Laura and her staff are amazing. She is very ethical and wants what is best for you and your business. She works very hard to educate herself on new tax laws and changes. For nearly 15 years she has been doing the taxes for my businesses and does our personal taxes. She has been an incredible business resource so many times and is well connected as well. Her passion for all things taxes and accounting is evident in her work and I am so incredibly grateful to have her as our accountant and tax firm. She has been through the thick and thin with us. All About Numbers is as good as it gets and my many great experiences with them over the years is proof.

My spouse and I have been going to All About Numbers for over five years. We trusted AAN and had a wonderful relationship with them. When we came in last year to file our 2022 taxes, a discussion made us found a mistake on our 2021 return. We caught their mistake, not them. Although we submitted all necessary documents to file our taxes, AAN made an error. It was amended and we were hit by the IRS with over $1,500 in interest/penalty fees and over $20,000 in owed taxes. We requested AAN to reimburse us only the interest/penalty fees, but they refused and only offered to reimburse us $405 (what we paid them to file our taxes that puts us in this mess). They told us that because we signed their engagement letter, they basically had the right to possibly make mistakes and not be held accountable for it. The error was no fault of our own and yet we had to pay for it. We trusted AAN and felt valued as loyal clients who have been with them for years, but they did not care. Please be aware of this “engagement letter” that they require you to sign/initial because if they make a mistake and cost you thousands of dollars in fees, they will not be responsible for it.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. We went to Laura because she took over once our prior tax advisor retired. Laura was sick and had to cancel our first appointment after I was on hold for 30 minutes, I rescheduled our tax appointment when she was feeling better and Laura was 30 minutes late again! Punctuality is important to me. She told me I owed $25,000 in taxes when I was expecting to pay no more than $10,000. Our phone call ended with me in tears. I obtained a second opinion and now only owe a fraction of what she estimated. Strongly do not recommend her services.

I would give less than a 1 star review, but I dont see that option. I am utterly stunned at the lack of their professionalism, and with what seems like a complete disregard for me and the work they agreed to provide. I reached out to them because I was a victim of a Ponzi scheme in which I lost all of my lifes savings, and they advertise having expertise in declaring that kind of loss. In doing my taxes, Laura and her assistant were not in communication with each other so Juelie submitted the wrong tax return. I only noticed their mistake after 5 months of trying to track where my refund was, which, by the way, they did nothing to assist me with except give me the IRS phone number and ask for more money. After I realized they submitted the incorrect tax return, I reached out to them in January to make the correction and submit an amendment. Since that time, they have ignored my phone calls. Numerous emails have gone unanswered. Then, when they finally did answer me, both Laura and Juelie minimized the situation. Juelie said, Its not that dramatic of a difference, so there is really no rush. Laura wrote, There are 3 years to amend, so though it is urgent to you it is not urgent compared to 4/18 deadlines. Speaking from someone who is a victim of a crime where I was defrauded of all of life my savings, their responses were heartless, harmful, and flat out rude. While perhaps to them the amount of my refund seems like nothing, it is a lot to me. It has been over 5 months since I reached out to them initially to fix their mistake. After my last 2 emails and 2 phone calls, Lauras only response to me was, Im on vacation until May 2nd. No apologies. No acknowledgement of how they made the mistake. Nothing about how they will rectify it.It is beyond me how they manage to stay in business.

All About Numbers impresses me as a nimble outfit of dedicated professionals who actually give a damn about their clients. I received valuable consultation about setting up my freelancing work in a businesslike manner, got excellent service filing my 2019 taxes, and feel confident with ongoing support in the 2020 tax year. These folks knocked themselves out to adapt when the COVID-19 crisis hit right at the height of tax season - they kept apologizing for delays that didnt actually feel like delays at all, filed extensions for all their clients without even being asked, and they provided supplemental information about the situation that was really helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for competent tax professionals to help with either personal or business taxes and bookkeeping.

I worked with Ryan Benton. He is a very knowledgeable and experienced tax professional. He prepared my return and reviewed for all possible deduction opportunities. When we found that there was some information that I did not have such as DMV fees, a charitable amount and property taxes based on payments during the tax year, he made it very easy for me to get the information to him by e-mail. He was able to then complete the return, my wife and I signed and then it was e-filed. I have had my taxes done there for several years now and am very pleased with the results. Would highly recommend them. I think their preparation service is a much better value for the money then H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt.

I did not give an accurate review. First I do not like this method of not being able to get an appt with my tax preparer until I turn over all my documents over to a secretary who will examine them and then tell what is missing. I DO NOT need someone to tell me what I need and dont need to do orgainze my own taxes for Bryan to review and work on it. I have been organzing my own tax document for 52 years and now all of sudden I have to have someone who was not even born yet tell me what to do with documents. Nor will I use any good for nothing portal system upload and or download any of my documents. You may trust this company, but I do not. They can be hacked just well has another company can. I have been doing business with ALL ABOUT NUMBER for over twenty years. I do not want to go another tax company to do my yearly state and federal taxes. Before coming to All About Numbers I had gone through four tax professionals and Bookeepers. I was desperate to find help with the mess that each of them created and was skeptical if I could find some who would call me back, help me clean up my records and know what they are talking about. We arrived prior to our scheduled time. We were seen, and were in and out within an hour or so. Nothing really stood out. I kind of expected them to have everything completed once we got there since that was what was told to me, but they informed me they got really busy. Not sure if thats really an excusable excuse as I sent all of my required documentation a week prior. Id still come back here. I thought Jolene was very nice. I guess I just had different expectations.
