The employees here are incredibly kid-friendly. One young man was exceptionally nice and friendly, treating my son as if he were his own. He played with him, made him laugh, and they really hit it off. I want to express my gratitude for his professionalism and courtesy towards children, you rock! Keep up the great work.Regarding the store, it was very clean with open aisles and no clutter. The staff answered all my questions and were phenomenal. I highly recommend visiting and meeting everyone and tell them Katharine sent you! Thanks for everything and all the love. Ill make sure to get names next time. Great job, boss man.

This location sells expired food, double check the expiration date before you bring them home. They make you drag back the expired food to allow an exchange. When I asked for an exchange, not a single apology for their mishap but their attitudes were as if I inconvenienced them. So disappointed. Albertsons used to excel in customer service, not so much anymore, at least at this location. The female employee at the self checkout was very abrupt and borderline rude. I asked if the manager was available and she said no. I truly believe only telling the manager who has power to make changes then the store may improve. This lady asked me what I would tell the manager. I told her I don’t want to repeat myself and only want to speak to manager. She chided me for not telling her. What the hell has happened to customer service? If I don’t want to tell you, I don’t want to tell you, lady. I didn’t want to deal with her so I went to one of the checkout line, low and behold, the manager was doing the checkout. I expressed my frustration and he listened. I just hope something changed at this location.Reading other reviews posted about this store, apparently expired food is a norm here. May be incompetent management is part of the problem. What a shame!Edited: I appreciate your response to my review, however you don’t really expect me to spend the time to complain to your director, do you? Your director if he/she is doing his/her job right, then he/she should be reading these reviews and take action accordingly. If i were working at your store and I want the store to have customers’ loyalty and thrive, then I would talk to the “director”. As a customer, I just take my business elsewhere, there are plenty of other stores with better prices and much better customer services. I hope you realize that.

What is wrong with the employees here? Selection is great, stocking levels good, veggies fresh but holy cow their employees are on a power trip like a mall cop on a Segway.Today’s incident isn’t a huge deal but on top of prior stuff I don’t want to go back.Went through self checkout with my daughter, she’s handing me all the stuff to scan, I used 2 reusable bags and pay- hitting the 2 when the bag selection came up.Lady monitoring the self check out comes up says you need to pay for those bags, next time scan them. I told her you don’t scan them, you enter the quantity and I hit 2. I’m not sure if she was confused about them being the ones you buy that aren’t plastic or what. I find them on the receipt and she says sorry.Now alone not a big deal but on top of other questionable actions from their employees why would I continue to give them my $$. At Ralph’s I NEVER had an interaction like this, they treated us like friends and laughed at the register. I only switched to Albertsons due to the produce not being so fresh during their remodel.They should hire some Ralph’s employees and see how to treat customers.

WORST SERVICE EVER KNOWN TO MANKIND!!! I needed to recycle bottles to donate to charity, not even for the benefit of my own. I made that very clear and asked if they could take my bottles. They said they could help me out. But when I brought my bottles in, I was told they were “too busy,” and proceeded to make me wait AN ENTIRE HOUR before, with a TERRIBLE attitude, they were willing to even acknowledge me. I wasted an hour redistributing my bottles into the bag they required, and another hour waiting to be helped out. That’s more than TWO HOURS of my life to get THE MOST ATROCIOUS service I have ever received. Never again am I visiting this place. If you don’t want to get treated like some lower class inferior being, you shouldn’t try shopping here either.

Most expensive grocery store in Thousand Oaks. Long checkout lines. Everything is ridiculously overpriced by 20-50%. Then when you get to the checkout, they typically only have a couple lanes open and it takes forever.Adding a recent photo of two lines, each about 10 deep, no self checkout... pretty typical for this store.

Friendly and helpful staff, a great selection and quality of produce and meats/seafood, and a nice assortment of organic and healthy options. Coupons and decent pricing are a plus, as is the beer and wine department.Really like their variety and quality of produce, as well as coffee/K-cups. Nice seafood and meat counters, and deli section. After TJS, my next favorite place to buy groceries. Staff is always friendly and helpful, as well.

Self check out area not clean. Watch expiration dates on purchases. Items on selves without pricing. Help not available to address pricing. Has a nice section of cards and fresh flowers. Produce area is okay. Unfortunately not a lot of markets in the area. Disappointing.

Love This Store!! Best Deli,Produce and Meat Counter with the Best Butchers around!! The Whole Staff is Awesome and it takes Me 2hrs to shop because these folks are my Friends and I talk with everyone!! Im Blessed!!

They are open late which I appreciate. I don’t particularly love the prices. Sometimes things are more than I feel they should be but the staff are friendly and the selection is pretty good.

My husband and I, come from Camarillo to shop here at least once a month we loved this place until today . We had a bagger that was bagging meat and produce and after I asked him If he could please not cross contaminate he looked at me like if I was asking him for something unreasonable. He also mixed bar soap with fresh produce and put the eggs on the bottom of the cart with heavy canned goods. JACK really needs to be retrained.
