We started using Alpha Mechanical about five years ago. They had been keeping my 21 year old furnace and AC going for as long as possible, but the day finally came. Complete replacement. It took about a week to get the unit we picked installed and we had two of the nicest techs working on the install, whick took two days. There were zero issues and they even helped fix some long standing issues with the AC location. We have separate ACs for upstairs and downstairs and the previous owners put them in a horrible location, that caused constant overheating during the summer. Alpha moved the new unit and added a 90 exhaust elbow to the upstairs unit to ensure they didnt choke each other out any longer. And probably the best part was that the install passed City inspection with no issues. Thanks Andrey and crew.

Andrey came out for an estimate to replace our HVAC and he did not do the can I come inside and give you the hard sell on why you should choose us of other companies. He came, he saw, discussed options with us, then emailed us quotes. The fact that he did not give us the hard sell helped us choose Alpha.On installation day he was there when the crane removed the old HVAC and lifted the new Heat Pump into position. His installation crew were professional and answered our questions. I dont write many reviews but definitely wanted to compliment Andrey and his team, and would definitely recommend Alpha Mechanical!

If youre looking to replace your HVAC system, I would recommend that you include Alpha Mechanical in your evaluation. I received several estimates and Alpha Mechanical was by far the most reasonably priced. Audrey was very responsive and answered all my questions. Pointed me to the correct HVAC replacement system and not one that was more than I needed. He started installation on the day he said he would and completed that day. I had actually fixed the problem myself but I didnt know how to finish up the job. Alpha mechanical came in verifed everything was correct on my furnace, reset it and it started working again. The technician was very friendly, helpful and didnt treat me like a total idiot for attempting the job myself. Im sure I will use their service again.

Even though I did not end up choosing Alpha Mechanical for my HVAC replacement project, I wanted to leave them a positive review. Andrey, from the initial meeting to delivering the quotes and then answering my follow-up questions, was top-notch in terms of his customer service attitude, responsiveness, scheduling, and thoughtfulness. He listened well, and provided me with a range of meaningful options to consider. He delivered his proposals one week ahead of the original schedule we discussed. I did the research and knew that we wanted to replace our old AC unit and gas furnace with a high efficiency heat pump system. I had met with several HVAC vendors before finding Alpha Mechanical and Andrey. The other vendors sent out salesmen to meet with me who really didnt understand heat pump systems at all. Andrey is a well educated engineer and he knew EVERYTHING about them. I feel we got a good price on our system though heat pumps cannot be described as a budget option. Andrey managed the process for us to obtain the hefty rebate from the state program which helped to lower the system cost for us overall. The unit is working superbly. Andrey and his crew are very professional, punctual, hard working and the kind of folks we were very comfortable to have working in our home. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs, not just heat pumps, but mark my word you will be hearing from a lot of people that they are switching to heat pumps over the next few years.

The installed a commercial heat pump for me two years ago when one of mine failed on my commercial building. They were fast and efficient, and less expensive than others. My second heat pump stopped working Monday so I called them mid day, they said they would be out Tuesday at 2:00. They texted me at 1:00, said they were 45 minutes away. They quickly diagnosed the system (the fan motor failed), found the part and gave me an estimate. They got the part over night, returned the next day, installed the part and we were back working again quickly. They are fast, friendly and know what they are doing, and less expensive - by a lot - over the other guys. I highly recommend them and I will use them again if needed.

