I had a horrible customer service experience there over the weekend. The lady at the bakery department wasn’t very friendly and acted like I was bothering her. The whole experience was very unpleasant. When I looked at her name badge because I felt like reporting her I noticed she was actually a manager. Shameful. I sent a lengthy email to store manager with no response. Then I called the number on receipt and reported my bad customer service and haven’t heard from them either. Such a big company I’m very surprised at their lack of concern. Needless to say I will never shop there again.

They had beautiful flowers/ arrangements for Mother’s Day. They also had a nice selection of Mother’s Day Greeting cards. This location is very clean and organized. They have power chairs with a basket attached. Useful for people with limited mobility. They have handicap parking for disabled people with a Placard.

Great clean store. A very wide variety of options to choose from. I love the deli that they have as well as the Starbucks. The caveat is there super expensive. A loaf of bread that I can get at Walmart for $2.40 is $5.25 here . I dont know. If you got the dough, and traveling somewhere else is the equivalent to gas money, than paying the extra price isnt that bad.Also, no black hair products FYI. Not the reason why Im giving them a star down. Just a heads up for anybody who might be misconceived by the term wide variety that Im using.

This Superstar Albertsons is incredible it is very large and spacious.. You will spend hours in there because they have such a huge vast variety and selection. The aisles were wide, clean, and one of the few stores that all their shells were fully stocked amazing. I would highly recommend this store.

This is a good Albertsons. There is plenty of variety and the Tri Tip is great. They are the only place in town that doesn’t trim the fat cap and the price is great. Nice people but the lines are slow and getting someone out to swap out a gas tank is no fun. But overall great supermarket

Monday my husband and I went to the Glendora Albertsons store is very nice and clean, but the lady working on the meat department is very rude and this is not the first time she treat us badly it been over three times, I like Albertsons meats but just because of her we don’t go, she always gives us attitude and smart remarks, I treat her kindly but is not working That’s why I’m writing this report please talk to her to pretend she likes her job . Terrible serviceUpdate: Such a conveinient location and such chronic, horrible customer service. Ive tried calling the store 17 times this morning. No answer.Its a super convenient location for me. The store is well laid out, clean and friendly. However, I dont like the games Albertsons plays to give you a fair price - Fab 5, Digital coupons, Must by 4, Mix n Match, Monopoly, etc. For example, every week soda is a different price. The deli has chronically poor service. Furthermore, they have the worst checkout lines of any store Ive ever been in. It often takes longer to checkout than to shopIts a handy store to run in and grab an item, or to pickup sale items, otherwise youre paying top dollar. I do the majority of my grocery shopping at a more reasonably priced store which also has faster checkout lines.Vons, up the street, is owned by the same parent company yet has better service.

Best market, great friendly and polite staff. Even the customers are kind and considerate. I left a 12 pack of coke on the shopping cart, I couldnt believe that instead of taking it for themselves, they returned it to the market where I was able to retrieve it. Thank all of you.🙂

Deli area is fabulously stocked with lots of goods. Bakery doesnt disappoint, my favorite are the fruit filling cakes. Prices can be on the higher side but everything has always been good quality and the customer service is always nice.

Employees at this store are mighty angry, especially in the bakery. The lady discounting the bakery goods this morning (latina with tattoo on forearm) looked like shes ready to stab anybody who bothers her. Asked her a simple question and then fled when she responded so angrily. Evelyn, one of the cashiers is also very rude. Perhaps Albertsons needs to offer better pay, bonus incentives or free counseling services because these employess are definitely not happy with their jobs and probably not happy in life.

I visited this store yesterday to purchase some groceries and some ready made salad for dinner. I was unable to locate one item I needed for dinner, Chicken Ala King from Swansons foods. I asked a employee of Albertsons, were I might find it in the store. The employee stated she never heard of the product and was not sure were I might find it in the store. I then went to the casher and asked the same question that I asked the first employee were I could find the chicken ala king. And again I got the same response, except this time the casher stated I might find it some place near the tuna can products. I had already checked that aisle prior to asking the two employees. Bottom line, both employees did not go out of their way to assist me to locate the product I wanted to purchase. The (I dont care and dont bother me) attitude of both employees were very unprofessional. Both employees were not exactly busy and the store wasnt that busy at all. Both employees could of taking just a couple of minutes to help me personally to locate the product I needed to purchase. I will never shop at this store again. One more thing, I went down the street to Stater Brothers and purchase the Chicken ala King. One other thing I notice, Albertson is about 25% to 30% more expensive then the nearest competition.

