Not once but twice I ordered delivery from this store that Was either wrong or not delivered at all. Trying to get refunded for my non delivery has been nothing short of impossible, and getting compensated for the Mistakes made on another delivery has been equally impossible.After speaking with thier customer care and being assured that my issues would be resolved, 3 months later in one case and a month later in another has resulted in me simply loosing money to this company for their mistakes. I have not been refunded money owed to me for the non delivery, nor have I received adjustments in the order that they got wrong. I WAS a loyal customer, but now I will shout from the tips of the mountains to buyers beware especially if you are using their delivery service.

The cashiers are super knowledgeable and patient. The selection is a little limited compared to other Albertsons I have been to, but, the customer service makes up for it.I stand by this review. One update though **** the vegetable section is so beautiful and has great options!

This was my first time here because I recently moved to signal hill and this store was closer than my previous store. This place is an absolute disgrace and I can’t believe they are still in business. Based on how few customers were inside on a Sunday afternoon, hopefully not much longer. First of all, the homeless situation right outside the store is horrible and it’s just not they are there, it’s that they’re jacking up on meth and freakin out. Incredibly unsafe. The parking lot was full of trash. Second, the staff service inside the store was really bad. Not a single store associate even smiled or said hi and had no interest in doing their job. Third, while I understand the need to lock certain items up, predominantly alcohol - I’ve never been to a store that had so much of their front end shelves locked up (only further proves how unsafe this store is). They don’t even have buttons to press for customer service assistance. You have to look all over the store to find someone that will even acknowledge you and all they say is you have to ask at the checkout and they will get for you. Wow!!! How inconvenient is that??? It took nearly 15 mins to checkout because not only did they only have two checkout lanes open - many customers needed items from these locked up areas so the cashier takes her sweet time walking around getting the items. Incredibly inconvenient for the customer. I will never be back!!

This Albertsons is huge. They have a pretty good selection of all the groceries I normally buy, and some. Ive had excellent service from the deli department. I love, maybe just a little too much, the delicious pastries the bakery prepares. Ive never had a problem finding fresh fruits and veggies in the produce department. In fact, Im not sure which department prepares them, but they have some of the best salads that are already made and ready to eat in the island down in front of the deli. I love the one with strawberries, blueberries, and chicken. Delicious! Now Im hungry and going to have to go get one, ha ha.Great store, helpful staff, good prices, quality products. What more could you want?

Very very clean love the fresh smells from the food being made to bread and cookies being baked. The staff is also very helpful. The only thing I would love to see is more staff that are actually around on the floor to help you if you have any questions about anything it was a ghost town. Other than that I like this store a lot.

My cashier decided her time was more important than the customers, this lead to her shoving multiple items that were on the conveyor belt at me including a glass jar of pickles. She was very agressive and rude for no apparent reason as I was bagging the groceries myself because there wasnt a worker there to do it. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or not but its pathetic that she would act this way towards a long time customer that was trying to be helpful. Cant wait for the robots

One of the worst places I have visited, I spent half an hour to order a cream, and no one ever came to open the display case, all the employees talking to each other like 5, I think it is a lack of respect, the supervisor should report this or be attentive, there were several people watching this, it is the unfortunate truth that a store of this name has this staff

Everyone here is friendly, from the produce guys, to the deli workers, and the cashiers. The problem is, they are always out of the things I need. Whole sections of pork chops, Italian sausage, and once I went in for strawberry syrup and the section had been emptied out, including the generic brands . I come on my lunch break and its always before noon. This location needs to keep popular items in stock and get them out on the floor early in the morning

The highest prices and longest lines.1) Dont ask for liquor at the register! The entire line has to stop and wait anytime someone asks for liquor, which is why I dont buy liquor here. This is an extremely inefficient system that inconveniences everybody.2) Self check out would go much faster if they had bags... you have to scan your items then ask for a bag and then bag your items instead of just bagging as you scan like at other places.

The cakes we order from here are always amazing and taste delicious. And they are very reasonably priced. Cakes are perfectly moist, and theyre one of the only places that still offer fresh fruit in the cakes. The latest cake we ordered was a chocolate oreo cake and all my guests loved it.

Deli is pretty Good and a wide assortment of dishes. I love their chicken tenders fried chicken and baked habanero chicken as well as their many dishes they they make at the deli counter. Good place to save money by just stopping by and getting a decently priced meal at the deli. Almost all Albertsons have a pretty good deli on this one is included. Most grocery items cost more than going to Walmart. I normally just go here for the deli.

This specific store has a great selection and the deli is better than most. Unfortunately theyve hired a staff who have a default mode of irritability and stereotyping ... And the security guard is especially rude and two of the 4 they typically have on shift are especially rude and obviously predigest (def. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason) extremely more towards white collar or labor class individuals especially if you wear a backpack. Its odd and there is no medium. If u stick around awhile outside the front door or even just close enough to the cust. Serv. Desk youll hear two or 3 employees usually joined by the sec. Guard laughing making inappropriate jokes and mimic/moving the customers.