We were not receiving any cool air conditioning into the house. I called and left a message and Andrey responded he was in the area and would stop by later. He was absolutely excellent he came here checked over our unit put in freon explained a bunch of things to us about temperature control when its over 100 and was very professional knowledgeable and a super nice guy. We will be using this contractor every year to come check our AC and heating at the beginning of the year so were good to go. I would highly recommend this wonderful company. We found out our AC was not working during this current unseasonably hot period. The next day we called Alpha Mechanical and Andre came out a few hours later and at the time he said he would arrive. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed our problem (a badly fabricated wire) using his detective skills. It wasn’t a normal or ordinary diagnosis, but he persevered and fixed the issue. We were very impressed and pleased with all aspects of his service call. We would highly recommend Alpha Mechanical. He was also patient as we discussed efficiency levels, rebate options, and financing. We finally agreed on a split system with a conventional furnace and air conditioner that managed the primary area of the home and a mini-split to address the master bedroom and both that solved some previous problems. Last month, our heater would not come on. Its a problem weve had occasionally over the years with our nearly 20-yr-old Trane. Alpha Mechanical had a technician here within 2 hours! He was very courteous and considerate. Of course, the heater decided to work when he arrived! But he stayed to test and make sure nothing was wrong. He had some good tips - sounds like our very dirty air filter may have been the issue. I was extremely impressed with their response time, helpfulness and good rates! When the time comes for another service call or (yikes!) a replacement, they are definitely getting our business again. Would HIGHLY recommend them!!

Our AC went out on a Sunday mid-morning on a day with a high temp of 111. I called eight different places. Andre at Alpha called me back and told me he be here in 30 minutes and he was! Alpha is out in Fair Oaks, but he came to my house in East Sacramento. He diagnosed our problem as a shot blower mower (made no attempt to oversell us on a new AC unit or anything shady like that). He came back on Monday (less than 24 hours later) with the new motor and installed it -- we didnt even have to be there. He crawled under the house, installed it, and sent us an invoice for LESS than the price he quote us because it took less time than expected. My sister in Fair Oaks also had a great experience with Alpha earlier this year. She gave me the referral, so glad she did! I would definitely call Alpha again.

Everyone we worked with was very professional and courteous, plus they have reasonable pricing compared with other companies. Our AC went out and another company came out and did a 5 minute diagnostic for $89 and then quoted us $20,000 for a new system. We got a second opinion from Alpha Mechanical who suggested we just replace the failing component instead of the entire unit. Even better, they came out on a holiday to get everything working again. Compared to our experience with other companies, they dont upsell and the pricing is fair. Our AC now runs better than it has in years.

In last year we used Alpha Mechanical twice. We live in fairly new home but our office during summer time is always much hotter than the rest of the rooms because we have computers that are working all the time. We were called Alpha Mechanical to consult what can be done. When Andrey @ Alpha Meachanical arrived he went to the attic and installed adapter on heating / ac until that gave more air flow to our office. Second time we called Alpha Mechanical to do service on our AC until that was outside. It need it more freon and Alpha Mechanical was able to stop at our home same day we called, so we really enjoyed promised service and their honesty.

Rescued us from the 100+ heat wave on the same day when our AC died!! Andrey was prompt, clearly knew his stuff as he worked his way through the troubleshooting of our system and identified the likely culprit. Had the part, explained that this should fix it but explained that sometimes things are not quite so simple. Proceeded to quickly replace the part, restarted the AC (Yeah!!!), inspected/assessed system and cleaned heat exchanger- suggested we plan on replacing the system in the coming years but to keep running it until it truly dies as it should last the season. Easy swipe for a quite reasonable charge for the service call, part and installation and cleaning, got invoice and receipt via email. After my heater quit working I called Clarke and Rush. They didn’t fix it and said I would probably need an entirely new unit since the fix would be so expensive...a new control board and another part, plus installation. And they couldn’t give me a quote for two days, despite my heater still not working.I saw Alpha’s reviews and called them. They arrived in less than 2 hours. David immediately diagnosed the problem, a clogged drain trap and a poorly installed drain pipe. These guys are wonderful! We had a new heating/ac system put in a couple of months ago. They switched out the gas heater for a heat pump so we got the SMUD $3000 rebate, moved the AC unit to the side of the house (all electrical work) so it wasnt on the patio anymore, moved the air intake to the ceiling in a standard size so I can actually buy filters at Lowes. They also added new ducting. Im so impressed with their work. Andre came out, climbed all over the attic, took measurements all over the place. Went back to the office and actually gave me a detailed quote. I have recommended them to everyone who asks.

Its the worst to get a AC failure when its a hundred degrees outside. I called Alpha Mechanical at 11:30 and they were there at 1! The tech got to work. He had the parts on hand to fix the problem and my AC was back to cool!
