The store was very clean and organized. There was a nice gentleman in the frozen food section that was very helpful. We found everything on our list,which was great. I was so happy when I saw they now carry thrifty ice cream, chocolate malted krunch flavor. Its my favorite of all time. Our cashier Alyssa was friendly and efficient.

1000/10. Clean, friendly, very in selection, organization, etc. In the parking lot, it is very clean and parking available. When i first walked in, there were many disability scooters that worked for customer use. A very nice quality Starbucks, nice employees, plenty of Starbucks merch, beautiful cups, not long wait times. There is a stand for fresh flowers, balloons, gifts, etc. The flowers are bright and colorful, and there is a bank or atm inside if necessary. Very nice movie selection on low prices, even very new blockbusters! The vegetables are AMAZING!!!!! FRESH, CLEAN VEGETABLES that were beautiful and fruitful, and bountiful. The greens were greening and crunching. Delicious 😋!!! It is so hard for me to find good quality bunches of fresh Romaine Lettuce. This store has everyone else beat! There are not many markets in El Cajon or surrounding areas that sells vegetables as fresh as this. Almost Farmers Market quality. I could tell the employees put pride into their work, and have always a good attitudeUsually a sign of good management. Whatever you guys are doing, ur doing it right 💯

This is literally the worst grocery store ever nothing about it makes any sense I was literally looking for items were several minutes with no associates available for help. I had to ask the cashier and made it seem very inconvenient to get assistance to see if the item was in the store. in addition, the parking lot makes you trapped in there and there is nothing more irritating than a parking lot that does not make sense the organization of the food where things are located. Just zero logical sense terrible.

I have been a regular here almost my whole life and after last week that might change, me and my husband came in last week around 4pm ish to buy a few things, we accidently got in the way of a younger worker, his name was Mike I believe, anyway instead of saying excuse me like most of the other young workers Ive interacted with, he just said move out of my way, and I feel like he might of muttered a homophobic slur under his breath, besides that shopping went smoothly until we got to self check out and Rose ripped the basket right outta my husbands hand. so we just left embarrassed of what this store has come to. I will not return! 1 star

I come shopping here all the time but tonight in self checkout around 7:30pm Rosa made me feel uncomfortable after profiling me and that my business was not wanted. If I did not need the $100+ groceries I came in for I would’ve left my basket and been on my way.

I just want to thank Loretta in bakery department, she custom made and designed my sister birthday cake . She did absolutely amazing . Its great how clean they have kept this Albertsons. In my opinion it has one of the better parking layouts too. Theres always a spot somewhere even during holidays.This is one of my preferred grocery stores.John( if thats how he spells it) who works at the deli is incredibly helpful too!

Disappointing! Went daily for a posted advertisement and daily theyre out. Asked for a rain check (last day of the weekly advert) and they refused to offer. I asked the clerk whom cited bait and switch.. They get you into the store assuming its available only it never is. Customer service EXTREMELY POOR! Inventory stock EXTREMELY POOR!!. Store manager said its a headquarters decision and individual site can no longer issue rain checks.. Waste of time!! Was using COSTCO for 20+ years and thought Id use something local. Big disappointment!! Im heading back to COSTCO!!!

This has been my favorite supermarket for decades now. It has everything you will need. My only gripes are when they moved the magazines to in front of the checkers (they moved them back) and now it’s all self checkout in the am. There should always be a checkout lane available. I know it’s a trend but they don’t realize people will buy less if there’s no checker. It is convenient for a few items but if you are going to guard the self checkout line anyway you might as well open a checkout line. This location also has the unhoused trying to steal from them. So you may be there when there’s this kind of altercation between staff and the thieves. Overall this place is clean and the parking lot is huge which is a plus. There was an organized group that was working the parking lot to panhandle but I haven’t seen them lately. I did notice they have added the camera with the flashing lights for safety in the parking lot.

Quick, friendly checkers. Best prices outside of club stores. Always the best produce. Theres a bank, Starbucks, flowers, and you can even buy Lotto numbers! Check your receipts for overcharging on some items. Hey, nobody is perfect.

