I come to this store ALL the time and have for over 20 years. I frequently must bag my own groceries because there is no one there to do it. Today, I had over $400 in groceries. I had to bag them myself and when I was done and went to pay, the manager checking me out said it was too late to enter my phone number and use my “deals” because he already started the checkout process. He said we could start over and re-do the whole order. Seriously?!? I am very disappointed and honestly don’t know if I will come back.

This store is ALWAYS hurting for checkers. Also, the amount of health conscious/ allergen sensitive foods are very limited at this location.Update 8/17/21: nothing has changed. Ive been shopping this store forever and all the employees are friendly and very helpful. I recently was shopping and saw a sale I very much wanted to take advantage of. It was closing time AND the final day of the sale. It was one of those sales where you need the app on your phone and you type your sale item in and blah blah blah. Im an old goat and aint real good with computer tech and all that. I was the last customer of the night and the store had just announced they were officially closed. Panicking, Im trying to figure out how to get this digital coupon off this app and dont have a clue to what Im doing. Augie, the store manager, was so patient and helpful and was more determined to make sure I got that sale price coupon off the app than I was. This manager has gone the extra mile for me time and time again. He even had ordered a couple of difficult to get items just for me during our covid fiasco. Yes prices are slightly higher at Albertsons but the customer service is outstanding. Thank you Augie! Youre the best!

I live down the street from this establishment.i feel like the owner needs to up the pay of the employees as they all look pretty miserable. Pay them more dude! All the gallon jugs of water in the drink isle are bent as if someone took each gallon jug and dropped on its cap or slammed it around. The poultry from there is funky.

Edit: A cashier named Augie is rude rude rude. He gives everyone a look of impatience. He sighs a LOT in front of the customers. Never smiles. Just rude. Geez!!!Two stars because they answered fast but 0 because of the attitude when I asked if someone has turned in a wallet and I described it. I mean the dude was really mean.

Albertsons is high priced everything.I only shop here because its the only grocery store close to me.The employees the majority of them are so un friendly. I like to get in and out of there as quickly as possible.One man in particular will just stare me down with a mad serious look on his face...Ive never seen him smile.There are a few employees whom are friendly though.Also Albertsons carry a little bit of everything from adult coloring books to cinnamon whiskey, from press on nails to frozen yogurts,so its worth going in and being uncomfortable for a few minutes and who knows maybe my smile will become contagious.

Always feel rushed during checkout even when its not busy. This time I was completely overcharged due to clerk missing ringing items... I knew I shouldve done self checkout. Otherwise the store is nice but definitely only shop the deals otherwise lots of overpriced groceries and its not like its Whole Foods or Trader Joes.

One of my more favorite stores. Unfortunately one of the main reasons I use to shop this location was for their bakery. But they must have changed bakers within the list few years because there cream cheese frosting seems different. Store and bathrooms are very clean.The staff is quick to help and friendly.The isles are well organized and items are always faced properly to see the products.The checker Ellen is absolutely breathe taking with how energetic and happy she always is. Whenever she is working I always make it a point to get in her line. She really knows how to brighten peoples day with a positive attitude and smile.

This is my favorite grocery store to shop specifically when they have good deals but you need to sign up but its free and easy to use. Once register you can type in your phone number and all the deals clipped will apply at checkout.

I went to the store just to find out how the prices were. To make a long story short, I bought nothing. Everything I looked at was priced at least a dollar more than if I visit a Walmart or food for less. The quality of the food does not seem to be any different. I checked item for item pricing, and if I had to pay the prices that Albertsons is suggesting I pay, I would we totally out of money.I do have to give the store employees a lot of credit. I was asked by four different people in four different parts of the store if they could help me. I took time to take my blood pressure by the pharmacy. I stop by and check the flower department. They have some amazing baskets to cover things like the birth of a new baby or that basket for the teenager you dont know what to get.The store was impeccably clean. Shelves were full and extremely well organized. I dont think there was an item that I couldnt have found in the store if I tried. They have a beautiful deli section, A beautiful hot food area, very nicely laid out Bakery, a pharmacy that lacked a few things on over the counter, an amazingly array of fresh fruits and vegetables, multiple choices of liquid drinks, and if you wanted to get a few items for your child for school, they have those too.If you like my review please press LIKE and if you get a chance please rate me.

