This is by far one of the best hotel experiences. Dog friendly and the staff are incredible. They are bilingual and customer service friendly. The rooms are beautiful and modern. The amenities are very family oriented and has some tasty food. This is a great place to bring the family. I attended a wedding and coming back to the hotel was a relaxing transition.

I have stayed in many hotels in the area for business. Hands down the Aloft Mountain View provides me the best experience and the best price! The staff goes out of their way to be accommodating and friendly and they keep the rooms and all parts of the facility spotless. I’m in Mountain View often for work and I’ve tried the rest. This is the best! A sincere thank you to then staff for making my stays top knotch.

Pretty standard mid-tier hotel. A couple things could be improved. My first room had a bad smell but they moved me to another room. Also the prices on their menu for breakfast do not accurately reflect what they charge. Small things that could be fixed would make this a better stay.

Hotel was ok. Breakfast is not complimentary as most Marriott chains are .. The choices offered was not worth the money . It would be helpful to have someone speak English to answer any questions you might have .The room was a bit dated . The TV needs to be upgraded.Hotel needs a bit of work .

I hardly ever leave reviews but I felt I needed to for this stay. We stayed here as a baseball team for two nights and we could not ask for a better experience. Im not sure of the two Employees names that worked night shift on April 5th and 6th but they were amazing. Our boys and Dads had a great time in the lobby. It basically had all types of games for players and Dads to play. They checked on us multiple times if we needed anything. It truly was a cool experience for us all. Definitely would stay here again.

I stayed here a couple nights for work. It for sure feels like a here on business hotel. The room was nice, gym was a solid B. Didnt use the pool but it looked good. Bar was full of business travelers at night, restaurant on site. I asked for a microwave in my room and they brought me one for free. I ordered some fizzy water to my room on UberEass and they held it for me at the front desk. Only minus was I didnt get my wake up call the morning I left, and I had to be out the door at 4:15am. My phone went off, but still, thats a service you shouldnt need around with. Overall, a great place to sleep while you work

Everything is pretty good and standard at this Marriott property, except that they charge for parking. While that may not seem unreasonable, it is a suburban setting with tons of parking spots. Sadly, this feels like a nickle and dime strategy to increase profits and it makes me not want to stay at this or other Marriott properties.

I came here for a work trip and my room was perfect and quiet. I enjoyed the wonderful customer service from Chris and El Dora. They were kind enough to assist me with my questions and made my stay great. Look forward to staying here again.

I stay here every business trip to Mountain View. It only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because the prices are high, which meant I always get too close to the company limit. Generally a very good hotel with all the amenities you could want on a business trip.

Ive stayed at the Aloft Mountain View three times now and love this place. The location is convenient, Parking remains free (and safe), and the staff are stellar in their conduct and service. Gym is also good (could use some equipment maintenance) and breakfast is high quality. They generally do a great job treating elite members well (reviewing as a Titanium member).Our favorite staff member is Chris, who mans the front desk now and again and generally keeps the entire operation running. He goes above and beyond for guests consistently without compromising on his always positive attitude.So long as this Alofts pricing and service remain consistent, we look forward to maintaining this hotel as our SF Bay Area home base.

This place was kind of a mess. They don’t have ironing boards in the rooms. I also had to ask for a remote control because there wasn’t one in my room. They also ask you if you want housekeeping service when you check in, like you’re not paying for it.

Good location and clean rooms. I like the hardwood flooring! Makes it feel cleaner.Hair in the shower upon arrival and the safe didn’t work. It took three visits to the front desk and two calls to try and get the safe working. Started on that mission at 1630 on Saturday 8th July and I left the hotel for the airport at 1700 on 12th July. At that point the safe had still not been fixed despite being told it would be.Plastic cups (!) for coffee not replaced when the rooms were serviced so no option to use the coffee machine unless you wanted to brew coffee into your hands. Cream and sugar and coffee capsules were added tho - so helpful 🤦‍♀️

This was a bit of a surprise let down. The rooms felt like partially furnished college dorm rooms. Theres a bed. A desk. A chair. A light. No decor to make you feel at home. One towel. One face cloth. One bath mat. The bed was pretty creaky, the mattress felt pretty worn out.Due to the hardwood/hardwood substitute floors throughout the room and the lack of furniture/decor, the rooms echo like crazy. House keeping every three days unless you ask for more frequent; but when you do, they kind of give you attitude about it. Same when you ask if someone can look at the shower because its not draining and almost overflowing onto the bathroom floor.I dont know. Just not my kind of place.

