Albertsons gets a 2-star rating from me due to their consistently high prices. While the store is clean, the cost of groceries and fresh salads here is significantly higher (double or triple times) than other local options. Its hard to justify shopping at Albertsons when you can find similar products for much less elsewhere.

Nice, clean store. They do Friday specials that are usually worth a special trip. There is a self check-out, but its not always open. Aside from the one checker who clearly doesnt understand the proper way to wear a mask, this is a great store. If you come for the Friday specials, make sure you do so early in the morning as they do sell out pretty quickly. Did an online order for pickup: they were ON IT! Great store, overall.

I was checking out the other night and a nice gentleman that work there asked me if I found everything I wanted and I ended up needing a propane tank which he was so kind enough to close down his cash register station and walk me outside to put it in my cart and load it in my car after he run me up. I wish I knew his name so his manager could give him kudos for being such a great employee. Its hard to find nowadays and the customer service but he offered was very nice

My absolute favorite place to pick up food. Ive been using the app for ordering all my food and I drive and pick it up. special shout out to Shar, Dawson and Jacob who continue to make the best experience possible. they will text and ask if I need replacement, they care about my orders and my needs. Was there yesterday to buy a cake, and Alexandra went above and beyond. She went out of her way to help me find the right cake, and decorate it for my sons birthday- just like the Albertsons TV ad:) She also gave me an eclair bite as a sample which were delicious and I bought a pack of Eclairs also. Her customer service and professionalism topped any grocery store I have been to yet. Thank you Alexandra.

Not a good Albertsons as compared to Irvine location on Jeffrey, or any other Ive been to. Unfriendly cashier; old, somewhat unkempt inside. Some of the frozen food looked like it had thawed, then been refrozen. Sushi was good though.

Usually love this place, but someone is slacking. Ad broke today with Corned Beef Flat Cut 5.99/lb but when to ring up it said 10.99/lb. Even after entering my phone number. No A4U coupon available either. So returned it. Rang up Rib Eye Steaks with Bone In. Was to be on sale from ad for 6.99/lb but rang up at 10.99/lb. Watch your prices on your meat, especially if its on sale!

Again I love the community and employees in this part of so cal, we have been here 3 mos on a campaign and have worked in and out of every town and city. Hands down this area is the most normalcy you will feel. The employees are the best, the people are friendly and community is welcoming.... hidden lil gem. Very disappointed with this store. Buying at the Deli and employee serving me wasnt wearing gloves.I asked her Wheres your gloves? She says Im not touching anything, because she was using tongs. Her fingers were close to the food.I was wearing a mask the whole time too!The customer behind me, a stranger, saw all this and said Im not buying here and You need to tell a manager. I agreed and did tell a female assistant manager.I really hope they Retrain the deli employees and talk with all employees about being clean and safe.They lost the other persons business because of this bad deli hygiene.I will try another Albertsons or another grocery store company.

For the 1st time me shopping at this grocery store, I was having issues with my credit card. Cashier was making negativity movements, throwing her head back. It looked like she was being frustrated. This review is for the deli manager. She has a horrible personality, so rude about everything, in person and on the phone. I love everyone else there in the deli, they are always quick to help me. Pamela is so sweet and is always smiling and the rest of the delis staff is always so nice. The rest of the store staff is great too!

Supply and demand. This visit was nice for the fact they were open on Christmas day, the staff were polite and worked to move customers through check out fast (sorry to the staff having to work compared to getting a paid day off). There downside...Prices were clearly marked up on most items to then put a special sales price that is higher than the normal costs. The only real sales are in select items that require purchasing five or more to save. But as most stores are otherwise closed on the holiday, they can do what they like and your options to go elsewhere are limited.

I was using the check out lane I bought 2 plastic bags to carry my things but no bags so I went to get 2 from a lane with a receipt in hand just in case an employee saw me, it was busy and didnt want to bother anyone. As I was walking out I hear someone say next time youll pay for those I turn around and see the 2 employees looking at me but they turn away as soon as they realize I heard then. If possible next time they could ask instead of making snarky remarks.

This grocery store was less than a mile from the front door of my first home. I grew up next to it for a little over a decade- and Ive been able to purchase everything needed for weekly grocery runs. Theyve got everything that youd need to stock up for parties, events, and day to day home life. Over the past several years, this location has undergone some cosmetic renovations- though the interior is rather aged. Id rank this place a solid 7 out of 10. It wont disappoint your needs.

I hate this place! Though the staff is nice and the selection is good! the clientele sucks. I call it gods waiting room from all the people who come from leisure world. God bless them all but plan on spending a lot of extra time here to maneuver around all the old people and the extra long wait at the cash register.

It gets one star because the bathrooms were clean. The manager Ian, was unproffessional and belligerent. I dont expect that kind of attitude aftter 9 hours on my feet and traffic to boot.Everyone has a bad day. But as management,, i shouldnt have to know about it or take the short end of that. I expected more from my favorite market, but clearly not my favorite branch.A bit upsetting when youre caught ioff guard and dont expect that type of poor service.That was an unneccessary experience.

Well Ive been going to this Albertsons for the past 7 years. Ive been taking my puppy since he was born. All the staff knows me. This manager name Doug look a little pissed off when I walk in not at me but must have had a bad day. As I was at the check out he walked up to me and said I couldnt take my puppy anymore. Very disappointed.

This neighborhood supermarket is about as ordinary as it gets. Features include Redbox, Bank of America ATM, and a service deli, but no bakery or floral.Its a convenient walk down the block for homeowners and renters, and the meat department staff are awesome. But frankly, theres not much to review about Albertsons Lake Forest.

I frequently shop here as its close to where I live. While I do appreciate the fact that the store is pretty clean, has what I need.. when I need.. I was absolutely mortified by the night shift manager/cashier on Duty. His name is David. -2 stars for this reason - I will provide as accurately as I can describe -- context:I was in the self-checkout lane and noticed the discount pricing changed on these 12oz fruit cups. It was labeled in the produce as 2 for $4 for mix-and-match fruits from 7-12 oz. Ok, so I picked out 10 total.. different varieties of 12oz fruit cups. Apparently the discount did not apply to grape cups and apple cups (found this out while I was checking out). Again note, the ad says FRUITS in there. As I was scanning barcodes on the self-checkout lanes, I noticed the discount wasnt getting triggered, and I attempted to void the whole transaction to cancel and go back to the produce and return the fruits. Here comes the cashier who can authorize my void request. He looks at me in the face and yells: Why would you do that?! Of course, I was shocked and everyone around us was staring at me. I calmly responded: I dont know, I noticed it wasnt calculating correctly and Ill just go back and return this... He completely ignored and me and went back to his register. I needed more help but he just took my fruit away and didnt return it to me.Long story short: David, night shift manager, avoid this guy. I made it a point to really seek out his name before I left. Its a good thing they have to wear name tags for this very reason.David is very rude and will embarrass you in front of everyone else for making an honest and simple mistake. Hell probably read this and deny this story but other customers were there to witness this. Ive always had a positive experience shopping here but until this day, Ill always remember this moody and rude man wholl always haunt me whenever I do night shopping.