Always been a fan of Albertsons and the cleanliness of their stores. I dont have one by my house anymore so when I found one in this area, I had to grab their fresh cookies and breads, I didnt see their usual packaging so it made me question if its the same kind. It stated Signature Select so I didnt know what that meant if someone can reassure me that these are the same cookies Ive been eating since I moved to CA over 29 years ago. Need to have more Albertsons!! Theyre so much better than other supermarkets out there.

Better then usual. Most times tgere is only one cashier working the front in the evening causing the line to extend out into the isle. Also, tgere was a strange smell in the air...like an overwhelming ant/bug spray scent in the air that was very noticeable from the vegetable section all the way down to the back of tge store.

Its a friendly neighborhood Albertsons. Plenty of parking, no solicitors at the door... not that I have anything against a good cause, but it makes a difference when you are in a rush and no one is trying to stop you from coming in/out the grocery store. Also, they do have a Bank of America ATM that accepts deposit, eventhough it says that its for withdrawal only. The staff there are also nice. They are helpful, and can be better if the staff will try to offer help instead of waiting to be approached by a customer especially during downtime. Other than that, this place is a great place to do your grocery-ing... 😉

The store is set up in a way that makes it hard to find things and I had to wait a little more then 15 minutes for someone to open the bathroom for me and that was only after I had to explain to them theyll be calling for a clean up on the isle I was waiting on if it didnt get opened really soon. I wasnt the only woman waiting either. After waiting the bathroom opened was so gross I almost didnt want to use it, Im not some prissy who cant deal with a little inconvenience it was seriously bad. I only use this store very rarely cuz they do carry some things that my normal store doesnt but I wouldnt shop here at all if that wasnt the case.

Shelves are not ever empty thats for sure. I buy a lot of ice cream. The red seedless grapes right now are fire by the entrance, apparently, its my store. Lines are generally short. Hotoys is right next to it and is the best chinese food around the area. They hook it up with phat portions ill tell u wat. Havent been there since before biden *ucked up everything hopefully they still hook it!!

Great customer service, always friendly. I used to shop at Stater Bros on State College Blvd, but I stopped shopping there as customer service is always horrible, and you have to wait forever in the checkout stand. I started shopping for stuff at this Albertsons down State College, and I love it, few bucks more, but you get friendly customer service, and not so long lines. Bravo Albertsons!

Stopped here at 10:55 PM to run in for 1 quick thing and the manager at the door said they were closed and wouldnt let me in. I guess the store hours should be 6am to whatever time the manager on duty feels he needs to close. I am a frequent shopper of this particular location since it is .4 miles from my house but might have to consider going the extra mile to shop at Stater Brothers down the street. Very disappointed that they couldnt accommodate me when it was not 11pm yet. I worked retail for 20 years, most of them as a manager and believe me, I never turned a customer away if the closing time had not yet come.

Used to be a great store, small but great. Lately the bakery clears out all the baked goods before 8pm and the deli is staffed by incompetents.Big pet peeve of mine, the trash can sitting in the handicap space. Ive complained multiple times, the store doesnt seem to care. So now if I must park there I just pull in. Sometimes the can tips over, sometimes it doesnt. Eventually the store will get the message.

We go here almost once a week. Was just there on Thursday. Their shelves are restocked and signs and markings on the floor have been made for precaution.Since last week, they’re making hot loaves of fresh bread all the time so no need to panic buy!At the register, plexiglass has been installed to protect cashiers and patrons. Additional precautions such as also not bagging into our reusable bags, but we as patrons can bag our own items if we like to save bags . 👍👍👍In general, it’s good but i do have to say that the staff at this location always seem so tired and grouchy. Maybe it’s the lack of staff? I don’t see very many around. Never seen more than 3 lanes open at the same time. I hope they are able to get more help if this is the case. I’ve been overworked before so I sympathize. I worry for them!Albertsons is under the same umbrella as Vons, Randalls, Safeway so I feel safe and valued going to these stores. This location is older so the entrance doesn’t appear inviting but they’re doing well in the inside.

