I am writing this review to say how much I appreciate the cashier I had yesterday. The name on my receipt says Maggie E and she was just wonderful. I had clipped a coupon for $1.97/lb chicken on the app but it didnt come off on the receipt and she was nice enough to help me and refund the money I was overcharged. I appreciate great customer service like this. Thanks again Maggie E.

So my client shops her.He does all his business there banking pharmacy and food shopping.He had just gotten out of the hospital.He asked an employee where something was .The idiot worker told my client he was doing something.He was on his watch.I just saw the idiot worker .He has such a bad disposition.Also pharmacy is great banking is great .Just employees at this market suck .My experience. Love this location. The people here are nice and friendly. They have a clean environment, and the aisles are much bigger and wider than Ralphs. The stores are very neat and bright. Location is close to petsmart, El Pollo loco, McDonalds, Costco and others small restaurants.

Worse albertsons ever. Hires prejudice staff. Never friendly with anyone of color. Multiple times ive had to complain to corporate about the service I received from different staff members. And witnessed a staff harassing a young black lady trying to sell chocolates for donations, telling her she could not do that. Which is weird because i have seen multiple salvation army (non black) people asking for donations ALL THE TIME without being told they have to leave. I never go to this albertsons unless its an emergency and when i do go i am always greeted with the same vibe. Very unprofessional and poor customer service

I ordered something at the bakery and i specified that i would pickup at 2 no later than 5 the next day. I came and tried to pick up my order at 2 and she was like 5:00 was written down, never mind the fact that she did not take the order so she can’t attest to what was actually said and i know what i said. Specifically, It was a hispanic lady with a bang and glasses. She was rude and had a attitude with me complaining about how she is the only decorator and i need to wait until 5. I would’ve not had a problem waiting until 5 but her attitude and energy was so unprofessional and bothered i ended up just calling back and canceling the order because I don’t need service from someone if they are going to be disrespectful when i can go somewhere else and get it done. I understand people have bad days and are frustrated and maybe the time and communication was lost in translation, but getting a attitude is not the way to handle things. 😠

This store charges EBT customers for bags.This is from the government website:If I am using a WIC payment card or voucher or an EBT card to pay, do I have to pay for a bag?No. Stores are required to provide a reusable grocery bag or a recycled paper bag free of charge to customers using one of these payment methods.

Bait and Switch. Scam!!! The Supermarket send out the ads that certain items is on sale for $4.99. When I got there its list $7.99, I double checked it with the check out price scanner and still shows $7.99. Either this place is running unethical practices or they dont have the inventory in stock. It seemed like they just try to lure you in but never have the item that were advertised. That is misleading consumers!!!! I will never fall for this trick ever again. And you shouldnt too. And I will never come back to this place. There are other supermarkets that doesnt deceive people. And there are many others in this area that has better prices. And besides all the prices in this place is way higher than other supermarkets. Prices here are same as Wholes Food. Also selling expired items.

I regularly shop here and normally will buy the hot fried chicken they sell and just recently I found feathers inside the fried chicken I bought. It put me off my appetite. Other than that, I normally have a good experience here.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at this location today the lady working the self check out, tried to accuse me of stealing items before I was even finished Scanning my items. She started going through my items one by one checking them on the computer taking my vegetables out of the plastic bags with her bare hands after touching money. I shop very frequently at this Location and have never experienced such disrespect. I hate to post a complaint because I’m not that type of person, but this was just unacceptable.

Overall, the prices were fair. Prepared foods were a bit pricey, but the ribs and meatloaf were delicious. The checkout line was very slow, especially if someone brought coupons. The parking lot has shopping carts scattered around as there was no pen for customers to leave them, so they end up piled in the Handicap parking spots and walkway.

Tried to ask for help to find a few things and was told by 3 different people stocking items I dont work here. So apparently only the cashiers and baggers are actually employees, and of course, theyre busy. Finally, someone at the self checkout saw I was struggling and helped, then was told the store didnt have any of the items I was looking for, despite them all being listed on the website.

