very natural and gorgeous. We had a death in our family weeks before our wedding and the venue kept changing our walkthrough day. Ambrosia was completely understanding and did everything they could to make all appointments with our venue. Due to the death in our family, we werent able to meet extensively with DJ Jose, but we spoke on the phone often, and he was able to get all of our requested music and kept the party fun and light. Lastly, Amanda and Ashley stepped in as our Day of Coordinators and it seemed like they had been with us throughout the whole two years of planning. They were absolutely AMAZING! The entire day went off without an issue. They were able to connect with our videographers, decorating staff, and chefs to ensure that we had the most beautiful and fun day. Words cannot express how thankful we are to have found Ambrosia. Even if youre like me and have everything together, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that Ambrosia can add something to your special day that you never knew you needed.Brianna & Lydia12.15.18

I recently worked with Ambrosia Event Services to decorate my backyard for a socially-distanced birthday party for my daughter this past Halloween. It was a smallish event so wasnt sure if I should use a service but I am SO GLAD I did!!! They transformed our yard into a festive and fun setting with the most creative and high-quality decorations - my favorite being the wine barrel tables! They were super convenient to work with, as well as affordable. Honestly, their decorations made the event more memorable and fun. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!!!!

I had my Wedding On Sept 22nd 2018. Allen helped me for months, prior to my big day, and his help through everything made me help so much less stressed! Walter and his partner who photographed our day was amazing! They got every angle we wanted, my first looks photos are my favorite! Since our wedding was during the day, he made sure to capture pictures of my husband and i at sunset! Our day coordinator, Becka was an absolute blessing! She made sure everything was how i wanted, she even took the time out her day before my wedding to meet me at the venue! (She didn’t have to do that)! My Florist, Amanda made my flowers beautiful. Our DJ, was amazing, he played all the songs i wanted, had the guests laughing and even stayed a little longer then what he was supposed to because we were having such a great time dancing! Our videoaugrapher was good, but we are just waiting of our final cut of our video! All in all our day was perfect, with the perfect staff!! I would absolutely recommend Ambrosia for any one of my friends!!

For my daughters wedding at Japanese Garden we used Ambrosia for makeup, photography and videography. Michael coordinated everything and had incredible patience and attention to detail. The makeup turned out gorgeous on all of the ladies - everyone was just beautiful!! The photos and video are due in a couple of weeks and given how they set up the shots and the candid moments they caught, were expecting them to be awesome as well!! I highly recommend Ambrosia - you wont be sorry!!

I dont think a better wedding team exists. Wow. Our wedding reception was held at the Earl Burns Japanese Garden in Long Beach. We discovered Ambrosia through the advertisement of a special package they offered through our venue. My husband and I were not keen on seeking out and coordinating individual vendors, so this seemed like the perfect solution. Not only was it the perfect solution for those couples that do not want to loose their marbles with planning stress, not only was the package an incredible deal, but we believe we got the best of all best, most talented, most kind, professionals at our wedding. Each and every member of the Ambrosia team treated us like we were their family getting married. The photographers went above and beyond to get what we wanted (my friends have pictures of them perched in the bushes leaning over a pond to get a shot), and made us feel completely at easy (an accomplishment for a very awkward-in-front-of-the-camera person like myself). The videographer, Andrew, has stealth super powers. We havent seen our photos and video yet, but we are so excited for the final product! The makeup artist, Khaye, blew both my mom and me away with her incredible talent, intuition, and professionalism --- seriously - we have never felt more beautiful in our lives. The DJ, Jose, was such a fun and comfortable person, with great MC and DJ skills. We met him the day of the wedding, and instantly felt at ease. If anyone is going to turn a Canvas tent into a raving club, it is him! Last but certainly not least, Allen!!!! We had been talking and meeting with Allen, the Ambrosia Event Support Specialist, from the beginning. Allen went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, at ease, and happy. By the time our wedding came around, I felt like I wanted Allen at our wedding as a guest, not just as a professional. From our meetings to set up our contract, to our practice photo sessions, to our wedding, Allen was a joy to work with. If you want a team of talented professionals at your wedding, who take your special day as seriously as if it were their own, then dont look any farther. We used Ambrosia for our wedding back in Sept. 23, 2017. Allen and his team really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we envisioned and more.. we got a package deal which was a great price and saved us the hassle of getting multiple vendors. They will happily customize your package to accommodate your needs. We got our photo/video as well as DJ, makeup & hair & even lighting for our venue.. makeup & hair were amazing khaye knew exactly the look I wanted to go for & she did exactly that. Walter & Michael did a great job with photos and video.. they even offer workshops for people that are camera shy so that they can learn to get more comfortable for the big day.. I dont know of any other company that offers that.. our dj was amazing, he even stayed extra since we were having so much fun.. I definitely reccomend Ambrosia for any event. They are very friendly and really get to know their clients on a pesosnal level which I love.. I will definitely use them again.

Our wedding took place on December 10, 2016 & Ambrosias team was amazing ! So if youre looking for a wonderful team to capture & help you on your special day go to them you wont regret it ! We got a wedding package that included an engagement session which was awesome because Walter the photographer is soo good he has a passion for photography & it helps a lot to get to know some tips so you can be more prepared on your wedding day. It also included a coordinator which was so sweet Kaithleen Im so grateful for her because thanks to her we had a smooth schedule that day & were able to stay on top of bouquet toss, father-daughter dance, cake cutting, etc. Dj Tracey is truly the best Dj I have ever met he is really good always has a smile makes you feel like youve know him for years. Special thanks to Allen & his wonderful team We would do this all over again with them. Thank you Allen, Walter, Andrew, Kaithleen,& Tracey .

I had a great experience with Ambrosia event services. Michael and his team were very attentive and efficient throughout the day of our event. They were calling for a chance of bad weather and the team showed up with equipment prepared for rain or shine. The photos and time lapse video were great and I would definitely recommend them.
