1st let me sat Albertsons has the best Fried Chicken hands down. Better than popeyes, better than KFC, the absolute best. I love it I stop by once a week and get it and today a young man named Adrian was that the counter and he seem like he really didnt want to help me. He told me the chicken will take about 20 minutes to get what I wanted and he just kind of turned his back on me. I told him I would wait and I just walked around a little bit when I came back you pretty much ignored me gave someone else and order. Let me be taking by someone else. I was pretty disappointed but I did get the chicken so Im in a good mood.

Trying to buy 8 piece fried chicken dark meat and the guy whos there today, he said they stop offering the dark meat only, I did that because the chicken left on the shelf is dry look been there for a while. So I told him I will just wait for the next batch since he is frying already and this guy said the next batch is ordered by someone? Really? Since when Albersons taking pre order like Chinese restaurants? So I ended up not buying at all. So Im giving this guy and the store a half star if I can and be cautious a lot of homeless.

The receiver who works back there, hes an older guy, is extremely rude and mouthed me off when I was looking for a specific product that wasnt in stock. I simply asked if there was any more in the back, and he just told me off rudely saying that we dont have any and he was adamant about not having this item in stock. Never shopping here again. Also, will be calling corporate to address this issue.

Ive been shopping there 20 yrs. Manager Bruce is friendly and professional. Nydia is very pleasant and easy on the eyes. Gina is nice. The deli staff are pretty stiff and sometimes it feels like Im being ignored.. Julie is great..

Okay...really!! I am a Vet, disabled, ordered a cake from Albertsons over the phone. The lady who took the order was great, cake was lovely, and delicious...BUT... I ordered MARBLE cake, which they do not make says their managers Allegra and Devo!!! Called, spoke with Devo who offered a $10 GC to Albertsons, which I mightve welcomed, but he acted as if he had no clue what I was saying, like I was stealing from his mouth! Devo said that is Albertsons version of a marble cake (see images), after I explained there was no marbling or chocolate cake. I agreed to go to Albertsons to meet with Devo, so he could look at the pictures I took. He wasnt there when I managed to get out of bed following recent surgery. Anyway I make my way to the store on Balboa and meet with Allegra, who had already been informed by Devo I was coming. She was very excited to explain it was not THEIR fault as they dont make the cakes! The cakes are delivered frozen and they ice them. Umm whaaaa?? Albertsons does not make cakes? Ive been buying cakes there for more than 15yrs, 3 or 4 times a year. The one in Burbank was amazing!! Allegra (repeating Devos rethoric) said the cake was not traditional marble but its not their fault because the cake was frozen and delivered to them that way!!! She made some lame offer of a future cake discount or layer... LMBO, like Id ever go back to this chain. The cakes are great, but if Devo and Allegra, Mr and Mrs - Its Not Our Fault - blame someone else and walk away... are the face of Albertsons, I wont be back. I refused the discount...I’d rather folks know how sloppy these two managers are and the truth about Alberstons frozen cakes. Im only one, but if enough people get the message out, maybe one will become 1000. Thank you Allegra and Devo!!!

Has a lot of variety . Friendly enough staff. Clean good selections and cuts of meat. Nice but pricey. Everything seems like its getting pricey here in Los Angeles, food, gas, clothing etc. Good store. Good parking. One can get in and out quickly. Helpful Managers.

Absolutely, no stars, on this one. I just came out of this Albertsons, on Balboa and Nordoff, and was outright accused of stealing, when I just paid for 200+ dollars of groceries. Ive been shopping here for over 20 years.The store manager that accused me, was Lydia, she didnt even ask for my receipt she just outright accused me, said she saw me walk out the door without paying, when I showed her my receipt, she still questioned it, and had some muscle with her, to take me down, apparently. She never apologized, and walked away, with no remorseI will never step foot in this store again !!! You shouldnt either, if you like to be profiled, just because you have a beard and longer hair... cant believe this is the world we live in. So utterly belligerent.And to add insult to injury, The service was nonexistent, couldnt find items that Im sure they had, but other than the cashiers, no one around.This lady, Lydia is definitely not a manager

