Wow this brunch buffet needs more praise! for the price ($45 for adults. kids age 2-12 $20) it definitely surpasses the quality and my expectations.patrons can see the lush golf course from the dining area. honestly, if u just go have a (or many) cups of coffee with some cakes, the $45, in my opinion, is worth spending.the prime ribs are tender. the crab legs are fresh. they even have menudo!the only thing i wish they could done better is the dessert-the pieces are a little big, if it was 1/2 or 1/3 of the size, it would be perfect.

Thanksgiving buffet is back. YAYYY...no cooking just feasting. Buffet style. Lots of variety. Beautiful setting with large windows looking at golf course and gazebo. Crab aplenty, a pasta station...great desserts.. I love that some of the pumpkin pie was shaped in a crescent with the crust. The fruit especially the watermelon was fresh not mealy...the bbq ribs were flavorful...so were all the Mexican offerings, pork in green sauce, fajitas...menudo. Turjey Prime rib Made our reservation via open table, easy. Friendly efficient wait staff. And general manager. They were watchful, and our dishes were always cleared by the time we returned with another plate of food. Pitchers of water and orange juice arrived as soon as we sat down. The coffee and the coffee station was awesome. Reception was a bit less welcoming, poor girl seemed overwhelmed...and we had to ask about paying (the check comes after eating) but everyone else was super nice proactive helpful and engaged in making our experience lovely. And it was.

The Sunday brunch had a very good selection with a large selection of meats, omlet bar and carving station for prime rib. The service was good and the wait staff was attentive. All the food was hot and fresh and tasted good.

Bring back Hugo on Sundays please. He is an amazing waiter and deserves to be there on Sundays. I keep hoping to see him and apparently a lot of customers want to see him. Love brunch at Almansor Court but want Hugo back!!

We had the pleasure of deejaying a wedding at this fine venue. The staff at Almansor Court is very friendly and hands on. Ive deejayed here many times and Ive found them to be very helpful to me and the guests. The venue has plenty of parking. Great space for your wedding.

Almansor Court is a hidden gem as a restaurant but also as a wedding venue. The renovated indoors space is beautiful while the lush backyard with a dreamy gazebo is perfect! I am attaching photos of a wedding I photographed there last year for reference.

I want to rate my Easter brunch a zero, but there isnt a zero. They packed us like sardines and the lines for omelets and waffles was ridiculous. The room was so loud, we couldnt even talk. Never again.

Hello Daisy, Thank you so much for your guidance when planning my Anniversary Event. I was very happy with the outcome. Captain Narciso is friendly and very professional. His team were awesome. They assisted all my guest when needed. All my guest were impressed and enjoyed our party. Huge thanks to all individuals who made this day memorable for me and my husband and guest. I had my retirement luncheon at Almansor court. They were super friendly, super organized and super accommodating . The food was presented well, plentiful for our buffet, and tasty.The Palm Court room was well organized with tables spaced right for movement and conversation and dancing.The only thing lacking was enough lighting in the main area, to match the light from the sun coming in from the glass wall facing the scenic grounds and golf course

OVERALL EXPERIENCE: decent food, great service, big venue. I have been here multiple times in the past for conferences, a retirement party, and brunch for special Holidays.AMBIANCE: Casual. Noise level is average/loud.BANQUET ROOMS: The inside of the banquet halls are decent looking. Both banquet halls have views of the golf course (the larger banquet hall has more natural light). The smaller seems to have been updated, with lighting, but not my cup of tea.CONFERENCE ROOMS: I believe there are 3-4 rooms. The conference rooms are super dark, and despite the size feel underwhelming.DRESS CODE: Business casualFOOD: Depends on the occasion, but the food is not bad. For the buffet, they kept everything refilled (esp the hot items). This isnt a seafood buffet, so do not expect a huge variety. I was there for a banquet and got there early to find the room we would be in. There was no one to be seen, but I heard music (some classic rock) coming from the kitchen so went into the kitchen and was able to get some help. The food was good, the staff friendly and professional and the facility clean and neat. Our group has had their end of year banquet there for many years, but alas this may have been our last one as not many people showed up. You have to book it a year in advance and have a minimum of 50 people (we had about 32). ;)

