I’m there almost every day of the week . . . And I gotta tell ya, in all my 84 years of life, it’s my all-time favorite market. What made it even more endearing is that I lost my most favorite “ring” at this store, and this beautiful lady, ISABEL LUNA found my ring in, if all places, the parking lot. I had mentioned to her how important the ring was to me. Not the value of the 50+ year old ring, but the sentimental value. You see, I had told my Granddaughter Maddie that it was her’s after I left this planet. I was heartbroken to have to tell her that Papa had lost her ring.Thank you, thank you, thank you, ISABEL for finding Maddie’s ring.Looking forward to seeing ISABEL every time I shop at Albertsons.Thanks again,Al Sylvester

This location just happen to be across the Hwy from our hotel in Palm Desert, California when we went on a short vacation. As soon as my hubby noticed the Albertsons sign, he was glad as he was going to go & find me some acetaminophen, which is of course, at the Albertsons Pharmacy. A very nice & organized store, friendly staff, courteous, knowledgeable & helpful. And of course, my favorite go-to qu ick meal from the Deli Dept.- Freshly Fried Chicken - & Loaded Potato Salad, delicious and made in house! Albertsons fried chicken is the best!!!

The veggies and non-perishables are good. However, the meat selection has failed me twice now. First, it was chicken breast that went bad the day after I purchased it. Now, it’s a $9.00 steak that looked great from the top. But once I got it home to grill, I flipped it to season and discovered a whole backside of fat that I had to cut off. This is very aggravating.

Went to packed deli at 9:30am, grabbed a sub sandwich from the refrigerated section and asked for mayo and mustard since non were provided, the associate told me to wait in the sandwich line instead of walking 10 feet to grab a few packets and give them to me. Rather than make patrons wait in a 15-20 minute line for a couple of packets of mayo and mustard, maybe put them in the sandwich packs or teach your employees to help the deli staff if they are busy making sandwiches, it would’ve taken less than a minute to help out by grabbing a few packets and giving them to customers instead of basically saying it’s not his job.

This is a top-notch market! It is so clean, has anything you could possibly need, and there are employees on almost every row doing various restocking and cleaning. There is always help when you need it. Sometimes you can get some good deals there, too. Organic fruits and vegetables are abundant. Very impressed!

I shop here often since its close to home and now that I downloaded their app, I save a lot of money. Seriously, get the Albertsons app because they tailor deals and coupons based on what you buy. There are many coupons as well as rewards you can earn on every purchase, which you can then use to add further discounts. I just got $10 off my last purchase after redeeming my rewards.While they dont have everything Im looking for (Im picky with coffee, certain foods and such), they have most everything I need. Prices are comparable to other grocery stores and the staff are usually polite and helpful. So Ill keep shopping here.

Horrible employee, they proceed to act nice while scanning my items. Shortly after, the bill come out to 154$, I gave them 220. However, when the recipe came back they decided to not include the extra 50$ that I gave them. Even worse, they forgot to give me my change. When I try to bring up the fact that they were 70$ short, they denied it and proceeded to said I had only given them 170$. Seriously, avoid spending big chunk of money as they can often rip you off if you’re buying using cash.

Managers here are on point and address questions asap. Some areas could use a more upkeep but staff shortages are affecting all stores. My favorite part is the bakery. Great cookies and a weekly go to item is the Yogurt Mousse Cake. It sells out before noon if not earlier. Its amazing and easy on the tummy.

Stopped in to grab a sandwich from the deli and the two girls that helped me were super nice. The sandwich and salad were excellent and the customer service in the store was very impressive.When I went to pay the person at the register was super friendly as well. It’s not too often lately that you receive great customer service but I was pleasantly surprised. Keep up the good work and give those people a raise.

I come to Palm Desert atleast once a year and stay at a friends nearby this particular Albertsons. I do a grocery run about 3x a week, sometimes more than once in a day. I have never been disappointed with what the store has to offer AND customer service is great. Never encountered a staff member that didnt care. Thanks for adding to my visit to PD as pleasant as the rest of my experience here🙂

A western chain, Albertsons, but a good chain. They have what I need, good diversity and quality. Think the prices are fine as well, seemed like lots of stuff on my list was reduced in price. This particular store though, think the mean age of patrons is about 81, so expect some congestion in the aisles, and watch it the parking lot, most of the customers still driving.