Since the pandemic, I had been doing the drive up and go. That was fantastic but the last few times I ordered, the target times werent met. No matter what time I would put my order in. So, I recently went in to shop and was surprised to see how much had changed. I like the changes. Everything seems more open. My only complaint is I have to learn this layout. First world problems, amirite? Service is still great and the store is always clean. The best Albertsons in Carson (looking at you Carson St. location).

Went to the self checkout line. This lady was eyeing me down while I was scanning my items and she swore I didn’t scan about two to three of my items and looked inside my bag and eyeing the scanning machine. The only thing I forgot to scan by accident was the Parmesan cheese. This is obsurd.

The deli is great but I’ve seen too many things close to the expiry date items still for sale and I had a can of opened and moldy coconut water fall on me from a shelf, the staff was helpful in all situations, great staff here. The physical space is larger than most and spread out. The produce, meat, seafood, and bakery sections are adequate. There is a seasonal section that is quite nice because of the different items offered. Parking is easy to find and access from three (3) different directions is great.

Please albertsons, please, pay attention to customers all over your store. Every time Im in there someone is either not wearing a mask or wearing it beneath their nose. There were two girls with no masks walking around eating while they were shopping. Really? Theyre touching their mouths and then touching your product. I live with someone high risk and I dont want to bring something home to them. I phoned your store and the manager ricky kept talking over me. Corporate will get a call from me because this is a health issue. Another thing before I go. Theres this really short girl who wears glasses and Ive noticed shes always in a weird mood or irritated about something. I needed body wash out of your security case and I asked the lady up front if someone can open it for me. She says you have to press the help button in that section.Thats when the girl I mentioned heard me and says I got it, nobody will come if you press it anyway. I thought that was a really bad thing to tell a customer. Then I asked where this help button was located because I never knew there was one. She rudely gestures behind me and says over there. I asked where again because she wasnt specific. Then she raises her voice and says over there!. Basically she never showed me where it was and seemed to be in a bad mood, but according to her, your employee, pressing the help button is pointless because no one will come to help. Just fire her.

Went to rent the rug doctor and now I need a doctor. Lol (my back)I was assisted by a gentleman named Terry who was delighted to help me after 2 other employees passed me around! The last person asked him to do it and he didnt even hesitate as he was literally clocking in from lunch. She told him she didnt know how to do it but didnt go with us to learn how. Anyway, his efforts were greatly appreciated and the other two employees, not so much! No biggie tho, I just want people like Terry (who was an elder gentleman too) but willing to take the lead to get the recognition they deserve and not go unnoticed in such a big corporation. Heck!I wish he was an employee of mine when I needed good employees. I only got people like the first two female employees that didnt care to help. The first one I ask was talking/interrupting another cashier, cause it wasnt work related 🤷🏾‍♂️ then after she noticed me standing there patiently to not interrupt her conversation, she passed me off to the closest employee who couldnt even do it, and wouldnt even tell her she couldnt, or go with the guy she got to do it for her!! Lady at the customer service desk has no customer service at all. I was calm and cooperative trying to understand what went wrong with my receipt. She had no patience, was getting passive aggressive and did not like to solve problems. She called the manager immediately which I was ok with, but then the manager started getting rude, finally looked at the camera...ended up being a miss understanding. Manager still remain ruded..as for the customer service lady, she started accusing me of being conflicted when I was not even close, I was patience and cooperative. The problem was already solved, why was she still talking?? Maybe she was trying to cover up her unprofessional behavior. I dont know who thought giving those ghetto ladies those positions was a good Idea but they need lots of training that requires patience, understanding and great communication. Completely incompetent; cant follow simple instructions on shopping list. Then try to give me a hard time when I refuse to pay for items that were substituted. If youre too imbecilic to be able to read no substitutions then I will be demanding a refund... every... single... time. Numerous items are always removed at checkout as theyre no longer available. Most items I purchased 2 weeks ago arent available online but theyre right there in the store. Their entire app is garbage as is their customer service. Customer service is great. The store is always very clean. Produce is great. Deli meats and cheeses are delicious. Everyone is always very helpful and the store is organized well so finding what you need is never really an issue. They hold a large variety of products. It’s not the worst store but definitely not the best. It’s the type of store that really doesn’t have everything I want but does enough of it for me to come back when I just need a few things. It’s also the type of store where I stop by on my way home from working my 10th day in a row on 4 hours of sleep and decide I need a few extra things while I’m inside and end up spending an extra 5 minutes holding 10 different items in my arms because they only hired 2 cashiers and closed all the self checkout lines for no reason.

They didnt have the orange juice on sale and only 2 lines open. 1 was express 15 or less so I got in the shortest line with my 20 items and the cashier made a comment about my items. But clearly if they knew I was a regular it wouldnt been problem because I have in they a lot times when a customer clearly have over 15 items and they still talk them and small talk. I was able to get very fresh ingredients for my homemade spegitti. Other than the price of inflation has Albertsons food prices have doubled since January a normal 20$ meal is 10% to 20% higher. Its also concerning because Long Beach, Ca is in Los Angeles county but its tax rate is much higher than anywhere else.