Prime location centrally located but still quite and comfortable. The staff are warm welcoming and professional. Eldora and Elaina are just a delight at check in. The whole hotel feels very fresh and modern, the rooms are pristine clean and look freshly remodeled. The pool area is definitely nice with a cozy fire pit. The lobby has a pool table, board games and other fun little things. Great place to stay. The value, cleanliness and overall feel of this hotel is a 10/10 in my book will 100% recommend this for any kind of traveler, family or on business this hotel is your best bet in the area

Minimalist rooms with few amenities, but comfortable. BYO cosmetics. Shower but no tub. Nice lounge area and the bar serves a good selection of foods for a light evening meal. Breakfast has a decent selection of simple breads, oatmeal, and sandwiches I enjoyed. Coffee was good, half-and-half was available, a welcome change from powder whitener.

Aloft Mountain View happens to be very close to some of the important offices, in a relative sense. I found it easy to walk to the office that was 2 miles away from the hotel than to take an Uber daily to and from the office.Once I checked in, I happen to go over the workmanship of the hotel room and found it shabbily done in multiple places, particularity where its inconspicuous, like under the sink, on the edges or in and around the showers.The windows were done poorly and hardly washed with the oil and grease accumulating over the years.The service part was a mixed experience, with some staff extra helpful and a few just about as uncaring as they could afford to be.Their corridors don’t have all the amenities in all places and you need to go down to the service desk to make things happen.Mixed experience overall.

The lady at the front was nice, and the room was okay.Unfortunately, all the previous reviews about the housekeepers are true. I was trying to ask for bottled water(there was none when we arrived), and got nothing because they don’t understand English at all.And my bed sheet was never changed even after we asked. They changed one bed when we were there and then after we left the room, they just skipped the other bed. I know that it’s never changed because there was a stain. THAT STAIN REMAINRD FOR 14 DAYS.

Lovely hotel, very centrally located at El Camino, lots of nice places to eat in and around. Rooms are great the only thing is the TA is not SMART so no netflix etc....I did want to mention one member of their service staff ROY as being such an asset. He was most helpful with carting my luggage ( i had plenty of it as i was relocating) and he was so courteous and helpful. He is an asset.The hotel has a bar and restaurant ...i did not end up eating as the menu is quite limited but overall this is a lovely place to stay and i plan to stay there again.

Stay was 1/22 to 1/26 on business. Front desk staff was great. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, but furniture is aging. Low star rating is for the restaurant. Food was not quality at all, breakfast was 1 hour late on Monday & is still not decent hot food, even though you pay $ for it. Pastries & doughnuts were hard enough to be a couple days old. Hamburger was burnt and dry.Bottom line - Stay there, just do not eat there.

Front desk staff is unprofessional, unhelpful and basically unpleasant as well. Bed was comfortable. Decent location for Shoreline Concert and lobby has a pool table and other games. Won’t stay again due to the vibe from the front desk staff that we encountered on our one night stay. Very unwelcoming.

Room 320Pros:Early check in, helpful front desk receptionist, free parking, wood/laminate floors, spacious room (but small bathroom), modern furniture/decor, pretty quiet (request for a room not near the main street).Cons:Hair on bathroom wall, No Netflix / Hulu / HBO Max / etc, loud doors opening and closing from other rooms that woke me up, high pitched squeaky shower head that made a noise the whole time I was in the shower, no handheld shower head.Room phone wasn’t working & my room didn’t have a desk chair for some reason so maintenance had to come in. Maintenance guy was nice but not dressed professional. I thought it was some random guy in street clothes knocking at my door.I tossed and turned both nights, the sheets were itchy to me and not comfortable.Also, on my last morning, housekeeping knocked at my door trying to clean but I haven’t checked out yet? It was 8am.Overall:Had high expectations for this hotel but I booked before I read the reviews. It was also not a great experience for me. I would book elsewhere.