Really good Albertsons, Alessandra & the security guard are amazing, well stocked on items, self checkouts are great, and there’s also a Starbucks inside the store which you can use EBT on but ONLY on cold drinks. My go to grocery stores. It’s a bit on the expensive side but they always have everything I need. Only thing I would suggest is changing the times on Apple Maps. It says they open at 5am but they don’t open until 6am. Which is a bit frustrating for me this morning due to running out of milk for my babies and already waiting. Otherwise love the place and everyone nice!

Used to only go to my local Ralphs grocery store, its in an excellent neighborhood, well organized, and very clean, and dog and cat food is always cheaper than at Albertsons. About a year ago they moved liquor to the very front of the store and locked it up forcing upon the checkout person another burden and creating for the consumer an unnecessary hassle and increasing the wait time for everybody else in line. Without hesitation I started buying liquor at Albertsons.But its the Albertsons app that convinced me to fullly switch over, I get on the app the moment I pull into a parking spot. Its easy to use, I can place items into a virtual shopping cart to get an idea of what everything will cost, and I always manage to find an app exclusive deal for something I like.

**Check your receipts**I love the convenience of this store as it is super close to my home however about 75% of the time I have go to customer service because of wrong prices or being charged for a bag fee when I provide my own bags. My last visit resulted in being charged bag fee even though I brought in my own and being charged twice for the same item. The checker person was more concerned about going home and quite verbal about it to everyone near her stand.

Its ok, aisles are wide so theres plenty of room. Management is a little worried like the sales are coming out of their pockets. I was buying Arizona drinks, one order for my 84 year old stepmom and one order for myself. It was limit of 24 for the sale price but you can still buy more at regular price. Manager stood there questioning me about it when I told her I was shopping for someone else because I bought 24 drinks for me and 38 drinks for the stepmom. Of course I used stepmoms Vons rewards card for her drinks and my rewards for mine but apparently I look like someone that likes to open multiple rewards accounts or something. She finally left and we finalized my shopping.

I love their selection of pre-made sandwiches. So many different varieties. I wish I had a selection like that at my local Kroger. Parking was easy in their big lot. Plenty of carts and baskets. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to guide me to where I needed to go and even helped me find tourist things to do in San Diego.

I LOVE THIS Albertsons!!! Everyone is so friendly including the security gard. The security guard ALWAYS welcomes me in and Always says bye to me on my way out. The other day I went in not grabbing a cart or basket because I only needed a couple things. Then I passed the juice isle and saw that they had my favorite juice in stock. Mind you they have been out for about two months. I was so excited to see it and grabbed the last four. An Albertsons employee saw me struggling juggling and asked if he could get me a cart and I said, Yes please. So kind to go above and beyond for me. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE 👌.

I ordered Sandwich trays from the Deli and they were delicious! Everyone wanted to know where I got them.Bakery did a fantastic job on my mom’s 80th Birthday Carrot Cake. The cake was just the way my Mom used to eat. The decorations were above and beyond my expectations! The staff in the Bakery were amazing!!

11/18/22. wife had 3 kids and ran through the store. The Cilantro is rotten. Watch for it. Just wish union workers worked has hard as I do being in a local. People need to take pride in what they do. Posting to hope people pay attention. Happy Holidays.

I am very happy with this location. The staff here has never once been rude to me or my family. Whenever I go to the deli section, service is always prompt and polite. At the Starbucks counter, Rory is one of the sweetest employees I have ever had the joy of interacting with. Alessandra is another solid team member. You wont be disappointed with the service here!

Very clean and organized place to shop. There is a Starbucks kiosk. Excellent meat department a lot of variety. Love the bakery section so much to choose from. Great liquor section. There is a pharmacy inside. Fresh flowers sold here. And the sandwich dept is excellent. Produce is great. The checker I had was very rude. She never said anything just had a frustrated look on her face. She did not say have a nice day. Looked like she did not like her job. Very busy store because it is a excellent place to shop.

I havent lived in the area very long, but have only one complaint... how DARE they card me at almost 50! 😄Unless on a clearance sale, stock is promptly refilled and the staff is super friendly and helpful. For instance Id like to point out Dalton, a young man who went beyond his duties to facilitate me and engage in delightful conversation. Everyone employed here is kind, the selection is plentiful and ease of shopping is top rate.If anyone has complaints, they may want to check their expectations of a neighborhood market.

