Forcing clients to use self check out and still charging top dollar for groceries is insane. Poor quality meat and produce. Might as well just shop smart and final down the street where they still have cashier and similar meat & produce options.

This place is too complicated 🤦🏻‍♀️ I picked three things to buy on sale. Only one was actually on sale. Others were either buy 2 get 2, or digital coupon needed. Why do they make it so hard, maybe because they dont actually want you to save money. Come on Albertsons,working moms dont want to play your games. Too expensive to shop there anyway. Go to Winco instead.

I always have a good experience when I shop here. The girl with the tattoos is always suppper helpful to me. I think her name starts with an R. I’m bad with names. But I like to ask her for help because she doesn’t give me that unwanted feeling I’ve gotten from a worker before. She’s the reason for my 5 stars!

This is my first time rating a grocery store. I used to be a fan of Albertsons. Even though they are expensive. This evening I used the pick up feature. I waited over 8 minute. No one came out, so I called and the teenager who picked up was snotty and rude.Albertsons has to get their shin together.

Just left a cart full of groceries after I asked the cashier if she was open.Noone in line she said No we have self checkout I kindly said No thanks and left my cart full.of items for them to put away.REALLY dont you realize jobs are being destroyed by self checkout.No social skills.for our kids to learn while working customer service!!!!!!Shame on you Albertsons there was literally no one in the lines at 9am and she refused to help me.

The bakery or cake lady, I believe her name was Angela. She was so sweet and helpfull, she did an outstanding job on my cake and offering other suggestions🎂 🥮 🍪🍩🧁🥧 she looked as if she was working all alone there as well, so I really appreciate her hard work ethic and I hope her managers do as well. Its been a long time since this city has had a good bakery location to go to besides Pomona. This is a grocery store and they have standard groceries. They use a membership card system, make you buy 4 or 5 of an item to get the deal, and think Monopoly game is a big deal.

The cashier was complaining about closing at 11 and that store only makes few hundred dollars and that its a waste of labor. Told him I come to this hour because its convenient for me but he responded saying not good for us. Didnt see any reason for why a cashier should say that to a customer that came to just buy food for his familys next day breakfast in the hours he was complaining about, Havent seen this cashier at this time the past few years I shopped here. Awkward and uncomfortable shopping experience.

Melissa, this is for you! Thank you for taking my last minute order for fried chicken. Not only did you save me a headache but you also saved me money by informing me of the different meats. Thank you for also getting my big order done within an hour. I know big orders of fried chicken are usually to be placed 24 hours ahead but I had a last minute hiccup with a caterer and Albertsons chicken was the quickest way we were hoping to fix this small matter. The chicken was freshly coated, hot and fresh when I picked up and ready to go at the time she said. I won’t select the pick up and go ever again. I sat in parking lot for 20 mins. I called three times to let somebody know I arrived in a designated spot for the drive up and go with no answer. I had to call the actual store to talk to somebody for them to also put me on hold for another five minutes. I even checked in with the app to let them know that I arrived, and there was no progression. It just said “getting your order ready” .. I’m pissed.

This is my local Albertsons and Ive only been a handful of times however I always thought it was a bit overpriced. I had to drop in for some milk tonight and the bagger was very enthusiastically telling everyone in earshot that he had been at the store while it was robbed. The pharmacy had been robbed, he had been held up at gunpoint and he had had a knife pulled on him. Apparently these were three different times and when one lady asked him if he was talking about this store, he replied, Yeah, you guys have no idea what happens at this store.So now I will no longer be shopping there 100%. Stay safe guys!

I used to work at this store and the worst thing was they got rid of the self checkout stands. The lines are long just about any time of the day. Management needs to either add self checkout back or hire/schedule more staff. You cant do more with less and not have the resources.

Sadly a very sad looking bakery. Not well stocked, very short selection of baked goods, and no one was around for customer service. Also not enough cashiers to checkout, even during the express checkout. Cashiers have too much time on their hands to chit-chat with other coworkers and showing off their nails. Extremely disappointing and not worth my time to ever comeback. Most definitely will warn others to come shop with caution.

I am disappointed with the tall hispanic crew cut guy, he was putting something on the shelf by isle 12 or 11 somewhere there;I politely approached him to ask if you carry Avian water, he did not look at me, he paused for a good while before responding and said it should be listed on the signage(sarcastic sounding). I felt that he was annoyed that I asked him, perhaps he thinks I was bothersome, having detected his cold and rude disposition, I said I am sorry to bother you; I was aghast at this employees lack of customer service. He had a sour face, he felt guilty when I said I am sorry to bother you and pointed out where about the water was located, he sensed that I was dismayed by his lack of engagement and to show that he values me as customer, thereby assisted me.I always believe that your organization is only as good as your worst employee.I spent $293 at your store today. My son and I happened to be in the area and decided to shop at Albertson since its nearby. I will never dish my money at your store again.When your line staff is failing to even render a smile to an inquiring customer, it is a high indication of this employees poor training or lack thereof.He should not be at the front line, customer will decipher if you are happy to serve, he obviously displayed that he is not happy at work, so customer who bothered him by asking for help where to find an item, triggered his true rude personality.Disappointed!We the North

The market is very clean and plenty of shelved and frozen foods. Everything looks fresh and there is no waiting to get in the store. Prices are a bit expensive, but overall I enjoy going to Albertsons. I especially like there selection of coffee creamers. This location has a Starbucks on site which is always a plus.