Room was ok. No carpeting. There was an iron but no ironing board. I asked for one and it never appeared. The shower was very good.Actually, I recall being bitter at check-in. They tried a ruse to try to get me to accept a room facing the busy road.I arrived at 3pm. The reception person said oh we only have twins knowing I booked a double. She pretended to tap a few keys and made me wait a few minutes (as if Marriotts IT was done by fax) then declared that shed found a double for me, as if I should appreciative of her efforts.She began assigning me the room and it occurred to me to ask if the room faced the road. She reluctantly admitted that it did. I told her that wont work. I am Marriott Platinum and I had requested a room facing the back. After another implausible wait she found me the double room facing the back that I had requested. That was a waste of 10 minutes of my life.I wanted to take this up with the manager, but had work to complete. Posting this review is much more impactful. Marriott cannot take it down, and the regional manager will surely catch sight of this.Hopefully your check in experience is more friendly.

Pretty basic. The rooms are basic. The walls are thin and you can definitely hear everything from surrounding rooms. While I was here the elevators were in poor condition. One didn’t have the elevator inspection displayed, but luckily it was also extremely dark inside, so you might not even notice that.

Such a beautiful hotel! Insanely packed though. Came here late Friday night and the entire lobby was buzzing with people. Didnt get a chance to play pool. Even the gym was packed. Almost lost our room but thankfully Chris saved our day and found us something.

I travel often for work. I got to the Hotel around 2pm. The hostess said the room wasn’t ready. No problem. I wait and wait. I watch another guy get checked in at 2:28pm. Ok, no problem the hostess will allow me to check in soon….. she does not.When I finally check in, the room is dilapidated, no shower gel, and a weird smells. The blinds don’t close correctly. This place is a pit. Avoid unless absolutely necessary.

Hotel is definitely cutting corners.I stayed in the double king bed room, which is spacious. But beds are hard as a rock. Pillows are uncomfortable.The breakfast menu is way overpriced, for food that other aloft hotels give for free.And toiletries are cheap- like the “dry bar” shower toiletries being refilled with Costco Kirkland brand shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Saw that happening at the cleaning carts in the morning.Seems to be a really old hotel that management tried to renovate by pouring money into making it look good but not being as good in quality.

Unfortunately this particular Marriott hotel does not meet the normal standards expected from them. The staff is unknowledgeable and unkind (rude, lied to me and was combative actually). I was double charged for my room and the one host who I was only allowed to speak to, could not figure out how to fix it (I finally had to go through my bank who immediately saw and corrected the double charge). Initially I was given a room with a non-working TV and switched to a room that didnt appear to be completely cleaned. I reported the double charge error to Corporate office and no offer of any type of compensation was given (which would be the normal at any other hotel). Needless to say, this was my first and will be my last stay here.

Loved the non-carpted floors (I hope / trust it is wiped very clean between guests!). The towels were not the cleanest looking but again, I trust they were washed well. I also loved that the water pressure in the shower was strong to be able to take a quicker and nice warm shower. The parking lot towards the back of the property could use better lighting, it is so dark that you wouldnt be able to see if someone tries to break in.

Stayed here for a business trip. Hotel is pretty good (except for noise isolation), and would have been a 4/5 star review, except that:They didnt charge me for the hotel room; when I called, it was hard to reach the manager who never returned my calls. Finally they just charged me again for it, but didnt send a receipt. Management seems pretty incompetent and billing was a pain. Please fix.

Im not sure why its rated as a 3 star hotel. I thought it was great.The Aloft lobby had games for families. They had great out door seating and a nice pool. The room was very clean and modern. I really loved having a Bluetooth speaker in the room ( super cute, shaped like a fender amp). I would stay here again. It was about a 15 min drive over to the mountain view amphitheatre with traffic.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my adult life. We stayed for 5 out of 6 originally booked nights despite the horrible service we got because other hotels nearby were full, and this was the only one from where we could have a reasonable commute time to work. Heres why this was a 0-star experience:1. The fun began when we checked in at midnight on Sunday and were given key access to a room with a family already sleeping in it.2. We had no housekeeping for two days straight, meaning no coffee pod refills, no bathroom cleaning and no clean towels until we kicked up a fuss for these basic amenities.3. When housekeeping did arrive on day 3 of 6, the sink and toilet were skipped. This meant that these bathroom fixtures were never cleaned for the entirety of our stay.4. Housekeeping staff only speak Spanish so it was impossible to communicate adhoc cleaning requests e.g. when we saw them in the hallway.5. The credit card I provided for incidental charges was wrongly charged the entire booking cost of $1400 without authorization even though the payment had already been made through corporate booking channels before our arrival.We paid premium rates due to high demand and all upfront but wound up regretting our choice every day of our stay. I would strongly suggest avoiding this hotel at all costs unless you enjoy experiencing terrible customer service.