Did my shopping and went to the checkout line. As the young gentleman was scanning the groceries, a woman who was the head of customer service (I believer her name was Gina) came up to the cashier and loudly asked to see the schedule. She took it and looked at it for a minute, then came back behind the register, grabbed the young gentleman cashier around the waist, and proceeded to push and pull him out from behind the register, stating that she was the cashier and he was on go backs. I was shocked she grabbed him and pushed him around the way she did. If that was my coworker doing that to me, I would have filed a complaint with HR and probably a lawsuit against the company. My jaw literally dropped and my friend with me had the same reaction. The first cashier had scanned a Dunkin Donuts gift card we purchased and he handed it to us. When She then finished ringing us up she couldnt find the gift card and screamed at the poor kid across the store for everyone to hear.I tried to pay with a gift card from Tango that my work had given me. They said since the gift card was a QR code and not a bar code, and since it was not printed out (it said right on the giftcard they could take it from a mobile device) they would not accept the gift card. I fully believe they thought it was fake and flat out refused to accept it, and were VERY rude about it. I ended up just paying so I could leave. A week later I took the gift card to the Vons down the street and they accepted it, no issue. Terrible customer service and highly inappropriate.

I was on my way to my niece’s first birthday party yesterday and had an emergency cake situation! I called while driving out, and explained my situation to the woman working in the bakery that morning- I asked if she had just a plain white smash cake, she said she did. I asked if she could somehow just put “cow print” on the cake-it was the theme for her party. She asked how long till I get there, I said only 20 min away! I got there and seen the cake, I was shocked!! Couldn’t of asked for a better cake, she definitely saved our day- and my niece’s first birthday party!! I wish I knew your name, I will forever be grateful for you girl! You deserve a raise!! : )

My new favorite market. They dont judge you here. They dont give me and my bf dirty looks. We choose to not wear a mask and I am thankful Albertsons doesnt make an issue. I usually shop at Ralphs and f4l but honestly we enjoy coming here so much more. Your employees have been kind and dont refuse us service. I feel like a normal person when I am here. Please dont change that value in your stores. It truly is appreciated. Plus great variety of shopping items.

Just came home from shopping here as its the closest market to our home we got after target. Anyways, this is the 4th time I have had to return refrigerator items because when i open them they are completely molded. Mind you im pregnant, so a few weeks ago i wanted the 7 layer dip they make and when i open it the top layer of the dip was coveted in fuzzy mold. Today, I come home and the refrigerated fresh tortillas were not so fresh and also growing fuzzy mold on the first couple tortillas. Its either that fridge or the maintenance on their food items are very low grade. Needs work. Unprofessional and hazardous to anyone health.

The only grocery store we go to. Always a fast checkout, polite and experienced cashiers, very well-organized products, & usually has what we need. Really solid and hardworking staff that weve seen for years. Their hours are amazing & they have our backs on almost every holiday. This store is pretty good. The staff is friendly and the food is tummy. Good price depends on what you buy. Keep an eye out for the homeless parking behind Albertsons, parking lot can get messy because of homeless guys. Love the snacks and cookies are delicious.

😣This was my first and last time to enter this establishment. I have valued every other shopping experience at other Albertsons Grocery Stores. This location had filthy shopping carts and if I wasnt needing to get a couple groceries for my son, I would have turned around. 😣The cashier didnt clean between customers, the checkout turntable was dirty too. 😊The best thing was that the floor looked clean and the cashier said Have a Good Night😊I decided not to take any pictures as I didnt really want to put my groceries down.

We love our neighborhood Albertsons store! The staff is awesome, and Gina really takes care of everyone!I just laugh, when people complain of crowded isles and lines to get into a Trader Joes, when this Albertsons has both quality and good prices! The shopping experience here is a thousand times better than dealing with a Whole Foods or other specialty chain.

The meat department employees are outstanding. Very good customer service, Im sorry I dont have their names but the head lady working there is outstanding, and really cares about her customers...Thank you!. High quality meats cut to order. I had a great coupon and I purchased 2 Rib eye roasts which were expertly trimmed and ready when I came to pick up.

