2021-11-16 20:25:48Richard is a knowledgeable expert in his field that not only fixes the issues quickly, professionally and thoroughly but he also sets you up with proactive practices to avoid future problems. I fell for a scam and Richard was kind in reassuring me, it happens to many people. He has my business for life and I highly recommend him.

2022-02-11 04:56:35I was so happy to find Richard.I had come within an inch of being scammed for thousands. They were in my computer, in control, and messing around in my bank account!I ran to the bank to see what was going on in my account. I had to go home, unplug it, change all my bank passwords thru my phone and get my computer cleaned asap. I was not looking forward to going down to Best Buy and standing in line so I found Richard online. So much easier.Plus, Richard not only cleaned my computer, but he set it up securely and taught me what I had to do to keep it that way.His compassionate attitude salved my bruised ego too. It is scary and humiliating when you are fooled by scammers.I love my computer now.

2019-05-21 14:28:10On the day before I was scheduled to leave on a month-long trip, the new battery in my laptap computer was suddenly not able to charge. In a panic, I searched for someone in the Healdsburg area who might be able to help. I’m so glad that I found Richard! He was calm and gracious, and agreed to take on a rush job from someone he had never met. Richard worked his magic – disassembling and cleaning the computer and adjusting all the relevant connections. He was able to complete the repair quickly and completely, and at a very reasonable price. He definitely knows what he is doing!

2021-02-14 04:41:38I took a PC to Richard to do a motherboard swap, get the PC running and install Windows - that was it. Quoted at roughly 150.00 USD. I had already assembled the PC, but the motherboard was dead and I was over doing any more work - so I chose to hire someone.Right out the gates, he pushed extremely hard to install an M2 hard drive in the PC over a SATA SSD, then when we stuck to our original parts and budget suddenly our hard drive became unusable - the same hard drive of a fairly reputable brand that we have installed in 2 of our home PCs with no issues. We agree to pay him for an M2 hard drive he just happens to have laying around. Then, he insisted on a package of Microsoft software with some added niceties (Office) on top of our Windows copy - fine, the recipient might use it someday, sure. In setting this up, he requests the information (name, email, other information) of the eventual recipient of the PC. In slight distrust of being signed up for unneeded bloatware/junk mail, we explained that wed like for there to be no personal information tied to the PC at this time (all we have requested in terms of software setup was a Windows installation & key) but offered our own if it was absolutely necessary. Instead of taking this at face value and moving forward in the process, he argued with us to the point of requesting the phone number of the recipient in order to sway him.Instead of an itemized invoice, we received a request from him to pay under the table using Paypal friends & family, presumably to avoid fees and dodge taxes. This would have resulted in us incurring additional fees, so we agreed to pay him in cash instead. Upon meeting him in a local parking lot to exchange the PC and cash, still no itemized receipt or any record of his work. He claims to have spent 16 hours exchanging a motherboard, installing an M2 hard drive, and installing Windows/Microsoft Office. We have no way of knowing the amount of time required to do any of these things individually (or the cost of the extra hard drive, software) without an itemized invoice/receipt, but are left with a bill that is $250 over the agreed amount to assemble this PC. We were able to originally assemble this PC on our own in a timespan of about 5 hours.Upon getting the PC to the recipient and up and running, we discovered that the copy of Windows on the PC was not activated and he did not include a key. We tried contacting him about this with no response. Additionally, he has set up an extra Admin account on the PC to access it remotely and provide support (to which we requested the password to - no response). This is not something we requested and we generally have no problems diagnosing and fixing issues on our own PCs. Again - we have contracted this work for hardware assembly and a Windows installation in order to ensure the PC boots and works normally. Nothing more. There were so many mystery/bloatware programs (and Classic Shell?? who asked for this???) that we decided to perform a clean installation of Windows and, of course, buy the Windows activation key that was not included. And now - after all of this - the recipient has received the PC and set it up to find that in Richards 16 hours of labor, he did not stress test the PC once and it now requires more labor to diagnose issues that occur under high load. These are things that I would have expected from a service like this.In retrospect, everything about this business screams red flags. His website is needlessly flashy while also somehow being unsecured (???). His reviews are glowing, but brief and offer no real details on the kind of work he was contracted for. No storefront, meets to exchange goods in parking lots for cash or otherwise under the table. My impression is that those who will have good experiences with Richard are probably overwhelmed with simple PC issues and are: willing to accept subpar work; willing to pay more for nondescript services; and unable to recognize red flags concerning business practices.

2019-07-26 03:26:49While I was traveling, I spent the night in a shady motel and like a dummy, got on the WIFI. The next day I had some weird stuff going on with my (business) laptop so I called All Pro. Since it was a business computer it was crucial I had it taken care of ASAP.Richard answered (it was a Saturday morning) I explained my sitch and Richard said;Ok no problem, I can fix it, Im on my way to pick it up now, Ill have it back by 1:00PMHow can you possibly beat that service?? When I picked up my laptop not only had Richard removed the malware, he cleaned up my OS, he had updated, installed and organized the programs I needed in order to keep my machine healthy moving forward, and sent me off with detailed instructions on how to run the cleaner and backup programs. Since he fixed up my laptop he has also helped me with a VPN and is always responsive and knowledgeable.Good to know I have an expert computer guy right here in Healdsburg.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