What is going on with this place? Isnt this a fire hazard? They locked the left side entrance at 7pm today! And saw alot of people trying to enter from that side, including handicap people!! Thats not right. Will talk to the manager next time I go... They should put a BIG sign outside saying its closed!1/6/20 once again they dont tell you they close the left side! 8pm! More and more people go to that side! Cant management post a sign outside telling people its closed!?!4/11/21 Once again they lock the left side without a sign on the outside! Today I went into the store and witnessed someone at the store harassing a Black customer and following him around. The customer rightfully got upset and the man working did nothing to fix the problem though he was clearly in the wrong. Sad to see that people are being followed around the grocery store in 2024. It was a traumatizing experience for me and I no longer want to shop at this Albertsons.

Long lines and only 2 open registers. Many employees were walking around, but they couldnt seem to find anyone to help the cashiers. I dislike the self check out and will not use them. I do not support the complete removal of jobs by automation when there is nothing beneficial for me. We dont have cheaper prices, we are not getting better service. They are outsourcing those jobs to US the CUSTOMER without compensation. The last time I was there waiting in line when an employee asked me to use the self checkout. I informed her that I would only use it if she handled the hole thing, scanning all my items, bagging it all up, and taking my cash. I will never use self checkout.

Visited August 19th at 5:30pmI had made a specialized order from this location specifically because it was closer then the Arcadia location. I have been a loyal Albertson customer since I was a child. My aunt worked for the bakery in Northridge and ever since then I only order my cakes from Albertsons. However, during this order that was placed in the bakery, I am very disappointed. Once I have arrived, I went straight to the bakery, only one person working in the bakery department but was originally working in the meat/deli department. She had asked if we are here for pick up and I stated yes. She went to grab my cake and with one hand holding, the associate asked have we paid for it yet. I told her no, which I found odd because at other Albertsons locations they allow you to view the cake first and hand you the cake tonpay up front im check out. I didnt mind to pay at first because I know what I was getting because of previous purchases I made at other albertsons location. I guided my way to check out, paid for my cake which was $18.99, once I arrived back at the bakery section, I had to wait again due to the associate helping someone with an order. Once she was done, she came over with my cake, I don’t like to complain, however, when I recieved my cake, the frosting was pushed off to the lid as you can see in the picture I have attached. Literally the cake was ruined on the side and I told the associate I paid $18.99 for a ruined cake. Why is it messed up, she responded, I just put the lid on and her hands up like this emijo 🤷‍♀️. She said if i wamt to speak to manger go to the front. She did not page one for me, I had to find another associate to call for a manager that worked in the floral section and the liquor manager had passed by as well. They paged another manager i belivee his name is mike. I was told by the associate that there is no one to fix it, and that i should pick out a cake thats made and that i can that cake home along with my messed order and a refund. However when mike showed up, he said i had to leave my messed up cake for proof and only be accredited 10 dollars when i paid 18.99 and i jad to chose a cake that i did not want. I was upset due to the fact it was for event placed that day and special order and I could not get it fixed or redone. I still took home the messed up cake due to the fact i had to special request it and had to fix it when i got home to the best my ability because when lid came off so did the whole side of frosting where you can see the actual layer of vanilla cake. They refunded my money, but still i am not satisfied because it was not my fault but there own and should have gave me another cake for my troubles or something due to the fact that it was a huge inconvenience for me and husband for our sons birthday party. I was told to call the bakery Manager Veronica, the following day so they can work something out. I called Friday and Saturday at 1pm, and the associate who answer says to me both days that she is not in. It was very inconvenient and upsetting. I would not recommend ordering your cakes here due to the fact after 3pm no one can fix it and expect you to pay for a messed up cake before even seeing it or fixing it. I rather drive 3 more miles to the Arcadia location, or in the sam fernando valley area where they cakes are never messed up and allow you to see your cake to assure everything is correct. This is not the first time it happened that day neither, they had did it to previous customer as well. So i highly recommend ordering at another albertsons location.