This is the Albertsons Grocery Store at 101 E Willow St, Long Beach, CA 90806I have been complaining to the management for over a year now about the people that they allow to hang out in front of their store and beg. They are blocking the entrance and getting in your face as you enter and are leaving the store. Several times I have been verbally harassed by black men, some no older than 21 years old and they say disrespectful things when you tell them “no, or leave you alone.Greg is the manager, and I have complained to him several times. I have been told that they are very much aware that it is a chronic problem and yet all they can seem to do is ignore it. I have given them details on what has been said to me but for some reason they take their customer relationship so much for granted.I suggested for them, since it is such a problem, out of respect for their paying customers, to assign a rotation of staff to go outside once every hour and run the people away.This is the epitome of how retailers take their customers for granted. Just come in and buy my items and keep my doors open but I dont give a damn how you are treated inside my store or on my premises. Its disgusting what I must go through and I spend at least $100 every two weeks on grocery there as a single person.I dont like being taken for granted like this one bit and I think its appalling that more effort is not made to remedy this problem.

This Albertsons is too expensive for how poorly kept it is. This whole shopping center feels like its falling apart, and I dont think Ive ever been to Albertsons without being solicited by a homeless person outside. Theres always a long line, no matter when you go. Its not uncommon to see the self-checkouts closed, and only one register open during the busiest hours.This is the closest grocery store to my house, and I drive all the way up to the Ralphs on Carson to avoid shopping here.

The lines literally go from the registers, down the front of the store and all the way to the produce department. The manager is literally operating two registers at once in an attempt to get the lines down. I love Albertson hot food. I always get a combo plate which is less than $8. I always get their fried chicken wing and a breast and ask for some mango habanero sauce drizzle over it with my two sides double salads. This Albertsons was my main market when I lived near Willow and Santa Fe. In the years since then, the store has kept pretty much the same. I found that the very helpful staff were still cheerful and ready to go the extra mile to be helpful. The staff whose attitude can best be described as sour looked just as sour. The International Section always impressed me with the wide range of imports that exceeds the usual more expensive Ramen bowls and ubiquitous curry sauces that most chain supermarkets feature. A very tasty eggplant, basil tapenade comes to mind. For a store this large, the checkout lines can get long very quickly but it doesnt take much time for extra checkstands to open. The current Monopoly game with ridiculously complicated paper game pieces (to moisten and attach to the game board underscored for me that Albertsons seems caught in the time warp where coupons (which cant be doubled) are still seen as a winning way to keep customers coming back while larger overall price cuts are eschewed. As a single person, the signs which boldly advertise a product as 99 cents each, (compared to the regular 1.49 cost), and then in tiny print add that I must purchase 17 to get the discount are infuriating. These signs are everywhere in the store - placed there, in my mind, by the sour-faced staff I hadnt had in years. But the helpful and friendly people who make up the majority of the staff go a long way in compensating for these downsides. It was convenient for me at one time. I wouldnt go out of my way to make it my main store again.

Problem is usually at checkout. The express lanes usually have a huge line during rush hours but only 1 or 2 people working them... slowly. The process are ridiculously high which i found surprising considering I use to shop there as my main grocery store throughout my life. I wasnt at all pleased with the prices Ana the lines where our of control. But I gave it 3 stars in part because of it being well organized Ana the employees were really professional and nice as always..

Albertsons is always to high priced but its clean and not as ghetto as most of the stores in Long Beach. Except food 4 less. But theres no food 4 less in Long Beach. Closest one is signal hill.

Not even packed and always long lines. 5 mins to pick up a few things and 35 mins to pay. You enter via one door and on the exit is already locked. Just horrrible.

I had a bad experience with one of the employees there very unprofessional at the bakery had me wait more the 30 min I was just there to pick up a cake she had a bad attitude if they dont feel like working why bother to go to work I understand we all have are moments but to come in to the store u think they put whatever they are going threw at home and make the customer happy cause I could of been like her and be disrespectful but instead it will be the last time I go into the bakery

Not enough cashiers open. Typically spend 10+20min waiting in line. Was there last night 11/1/17. They had one cashier at the express lane. And two regular lanes open.

Today I walked into the Local Albertsons full well knowing I would be asked for money at the door to the store. Was pleasantly surprised that the usual transients were gone this time. I grabbed a shopping cart and noticed the shopping cart was disgusting. I entered the Albertsons and observed a homeless man with apparent mental health issues standing in the vegetable isle. He appeared to be hallucinating on LSD or some other physcadellic drug perhaps. I ended up buying hand sanitizer from the Albertsons to clean my hands after handling the filthy shopping cart.

I always like Albertsons. The prices are on the high side compared to near by markets.Servers are friendly, and they also sell express lane transponders.That is a service, all clients should go to.

Big store with a lot of room. Does not have many items that Im used to buying though. Still found some good deals there.