Used the pickup app. The process was quick and easy. They asked how I wanted to handle items that were out of stock so there was no guess work with what I received. We waited about 5 minutes when we arrived for pick up. This is a great option for when you are sick and unable to go into the store or for anyone who doesnt have the time or ability to walk the aisles on their own. If you know you want to use a pick up feature plan ahead because it wont be available immediately it is usually 5 hours or so later.

My favorite place to shop, however, one complaint. I usually go in after work when lots of shoppers go, and I have noticed lately that at the peak traffic time when people are getting food from the deli to take home for dinner, only 1 or 2 people behind the counter with long lines. I usually just skip it and get fast food rather wait a long time when they arent prepared to handle it.

Its not our usual go to store simply because of the prices. Seems that most items that we shop for are a good .50 to a buck-fifty MORE at Albertsons. We went there for a specific item, and ended up buying a few things. The store shelves were full, and they had employees stocking what wasnt full. The store is clean and organized and the cashiers are pleasant.

I use to really enjoy going to Albertsons because the staff was so friendly. Now with the exception of the security guard, who is very nice, everyone else is so sour. Particularly the woman who works the self checkout is unfriendly. I go to sprouts for most thing now. It’s very unfortunate.

This grocery store is seriously ripping people off. Their prices are way too high even on the discounted expiring food cart. They charge at leasts double or more for their food that is way cheaper other places. Need to save money or be mondful of spending then definetly go to a different grocery store. I have no idea why people shop here. Ralphs, walmart, grocery outlet etc. Are all more affordable grocery store where i will continue to shop because i feel like im being robbed every time i shop at albertsons. Never shopping here again !

Good selection on items but still a little too exspensive. Also the store could use better lighting. It is always to dark. I also miss the music that I would hear when I shopped at night. It almost made it worth it it to go at that time of day. It created a much better shopping experience. But now its the same boring music I hear everywhere else. Staff is always nice and friendly. Overall the store is always organized and clean just too dark. And not always affordable. I only shop there for convince or if there is something there that I cant get somewhere else and for less.

This is a very good Albertsons. Clean and mostly good and well trained employees. The store manager smiles and cares. Still good but the security guard is annoying... stands at the door and makes annoying comments about the groceries you buy. Creepy.

The employees profile people here and not only do they have security follow you around, they wouldnt even take my payment method because of how I looked. Whats crazy is when I am dressed like I just got off work, its fine. When I look like a slob in sweats, not so much. They should treat everyone the same. All the time. Just saying. Not to mention, they are beyond expensive.

Ive liked this store in the past but after shopping there today I have to say something. Prices on nearly EVERYTHING in the store have risen. It looks very much like they are gouging us to the fullest extent allowable by law. Plus they conveniently forgot to put the sale price of their shrimp they advertised at $10 a bag into their computer and you never see the sale prices on the check out screen cause the computer only subtracts them at the end of the transaction. So I didnt notice until getting home and examining the receipt for why two bags of groceries cost me $113. I feel very very much taken advantage of and am telling everyone I can. Dont expect me back when the world returns to normal.

Albertsons has gotten better since the beginning of the pandemic. More deals to help out our food budget. Just remember that these stores are best incorporated into your meal planning. They are not a great place for stocking the pantry. And always plan your trip to maximize your savings by trying to get between 30% and 50% at checkout. My favorites here is the deli and the butcher. I usually have to buy hamburger here because other stores sometimes have those hard bits in their grind. The deli has incredible Signature Select meats like mesquite smoked turkey and ham off the bone. They have great chicken tenders and my favorite wedge fries (for those who miss KFC wedges), and these wonderful pasta salads. Lastly, I have been a fan of Lucerne cheeses for over 40 years. They taste better and they last longer in the fridge.

I told the employee I was looking for chicken breast and shrimp on the Friday frenzy offers. She sent me to the deli section which was the wrong place. On the way back to the area with the meat and fishes I asked another employee for the same things. She took me directly to the shrimp and pointed out where I could get the chicken breasts.