The place is simply nice and clean and looks good on the party I have attended today. Food is good as well. Parking space are sufficient for any gathering.Well, I came from Santa Clarita, so going in here is like a puzzle. Its more of street driving with a very tight street spacing and not well lighted during night time. Bit dangerous to drive though and you need to be very careful. If invited again in this place, I would not go back here for sure. This is not a place for me. I just dont like driving on small street since I have a big SUV that Im using. Peace 😎

I went there for my nephews engagement party. We had the room overlooking the golf course. The sky was clear and some clouds that day.The service people were friendly and courteous. The drinks were always filled.The food was great except for the cod. It has been sitting in the hot tray for too long. The cod didnt taste right.The desserts were delicious. So many items to choose from beside ice cream bars.I would recommend this place for small or large parties for a Sunday brunch.

Where do I begin? Our event this past weekend was nothing short of amazing. Floor captain Armando was amazing as well as his team of waitresses assisting him. Whenever & for whatever they were attentive. The office staff stuck around to make sure all of our needs were met. Gary would come and walk the floor every 15 minutes to assure we were satisfied and if any assistance was needed. Our event went amazing. Our bartender was the sweetest. He attentively listened to my nine year old talk while we were all cleaning & seemed interested. I was beyond pleased as well as my family & will definitely recommend this venue.

1 star only for location. I arranged a party last weekend. Nothing was on time. The bar opened 30 min late, I kept finding the bar attendant and she kept going away and my guests could not enjoy the bar. There was no staff at the time of my event, I had to go around the place and find them when no body showed for 20 minutes.The dinner served was cold too. I would not go back there again.

My brother had his wedding reception here on Aug 15, 2021 and the service was horrible. We had 4 server at that time, but the 2 male server were so rude and unprofessional. They seems like they dont wanted to be there in the first place. So this is what happened:Appetizer- Appetizer was a disaster. They were serving the appetizer the bare minimum. I was watching the servers. The 2 ladies were great, but the two male server was the worse. The two male server walking around to table of 8 people just to give two pieces of appetizer to only 2 people and ignore the rest. Theres one time one of the server walk out with a tray full of appetizer server two people and walk back to the kitchen. It makes me thing the reason they wouldnt want to serve those appetizer so they can take home at the end of the day. Thats terrible because we paid for all those food.Toast- Toast went so wrong. Before toast we told the servers to fill the cups so we can do toast, but did not happened. When the groom and bride ask for toast, cup was empty, even the bride and groom cup. I had to grab their cup and fill it with water so they can make the toast. That was so embarrassing.Dinner- At dinner people were making line and some people were ignored. the man servers were serving the female guests, but ignoring the male guest. my friend which is a female was telling the server can you also give some to my friend here? His response to my friend oh, he wanted some? I mean.. seriously?!!!Afterall, really bad experience. Wont ever book events at this place ever again.

I would not hesitate to have my next function at this facility. The brunch is also excellent. There is so much food to chose from that is presented beautifully and tastes wonderful. Very scenic and quiet. I come here very often for county meetings and enjoy taking a walk around the complex during the break because it is so pretty and there’s so many different options they have a place to eat but I have never eaten there. Parking is not bad either.

This evening I attended a special event that was being held here tonight. The observance of jesuss death and I must say that having this venue as a backdrop was quite spectacular.Excellent staff as well as facility. As with most public establishments in todays new world of apocalyptic worldwide pandemic masks are definitely encouraged and social distancing is applauded. I definitely noticed a shift in behavior with this being our first in person observance.