I dont like that you have to use an app for many of their savings now, but that is a sign of the times I suppose.Im also disappointed that quite a few of their handicapped parking spots were removed in order to make room for the curb pickup spots.I do appreciate the selection of products available and their food being fresh!Their bakery is always full of tasty treats as well

They didnt round up carts. It was 107 out so walking around looking g for when with a senior mom wasnt to easy. I found a cart but on of the sides was missing. They use to always have 1/2 sheet chocolate cake with buttercream frosting but last few tines only white cake. Had to get cupcakes but theyre half white half white. But they still have good cakes. Best around

Management and staff were very kind welcoming down to earth people that to my experience quickly noticed I was in need of help and just as quickly got the right person to take care of my inquiries. I really like how neatly arranged everything was stocked even the fruit! I was amazed and definitely impressed by the sight of it. 🤘🤓 Thanks for an excellent experience and wonderful service. Definitely worth a visit for the welcoming atmosphere and the quality in the fruits vegetables meats and variety of selection they offer. 👍

I dont really shop at Albertsons, but I happened to need to purchase grocery items. This store was close by. It is a nice size store. The employees were all very helpful. Grocery stores have certain criteria to hit on a regular basis during certain hours for secret/mystery shoppers. Ive got places where you can tell the employees were exceptionally inauthentic because they simply wanted to avoid getting a bad score should they be the one who interacts with the secret/mystery shopper. That being said, I did not encounter this with any employees at this location. Everyone genuinely wanted to be of assistance which felt great. The check out process with quick, friendly, and seamless. Bravo.

Great store. Very clean and well stocked. Very friendly butcher area as well. We can always find what we are looking for I WISH THEY WOULD START GRILLING AGAIN! They had the best ribs and tri tip on the weekends that they would grill and sell, but stopped when COVID started and haven’t started back up again.

This is my go to grocery store! Though its not the closest to my house, it consistently has the best quality food and service. They always have what I need in stock. It is definitely worth the extra drive. The staff is friendly and helpful. Especially the seafood counter specialist Gracie. She goes out of her way to ensure you get what you need and always with a genuine smile. Whether it is counting out an exact number of scallops, cutting salmon to a precisely requested weight or walking out from behind the counter to show me a great deal in the meat isle, she is fantastic!

There was a variety of staff within store willing to assist any queries. Someone was quick to clean up a spill on floor to ensure no one slipped. Called For a electric bike a townie and lunar gray they said they had it and I said if you don’t mind I need to stop by my house and use the bathroom and they said no come in now we have it available you can use our bathroom. I get there and a woman’s looking at the bike and one of their employees said yeah I forgot to tell you I’m sorry she called about 10 minutes ago for the bike so if she doesn’t get it I can sell it to you. Then after I went to the bathroom and Kevin suddenly they were there before me which was said to me by another employee. This is so messed up because my ceiling has come down in my house they couldn’t find me housing I’m living in Big Bear I had an appointment at USC and next Monday is the first anniversary of my husband‘s passing and they did that to me and those people were not there before me because whoever told me the bike was on the floor he said no one’s in come on in so their dark-haired younger employee is willing to lie to make the sale after another employee already told them that I had called before they came in then they lied to me Wouldn’t give them my business that they had the last bike on earth

The store is very clean and they have a good selection of fresh baked goods and vegetables. The prices are a little high unless you buy the sell items then its great. The cashiers are mean not very friendly and very slow. They also do not know how to bag the groceries so pretty much bag your own stuff if you dont want your bread put on the bottom of the bag and everything else on top.

Clean store and a decent variety for a moderately sized store. But beware, they do not check or monitor their stock and expiration dates. Only been shopping there a year, but have gotten sick 3 times due to expired food (and not by a day or two). Picked up some mac n cheese on 2/21 and went to make it and found it had expired on 2/10. I usually check dates because of their consistent history, but forgot this time. Ive brought it up to the cashiers a number of times but nothing has improved. Dairy - yogurt and cottage cheese have been the biggest issues. Been a couple times you couldnt even find any non-expired ones. Check the dates!

I come here about 3-4 times a week. It’s a great market. The employees are all so nice and very helpful. I love Evelyn! I usually come around the nighttime and she’s usually there. Albertsons on Route 66 in Glendora has done some upgrading to their shelving and aisles. It appears that they may put in new flooring. The aisles feel wider and they have sectioned off the self check section and looks like they added more self check registers. This store also has a Starbucks inside. They also got new shopping carts that say you can use googlepay checkout for more ways to pay. Check out deals with their phone app as they have many digital coupons and lots of specials and sales.

My past experiences with this store has been positive.However, today I went in to purchase some shrimp, and found it as advertised. And the total price was way over what I had anticipated. The cashier Tom is new or something, and was unable to void the transaction. So he called the front end manager who did not have a name tag on. When I asked her why, she just said its a Friday deal. Aftetwards, she just voided the transaction and walked back to her register.The gentleman Grant went back and forth between the front end and the seafood department, along with Chris and Ray, who work in the department, honored the price due to a misplaced tag.And between this time, the front end manager went outside of the store. I then asked to voice my concern with the management. Missy was really courteous and friendly, as she listened closely to what I had to say and apologized. I felt bad because this was not her fault at all!Great customer service! I had to deduct a star because I wasted about half an hour.

Went to pick up prescriptions. Two were ready, and another had yet to refilled. And another had to have my doctor send a refill. All four refills were requested on Saturday and today is Tuesday, and will need to make another trip to pick up that prescription. It has been nothing but problems since they closed the Vons Pharmacy. There I had my refills (5) synched and on auto refill. Never a problem and also had a good relationship with the pharmacists who would greet you by name. I do see the pharmacists from Vons and they acknowledge you when you see them, but here the seem to bee just pill counters. Time to find another pharmacy.