The property seems pretty new and fresh. It is kept very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Victor who great in addressing a couple of minor issues with my stay, and supported me on extending it. Only negative I saw is how noisy the little fridge in the room is. If you dont need it, just disconnect it. I asked management to move it into the bathroom, which they were happy to do for me.

I stayed at Aloft Mountain View for four nights in August 2022. I had a bad experience that makes me not want to stay at this hotel again: for my entire stay the sink was blocked and unusable, despite me asking on three separate days at the front desk for them to unblock the sink.The sink was blocked when I arrived on Sunday night. I asked the front desk on the mornings of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for them to unblock my sink, and each evening I returned to find that the sink was still blocked.Apart from the sink issue my stay at the hotel was fine, but if having a working sink is important to you then I do not recommend you stay at Aloft Mountain View.

The check in process was fairly quick. The room was clean as well. However, it had the worst soundproofing design. I felt like I was camping in the open. I could literally hear everything in the lobby and probably the same vice versa. Also, there was only one working elevator. Make sure to use the stair to avoid the long wait in the morning. The upside is that the parking here is complimentary.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The stay itself is fine, however, they overcharged me 5 nights even though I only stayed 4 nights. The worse part is that the stay had been paid by my company, but they double charged my personal credit card. I called them 5 times to get refund and they would promise to fix it within 5 to 10 business days, but I didnt see my credit card charge refunded after almost 2 months.I am taking this to my credit cards fraud department to get the refund. I would definitely stay away from this hotel in the future as it has the most dishonest staff.

Terrible experience with the staffThe front desk gave me a breakfast voucher for the first day and told me that I wont get any extra charge. After I picked up the breakfast the next day, I confirmed with the front desk that they wont charge any. While checking out, I confirmed with them AGAIN that theres no extra charge under my room. They confirmed AGAIN. However, I still got an extra charge afterward.After I called Marriott customer support, they said the charge is not from them. Its on the third-party booking platform. I checked with the third-party platform, they showed me the receipt which doesnt include any extra charge. Then, I called Aloft instead. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, they told me that theyll need to investigate because they do see expenses at the bar.I feel like my time has been wasted...-------------Other terrible experience with this hotel- The housekeeping staff didnt refill coffee cups, Kleenex, etc.- The housekeeping staff and kitchen staff dont speak English. They dont even understand numbers, like 2 boxes.

Very nice little space to stay and rest for a couple days from driving. The area is very easy to miss and the front sign is not visible until you get closer to the entry point and the entry is not very wide as well its narrow.But near it they got so many restaurants so I cant complain.The staff are very helpful and house keeping are stellar sincr they are the one cleaning the area.Ask the front desk if they do daily cleaning because due to staffing let them know if you want your room clean if you are staying more than 3 days.

I left my items in the hotel. I called the hotel staff and I was told that I can come and pick them up in the office. I took a ride after work to the hotel, and I was told that my items are not in the office, and I have to come back the next day when housekeeping is open. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to pick up my items as I have to leave the city.It is my first time to complain the issue to Marriott, but I received no response from them. Being a Marriott Bonvoy card holder for > 8 years and stayed 23 nights this year, I feel so disappointed.

The place just opened recently it looks like it used to be the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel just opened up. The rooms were refreshed to Aloft standards but you can notice the old bits of the room. I started during winter and the room in 154 was freezing. The heater takes about 30 minutes to warm up.The decorations are really nice and they have a nice lobby with a ton of games and a billiards table. Room is nice there was a ton of unused space and missing plugs next to the bed so youll have to charge at the deskSo far my stay has been great staff has been pleasant and check-in was smooth.Did a WiFi speed test and it clocked out at 150mbps. Parking appears to be included if youre a guest and its self parking.Ill update if anything changes!

