Just visited this store 6/24/24 for some ice cream and nearly every single container was melted and barely cold. Almost every brand in different freezer sections was this way so something happened and no one did anything about it. I wont be trusting frozen food from here again.

Great costumer service, organized and clean. The pharmacy is also great and the staff are helpful. There is a Starbucks inside, which is usually not too busy. The self checkout makes everything easy while I wish the prices was a little lower. Compare to Trader Joe’s I think you end up spending more money.

All I can say is they have the best fried chicken that Ive had in a while, especially from a supermarket. The store is nice and clean and has a big variety of ready to heat up or cook foods for my freshman anteater. The plaza is close to where the housing area that my son lives in and I am very happy that this store is close by.

I have been using Albertsons grocery pickup service for a few months now, and I have been very happy with it. The service is convenient and easy to use.The first time I used the service, I was a little hesitant. I wasnt sure if the items I ordered would be picked correctly, or if I would have any problems when I went to pick them up. However, my concerns were quickly put to rest. The items I ordered were picked correctly, and the pickup process was very smooth.Thank you Cyle for providing excellent service!

Store has a very good selection prices are on average going up just like everywhere.. there are some good deals to take advantage of.. store is always clean and employees are always helpful.. only complaint is that there are often not enough registers open and sometimes not able to use self-checkout because of the items that Im buying require a cashier Clerk to do the transaction..

Unfortunately we dont see many Albertsons stores around anymore, and each time Im nearby I love to walk in here. Its always squeaky clean, neat, stocked, and great service. Besides the usual Albersons hot foods and bakery section they have a sushi bar, and its fresh, As it is prepared on the spot, with high turnaround. Definitely I recommend this store vs others in the area

Pretty solid Albertsons. they have a good selection of merchandise and food in there. you can usually find what you need because the layout of the store is designed so efficiently.they even sell crutches if someone you know sprained their ankle, and at a decent price being able to get something so helpful on demand and not having to wait for them to deliver it its really convenient and appreciated.they have decent prices on decent quality dog food as well.

This place is freezing cold, I felt sick as soon as i walked through those doors the other day, i also saw other people brazing themselves because of the cold, most has been 50 degrees inside there, i called to speak to a manager later and she said they need to keep it that way because their refrigerators arent too good, so i say well am Im supposed to bring a winter jacket and sweat pants just to be in here for 15 minutes while its 80 degrees summer outside? i told her no other store on that same neighborhood has that probably, i rather not get sick so i wont comeback.

I think they are quite expensive for what they offer. I have had bad experiences with the meat here as well. I do not recommend buying any pre seasoned meat. I bought some seasoned pork and once I opened it at home, it had a horrible smell and we through it out because it was rancid. Deli is good when it first opens. Otherwise it tastes dried out and not very good. These are just personal experiences of my own l. However, when they have deals they are usually good and worth it. I shop here because its close to my home. Most of the people working here are great and helpful.

We absolutely LOVE Albertsons chocolate chip cookies! The store is great. It is very easy to find what we need. They have a wonderful selection of produce and it always seems nice and fresh. The butcher is fantastic and the deli is great.... But the bakery really takes the cake! They make the best desserts and cookies!

A go-to for University students for relatively affordable groceries! The staff is very friendly, the selection of food is generally very good (I dont know about the deli situation as I tend to eat more vegetarian than anything), and if you sign up for their weekly adds and use your phone number for purchases, you tend to get good deals/coupons. Also, theyre typically open relatively late at night which is honestly perfect for this University student!

Its very clean here and the staff are kind. I honestly dont shop here too often though since I prefer Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Their Organic section is okay if I need to grab something late at night. Thank goodness theyre open very late! They have a decent alcohol selection. There are usually a bunch of self serve checkouts open so you can get in a d out very quickly.

Pretty cool, I got a good vibe from this place. Great selection and staff are more than willing to help you find anything that you can’t by yourself. The isles are clearly marked and it is easy to find most things. Just a great place for actual grocery’s or a midnight trip when you’re craving Nutella. I feel like I can be silly here and I just get a good vibe from it overall. Love it!

I stop at the bakery department, they have a great selection of cakes, french breads, muffins, etc. The very at the bakery was very friendly, he explain to me what kind of cake I was getting, and offered me extra help. The store was not to crowded, very neat and clean, mask are required . Parking is big and the store us located on Campus drive and Cornell street, only a few blocks from UCI.

This is a great store. Theres more selection for food and produce than Target, but more expensive.For anyone else from northern California, its identical to Safeway, to the extent that your same membership account will work, just enter your phone number at checkout.I also recommend getting the app and scanning all your items, you may get many more great discounts.

Ive been shopping at Albertsons for twenty years. Ive seen more changes over the last two years than in the twenty years combined, but the store seemed to keep up, so I continued to shop there occasionally, but went elsewhere for awhile. The store is now the best its been for a long time and Im back shopping full time. For me, its about friendly employees and customer service and Albertsons seems to have gotten that right recently with more accommodating and personable employees. They have made alot of aesthetic improvements as well, including refrigeration with doors which keep dated items cold and fresh. They have an amazing organic section for fresh produce and the prices are very reasonable. I am able to get many items at this store that are not available anywhere else. Their deli and bakery offer some unique options, including pumpkin and chocolate chip cookies that are out of this world and real crowd pleasers throughout the year.