This Albertsons gets busy on Sunday and Monday and during the Holidays. I would park in the middle aisle when coming to Albertsons. The aisles are well arranged and easy to find items. There are some employees that are not happy and some are happy. The employees are always willing to help.

Bought 4 packs of coke for $10 digital coupon promotion. Checkout line was super slow, they only had 2 lanes open. The express checkout lady was super slow and talkative. She kept cracking up jokes with one customer and it took her like 7 minutes to scan all her items. She even forgot to scan 3 of her items left on the belt. Chased after the customer to checkout the 3 items. What is worse, when I checked out, I entered my phone number for the digital coupon. Then asked her to confirm if the digital coupon works. All she said was maybe.... I think so. After I checked the receipt, the coupon didnt even get applied. She didnt even tell me. Horrible customer experience. Never coming back ever. Stater Bros and Target have much better customer service.

I went down to this Grand Ave. Chino Hills store to buy propane. It was 8.30pm Christmas evening. Store was not too busy. 3 cashier stations open, 1 station had only 1 customer inline. I waited, when it was my turn cashier told me she has to find someone to help me. I saw a man (30ish Hispanic or Middle Eastern) appeared to be the manager or assistance manger roaming around the front not doing anything in particular. I asked him if he could help me, he said we are too busy doing Propane right now. Well he wasnt, What an arrogant attitude and lack of customer service. As I was starting to exit he still wasnt doing anything.Just a note, a few minutes earlier when I was looking for other items I saw him just walking around the isles. Example of a lazy employee.

Our experience was not pleasant because of an elderly cashier who was complaining at once that the line that were in is for 15 items only, our grocery looks bulky because we have a case of bottled water. We only have 11 items in our cart. I said that you dont even know how many items we have youre already complaining about. She did not even apologize and keep on looking for something that she can complain about. Because of that, I forgot that I was not far enough from the person in my front. The person in my front did not say anything but this elderly cashier said so many things again. In the first place, I will be observant of social distancing if I was not distracted by her complaints.

Get rid of Computer only savings. Everyone does not having scanning. Also, brief employees daily or weekly about whats on sale in their store. And the two Blondes need to work on being a little kinder. I always have a great or at least good experience in this store. The staff is super friendly towards me. I know that they cant stock everything due to the size of the market but the quality makes up for any of those extras I might need or want. I take full advantage of the weekly specials and now the just for u program which I used a lot at the Vons before it closed a few years ago. Ive tried the other local markets but each one has left me feeling like I couldnt complete my weekly shopping without visiting ar least one other place sometimes two additional places.

I am grateful in this month of giving thanks for an amazing employee by the name of Maggie. I frequently shop at this Chino hills Albertsons, on one of my recent purchases there was a discrepancy with one of the items I had purchased. I made another trip to the store to return it but with covid-19 there are no returns. However Maggie did not turn me away she went above and beyond to adjust the discrepancy which I was very grateful for and her kind gesture and her customer service made my entire week! I had the most incredible experience at this Albertsons this afternoon. I didnt realize that my backpack was half opened and had lost my wallet when I went to pay for my groceries. When I frantically told the cashier that I lost my wallet, he immediately spoke to his manager who then told him that one of the employees had picked up a wallet and kept it in the safe box in the office. Sure enough, it was my wallet that the employee had picked up. Thank God!! I couldnt believe it. Not even a dollar was missing from my wallet. Of course, I thanked everyone, especially the employee named Brandon who turned in my wallet to the office. Thank God for honest people!!

I dont live close but only visited it because eggs are on sale and have a gift card to spend. A dozen for 99 cents. Limit 2 per person. Place is kept neat and clean. Although you will always smell blood when walk by the butcher area. Check out speed is acceptable. Parking lot is always pack since there are quite a few shops and restaurants nearby. Recycling center is also in the parking lot.