Stayed here for 9 nights. This hotel recently converted from Hilton Garden Inn to an Aloft.Stay was average at best. Breakfast was sub-ordinary and there was unfortunately no reliable wifi in the breakfast area.Rooms are decently sized, and have a nice large TV. The decor was uninspiring though for an Aloft.Some of the staff at the reception were super friendly. There was unfortunately, one who tried her best to ruin your day.

I believe this hotel used to be the Holiday Inn, and after a fairly superficial refurbishment has now been reopened as an Aloft hotel. Aloft is supposed to be a no-frills brand aimed at the same younger crowd as the W, but it feels more spartan than low-frills, particularly here. The room frankly felt a bit more like a hostel than Id have expected from a Marriott branded hotel; the bare walls, low ceilings and anywhere comfortable to sit other than the bed left me feeling vaguely depressed.Its clear theyre still putting the finishing touches to the renovation, as evidenced by the empty ice room and emergency door painting. In general, Marriott hotels represent a consistent level of quality and comfort, but this would be low on my list for a repeat visit based on this first experience.

The rooms are modern, and the stuff is friendly. However, I did not find the hotel to be comfortable at all - the proximity to the highway creates constant noise, so I couldn’t sleep, and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

Do not use this hotel for your wedding or event block!I’d been in touch with Jamila via email several times leading up to our wedding with updates on guest reservations- our last check-in being 2 weeks prior. The day before my wedding I called to get the final number of people to verify the correct number of welcome bags to deliver for the guests. I spoke on the phone with someone who put me on hold while they spoke with Jamila to get the final count. They came back on the phone and told me that my wedding block had been cancelled entirely and that Jamila was refusing to speak with me on the phone. I asked the woman to girl to transfer me to Jamila so we could figure this out, and She transferred me over where Jamila then hung up on me.I then called back a second time and spoke with Mr. Edwards who told me it must be an our-bad on our part and that hed get back to me at some point about it. (It’s the day our guests arrive).Finally, after finding the managers email online (because the others wouldn’t give it to me) and putting all of these people on an email with the manager and an account of what happened- they finally told me they’d re-instate the reservations.It was really unnecessary for a problem we could have just solved right then, but the team was uninterested in helping me.I know the hotel used to be associated with Shashi Hotel which is wonderfully run, but they separated in the past couple years and it seems the entire operation has gone downhill since.

Recently renovated room, was pretty spacious and included an in room mini fridge, clothing steamer, and coffee maker. Bed and linen were comfortable enough, squarely middle of the range -- well above motel quality, and lagging behind a higher end Sheraton or autograph hotel like Nia. Moderate noise from the nearby road was noticeable during the day, but did not interfere with sleep quality. Air conditioning unit a bit dated and loud, but got the job done. Staff were friendly and observed reasonable COVID protocols.

I didnt go as a customer, I went as a visitor. Yet, the reception staff, especially one of them, was most kind and helpful. I am refraining from mentioning the exact service as it is not generally open to visitors. It was not an expensive service, yet, one I had been searching for the entire evening in the neighborhood on a weekend evening, without success. The neighboring hotel Avante was also quarantined for COVID, so Aloft was really my last try. Thanks to the receptionist for agreeing to let me use it. In the bigger scheme of things, it would hardly have cost the hotel anything (in monetary terms) and nothing in safety, etc., but it made a BIG difference to me. You can guess which hotel I will be a customer of and and refer my friends to, in future.

Internet was out on day 1, they fixed it but on day 2 it happened again. First time was the entire hotel, second maybe just my room. Internet is quite weak. In addition, the bedsheets looked like it already had hair on it...for a new hotel, Im not sure there are so many issues with it.My coworkers also had to use hotpot and out rooms were scattered on floors 1-3.

AVOID. My booking for 5 nights was confirmed. I land, go to the hotel only to be told they are overbooked. They found me a hotel at a neighboring property for the night and told me to check in the next day. Next day same thing happens. They dont have rooms. Inspite of a confirmed reservation how does this happen? Who is running this place? 3 other people with confirmed bookings were turned away also. Deplorable.

I tried with these guys. If you don’t want them to charge money on your card after you leave, go elsewhere. They did this to me last year, and held up money for more than a month until I could get it straightened out. I gave them another chance with visits, and they just did it to me again last week.
