Great modern library. Good crowd. No homeless and staff are very helpful. Two stories, clean bathrooms, and an outdoor second story patio.

Visited this library for the first time today, and it is beautiful! The librarian in the Childrens Center named Alejandra was very helpful to everyone who entered and even though it was pretty busy she made sure everyone was assisted. We will definitely be back again!

The library seemed large, and I believe that they had a second floor that I didnt visit, but on the first floor, there werent a lot of places to sit. The library seemed to have separate sections for children and teens, and most of the rest of the first floor area was taken up by bookshelves. Since it wasnt too busy, I was able to find a place to work. However, in the corner was a passport service. There were also really loud voices from a number of people, although I see this at a number of libraries these days.

They like to shut off the wifi early, if youre going to be open to 8pm you should serve the public till 8pm. I like to go home too but I dont stop working until my job is done.

They got a good range of books. I went in there for a quiet place to study on my laptop. Downstairs theres not a lot of people and quiet enough, except when kids come in. Parking is good and for long enough, up front is bout 2 hrs. The helpdesk clerks are pretty helpful as well. If you go there please observe library discipline, we appreciate it.

I love this Library. I feel at home I always find something that can take home and today grab a bag for $2 and fill it up with the books on sale which is outstanding. Its a clean Library organized, with wonderful librarians. Take a moment stop by and visit.

Ive been to heavy metal concerts quieter than this place. I mean, there is a fantastic and vast selection of great books, but if you think you will be able to read in peace and quiet, think again. The staff and parents here dont realize that this is a library, not a zoo. Kids run rampant at this library, and thats an understatement. Yea yea, I know theres a childrens area, but if you are on the second floor and can still clearly hear the chaos that is ensuing below (with headphones on!), then we got a problem. Discipline and order are seriously lacking here, with staff and parents. Anyway, happy reading to all! Peace.

Excellent library. staff are friendly and can speak a variety of languages for the people who need it. they also offer normally expensive services for free and hold events regularly. This library well deserves the donations they receive! They have a good collection of awesome manga as well, though i would i appreciate a larger selection. : )

Best. All libraries are good but this library is awesome. The books are well orgnized, the staffs are kind to everyone and try their best to help u, and the restrooms are very clean. I hope the library stays like this. But theres only one problem...they have very little books I like to read like Keeper of the Lost Cities

Structure parking is plentiful and free for hours. The library has a great drop off for used batteries. The library bookstore on the second floor has a great 25 cent section.

Its a very calm and quiet place, the books are well organized. The events held are very enjoyable!!I would recommend this library to anyone that wants to study and have some piece and quiet.

Very nice library. Not sure about their selection but if youre looking for a cool place to study away from the LA heat, there are plenty of seats for you. That is until school is out and the hordes of students fill it up. Pro-tip: Claim a spot before that happens.

I went in to submit a passport application. They take appointments from 5 p.m. To 8 p.m. There is an underground parking structure that is free for 4 hours. The service was fast and friendly. I didnt have the same experience with the USPS passport service. I called about five different locations and visited three with no luck. The hours at the locations were different than the website hours. I highly recommend the Alhambra civic center library for your passport service.

Not very kid friendly. I understand its a library but they have play toys and stuff and expect kids to be quiet. The staff can be very rude with kids. Besides that they have a great collection of kid books

This is great library with a great selection. I wish the selection of Black authors was larger but otherwise it’s great.They follow COVID-19 safety protocols and you can feel safe using this library.

This is a great library. I love the community puzzles. They enforce quiet on the second level, so it’s a good spot to come and focus. Wish they had extended hours every day.

WiFi is crawling slow, plus they shut down the WiFi before closing, so beware you might lose your work like I did.The staff doesnt even bother announcing this over the speakers, I only found out when I asked/complained on my way out. Rigo one of the clerks was oh yes we turn it off 10 min before closing.....Thanks a lot.

Once i went there on sunday, there is no place to study, no desk nor any other area left to study. So, I sit on the floor because I have an outlet with me and I need to refill the charger. The stuff came to me said to leave the library since they don;t have any area left and they dont allow people sitting on the floor too. So, too rude!!!!!!

Its a very nice place, the best library Ive ever been to. Large underground parking lot, so you dont have to park outside in the scorching sun. Spacious and clean outdoor space on the 2nd floor where you can read or relax, comfortable sofas in the corners of the room, computers, and cell phones. Charging is convenient. There are many other reading spaces. I really like it. Even if I have to drive for 10 more minutes, I still go to the Alhambra Library to study, read, and relax.
