2024-06-25 20:24:58Prior to being treated by Dr. James Wolfe at Allergy + Asthma, Id be hospitalized six or seven times a year. On my first visit he told me if I followed his instructions I wouldnt have to be hospitalized again. In over 20 years thiss been true. Being able to stay home while recovering is a huge physical and emotional help.In addition to Dr. Wolfe, the nurses are outstanding. They make sure I have all the information necessary, and that I understand it.I cant recommend Allergy + Asthma highly enough.

2024-04-23 18:52:19From the front receptionist, to every nurse, to the wonderful Dr Torrano, I was truly listened-to and heard. I was treated with respect and care and in the end, was lucky to find out my allergy. It was like a party in the office when the scratch test came back positive, because now we know how to proceed! Thank you to the great team and congratulations on a job well done.

2024-03-30 22:30:07The last time I went to an allergy and asthma specialist was when I was in high school. Since then, I hadn’t been able to get referred to a specialist either due to insurance not covering, being out of network, or the few specialists around not accepting clients.Thankfully, my insurance covers these services and my primary care provider was kind enough to listen and validate my concerns around wanting to get my allergies and asthma checked to make sure everything is healthy.I went in for a full appointment with an allergy and asthma test. From the moment I walked into the office, the receptionists were welcoming. The staff that helped with my asthma tests were very sweet and guided me through the process. When I spoke to Dr. Levenson, she was not dismissive but rather very welcoming and open to hear out my concerns. She was able to help me with some questions I had around allergy medication and whether I was taking the right asthma medication as well. Since getting COVID in the summer of 2022, I had switched to a stronger medication because I was having more asthma flare ups.She reassured me everything was good and provided recommendations for new allergy medication and information on allergy shots.I’ve had asthma since I was 12 and I’m 28. I take asthma and allergies very seriously because if I don’t take care of them, the flare ups are unbearable. I’m really happy to be in great hands with folks at this place. I felt very validated and supported. I’m very grateful to be connected with these specialists and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

2024-05-29 00:55:34I have seen Dr Goldsobel for over 30 years. He is the best! He’s caring, thoughtful, and brilliant. I had the worst, life threatening asthma, but not anymore. With his expertise, I now breathe, smell and taste fantastic! A big thank you. Yay!!!

2024-03-18 20:14:55This review is for the receptionist desk. I called this morning to reschedule an appointment, and the receptionist was exceptionally rude to me. Firstly, she interrupted me multiple times over the phone which was unnecessary and off putting. Then, when asking for my name, she continued to butcher it by mispronouncing it over and over again, about 4-5 times in a row in an insensitive manner because she got it so wrong that clearly there was no effort being put in. Finally when I was quietly waiting for her to finish embarrassing both of us, she asked me how to pronounce my name. As someone who grew up having to explain to others how to pronounce my legal name, I am aware that it’s tricky and am happy to help but the worst thing is when someone clearly just doesn’t care enough to be polite about it.The other staff I’ve spoken to on the phone or in person have been perfectly fine and the doctor is wonderful, but this experience was so jarring and distasteful and I feel I should reconsider returning.

2024-05-06 23:09:18Have been trying to find a doctor that would truly help me find a reason for my chronic cough. First visit, we were already able to eliminate two factors, two test completed within my first visit!. I am at the beginning of my findings but I am already optimistic!

2024-05-28 21:15:56I have been to four allergy offices due to moves and changes in insurance and I far prefer A&AA to my previous ones.I cant speak highly enough of Dr. Gandhe. Dr Gandhe is very thorough, makes sure to ask questions about everything relevant, puts together a plan, and explains it and every medication clearly. She is the only doctor to have me tested for asthma, try alternative medications, and order a CT scan to rule out sinus issues for my headaches (which then led to me seeing a neurologist and getting a migraine diagnosis after 4 years instead of being told they are allergy headaches!)