This Albertsons store is top notch! I reviewed them on yelp previously, because they just cant be beat. The store staff are courteous, and always greet you with a smile. The store itself is well stocked, and if they dont have the item you are looking for- they will order it for you happily. The floral department is amazing! I have bought many arrangements from them because of their design. And the smell carries throughout the store from these flowers. Their deli now even carries fresh sushi- what more can we ask for? Waaay to go guys!!

Tried to call ahead to pre order chicken and was stuck in virtual loop. Decided to go to store and there was the sweet counter girl by herself. Wonderful cashier, great direction. I purchased a peppermint hot chocolate, medium, $3.55. Service was really bad. The drink was worse. I get them every time at Starbucks til the holidays are over. The girl loaded the drink with chocolate chip pieces, thought it was funny, wiped my cup off with a wet rag. Not acceptable.

Here are my observations: dirty floors, broken floor tiles, be careful of misleading advertising. I shop at Stater Brothers or Wal-Mart and their prices are much cheaper than here.

My work partner suggested we stop here for lunch, food from the deli.Ive always been a big fan of Albertaons and this location doesnt disappoint.A five star grocery store. Ample parking, very clean inside and out, and superb employees.As anyone who has read my reviews knows, Im a huge advocate of customer service. I go there all the time. Conveniently local and I like that they carry at least some meat products that are grass-fed and have no nitrates or nitrites. Keep your eyes peeled for them though. The unhealthy meat is what most stores will always use to get your attention first.

Not good was having a baby shower ordered chicken along with other salads was a little late & get there & this rude old lady with Grey hair with a major attitude comes up to me & tells I was late so they threw out my order of 65 pieces of chicken & had to wait about an hour so they can fry me new chicken & I wasnt the only one they did this too. Prices vary much and on the high side. Decent sale prices especially on their Choice Grade Beef ! One negative item is the butcher and the meat department says they cannot grind up beef for hamburger. It has to be purchased package already. That doesnt sound like very good butcher service. Whenever I see Round, Chuck or Brisket on sale, I usually have the butcher grind them into hamburger packages. I do that because most stores sell them offer Ground Round ground chuck or ground brisket on the Shelf.

The Bakery section of this store is atrocious. I called for a candy cake and was given the run around about having it made 10”. The employee kept repeating that he had to ask the manager if they could make a cake that size. Yet never bothered to go and ask the manager, just kept repeating himself. This is the kind of customer service that is going to destroy their support for their union. They’re about to go on strike, and I for one shall cross the picket line and buy from the scabs Albertsons brings in. The management needs to address these horrible customer service concerns.

Have been shopping this location for years. Always luved it. Too bad that it seems like since the merger/buyout the store has lost a bit of its luster. Produce dept. Doesnt seem to have the same quality, and shelf items seem a little more hit & miss at times. Some of the exceptional veteran employees are still there, but we dont seem to see quite a few of the old familiar faces also. Dare I say they are being replaced with younger, less experienced lower waged workers? While we still feel the store is a cut above many others, we are feeling the frustration of the changes.

The manager of the store refused to sell me drinks and saying that DMV sent me This temporary ID is illegal. don’t sell alcohol to me. I explained to them that the temporary ID is legal. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. To celebrate the holiday with my family, I usually bring the temporary ID to Wal-Mart, Target and buy drinks. No problem. The lady manager in this store rudely said that you can go to Wal-Mart to buy it. I know their service is very poor, rude and lacking common sense. The temporary ID issued by DMV, they even said that it is illegal, it is impossible.

Every time I go to the store the meat they sell in the meat department is bad the bacon looks yellow for the peppered bacon the hamburgers have no taste The manager Jeff profiled me I went into cash a check that I always cash at the Albertsons in San Dimas but because I live in Glendora I decided to go to that store he told me that I cannot cash a check unless it has his name on it. Or if it was for groceries which would be a voucher they cash checks just not for brown people. I bought hamburgers brought them home one hamburger patty had a piece of glass and the vegetables are always rotten if I could give no stars I would. I have lost a lot of respect for this store as well as our local Vons store. The shelves which contain canned food are empty day after day, the bread aisle the same. They dont seem to be able to restock sufficiently and I suspect that shoppers loading up their carts with essential food items have been allowed to pass through without any restriction on the quantities theyre taking. I may be wrong of course but overall Albertsons IMO has not stepped up to the plate anywhere near enough during this crisis

Its clean and cashier today was kind and sweet but Albertson, son of Vons, is very expensive compared to Wal-Mart Supermarket. Same cookies are $2 more at Albertson. Same pastas are $1 more. Meat is $2 more PER POUND. Fruits and veggies are way overpriced and not outstanding. Also only 2 Handicap scooters for the whole store. Finally, besides the exuberant prices, they didnt have Nestle Quick, or a common pasta or Maggie bullion which is available in all stores. They carry just one brand Knorr and thats it. If you love high prices, staff who cant find anything you want, and limited product availability, then this is your store.