Albertsons has done a good job with customer service and offering fresh produce and fresh meats. This location in Palm Desert serves to a broad range of customers. Spanish is spoken with most employees as the Hispanic population grows in the CV. They are open early 6 AM and close at 11 PM.

Was only there for a quick, late shopping trip. They close at 11 pm which in this town isnt bad; unless you show up a 10:40. From the minute we arrived, the manager was on the storewide speakers giving us a detailed countdown of the time we didnt have to shop. In fact we were told to bring our groceries to the cashier before we had put anything in our carts.Pricing was as usual good, so long as you are willing to buy 4 x 12 packs of soda. You all know the drill so I will leave it at that.

Was pretty busy this morning as everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving. A little more crowded than I cared for, but I went in and out as quickly as possible. Cashier and bagger were very pleasant. Staff was busy keeping shelves stocked, the flower department is very well stocked with beautiful holiday arrangements. I would have given a 5 but being to crowded was a negative.

This is a well organized store. The produce is impressively fresh. The selection of the dairy section is great. I have been going to this grocery store since I was little since my parents live right up the street. We have always had such a good experience and we all have the app (I live down the street from my parents because I love them) and do the just for you etc. I want to give 5 stars BUT I can’t because every time my family and I get Lisa as a checker, the entire experience becomes a negative, sad time. Every other checker asks how you are or just actually responds when I ask how they are doing. I’m not saying fire her, just maybe try to train her to have an ounce of happiness or politeness when interacting with customers. Beside that, love this store!

This is for delivery/pickup reviews. 1st delivery order, 5 HOURS LATE! Poor communication about status. Had to call them twice. I understand we are not the only people wanting delivery, but they should not offer delivery time windows if they cant actually meet the customer expectations. 2nd order was for pickup, 2 hours late, poor communication about delay. Then, all of our items from the dairy aisle were marked as out of stock. I highly doubt that as we allowed substitutions. (out of all shredded cheese, no bacon at all, etc????). I think the shopper just did not want to go back for those items as it was already after 8pm. This is not fair to the customer. Positives: fruits and vegetables were of very good quality. Expiration dates were good. These are difficult times and I am sure their staff is hustling, but better planning on their end with good communication to the customer would have given us a better experience.

This store has been a lifesaver for us! We stayed across from Albertsons in the Best Western so we ended up going there all the time for diapers, snacks, and free cookies for kids from the bakery! Everyone was always so kind to my 18 month old who can be a little active! Awesome selection and a pretty cool markdown section in the back.

This place is a joke I try my hardest to avoid coming here.. They never have enough cashiers.I would rather shop at Walmart because their self check outs actually work. I run in today and of course they got no self check outs open. At that theyre supposed to have them open at 8 AM.This is usually around the time parents have to get their kids to school so the convenience of them actually having cashiers there and open would be nice! It took me 10 minutes to check out. When I only had 3 items and the self check out should have been open.

I have never been to an Albertsons so big before. It is huge and has so many choices my head spun. Great parking, unbelievable service. Great deli, meat department, so many beers and wines, bakery . Every time we are in town stop here and they overcharge or shortchange is by the time we get home it’s too much of a hassle to return to the store. The fruit section had old fruit and looked so dirty. This store is either Pocketing the change on tourist as a inside job or they are lacking training on basic math counting. We will not be back and recommend Ralph’s much cleaner much better fruit!

Your mileage may vary Depending on time of day for the most part staff is very friendly its an Albertsons location so everything is pretty good but not excellent. This place gets strangely super busy in spurts and at one moment it could be empty and by the time youre done everyone somehow appears at the cash register line. They do their best to stop extra registers when this happens but it does happen quite a bit.