Almost every time I choose an item that is marked on sale, or at a lower price, it NEVER rings up on sale at the register. When you alert the staff to the problem, they are bothered and annoyed that they have to research it. Stop overcharging your clients that is a violation of CA State law. I am surprise the Department of Weights and Measures has not fined you yet.

Bakery Department is excellent! Greg Jr. pulled out all the stops for us and you can tell he cares about making his customers cake orders the best way he can! Wish I could give him 10 stars for his expertise. He is so patient and gave great ideas to make our order come out better. One of the cashiers at this location was incredibly rude to my mother.She need assistance with using the Albertson app with a previous time purchase for the 10$ off coupon you get for using the app and While I understand employees are in no way obligated to help people with technology there was no needed for what that employee proceeded to do.The employee by the first name Chris and last name starts with Riv*** proceed to shout and chase her out of the line. The normal and polite thing to do would have been to say it is policy that employees do not touch the personal belongings of customers or sometime professional along those lines. I have no clue if there is such a policy but even without a policy you can politely refuse to assist with the customer there is no needed to shout someone out the line in the way he did. she even barely interacted with the person.she wanted to get out of the line to let other customer go first because she could not locate the 10 dollar coupon on the app since the employee was not going to and she wanted more timeshe went in line to pay for her items knocked one item over but up righted it then say if the employee could help with using the app but he looked at her then say she did not need to buy the items and to get out loudly while embarrassing her publicly for barely even talking to the employee. The employee decided that she does not need to buy the items for her.Im sorry my mother is not technology savvy enough and I get that they might be having a bad day working a low wage job but seriously if talking to a elderly woman of 73 asking for a tiny bit of help and you cannot even politely interact with people then maybe do not work a job as cashier or any job that requires interacting with other human beings.From other low star reviews on google I see that My mother is not the first one to have problems with employees at this AlbertsonsTL;DR: find another Albertsons it seems the way they hire people at the one in Alhambra they either overwork some of their employees or some of them cannot handle human interaction. Some of the employees at the deli/bakery were very polite to my mother though. Her only real complaint was the cashier working during the evening.Edit: making sure information is more accurate after I went back the next day.

The flowers here are wonderful and the strabucks workers are amazing but The management here is very bad like there are hard workers and then some young lazy ones but the store could improve with better management. and The restrooms are always very dirty. I gave 2 stars because Ive had a couple good experiences at the deli, but checking put has always been a nightmare. I was waiting and the lady helped a blonde lady then a blonde man before me. She had them go around me like I was invisible. Then when she was helping she kept asking for her break and ignored all my questions. I went to man for help. He went to help the section I was in. Maybe he would of helped me, but another woman took his place and she wouldnt even communicate with me and even yelled at me when I was grabbing my card. I cant believe how rude people are. I know its really hard to work st a grocery store. Customers are usually unfair and they even dirty the restroom and pee everywhere. But at least be nice to the customers who come in a good mood and treat the workers with respect. I almost left in tears. I just felt so awful when I left and I was never helped for the one thing I needed help with and I was treated really bad the whole time.

The first problem all there motorized scooters were dead. I have a broken foot which makes it difficult move around and I had a item to return. The first lady told me another lady will be right with you and she took off another lady came to the back and then she starts helping another worker and I told her I was here first and I need it elevate my foot because I was moving around so much and I wasnt able to use a scooter. She told me she was off the clock and she cant help me and then goes and continues to help the other worker there. Then a couple minutes later another lady came and helped me and she was wonderful but workers should make sure the scooters are charged for people that need them and to have a better customer service to not be behind in the customer service area if you are off the clock and helping other Associates you work with.

I just had an embarrassing situation at this Albertsons. I had a gift card on my phone (mind you, I use gift cards at Vons and other Albertsons and never had a problem before) but for some reason I was singled out at this one. The female night manager would NOT let me use my gift card on my phone. She said it was because of fraud. I had a line forming behind me and my wallet was in my car. I felt embarrassed, weirdly ashamed and singled out. Why would this store not allow for gift cards on the phone but the others would?

