My family and I have been coming here for over 10 years and will never go anywhere else! Mostly because of Lou she is amazing and always takes great care of us. The new doctor is also very nice, she was extremely patient with my little ones, and did her job very well. Highly recommend all about eyes.

Coming here I felt very comfortable the front desk ladies were very friendly and awesome. The text and calls for a friendly reminder about appointment was very helpful. Very neat office with a alot of selection for really amazing cool frames. Insurance covers a good amount so its very affordable. My daughter and I loved this place I wont stop coming thank you 😎🤜🤛

My first visit for an eye exam was a very easy & pleasant experience. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful. Dr. Yoo was professional & efficient. They worked with me to break down what my insurance will pay and what I would pay out of pocket and helped me find glasses and contacts in options I liked and could afford. Im glad I went there.

This was our (husband and I) first time to see a eye doctor in over 20 years! From the very first phone call, to the very first visit everyone was super friendly! It was such and awesome experience. All the ladies seemed so happy, friendly and helpful. Everyone including the Doctor took their time to explain everything to us. They showed such patience as they helped us pick out our new glasses and talk about all of our options. Talking to the crew there was like if we knew them for years! We are so blessed to have picked this office. As my husband and I walked out of the office we both looked at eachother and said everyone is so nice yup we found our new eye glasses spot! It was the first time I visited this clinic and I loved it.First, they have a large parking lot, the place is very clean, they have excellent costumer service, they take enough time to patiently explain to costumers what we need, they accept eye insurances, they have reasonable prices, what else?They deserve the 5 stars of complete satisfaction.I highly recommend it.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The Dr was nice but the turn around time to get your glasses is beyond ridiculous! The first time we got the glasses it took 6 weeks for us to get them. The second time I took them to get the lenses replaced it’s 4 weeks (we still haven’t received them). The receptionist had said 2 weeks when we dropped them off. By the time it had been 3 weeks I called and they told me it took about 3 weeks to get them back. By the 4th week I called again and then they said it takes up to 4 weeks. They also would get upset when I would call to follow up by saying “if we had them we would’ve called you”. We won’t be getting our glasses here anymore.

The team is absolutely amazing! We brought my stepson in for his first eye exam and they were so great. The Dr was thorough, and the office staff were all so friendly. I feel terrible for forgetting the womans name who helped us pick out his glasses because she was so awesome. She took the time to explain to him how to take care of his glasses and really understood him. Thank you all for making his first experience wonderful!

I love that this office has friendly staff, a thorough and friendly doctor, and current technology, they even have a machine that will scan your eye so you don’t have to have them dilated. The doc explains what the different things test for; how the glasses will benefit you, etc., if needed or whether a new prescription can wait. The staff is super helpful with picking out new frames and will tell you if it doesn’t look just right, even if the cheaper one is the one that looks the best. They will tell you that. So you don’t feel as though you’re being taken advantage of. I highly recommend this office for your eye care needs.

With the exception of last year and the year before I’ve been going here for most of my adult life. This place is awesome. They have the latest technology and most of the exam is automated. For the most part you won’t have to sit there all day trying to guess which lens is the correct one. By the time you get to see the doctor he usually already knows what to do and will fine tune your prescription as needed.It looks like Dr Jacobs has retired and is no longer in charge, but Dr Yoo runs everything pretty much the same way. I honestly didn’t really notice much of a difference.

I love this place. The girls in the front office are friendly and fast and there is enough staff to help everyone. They are great at helping to select the perfect lenses and good with follow up and adjustments as needed. Dr. Jacobs is super knowledgeable and sweet. I felt like a number from the time I made my appointment, to confirming my appointment (3 times in two days) to walking in. The only exception was Dacid who was terrific. Dr. Kim was rushed, somewhat rude and didnt have a great patient-oriented manners. Thw front desk was foxuawd on anything but the patients (socializing with each other). We all have bad days but it was like EVERYONE in the office was having one. No thanks...My mom had her eye exam (with a different optometrist office) just three days later and it was amazing. She had a fabulous experience with helpful technicians AND her glasses (which are more complicated than mine) are due in half the time.I think I found my new wow doctor... And its not you.