A good hypermarket, assortment, prices, everything is fine, but today there was a small problem, we will survive, but the cashier is sincerely sorry, on some products there is a sticker with a 30-40% discount, and so this sticker is not read by the scanner, what she just didn’t do, and so, and that, and awry, as a result, out of 6 positions, with great difficulty, I broke through 3, we were in no hurry, but the people in the queue are nervous as always, the cashier is also nervous because of this. Make normal stickers so that the buyer can buy and the cashier can easily scan this sticker.

Pretty close to UCI campus and housing. Thats big convenience. Also here you can find almost everything. This place is good for food items. Doesnt sell halal items though. I went to this location to send a Western Union wire and I was helped by Carmen. She asked for my phone number, and I answered 949-4..., before stopping and remembering that I did not want to use my mobile number. I then proceeded to give her another number (my Google voice number) which I had written down. She then asked for my drivers license. Now....having sent a wire at another location closer to my house just a few days ago...I was already aware that Carmen didnt need to register a Western Union account using my information. Since I didnt want her to do that I asked her not to. She insisted that she had too. I explained that I had sent a wire a few days ago from a Pavilions and that that agent told me that it wasnt necessary. Carmen said the agent was doing something illegal. Then, in an exaggerated manner, said that she was uncomfortable and evidently became suspicious of the transaction. She said I was giving her different information (this because I initially chose to use my other number). She called a manager which made to feel uncomfortable. The manager, whos name I do not recall, took the time to listen to me and was understanding of the situation; kudos to him. I asked if he could proceed with the wire himself since I didnt want to deal with Carmen any longer. He couldnt but he called Felix, another employee, to finish everything up. After listening to me explain the situation, Felix agreed that there WAS a distinction between inputting my personal data in order to send the wire (which I was okay with since it was necessary) and registering the account with Western Union.Ive had information compromised in the past (data breaches). I do not like giving out anymore personal information then is at all necessary. Registering an account with Western Union isnt necessary.Management: Carmen either shouldnt be allowed to handle Western Union wires or she needs to be trained on how to speak and listen to customers.

This may sound surprising, but their fried potato wedges in the deli are the best Ive eaten. Their Mac&Cheese is considerably good. I would say the whole shopping experience will be pretty nice, since there isnt usually a line. The groceries are quite pricey though, suggest just to buy essentials.

Absolutely baffled by what took place during my shopping experience at the grocery store never in my life has Ive been treated so poorly or picked out and discriminated against I truly do not understand what happened or why I still question it to this day I tried to go in the store last week and the same employee is working there obviously nothing has changed I understand everybody has bad days but I was truly picked out discriminated against and harassed for absolutely no reason I would love to get video footage from security just the simple matter I am not a thief nor would I ever steal a travel-size shampoo an employee said she caught me stealing travel-size shampoo keep in mind I was at the store with my mother! Their fruit and vegetables are awful. Their organic selection is even worst. My wife and I have been buying here for over a year and we have to drive the extra distance to Whole Foods now because at least their fruits and vegetables don’t go bad the same day you buy it. I don’t know where this place gets its produce from but it’s extremely low quality. We try our best and inspect before we buy, even then we get home and cut open the produce to find out it’s bad.

Had the worst Western Union customer service today In Albertsons on campus drive while trying to send money. I had everything set up online beforehand to not spend any time in store, but my wait time was tripled because another employee on duty (Name tag said Maria) was picking up money while not in the line. Dissappointing to see people pile up behind me, wanting to get help but they practically were busy assisting each other.

It’s a grocery store like any other chain. Points off cause when I was here a couple weeks ago, their cashier network went offline and no one was there to fix it nor knew what to do to get someone to fix it. As a result customers had to just leave their groceries there and leave. That in my mind is the epitome of disappointing customer service.

Albertsons is a nice store in the Campus plaza. It has almost all of the grocery items and the prices are also compatible. Automatic payments kiosk are the new addition. This has made the checkout process much easier and quicker.

Albertsons at campus has been a very frustrating experience. I am disabled and unlike all the other supermarkets I deal with does not and apparently will not keep the riding carts for disabled people near the entrance. I have contacted the management and the corporate office with the fact that upon entering the store I have to ask someone to get it. They park them in the back and a person like myself must wait until someone gets it. For me and others the ability to stand and wait is a pain filled experience.

Helpful Employees & Well Stocked.Funny one time years ago, I came in for some things with My Sister and I was in line and the Young Dude in front of me struck up conversatuin about the song playing on the radio in the store and we started talking about Rock & Roll.We were talking about The Greatest Bass Players and Drummers of all time and had a disagreement.Lady behind me in line agreed with me and they had a separate debate I chimed in a bit. (It all happened so quickly).I Recognized Her Almost Immediately and She Quickly Noticed that I Recognized Her and She put her finger to her pursed lips in a Shhhh..!!! Albertsons doesnt hold a candle to stater bros, but theres a lot of people that have worked there their entire life and do a darn fine job. A couple of the older ladies there are utter Bs, im sure if youve been there you know who im speaking of. However, the deli is really good, its closer to campus than wholesome choice, and the flower / plant area has a lot of pretty things quite often.

Its honestly better to drive to the vons a few miles away. This albertsons has ridiculous prices that are meant to exploit college students. I can actually buy many things from the nearby vons for half the price. It is actually cheaper to go to vons and spend money on gas if you plan on spending more than $20.