Good grocery store, average mid to high price for a grocery store. Minus 1 star for not having some of the items I was looking for in the isles they should be at, but other than that, pretty good experience overall. If Im in the area again, Ill come back and shop. 😁👍Update: 04/08/2023I came in today to order some cupcakes for my kids birthday. i was helped by Greg and had an awesome experience. The bakery department gets a 5 star rating for the fast service, plus Greg went over the flavors they had as well as the variety of frosting colors, which was awesome.So im changing my star rating to 5 even though i did do a bit of shopping and did experience certain items that should have been on the same shelf instead they were two isles away, lol!Anyway, its not a huge deal, but i guess im just going to have to get used to the way Albertsons does things here.

This particular Albertsons had signage that was difficult to see from the street, it was sort of hidden. Store was clean and well stocked, however the restrooms were a mess. It seemed odd that the restrooms were messy yet the store looked nice. Very odd. While at the checkout line my wife noticed the cashier was wearing a mesh facemask and she kept touching her face. This made us a bit uncomfortable. Other than that personnel was friendly and helpful.

Sick in bed with bronchitis and needed medicine and food today, so ordered delivery of food and non-food items from Albertsons Alhambra. Entered EBT info to pay for food and debit card to pay for non-food & fees. However, ordering system charged my debit card the full amount and charged my EBT card zero. Both Customer Support and Order Processing could not assist. My only two options were: (1) cancel and reorder, paying more for rushed delivery, or (2) go in person to store to have them do the adjustment. Since I’m sick in bed (hence the delivery order) my only choice was to let the full charge to my debit card stand. Very frustrating. Not a happy customer.

I enjoy this grocery store as much as I did back when I was a child. The large array of fresh produce and quality level Meats never cease to surprise me. I never disappointed towards the quality did provide at the prices I could enjoy. As of recent they started providing fresh cut Sushi, which is a bonus.Along with the high quality food and produce, the staff provide great customer support and assistance. If youre around the area I would recommend you coming over here to buy the fresh vegetables. A great place to shop

5 stars for the Deli, great prices and selection.Subtract one star for the poor selection in fruits, so limited and overpriced.Subtract one star for the prices being rung up incorrectly, but customer service was quick to correct it, should I have noticed that the cashier also charged the same item twice, now I have to go back to the store for a refund - waste of time, that takes another star.Great store if you only go for the Deli and promotional specials, skip the fruit selection and make sure the cashier charges the correct prices and times.

This Albertson has a lot of points of interests inside. It has DMV kiosk for simple registration transactions. It has Starbucks with a lot of choices of cups to select from. It also has the pharmacy that provide Covid-19 Vaccinations. The Albertson itself is very busy most of the time, even at the closing hours. It has a lot of choices of liquor and snacks or chocolates. What can be improved is the service from the employees. They should be more helpful and nicer. Once, I approached a femaly attendant to ask a question. She didnt even stop but answering me while walking away. Thats very rude in terms of respecting others especially customers.

Good selection an great employees always ready to help with anything you need an they have no problem showing you exactly in the store the item your looking for is. They dont just tell you an isle the actually bring you to where it is. If it happens to be out of stock, they will have no problem going to the back to look for whatever you need. I have been to many grocery stores an this one here is by far my favorite just for the fact that the employees are super helpful an they always have exactly what im looking for hands down the best I can think of. Thats the only reason why Im leaving this giant message. All in all a great place

This store is getting worse and worse. The produce is rotted and wrinkled and gross. The workers go out of their way not to help you. They will literally point you down the wrong aisle if you ask for any help and they act super put out if you ask a question. Not a great place to shop.

I shop in the Alhambra Albertsons once a week. Great experience till this morning at the deli section. One bad apple ruined the fantastic reputation built by the entire team.She ignored me while she saw me waiting patiently. Instead, she kept servicing customers walked up to the counter after me. I was thinking: does she want to tell me to go to another grocers instead?Rest of the crew witnessed the encounter and Ana stepped up and helped me. There was a good shepherd.