I have had a very positive experience every time I have been there. Dr. Jacobs really takes his time with you as a patient. He explains everything in detail and listens to all questions and concerns. I have never felt rushed through my visit, and I have been there during a busy time and not so busy. My husband & I have been going to Dr. Jacobs for a few years now. He and his staff are amazing. Very friendly, professional & skilled in what they do. We have never had a complaint. We first went to him because I felt like my former eye doctor had been trained in a concentration camp. I dreaded going to him because he would pry my eyes open to put in drops & run tests and it was very, very painful. Dr. Jacobs has the latest technology & there is no prying or pain. Absolutely loved my visit. I scheduled an eyeglasses as well as a contact lenses exam, but Dr. Jacobs explained to me why contact lenses were not a healthy option for me, and so he didnt examine me for that, saving me about $150 just off the bat there. I think thats the sign of a good doctor in private practice. He was very personable and great at explaining the way the state of the art technology he uses helps him provide very precise exams and prescriptions. He also took the time to talk to me about my astigmatism, which I didnt even know I had, and how that affects my vision across different settings, and provided me with hand outs on tips and facts about keeping our eyes healthy through preventative care. Will go back to him as long as Im in Ventura County.

There was an issue with some glasses that I ordered and she kept me up to date on the latest details, went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied, and just really went the extra mile for me. Took my daughter in for an eye exam. As usual, I was greeted by the sweetest front desk staff, Monica, Debra and Lou who immediately took care of us! My daughter was taken in for her tests with Dave, who always is so thorough. Then she was taken in to see Dr. J. As per my daughter, Dr. J went through her exam very carefully and thoroughly and made her appointment fun and informative! He delivered the good news to us that she gets to start wearing glasses with an upbeat positive delivery! We were then taken care of by Debbie who took the time to help my daughter pick out the perfect pair of glasses that look beautiful and really match my daughters funky personality! She was given the fashion OK by Renee which sealed the deal! The selection of frames is absolutely beautiful and very diverse! We had A LOT for her to choose from!! They have everything in there (I had fun looking around and trying on lots of beautiful sunglasses for my next trip!) Anyway, my daughter is very excited to start wearing her glasses in school, which is so different from when I was a kid and it was embarrassing. We were so well taken care of by everyone in the office and highly recommend this office to anyone who needs ANYTHING for their eyes. I have years of experience with this office and I am always impressed by the level of knowledge and good patient care and customer service they all deliver on a daily basis. I have been going here for years and I have always enjoyed the staff and Dr. Jacobs. He always makes me feel like family. I have moved away from the area and have been struggling to find an optometrist that lives up to this place. Many have let me down, so I have decided that it is worth it for me and my family to travel 3 plus hours one way to have our eyes checked. He will show me photos, make a diagram, or what ever it takes to answer my questions in a way that I can completely understand. Dr. Miran Kim Is rude. Not only does she feel the need to interrupt when you address a concern it’s like she gets upset that you have a question or that you ask for clarification. I took my son (7 years old) to see Dr. Jacobs and after the exam my son need glasses because he had astigmatism. 8 months pass and my son breaks his glasses, I go back and they do not accept my insurance. So I go to a new optometrist and new patients have to have an eye exam, and what do you know, my son did not have astigmatism. He wore glasses for 8 months without needing them! I was so upset. I felt like Dr. Jacobs just worked my insurance for money.

I have had problems in the past with contact lenses due to the shape of my right eye. Tried different contact soft, semi permeable to no avail. Gave up on them for many years then when I went to Dr.Jacobs he convinced me to try it and with his confident approach I said Yes. I wore the contacts and they are the best Ive had and they dont irritate my eyes etc. Dr. Jacobs is truly the best.

We had a fantastic Dr. My 4 year old daughter was having a hard time going to the eye Dr. She didnt want to look through the machines...However, the treasure chest peaked her interest. My overall experience was very positive, a short notice appointment request was easily accommodated. The office is located where there is ample parking unlike other Optometrists offices I have visited. The front office staff was attentive and helpful with the standard sets of forms for a new patient. Confidence was instilled with the pre-exam technician as the series of tests were performed and questions I asked were answered. My experience with the Dr. Jacobs was very good, I didnt feel like he was rushing through the exam and took time to explain tests and results in plain language.The one area of my experience that could improve was when it came to selecting a pair of frames. My specific need called for safety grade frames, and there were two brands offered. The brand and model I chose seemed to be limited in colors but I did not receive a definitive answer that instilled confidence. What would have helped was a catalog of all available frames from the vendor I chose, which the technician was desperately searching for. I reluctantly picked frames from the two offered that were found on-line from a third party supplier and not the manufactures web site. I subsequently found out from my research after returning home that there were many other frames available that met the safety requirements.