Got some sweet deals in the clearance section! Only thing is, theyve got some things in the clearance without price tags and I was going to ask how much they cost but they rung them up and I didnt get my chance. No idea what I even paid for a couple things. Another time I made it home with cottage cheese (which I havent had since preschool iirc), somehow it got in with my stuff and was on the receipt/paid for AND somehow I put it in my CAR without noticing till I was unpacking it at home. I mentioned it on my next trip, and the checker was less than interested. However everyone has been friendly and had a good attitude otherwise. Oh and they had the Rockstar Organic Energy Drink on sale for get this.... 99cents! ★! I bought the whole shelf!

The best store for groceries, banking, and deli and bakery goods. Clean and appealing to the eye. The best meat counter in town. You can buy and send flowers from here. There is little that you cant do for your shopping needs at this store. The only complaint that I have, is parking is limited, but the store is never crowded to make that a big deal. I shop here exclusively now, even though I live about 28 miles from the store. I live within a half a mile of another major supermarket, but it doesnt compare.

I love Albertsons but the ladies in the bakery seems rude, I asked for a simple cake and yet they refuse to do a simple cake that I wanted, took them some time to finally agreed with me. I’ve always order my kids birthday cakes but looks like I’m not coming back for any other orders, Plus I didn’t even bother to order cupcakes. I’ll get the cake this time but it’s going to be the last time.

Very well stocked 99% of the time. This is why Albertsons is my go to for fast, efficient grocery trips. I always stroll through the bakery area to feast my eyes on the sugary, fatty creations, even if I dont buy any. Every once in a while they even sell excess frosting in little tubs. Tip: keep a plastic spoon in your glovebox to secretly consume the frosting before you even get home!

We really like this store and their sister store Vons in Santee. We wanted some fresh shrimp but they were all out at the counter. The attendant told us they were thawing more in the back. We continued with our shopping, and when we returned he already had the 1-1/2 lbs we had asked for wrapped up and waiting for us on the counter. Now THATS customer service.

Their cashiers are very good but the size of their bakery cakes and pies have shrunk down to half the height they were before bc of SUCCUBI in the area telling them what to do, calling themselves operatives and Queen Mothers. Every grocery store is having these same problems. They come in having made themselves invisible with bacteria to contaminate the food and their mop bucket water with their infectious urine. I was actually assaulted inside the store by one & everybody saw it & nobody said one word to me.

If I could give negative stars I would.. I visited this Albertsons on August 22nd at 5:20pm to grab groceries for dinner. During self checkout my girlfriend and I were trying to place our vegetables and fruits on the small area next to the scanner after scanning each item and noticed that there was pieces of flowers and sticky substances from prior customers and their purchases. I ask the man standing there for some bags so we could place our items in the bags before placing them in the designated area in efforts not to contaminate the fresh food items we were trying to purchase. We were told we could not be given bags until after we purchased everything. I was both confused and taken back by his response because I have never been denied a grocery bag in all my years of grocery shopping and not to mention we are all taking extra precautions during this time to keep ourselves healthy and safe. I cannot fathom what reasoning he had for not giving us a bag because if we had brought our own bags as the lady next to us did we would’ve been able to bag our things without his bags regardless. It Can’t be for theft reasons because he was standing directly in front of us. His own two eyes aren’t sufficient enough to prevent theft that he had to hold the bags too? Just makes zero sense. We then asked him if he could at least wipe down the counter space so we could place our items on a clean surface and he responded with. “It’s already clean” we wound up having to go back and forth with this individual before he finally decided to wipe it down but by this time I’m already asking for a manager and come to find out HE WAS THE MANAGER! “Rivan Raven Ravan” he mumbled his name to me when I requested it and had no visible name tag as he had on a jacket over his uniform and I could literally see him smiling and giggling under his mask as the corners of his face pointed upward as ones face does when they smile. The experience we had was absolutely unacceptable from a customer service standpoint we left the store without buying ANYTHING and won’t ever be going back to this store again. I even requested assistance from a nearby co worker in efforts to find someone who had some sense of hospitality but got a very smug response from him as well. This manager did not exemplify the values that Albertsons holds nor should he be leading shifts. As a manager I’m actually surprised to see him standing there playing bag police as if there wasn’t something more worth his pay grade that he could’ve been bringing to the overall production of the store.

