Was a great place to shop at years ago. There were more cashiers, baggers, and people in the butcher block i.e meat cutters and others. Now theres hardly anyone there or on the floor. Theres only 2 cashiers open when there were more back then. Now I only shop here when its continent. I do most of my shopping at Stater Bros were there are more people one the floor ready to help you and more cashiers to get people in and out a lot more faster

Cashier was rude, and their coupon policy is dumb. I wasnt informed that I had to scan my coupon on the app before I started scanning items. I was given no leeway on the issue. So I left my cart in the store and walked away. I wont be returning.

This Albertsons was built on the location of a former Native American burial ground where the Tongva people laid their dead to rest, and the legacy of the burial ground remains as the spirits of the Native Americans of many generations ago haunt this location. Satan himself watches over this Albertsons, his presence clearly felt once you walk through the front entrance. As a good Christian woman, my heart immediately felt like a stake penetrated through it when I walked through the front door. I felt nauseous, nearly fainted and collapsed onto the floor, and the employees here had to call an ambulance for I neared death and stared Satan directly in his fiery red soulless eyes as I was blacking out on the floor. There’s very clearly a portal to hell beneath this store, and only those who dare come near it and feel Satan’s wrath shall shop here. Albertsons is an evil grocery store, and those who do shop here, repent and praise Jesus!

The five star rating is specifically for Massimo, in the liquor department. He has consistently suggested beautiful bottles of wine. Ive enjoyed every one of them. He is very knowledgeable and familiar with the various wineries. When he is there, he immediately greets me and asks if he can be of assistance. He is truly this stores gem. I have walked the other departments while shopping, if employees are passing thru there, I can honestly say Im not greeted, let alone looked at. I believe the gentleman in produce greeted me a few times. Naturally the checkers are pleasant and greet me, except for one young man who is a bit quiet. If it werent for Massimo, I probably would go to Ralphs or drive to Albertsons Yorktown. But the store is so convenient to the harbour. At times it can get busy, they can probably open more check stands more quickly than they do. But they may be under staffed (?). Other than maybe remodeling/modernizing the store, which it could use; for a store this small they always have what I need. Massimo if you see this, I love the Napa Cellars Cabernet!

The store always maintains a very professional and clean environment the products always placed out very nicely and I love shopping here I’ve gotten to know many of the cashiers and they are all incredibly friendly the store manager is always very kind and greets me when he sees me. Came in one night with my husband to purchase groceries (obviously). We were at checkout. The Chinese boy who was supposed to be bagging our items was more concerned of the self check out line where a hand full of people were basically stealing everything they came in for. My check out person stopped what she was doing to run after the people running out of the store, items never got bagged to where my husband and I had to do it ourselves and I’m pregnant with twins so when the people being blocked at the door proceeded to fight with them it caused a lot of unnecessary drama and stress upon me because their lost prevention wanted nothing to do with the situation, I’d rather order online or only go in if those people never work when I come in ever again.

13+ years now this is one of two of our neighborhood grocery stores. We lost our cashier later butcher Aunt Rosemarie due to traffic deadly accident. Our thought still with her and her family. Today, Ms Ana helped me. Always great customer service.

I like to stop here on my way back home from the beach. The workers are super friendly, and they also have a great selection of prepackaged sushi, protein bars, and this store carried Catalina Crunch cereal- delicious and low sugar (even diabetic friendly)!

Employees are good, not enough cashiers when busy... but the store DEFINITELY NEEDS to Enforce the MASK MANDATE as customers can be Immune compromised! Please help keep them safe! Noone wants to wear a mask, not even them/us! We all know its not comfortable, they hate it too, but its literally life & death for some. Please help each other & wear a mask. Please! I liked this market because its on the way to the beach. We always stop by & get snacks, drinks etc.. We stopped on the way to our hotel. It was my husbands 60th bday. I love the cups they sold with the skulls. They were in the Halloween section. Thats why it got one star for location. The cashier Terri was very unfriendly & rude. I tried to ask her & make certain comments about some items & she brushed me off & ignored me. I might be back. Not sure . I hope her manager will see this review. She needs training in PR skills.

