Really clean store. They do have self checkout. Of the 3 Albertsons in Oceanside, the one off of Mission Ave is the only one without selfcheckout. Theres a gas station in the same shopping center along with a few other stores like T-mobile and Petsmart. There are plenty of items in stick. The front setup is a bit different, but I really like it.

There’s a lot to hate about Albertsons lately. Albertsons used to be your friendly neighborhood store motto now it’s a bunch of unfriendly workers.Cons: The self checkout is a pain; whose idea 💡 was it to put a security guard to watch you checkout on top of the cashier?? It’s overkill and makes us not want to shop there. There’s also always moldy fruit here it’s been a big problem and the deli is often disappointing with burned chicken and unappealing looking food. Unfriendly workers who don’t smile or are helpful.👎Lately I just avoid this Albertsons location. The only reason I go to any Albertsons now is because someone has given me a gift card. I shopped this location for 3 years, no major problems, the homeless weren’t a big problem and no major theft I ever saw, so tell me why they have this skinny scrawny security armed guard walking around the store now just in the last 6 months?? I saw 👀 the security guard tell a homeless guy he wasn’t allowed in the store last week, the homeless guy was clean & had just stepped into the store; he also wasn’t bringing anything or any bags into the store. While I understand some patrons are uncomfortable with the homeless population I find this to be discriminatory & disgusting behavior.Pros: Selection, custom ordered cakes and rewards/sales.

Its a good store. I dropped in looking perchance they might have Japanese whisky on hand. The wine and liquor staff pointed without hesitation to the bottle of Japanese Hibiki I was inquiring for, and in friendly fashion went back and obtained a fresh boxed bottle of this very special whisky. Impressive stock of liquors and knowledgeable staff!

Shady pricing! The prices never ring up as advertised. The digital coupons and Friday specials aren’t worth the effort. Even using a cashier they get it wrong, then get all bad attitude on you. It took close to five minutes to get the price per pound right and the short cashier dude was pissed, like I’m just supposed to say that’s ok. The adjustment was $20.I won’t go back because they have to know the prices are wrong and continue to not fix the problem, bc for them it’s not a problem.

If you are a Verizon user make sure you clip the digital coupons AND download each one BEFORE you enter this store. One of their employees told me their internet doesn’t really accommodate Verizon. You have to walk outside to download them. Their new app requires two steps first clip then download. The staff is super friendly tho.

I am happy with the stores overall selection on everything from fresh meat & produce to their frozen food department.I have to drive on Vista Way so I am glad their store hours are 6am till 11pm because I am able to shop after some of the traffic lessens in the east bound direction.

This is one of the nicest stores within the Tri-City area its huge has a pharmacy has a Starbucks all the baked goods are fresh I always grab a cheese bagel those are delicious they have plenty of food for those who are on the Run or who are grabbing lunch everythings fresh prepared the customer service is impeccable they have self checkout everything you probably need at a grocery store

Huge store with nice wide isles! It was super clean, the produce was fresh and my pet peeve is asparagus not in water...here it was in water and looked delicious. The checker was nice and friendly too. Ill definitely shop here all the time.

Its big, easy to navigate(wide aisles), very clean, and usually low-key, crowd wise. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy in and out parking, close to other stores and great access to the freeway. Also has a pharmacy with great service. I particularly like the seasonal items, like decorations, and their floral department. Yes, its pricey, but I cant imagine any item you might need not being available, and I find the wide aisles and easy access worth a few more dollars.

Every time I go to this place I find something that’s outdated, someone needs an in service on how to rotate when restocking. Check everything you buy at this place including the bread and especially dairy and meats that you purchase. Dairy is a big one, I once found multiple packs of butter that had expired almost a year prior.Update: There have been many improvements at Albertsons, I haven’t found anything outdated in a long time. The only thing that has really changed are the prices of everything, it’s crazy how much things are in this store. If you use Digital Coupons on their app you can save a lot of money. One of the cashiers told me about it about a month ago and the amount of money that I’ve been saving is phenomenal.