Went yesterday and took 15 min to get through the 5 folks in front of me. Was a little annoyed that the Albertsons employee who was purchasing items right in front of me in line questioned pricing, which caused the cashier to leave his station to go to the aisle and check and come back. They then took their time while engaging in conversation. Would be nice if mgmt can figure out ways to move the checkout lines more efficiently.Also, I bought some large tomatoes and whoever has put the pricing label sticker strategically put it right over a round rotten area on the tomato... had to laugh at that one

The customer service here hasn’t always been the greatest. This particular day was above and beyond horrendous. The manager on duty Mona was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had to download the Albertsons app to get the deal on the item I was purchasing. The cashier had told me all I needed to do was put in my number. The cashier was very friendly might have been new so my comment is not directed to her. Mona told me I downloaded the wrong app and had me download the other. Finally was able to get the deal, but Mona had me wait while she deleted the entire transaction and start over because she said the cashier did things wrong. I asked her why things were so difficult just to get the deal and she said this is just the way it is. She seemed burdened to help and wasn’t friendly at all. She had an issue similar to mine with the customer in front of me as was equally as rude. Mona told the customer she read the deal on cereal wrong and went back to check. Turned out that the customer was right! My shopping experience at the registers took 15 minutes when it should have been five minutes, especially for an empty store.

I want to give a shout out to the Service Deli. I had their mango habanero bake chicken and the seasoned bake chicken, both of them are to die for. The mango habanero is absolutely fabulous with great flavor. I learned the Melissa prepared and baked the chicken, she did an outstanding job. Along with the great food, Melissa provided excellent customer service. Every time I visit, the Service Deli team has provided great help. I mean. Its an Albertsons. A grocery store. You can do your groceries here. Serves its purpose. A little pricey but fair. Nice and clean, lots of employees so huge line waits are a rarity. Good location too, right across from The Shoppes and its a lot cheaper than the Trader Joes there. Plus the plaza its in isnt too busy. Just some smaller restaurants surround the place.

I had been going to this store for 20 years. I use to enjoy going here. But lately every time Im at the self checkout, the manager comes by to make sure Ive scanned all of my items. This has happened twice. First I didnt realize what was happening but the second time I recognized the signs. Ive never taken anything from here before. They have lost a customer. I just got back from there & while I was shopping I noticed an employee watching me more than twice(she was a middle aged blonde hair woman) then when I get to the register I see that she’s the bagger and she doesn’t say hi which is weird because that was the first time a bagger or cashier didn’t greet me and she walks away! Even worse, to pull out batteries and put them back on their rack!! All just so I can bag my own stuff, which is honestly not the problem, the problem is I know she did it on purpose especially when two employees walked by and looked confused as to why she was playing with batteries and I was bagging. As someone who has worked customer service and delivered great service, that was completely messed up and unprofessional. I don’t know what I did to her to bother me while shopping and make me bag my stuff when that’s her job. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a brown woman wearing a native America shirt but it sure felt like that was the reason why. I’m in a hurry and was getting food for my family because we are on our way camping and it’s sad that I almost let someone ruin my day. I didn’t even get her name but she’s working right now & I will speak with corporate to find out. Albertsons, if this is how you guys train your employees to greet people of color please let us all know so we never spend money there again. I know I wi never come back to a place that doesn’t make me feel welcomed. I’d give Zero stars if I could unfortunately and this is my first ever bad review. This Albertsons managers need better training. I was denied purchasing alcohol because my CA license has a hole punch due to moving to another state. Had my out of state ID and they can’t take that form of Identification along with my credit card showing my photo and name...Really?? Same exact information with photo and birthdate and was denied! Not the friendliest bunch when they first open!! Walked in looking for kids juices for our son, the stocker working in the aisle kept giving us dirty looks (mind you, we werent touching anything, just looking to see what we needed to get) and kept pushing the boxes he was stocking from closer to our feet. While walking with my cart near the meat counter, one of the counter staff was walking with a tall rolling cart which he pushed away from and walked off sending the cart into me-- the guy didnt even turn around, not even at the noise! Just stared at me after I walked by and left his cart in the middle of the aisle!!! The cashier rang up our products and instead of asking if we wanted to purchase bags (we forgot ours in the car) said, well dont you want bags? But at LEAST she said, morning when she saw us! Did not like this store at all. It looks dingy as you walk in and deeper you go into the store, more run down the store looks. Shelves are sparsely populated with lots of empty spots around (not bacause of Covid-19 by the way). Produce quality is sub-par. This has got to be one of the worse Albertsons Ive ever been to. Every cashier I come across is cold and doesnt know the meaning of a greeting or even a smile. Instead they look up at the managers in the glass and make scoffing sounds. This place needs a tune up in customer service and some new staff. 🧐

I came home to Cali to visit from MN. Stopped at Albertsons down the street from my parents house to pick up a bucket honey wings ... a family favorite and tradition for a day by the pool at my parents. They no longer have honey :(( I moved past that to order a bucket of the homestyle and spicy flavored wings and was told they no longer offer the bucket. Now the cost is $7.99 per pound of wings. I passed on ordering. Hope at least the bucket comes back!

I called to see if I could order deli food over the phone and the person I spoke to was very short and spoke to me like I was stupid for reasons unknown. At the end of the conversation I thanked him for the information and he hung up in my face. Very rude phone experience I will see what he’s like in the store when I pick up my food.