They do not honor their Just For U ads. The General Mills Cereal 8.9 -12 oz for 99 cents is BS. The only cereal available within the weight requirement was the regular Cheerios in 8.9 and 12 ounce boxes. So I took 3 boxes (limit 6) of the 12 oz size to the checkstand and they said this is the wrong size and it should be the smaller 8.9 oz box. I asked why cant I get the 12 oz box? I showed them the add and they said it does not scan for the 99 cent price and I could only get the smaller box. I went yesterday to grab one item. When I got to the register the cashier was wearing one of those lace masks. She also kept pulling it over her nose like it was doing anything. It made me super uncomfortable especially with the times were living in. Came in to inflate some balloons i waited about ten minutes it seemed like none of the staff wanted to inflate the balloons so they told me that its better to buy the balloons that are inflated already. I am giving a 1 star because the manager, Alicia, was rude with another employee and when I told her that an item I had bought had a different pricing label on the shelf she was angry and rude. She told me that I was wrong, even though there was clearly a different price when I showed her. That is a fraud because she wanted to charge me more than the item actually was. I’m upset. I witnessed a manager yelling and mocking an employee. He started yelling at her, I didn’t understand why but then she got upset with him and said she will not lift heavy boxes while pregnant. He mocked her because he obviously didn’t think the boxes were heavy but she said she asked someone else for help and she is waiting for them. I don’t understand why he couldn’t have done it himself, or been understanding and patient with her. I asked another employee for his name and they said his name is Eric. And when I asked, they said a lot of employees have troubles with him. Dude needs to learn better management when it comes to employees.

This store is a nightmare last Friday the cashier was so busy with an employee and a customer that was looking to get a refund that she didnt give me my change I made the choice to not go back for $2 that is on me. And this morning I went to self-checkout the machine was saying for like 10 minutes help is on its was loud and clear I was on the phone then after waiting patiently. I asked the cashier if someone can please help me she replied with (I asked you, but you are on the phone.) Why should I ask you for help if the machine is screaming (help is on its way!) This is one of my favorite supermarkets, especially now that “regular “, non-Asian ones are becoming few and far between in this part of the SGV. I’m not saying that I never have reason to visit Asian markets. They often have very fresh seafood, unusual produce, and housewares that I wouldn’t know where else to find. But back to Albertsons...This store has a good selection of all kinds of merchandise. The everyday prices seem a bit high, but I like to check out the bargain aisle, where I always find some incredible deals. They’re not always things I can’t live without, like makeup and household gadgets, but the prices are so low, if it’s not something I need, I sometimes purchase them as gifts if they’re appropriate.The customer service is really excellent. I recently left my phone in a shopping cart(I wasn’t even worried because I thought it was in my fiancé’s truck). I’m not sure who turned it in, but I am very grateful to them. It was turned in to customer service, and when my fiancé called and thought he had a wrong number, an employee named Maribel explained that I could pick it up at customer service. She was really kind and helpful. She has an iPhone also, and she was so nice she actually charged it for me, so when we called, somebody could answer and let us know where it was. It really makes a difference when people are kind and conscientious. If she hadn’t been so obliging, the battery probably would have died and I would have never found my phone. I went to this Albertson on commonwealth, Alhambra, CA 91801, This morning. It was not satisfied experience for me. It seemed the employees were not like to be asked by their customer. I was asking where is the butter at and the lady who was in the bakery section she just raised her hand pointing to other side, and she said at the corner with loud voice and not even looking at the person who asked her. I used to come to this Albertsons alot with my family when I was young, I specifically remember that the potatoe wedges were my all time favorite. I recently moved back to Alhambra and decided to come back to the same place my parents brought me. I should have just stayed home instead, the rudest cashier acted like I was interrupting her conversation with the bagger when I was just trying to buy some baby supplies. Never in my 20 years have I had such rude service at this Albertsons. She even went as far as to ask if I was going to pay for my bread when she hadnt even cashed me out or rang it up. Thats the last time I talk to a cashier if I ever come back.