I gave you guys a second chance and you continue to fail me! Maggie the manager promised me that everything would be good with my order and it wasnt! My husband got there at our pick up time and they made him wait almost an hour but gave him free sodas..like that made it better!! The chicken was not great and he had to wait for them to re print my daughters face into the cake because it had weird spots on her face!! I went to order a cake a week and a half before my daughters first bday party and I go to pick it up (after calling earlier to confirm it was ok I was late) and they didnt have it . Didnt make it . I was super upset obviously but what could we do . They did feel super bad and gave me a full refund and a free cake but it wasnt very good . Highest priced supermarket anywhere. I used to getting silence for respond when I try small talk no smiles or niceness blank stares from the cashiers. But this morning at the express cashier I get a rude girl who answered my easy question with a WHAT! Ok I ask again than she said in a questionable tone dont get mad at me. and you raising your voice. I did not raise my voice. Honestly I dont think she know what raising voice mean. Anyway, they should have more, way more training in costumer service. They should go to Anaheim Hills Pavilion or Ralphs to observe how to give good costumer service. They have two cashiers who are miserable. One looks like Kenny Rogers and the other one looks like Jim Hensen. You come in there and they don’t speak or smile. The store won’t stock small bars of mild cheese. The only valuable employee is the older Hispanic lady. Super nice. Price of goods is 50% more than Stater Bros. I only come here for convenience. I tell them I want to buy bags, but end up with a ton of stuff outside of the bags.

With as much as they charge for EVERYTHING they should put a little work into the store. My cart got stuck in two different aisles because of missing tiles and ruts in the floor. Thankfully everything I bought was on sale, which made it comparable to Staters, but I probably wont be back.

Not going to knock their quality or pricing or any of the usual stuff.Where they have really disappointed is in the manner in which they are treating policy amongst the on-going pandemic.A sign posted stating that one must wear a face mask to enter the premises is in NO way enforced. The majority of shoppers allowed inside are NOT wearing face masks or anything of the sort. Even employees can be seen NOT wearing face masks.Management needs to crack down or tear down that sign.

This is a good grocery store. They have good produce and meat. I was also very surprised to see the selection of Chinese vegetables they have, year-round. This place saved me several trips to the Asian supermarket when all I needed was bitter melon or some other vegetables.

This is my go to grocery store. Better prices than Vons or Ralphs. Pretty decent meat and produce sections. Fast check out, usually. Parking lot is not the ideal parking situation, but there is generally plenty of parking.

On Sunday, the store had really rude and condescending employees working. My husband has Parkinson’s and will ask a random question to someone that works there, as in on Sunday. He had a container with “green, watery, seedy, looking salsa” and asked if it was “Guacamole” dude tells him “yes, that’s Guacamole “. The minute that he walked in the door, I looked for the Guacamole, and it wasn’t. I got dressed and went back to the store and in it’s sealed plastic unmolested container of salsa, and they refused to take it back or deal with it in any way so I threw it onto the counter where there was nobody, cussed, and left...went and got Guacamole at Vons. If mr Rogers doesn’t have time to answer my husbands question, CORRECTLY, then tell him to say nothing at all...I live like 2 minutes from Albertsons, so that’s how long it took to go back

I knew this Albertsons location way back when it was an Alpha Beta. Its a small location but I can always find what I need. I took off a starfor the following reasons: Albertsons prices are consistently on the higher end of grocery stores, and the parking lot is cramped and can be tricky to maneuver, even without the construction on South. However, its dependable and convenient.

I hate their new APP! Every time I add a freebie to my app basket I get charged for it. Even after I showed my phone to the stores manager and he instructed the cashier to just honor the freebie that was on their app she continued to argue it! I also noticed the cashiers are inattentive and prefer to have personal conversations vesus interacting with their customers! Not sure when albertsons employees threw out their customer service out their door! If this continues Im predicting this store will most likely close!

This is MY all-time Favorite Albertsons in Orange county !! All the food is just better here. The Bakery, the Meat department all the departments are just better.