I wanted to share our experience with you about this Venue. We originally were going to get married in October 2020 and of course becuase of the pandemic it didnt happen. This was so disappointing to us but wanted to move forward with planning another date for our event 😞 Gary Miller is the Manager here at Almansor Court but I think he lacks compassion for realizing that many people come here looking for that special place thats going to have their event run smoothly especially becuase it means alot to us.He gave me a very difficult time with rescheduling and other things. Lets talk about the positive and her name is Daisy!!!💕 shes a coordinator here at Almansor Court. She was amazing and we like to take this time to Thank you! Your level of professionalism and compassion to understand someones vision of their wedding is amazing,Daisy always reassuring us that our reschedule date for our wedding would run smoothly and that she would make sure of it. She did a amazing job going above & beyond. The day of our wedding was October 2,2021 and it was so beautiful and their servers did a great job and they were right on target with our champagne 🍾 being served in the garden area right after our ceremony . The food was good. However, it is inconsistent, generally visit for Easter or Mothers day. Some years the food is good ans years not so good. Also, this year there was only one waffle station which only make two waffles at a time. The inability to make more than two waffles created a logistical nightmare

This park is one of the nicer parks Ive seen. There are some really good areas to take some epic photos by the pond. Theres also free parking and there are grills on the other side of the park. Its pretty much the ultimate picnic area.

I came her for my graduation Brunch and it was everything I had always hoped for in a Brunch .The restaurant sits by a lake and golf course, as Im sure you could guess, looking over the lake . Even walking into the place is beautiful. There is a Gazebo that goes over a lake /pond with water trickling down. Its all just quite beautiful.Now onto the food...Oh my Crab Legs. Yes, I got the unlimited Crab Legs . Prime Rib Cooked had a harmonious flavor. The brunch offers A complete blend of flavors of seafood, beef, and cheese. It was like eating gold.Oh and that VIEW. I mean I was just with my family but you cant help but feel the romance in the air.I suggest it for any special occasion!

The staff that work the office are the least enthusiastic. People spend money to have a great venue. Yet the office staff all of them have this smug attitude like the customer is interfering with there Facebook browsing. My daughter is a vegetarian she went to the pasta bar and asked if the marinara sauce had meat in it. The chef told her No, so after making her a plate of pasta with marinara sauce she proceeded to take several bites and then found meat in the sauce. She went and confronted him about it and he acted like he could care less.They were holding two events on a Sunday brunch and didnt have enough servers to handle replacing the food by the time you would get to your table your food would be cold.They have raised the price to $35 per person but yet will not have guacamole anymore because the price of avocados has risen.The reason I gave it 2 Stars was because the manager did seem to be very apologetic.

I really really wanted to like this place because my boyfriend lives in Alhambra and I love discovering new places he didnt know existed, but the way we were treated by everyone from the host, to the waitstaff, has me scratching my head and vowing never to come back.I will add the caveat that they seemed to treat everyone else like royalty so why were singled out for such poor treatments completely boggles my mind.The location is a gorgeous ballroom over looking the golf course with fountains on one side and a beautiful visit thought the floor to ceiling windows, if you are lucky enough to be seated in the front room. The room further back is probably an overflow for that space and most of the tables still offer a view. There was a live trio singing and playing music. I made reservations online. The Hostess told me she had printed them out earlier but they had plenty of room. She had a young man who was seemingly a junior host at first lead us to the main room and then change his mind (there were about 7 tables available in the front room) and take us to the back room and put us in a corner table so tight to the wall I couldnt get in my seat. Besides not having a view, it was right by the busing station and dirty tray holders. He told us to wait for a waiter to get our drinks. My boyfriend decided to get up and look around and I waited as directed. I waited 10 minutes and flagged down a woman that was having a hard time understanding English and she directed a waiter over. I asked him if we could be moved and they took us to a table that was on the edge of the main room and had a highchair next to it. (The highchair wasnt removed until after I paid the bill). I asked for Orange juice, not a mimosa, as I was fighting a cold and the bf got a mimosa. When I came back with food, I had a mimosa, no oj. No one ever came to check on us until they brought the bill. At every other table they left the Champagne and OJ in the middle of the table, every table but ours. When I pointed this out when paying the bill the waiter offered to go get me the bottle and I asked, At this point what for? The couple that came in after us were lead to a beautiful table close to the windows, attentive service, champagne left for them in the center of the table. I was wearing a sweater, matching beret and slacks, not high end country club but certainly not ragamuffin. The boyfriend was defiantly casual in cargo shorts but so were several men there so it is hard to understand the mistreatment. The food was okay but even if it was spectacular the service makes this the second worst restaurant I have ever visited in the area. Save your $90 and go to Pasadena where they treat dinners with respect.