Lots of available parking. Store is a little older but there was lots of space between the shelves and it was easy to maneuver. I took off a star because the aisles in the vegetable department was tight! I ended up wasting a lot of time there waiting for people and/or staff to move so I could keep a proper distance.

The only I go here because of the convenient location. The wait times and number of checkout lanes is just silly for this size of a grocery store. There is often only 1 or 2 checkout lanes available leading to extremely long wait times. The 15 items or less checkout lane is almost never operating, so for small or single purchase it makes absolutely no sense to come here as you may have to wait 20+ minutes in a line. I have on two occasions left my items at the front and instead went to the cvs or target because of the line. I feel terrible doing that but it’s actually faster to go elsewhere and start all over. Incredibly frustrating

Overall okay, but some of the females that work there got attitudes. And I can recall on instance some years ago where the older Asian lady who works there accused me of stealing and was very rude. On top of that albertsons is one of the more expensive stores compared to Ralphs or especially food 4 less so dont go there to grocery shop. Only for quick items. I price checked and got everything way cheaper at food 4 less

Go see Tenisha in the Deli for the best fried chicken and macaroni salad combos!! Seriously it seems like the magic seasoning that they put on that stuff they might need a 12 step program for because I am totally addicted!Right now they have a special if you get the app at $4.99 get you eight pieces of chicken and let me tell you she won’t hold back you will leave feeling for smelling good and wanting more more!!Julie and Ton And Victor and Tina and Julie and Mary and Suzanne!! Ive only been there twice since Ive started going out and doing some shopping in person. That includes groceries. I was most disappointed by this Albertsons, as there were many empty shelves in the grocery and other places, such as the produce dept, where selection was limited. Suddenly I saw brands in some shelves that I hadnt seen since I was visiting in the Midwest, and in Florida. And those brands were ones considered to be less than the best quality, or at least not what SoCal shoppers are accustomed to. Personally, Im returning to Trader Joes.

Not many Albertsons out there, but I live close to one now. Compared to the average Ralphs experience, well....Its noticeably cleaner and tidy, produce is all well stocked and in better condition (even at night), and there arent outrageous lines. Probably bad for Albertsons but good for me.

Most of the staff is really friendly wjen there is actually staff scheduled.. But as is typical.. 9 registers...one cashier usually. Most of the time it is very clean and stocked well and merchadise is well presented. Zometimes the deli lacks fresh hot food. Many times it is old and dried up.

This must be the only Albertsons store that hasnt been renovated in the past 20 years. All of the other Albertsons locations are very up to date, this one is sadly passed over by the company. Im on my way to Sylmar. And to avoid the heavy traffic on 405 N i usually take Balboa surface road which is faster. But i have to buy Albertsons fresh fried chicken which is better than KFC or Popeyes Louisiana . The store is well stocked, very clean and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I asked for my fried chicken not too crunchy and they offered me the mojito fried potato wedges to try.they were disinfecting the carts the door handles and the display units. I love Albertsons Nordoff Balboa

DO NOT SHOP ONLINE FROM THIS STORE OR ANY OTHER ALBERTSONS.I ordered online via their instacart store and waited 6 days and I still have not received anything yet and just an hour ago I started receiving texts from a shopper that most of the items that I ordered and paid for are sold out byt were available at the time 6 days ago when I ordered them...Incompetent imbicles at Albertsons management could not even put together a proper delivery system and they relied on instacart and now they have a lame excuse to blame thing on the virus situatipn and instacart.Its sad and they lost me as a customer and I wont even wlak into any of their stores any more!

A community staple for decades. Recently underwent a refurb that added a splash of color to the walls, historic photos and a walk-in cold-closet for beer and wine. Workers are great and the store itself has a RedBox, Credit Union ATM, Lotto Machine, DMV renewal kiosk, Coinstar and Key Duplicator machine!

This place sucks, they had over 50 pieces of chicken in the counter. I can not get the 50 pieces of chicken so I have to wait for half an hour for them to make me 50 piece of chicken. This Albertsons is always super crowded they usually have one cashier the line to pay for your food will detour you from shopping somebody needs to tell the manager at least have three or four cashiers especially on a Friday night but then again Ive been here during my lunch hour and it was still the same a long line very crowded