One of our go to shopping spots. Cashiers are mostly friendly and efficient. I may have had a slow one a time or two but that just tells me I need to plan ahead next time.The only thing that bugs me is when I needed to go to the service counter there was no one there and no way to know how to get someone to come help you. Maybe a call button could work. “Assistance needed”... thankfully I haven’t needed to go to that counter more than a few times.All in all we like this store and especially because we have learned where they keep most things. Now if I could only learn where my family puts the dishes and groceries then they get put away....

This is the nicest Albertsons around. Friendly and helpful staff. Everyone is always cheerful. I stopped by for a couple of bags of Ice and when i walked in I could not remember where the ice was. A little stopped and asked if I needed help finding something. I guess I looked lost. She happily took me to the correct isle. Thanks guys.

This Albertsons is definitely on the lower end of their scale. Never enough checkers, no self checkout, meat department is mediocre but not terrible. The staff is courteous and do the best they can all things considered. Just seems like a store that upper management has forgotten.

Its a good Albertsons, could be better though.. It could use a Starbucks and a bigger selection, as the store itself is quite small. It is pretty good for what it is though. Its pretty clean and has great quality though a bit pricey. Their chicken are among the best when compared to the other Albertsons near the area.

This Albertsons is closer to me than any other store, but I still regret when I cave in and shop here. Yesterday I got attitude because I asked about a price being double what the shelf said. I took the case of water back myself so she could help the rest of the customers. Got even more attitude when I came back with the cheaper water. My day is worse anytime I shop here, this isnt an isolated event.Go to CVS or Ralphs right up the street, they have friendly checkers and self checkout.

This location is convenient for harbor and customer service is great. John is always so nice and helpful. He will go out of his way to make your experience more pleasant. If you need a money order or anything like that hes usually the one to help. Will go back for customer service like that.

It was not crowded. People were social distancing with masks and the doors and isles were clearly marked. The management might like to think of a better way of getting customers in a checkout than having the cashiers yell. What happens if the customer is hard of hearing or deaf? The cashiers must be hoarse at the end of a shift. Maybe a flashing light or wave a flag.

I came by after eating breakfast with my family at Hot Off the Grill for some gum. Julie, the cashier, was very chatty and nice to the white gentleman she was assisting prior to me. When it came to my turn, she went from pleasant to rude. Her smile went away and her attitude completely changed. After she handed me my change, she went back to her cheerful self with the next customer... who was a white woman.Ive lived in the area for 1 1/2 years and NEVER felt racial discrimination before in my neighborhood. I will never return to this location.

Just had the worst experience. Went to store for the chicken special under just for you....supposed to be 1.47 per lb and pasta at .29.its not enough we have a pandemic going but to get cheated by the store. Went back to get refund and buy chicken for my 92 year old Mom. Cashier had terrible attitude and told me would have to get all thru manager. Instead got cheated AGAIN! This store has some of the nicest most helpful people around. It also has a couple dick heads. Theres a tall guy with a shaved head who never smiles, avoids eye contact and has a demeanor like hes too good to talk to anyone. Acts like he hates his job. Also theres a young guy there who looks like hes about 18. Hes got a lousy attitude as well. Acts like the other tall guy. Recently the young guy bagged my order. His eyes were darting around in all directions while I was standing near him. He never gives me any common courtesy. Im going to call him on it next time.

I go to this Deli in Albertsons couple of times a month to grab some delicious sandwiches that they make they open at 6 a.m. and then I take them down to the State Beach Bolsa Chica State Beach and I use my Golden Bear pass to be able to go park and sit at the beach and have lunch with some of my friends the best part is theyre less than a mile away from the State Beach

Once upon a time this was 1 of the best stores- no sloppy aisles and great meats and good prices. Now you need a calculator and a large vehicle because all the PRICE GAUGING they FORCE UPON YOU! They post the regular price followed by the sales price followed by the extra sale price-which is to force you to buy in bulk to save $! If youre going to buy in bulk thats what Costco is for! I shouldnt have to buy 5 2 liter bottles of soda for the cost to be $1, as it is in real markets, or feel like Im getting ripped off because 1 bottle will cost damn near $3 alone!

Clean store prices are extremely high not enough people working in the bakery and service deli when they see you waiting they dont even acknowledge you they just ignore you until they are finished talking on there cell phones in the corner of their department and when they do finally wait on you they act like your disturbing them and they give you attitude wont be back to this location on Westminster and Goldenwest in Westminster this store just needs there employees to be retrained on what the true definition of customer service