Almansor Park is a great place for a family get together, or a picnic. It is a very large park in comparison to the others in Alhambra. It Includes a playground, tennis courts, lawn bowling field, baseball field, basketball area, recreation building, outdoor benches and seating, exercise walking trail, pond, and across that pond is the golf course. The park is relatively clean, for the most part; being that there are geese and ducks in the area. There is plenty of parking, and it is a good part of the city.

Surprise Surprise..Who knew our backyard had such a beautiful arena. When i think of Almansor I typically think ...Cheap, oldschool...What a terrible misconception!Yes, The front does look a bit dated but if you venture towards the back- you will see a beautiful green golf course! I was def. in for a nice surprise!A friend of mine gotten married at this particular location in the Terrace Room and boy was the staff incredibly friendly. They were almost the nicest staff ive encounter in a very long time! Even the bartenders were helpful and smiley the whole time! I really enjoyed my time and def will put my foot in my mouth for any bashing...=X!

For Sunday brunch in all-you-can-eat buffet this place is pretty good Ive definitely had better but this is good if youre not willing to wait a very long time at some other place, one of the things that I dont really like about this place is how they set up your seating, it just opens up to a big Hall and they just sit you anywhere where they find a spot they should be more organized in that and not make it seem like youre walking into a wedding venue it just looks really weird but other than that they have decent food.

I think many times before writing a negative review. We were booked for our wedding celebration in March of 2018, suddenly my husband passed away in September of 2017. I had a big deposit with the event department. My wedding planner and my daughter visited them in October and what was relayed back to me was your deposit less $1000 will be refunded right away 2 months passed and I left multiple messages at the # that was given to me at the time of booking. I did not hear back from anyone, so today I finally called the main # and I was promised a call back. I heard back from the director Catherine Alas, basically a hard core cold conversationalist. She said that they will hold my entire deposit till the day of the event gets booked and she added that if my wedding planner did not give me their message than it was no fault of hers. I told her what my wedding planner told me about the deposit being refunded less $1000. She put me on hold, than came back and said we will honor what you said. I cut in and asked her, is this how you people do business? there is no empathy, no sorry for your loss? also added I am emotionally broken and I am having to chase after my deposit? she said did you not hear me? I said we will honor what you said!!!. We will send you your check, it will get to you in 6 to 8 weeks (so now I have to wait additional 6-8 weeks from today in addition to the days already gone since October when the check was promised) . She also said, when your wedding planner and daughter came into cancel, we extended our condolence to the whole family! Also, the reason why you did not get a return call from our department is because the person you booked with hasnt been working with us for 4 months. My question to Almansor event department is: So what happens to the clientele, when someone leaves or is fired? what about those clients? Do you just forget them? The place might be pretty, however I recommend you cover all your ends should you have to ever cancel your event at Almansor Court in Alhambra, I believe my reason to cancel was out of my control, I am dealing with a huge loss!. I have notified The Alhambra Chamber of Commerce of the event department at Almansors lack of client care and just simple respect and kindness over the phone.

I was a brides maid at a wedding at Almansor Court in Alhambra this past weekend. The service I experienced was amazing. The staff was extremely attentative and the food was delicious. Our recption had the Filet Mignon which was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The bar line moved quickly and our bartender made delicious drinks. The location is beautiful as well as the view in our room which I believe was called the Lakeview room over-looking the golf course and the lake. Definately going to book an event here in the future.

I attended a function at the facility, accidently left my wallet on the table, a nice lady was kind enough to turn it into the bartendar, for him to give it to managment.When I called to find out when I can come to retrieve it, I was attended by very rude, unhelpful employees. After getting transfered to at least 3 people I got to speak with a manager, Jose. He asks, which bartender, whats his name, what does he look like. How is he suppose to help me if I dont know what to tell him. I had to ask if he could be courteous enough to please look at the bar and see if the bartendar may have left it at the bar, seeing that my entire identity was contained in my belongings. His reply, was yeah, I guess I can. He wanted me to wait till the following Saturday. Is that customer service or what???