The market was very clean and organized. The people at the register were helpful. I found one item in my shopping cart damaged. The cashier had someone look for a replacement and bring it to the register. The market has a coffee shop and a flower shop. They also have a pharmacy and a wine section. There are lots of parking spots to accommodate any size vehicle.

Store is wonderful and the staff is incredible. Some of the store brands are questionable. Bought a pie crust, sub par. Didnt fit the 9 pan ( like it said that it would). Very stiff and wouldnt mould. Split a lot of times. It didnt turn out like it should. Will buy the tried and true Pillsbury one next time.p.s. it wasnt expired either.

The staff is friendly and the store is clean. They recently merged with Vons and since the level of customer service has gone down. Though they still have the signs up, they no longer do 3s a crowd at the checkout stands. And the wait times are longer. It is hard to get in and out quickly.

Self check is a joke! Every movement causes sensors to think you have missed scanning an item. If they are SO worried about theft, dont have self-check. In the end, it was easier to reload my cart and move my purchases to an employee manned check out station.

Not sure what the point is as far a costly remodel and a marketing campaign about how much better you are now, if you cannot get someone with the most basic customer service skill to man the deli.They always seem to be confused about whos first even when there is nobody else there ... The big guy working today definitely has no business dealing with customers. Zero skills ... Zero customer service but hey everything is better with the new and improved Albertsons except maybe the most important thing ... Good service.

I have recently been there to order cakes for my kids birthdays. Ive ordered three cakes in the last few months. This will be the only place I order cakes from now on! Amy was so awesome in the bakery- she helped me with ideas, had the best customer service Ive experienced in a long time..(and my kids were so excited to see their cakes - look exactly how they wanted) ! She did a beautiful job on each one!!! I also think compared to other stores your bakery department has the most beautiful cakes Ive ever seen at a grocery store, whenever I pick up the cakes, I cant help but check out all the ones in the display case-hardened she does a fantastic job- you guys are lucky to have such a great employee..( and your meat Dept looks fresher and more stocked) than any other store in the area! The rest of the store is in disarray- but the bakery and the meat Dept make it worth the trip to this store.

After getting some nonsense from the national brand pharmacy down the road about online registration for moms covid booster, we checked here. Pharmacy was closed for lunch, but she was able to walk in next day and was cheerfully assisted. I will be returning to check the grocery side of things on merit of that alone. Call ahead to check pharmacy hours, lunch is not posted online.

I asked for a store directory as I am new to this site, forced to use this store as Ralphs continues to close sites. I was told they didnt have any. But, all the aisles are labelled. Well, duh. I explained that takes longer as you travel back and forth trying to locate products. I do like the brightness and spaciousness of the store.

This is one of my main stores I shop at. The staff is friendly and helpful if you need it. There selection is good and there is quality products to be found here. Also they have a new app that a saves you money if you download and use while shopping. Will save the discounted prices in the app so when you us your phone number or store card it automatically rings up the discounted price. Very handy!

This is a very average Albertsons grocery store. Nothing great, nothing bad. Theres a Starbucks inside and they usually have an okay selection of floral arrangements. The deli here feels small, and they dont carry my favorite brands of meat and cheese. Average selection of wine, and a walk-in beer cooler. Their dark beer selection leaves a lot to desire.

I called this particular Albertsons store in advance to make sure they had the electric handicap carts before I went inside. When I entered the store the carts were not visible. I limped around the front of the store for a few minutes asking various employees where the carts were. Everyone pointed me in the same general direction but I still could not see the cart. Finally a cashier told me well theyre right behind that counter. I still could not see them. She directed me to a small side door in the service counter, where I finally spotted the carts. Unfortunately, the door would not stay open while I tried to escape with my cart. Finally a bystander took pity on me and held the door so I could get the cart out. When I did sit down on the cart the seat was so wobbly as to be dangerous. Im using the handicap cart because of my bad knee and hopefully it wont be permanent, but this experience was not the highlight of my day. I found it extremely frustrating bordering on humiliating as Im sure other disabled persons do as well. Surely Albertsons can do better in this area.