I received $50 Albertsons eGift card in email in the form of Barcode and PIN; it says acceptable to any Albertsons but actually it took me multiple trips to finally spend it out.1). The 1st time staff there knew nothing about eGift card i showed in email on phone, but the person insisted all gift card should just swipe like any other credit/debit, i was in the only cashier line, to not block whole line behind me, I didnt argue with that and switched to my other credit 💳;2) the 2nd trip i intentionally find out another Albertsons location with self checkout, think that might be easier without dealing with the cashier, but spent 10 minutes still couldnt out where to scan or type in barcode and PIN, then asked assistance, the staff there find out from their manual that all eGift card MUST be Printed on paper and go through a register, no way self checkout ?;!!!3) the 3rd trip i did PRINT it out, and went to a cashier, but again the person knows nothing about eGift card, asked store manager to finally be able to just scan it, spend it.The experience was horribleCall to Albertsons management to think again about this require PRINTing policy, just think again about the paper waste,by 2022 all other industries with eGift card can do paperless scanning from phone, the flight onboarding all switched to paperless mobile scanning, why Albertsons insist on paper printing?Im in a workplace that My employer regularly dispatch eGift card as extra benefits, this time choosing Albertsons eGift card is a big mistake, i have shared this experience everywhere and before Albertsons can take mobile scanning eGift, Im not going to Albertsons again,My past experiences with Ralphs/Target/Walmart were all pretty good, but Albertsons is too bad 😔

As far as grocery stores are concerned Albertsons is always a decent place to go. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful and they could the lines moving. Everything is kept extraordinary really clean especially during this crisis with the covid-19. I shop here all the timeand they even have a bike rack for me to lock up my primary mode of transportation which is a big deal for me. Easily accessible off of highway 111 however you get here its a great place to shop.

Nice produce and layout and the carts have quite a big shelf that you can put heavy items on to save wear and tear on your back.A lady wearing hi-viz packed my shopping. Not sure why they were wearing hi-viz as I could see her pretty clearly anyway. Is it a new fashion thing? I find it hard to keep up with all the new fashions these days.As I was leaving I noticed a man walking out who had a whole basket of used bicycle tyres. I dont remember seeing the used bicycle tyre aisle but I guess there must be one somewhere. Let me know if you find it.

Best store for bakery. Tasty fresh bread. Cakes are fresh, delicious and beautiful. Good for balloons, plants and flowers. Expensive for wine and other spirits, even with the 6 bottle discount. Go to Ralphs or stater brothers for beverages. Rest of groceries are expensive here as well. Dont know why but checkers.are not as.friendly here as other stores.

12-14-19 I Will never use this store again. Deep Canyon Palm Desert. 4 different times I have made an order with the service deli. Every time they either lose my order or it is not made and ready when I go to pick it up. I have spoken with the manager and his excuse is that they have new employees. This place is amazing! It may be a little bit higher priced than others but they make up for it in quality service from staff & geniuely nice people. Romero is a great guy who is always happy to see you & makes you feel welcomed. This is why Id rather go to Albertsons than walmart, they know my name here, they ask how Ive been & geniuely care about your needs. I wish ai could leave a lower score than a 1*. My niece and her fiancé had a horrible experience there today. They are vegans for many reasons and they picked up a healthy fresh salad today for lunch. When the got to the bottom there was a healthy meaty bug LARGE just laying in with the bottom greens, very dead. I hope to be able to post photo. They responded by bringing a new salad and $3 off coupon towards next purchase! OMG! Be aware! Disgusting!

While at this Albertsons, there were 3 teens in the store without masks (which is now mandatory by LAW). I said something to them. When I got to cashier & mentioned it. She spoke to the manager who said hed been told, but hes not the police. Im sorry. His job is to enforce it, if not on principle, then to protect his employees AND customers. Otherwise people will feel they have a choice because its not being enforced. Other grocery stores are enforcing, so I wont be back here.

Kudos for biggest and (abeit subjectively) best Grocery Store on highway 111 in the entire Coachella valley. The workers feel like friends the management like family. Always willing to help and 3s a crowd so very seldom do I wait. They have free customer wifi and a coffee bar as well as Bank located in the front. Beautiful bakery and meat Department and amazing floral displays plus money services. The only issue I have is the fact they took away their recycle center last year. Come on Albertsons youre the biggest grocery conglomerate in the world lets go green!
