Called to ask about the R10 carbon helmet & ETA and was greeted with a snotty attitude and a reply of I dont, I just work here. I asked if they didnt anticipate the helmet being so successful and if this will happen with their next shipment? He didnt know. Perhaps know your inventory, know how your production works and plan ahead. Maybe dont take it personal when someone inquires about an item and asks valid questions. You know it ships worldwide and you know its a helmet that will be ordered heavily. I dont know....maybe order more via production???

Came in because my new Tech Air 5 refused to update, helped me update and made sure it worked in less than 10 minutes. Amazing customer service, and clean office. Also, check out the awesome GG Retrofutz bodywork race Yamaha R3 they ran at Laguna Seca this year.

What used to be my favorite company, is no more... First off, I read a bunch of reviews that there venture xt pants were a lot smaller then they say they are, this is true... But I needed new pants for an upcoming trip so I called alpine stars and the guy on the phone said Just order the bigger size also, free returns well what he did not tell me was they do not include return shipping which cost me $40... On top of that there website says (for these pants) Ready to be upgraded with Nucleon hip inserts. so I ordered those... At the same time of ordering the larger size I asked the guy on the phone to be sure they would fit, he assured me they would... Well guess what? They didnt even come close to fitting and once again had to be sent back and they told me on the phone this time No, they dont fit... you need the bioflex inserts Really? I am confident that alpine stars does not read these reviews so I am sure nothing will change. Bummer.

Sent my Tech 10s in for resoling. Cost $130 and took 3 weeks and they also included/installed new straps. Very good deal and good service. Good communication on their part. They ask for a picture of your boots first to make sure theyre not damaged elsewhere and worth resoling.

The place is only distributory of products. It does not have a retail store. It is a fact to take into account, since one searches in google said mark and points it as a point of sale.The truth is that I expected to have a place to buy the products of this excellent brand, a pity that does not count on this.

Alpinestars T-GP Plus R V3 air jacket, I decided to let everyone knows why not to buy this jacket: after 1 1/2 years, and the purchased of two of the same models, same issues with it; bad zippers, the Velcro on the sides, and the inside mesh. The inside waterproof zipper is the worst, gives you trouble closing and then stops working, the front zipper becomes hard to close and it constantly got problems with it, also the arm zippers by the wrist are also hard to close. The Velcro on the sides, poor quality, and the started to fall apart. The inside mesh, every time you take the jacket off, the mesh won’t return to the original place, like all mesh jackets supposed to do. The air flow is not that good . I reached out to the online vendor that I got the jacket from, and they did replace my first one, and offered me another return for the second one at no charge, I decided to keep and wear it out. Also I did sent an email to the manufacturer without any luck answering back to me. For the price $249, it is not worth it, do yourself a favor and buy a different one. Here is a very detailed and comprehensive review of Alpinestars. Mainly geared toward an online experience.The gear alpinestars sells for women is probably the most comfortable.Thats about it.I bought a pair of Alpinestars riding boots online through Revzilla last year, these boots were awesome, and I loved riding in them, until I realised, these boots had a major manufacturing defect.While riding in April of this year I noticed my foot was being smashed when I rode, thinking nothing of it until May when I got back from a road trip I felt the inside of the right (brake side) boot, I found that because of the poor manufacturing of this boot the seam between the reinforced shift pad (by the way doesnt need to be in this side since its the brake side) and the leather toe was cutting into the top of my foot, causing cuts on my right foot.I contacted alpinestars as well as Revzilla regarding this issue this month (June).Alpinestars immediately told me to email the warranty center, which I did. I was no longer under warranty because I missed the cut of date by about two weeks. The warranty representative never apologised for the defect and was very short, providing very little customer service, just stating send the boots back and you can exchange for In-store credit.I spoke to another costumer service representative, mike, over the phone, explained the situation. Mike said there was nothing he could do and to contact the warranty rep once again to get more info.Mike had no customer service skills, had this been a customer caused issue I could understand his attitude, but this was clearly a manufacturing issue.Alpinestars is not willing to take care of their customers, or be understanding when a customer says they dont want to buy another item from them when clearly the item was literally making them bleed.I loved these boots, and the look and feel of alpinestars gear, but now I will no longer consider Alpinestars in the future. Not only due to the possibility of a manufacturing issue, but mainly because alpinestars doesnt care about their customers, and they dont have any customer service skills. This customer service experience has been the worst I had ever had.

Customer Service is garbage, no help after dropping 600 on boots, there boots are garbage and trash quality, never had issues till recent, spend your money on fox racing or gaerne, GARBAGE