This review is solely reflected on the service by the cashier, Lynn, at the Albertsons on Marron Rd. I was buying an item that had a Just for U coupon listed on the store counter. Before taking the item to the register I made sure the coupon was for the item, I even matched the bar code. I took a picture of the coupon. When I was at the register, Lynn was very rude when I tried to tell her the item I was purchasing had a sale tag. I offered to show her the picture on my phone and she would not even look at me. She talked over me as if I was not important. She asked the bagger to go check on the tag. I asked her to please look at my phone as I was in a hurry to get back to work. Again, she did not acknowledge me. When the bagger came back she said that I was right. Lynn them was saying it was my fault for trying to add the coupon to my Just for U app last minute. I told her I did not do it last minute, I made sure it was there before I walked up to the register. She kept trying to say it was my fault (I didn’t put the sale tag up, It is not my fault her register wasn’t bringing up the sale price). I understand things get mis-printed all the time and I completely understand when mistakes happen (I work in customer service) but, Lynn’s behavior towards me and lack of helpfulness was completely unacceptable, and I am appalled that someone with such horrible customer service would be allowed to work as a cashier. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I made a manager, Ashley, aware of the situation and she was quick to help me. She looked at my app, looked at the coupon and acknowledged that the mistake was on their end and she took care of me in less than 2 minutes. Thank you, Ashley, for the great service. This store needs more employee’s like you.

Meat Dept. We went to the meat department to purchase a pork butt that was on sale. They only had pork shoulder on display. We looked for a few minutes for a meat department employee.. couldnt find any. Finally found a employee..he didnt have a name tag. We ask if he had any pork butt available. I dont see a problem with making the alcohol aisle 21+. Reason being is, you got to be 21+ to buy as well as drink alcohol, its not a waste of money. The guards keep them from losing money. Only reason you should be ticked off is if your just trying to come up . Other than that, Cool store employees all very helpful, wether they are able to help or not.

I told myself I never wanted to go to Walmart again because I hate how they lock up everything, none of the employees know where anything is, and no one is around to help when you need them. So I started going to Albertsons. I love it, it’s quite, calm and the employees are kind, knowledgeable, and quick. The only thing that’s not giving them 5 stars Is there low stock on formula for WIC. Iv been there three times and they never have enough and in order for me to use the check I have to get 7 cans at one time. They don’t ever have at least 7 cans in stock for WIC. I’m forced to use another store for that which is a tad bit Inconvenient.

I went to this Albertsons a while back & will never return. Im a new mom and needed to get groceries & I took my son with me. I asked a worker where the bathroom was so I could change him & instead I got judgment. She informed me that I shouldnt be here and hes too young to be out. I was at a loss for words, I changed my son & left the store. I can not judge the whole store based off of one worker but I will not be returning.

Albertons has definitely become a go-to grocery store for me. Despite the fact the location is absolutely perfect for me, the prices and variety that Albertons has to offer is what brings me back. You also cannot go wrong with downloading the App that provides the ability to create your own shopping list and then allows you to scan the item in the store to look for available coupons. I had the worst bagger i have ever had. He didnt have enough bags, i gave hom 3 cloth bags, and he just spread the groceries on top of it all. He threw the produce into the bags, it was unreal. Ive been an albertsons customet for years, but walmart looks better now. Youve lost your edge

The boy Matthew is a liar I called about a refund On a cake that had way too much for Janet I speak to him over the phone and he tells me that all I need is my receipt I asked do I need to ask for him or do I and he says oh and that any manager can refund you I get there and he tells me all no I didn’t say that I said that we could do a partial refund because I didn’t have the cake and I said never asked me about that what she didn’t but in front of his other coworker he lied and said that he did ask me that