Love this Albertsons for its very friendly staff, fresh fried chicken & a great floral department. Joining the rewards club earns points everytime I shop. And with the gasoline discounts at Chevron where these Albertsons points are recognized, Im a happy consumer. I shop at this store whenever I need anything. I actually got one of my covid booster at their pharmacy here as well, skipping the long lines at my primary clinics. Love this store!

Im only marking a five-star on this Albertsons because of their Bakery section. One of their Bakers her name is Shannon. And she was the best employee that Albertsons had at this location. She took the time to help me and my wife to get and make the best anniversary cake or just us two. She spent a little over 2 hours to help us find exactly what we wanted. I would recommend going to Shannon every time.

Albertsons on Old Hwy 80 has a knowledgeable staff, good selection, and is clean and well-stocked. There is a Starbucks inside for either before or after. They also offer dry ice if that is something you are looking for. Their produce goes in waves of ready to eat, under-ripe, and over-ripe; while I understand that problem, I do not want the entire selection to be in the same stage of that cycle as the same time. The parking is a little difficult because of its layout; there is ample space but moving through the lot is sometimes a challenge.

In my experience there have been 2 instances when I noticed expired products on their shelves. The first time I noticed moldy bread and I told someone right away. The second time the product I bought yesterday and it was 3 months past the expiration date. I hope the get better and getting rid of expired products.

Placed order for pickup and got a confirmation but never got a pickup ready email. Went to the store the next day and after finding out that I had to call the phone number for DoorDash pickups to reach a human to ask about my order, I was told were out of that (I orderd 6 of the same item that showed out of stock close to my home, but available at this store.) Person on DoorDash phone at store said it was fault of online ordering site. Called them, they said it was the store who failed. I gave up. Never plan to use curbside at Albertsons again - total waste of time.

The customer service I have recieved from the employees here is AWESOME!!!! I do not remember the specific date it was but Gary helped me. I was buying tuna and I was at the self check out and he came over and said now hold on this tuna is on sale for 89 cents a can with this cupon went and got the amount of tuna I had and saved me some money!!!! Ok ..this albertsons seems to be really high priced compared to other albertsons, I shop all the time for the best deals and this store is the last on my list that I would go to for example halloween, day after, all candy is usually 50 percent off well they had that marked but the price was 15 dollars and original price was 30$, what!! A year into the pandemic and still there is no enforcement of the mask rule, even the security guard at night wanders around maskless, several of the employees stocking mostly wander around either maskless or their masks below their chin. No enforcement of the social distancing rules, why even have the stickers up. Only one to two registers open and no self check-out open at night, ridiculous when you think of how high priced their groceries are, Id expect this from Walmart which is why I stopped going to Walmart during the pandemic

The store is always too dark for me. They could stand to use more lighting. Also the music was really good for a while when I would go there at night. It actually made my shopping experience more enjoyable. Prices could be more competitive with Walmarts on alot of items like coffee and cereal. The selection there is what I like the most. The meat counter is also better then most of the stores in the area when it comes to the quality of the meat. Overall I would shop there more often if the prices werent too high. Again most of what I buy is much cheaper at Walmart which is just as close to where I live. So I only go to Albertsons if there is a really good sale or if I have to.

I wanted to say thank you to Annie in the bakery department. After we ordered a 2 tier cake that ended up falling over from being too heavy due to filings and icing, she had me bring the cake back to her and she completely remade the whole cake within an hour so that it would still be on time for the party. I cant commend her enough. I even tried giving her a tip that she so graciously refused. As a baker and cake decorator I know how hard it is to make time to fit in things that go wrong but she made it happen. Thank you soooooooooooo much Annie, you saved the day. And the ninja turtle cake was a hit!

I shop Albertsons when they have great sales. Boneless chicken breast $1.39 a lbs. Wow what a deal. Hurry sales all most over! I like Albertsons 😎

Close to the house staff is friendly you can usually find what you want Unfortunately today they didnt have exactly what I wanted pretzel rolls and regular frozen chicken wings.

Wonderful shopping here, from Starbucks, to Deli, to Meat counter and Pharmacy! Everyone is professional, courteous, and familiarized with layout. Very helpful!
