Today I want to share my experience about a gem I found, its the Albertsons in Sea Cliff Village. Im telling you, this place is an oasis for those looking for a quick, convenient and quality shopping experience.First off, lets talk about their wine and cheese section. Its not just about the quantity but the quality too. I was just amazed by the variety they have. If youre a wine enthusiast, youll appreciate the vast selection of both domestic and imported bottles theyve got. And the cheese? There are artisan selections, imported specialties, classics and everything in between. It’s a true paradise for those with a gourmet palette.But its not just about the selection, the organization of the store is top-notch. Clearly marked aisles, well-stocked shelves, everything is just where youd expect it to be. This place really takes the guesswork out of your shopping.Now, lets talk about their service. Fast, friendly and efficient, making the shopping experience just that much more enjoyable. This is how service should be, period.So, if youre in or near Sea Cliff Village, I highly recommend stopping by Albertsons for your shopping needs. The deli has great selections from coleslaw and potato salad to wonderful salads, meats and other prepared meals.The staff is always working hard and there are long lines. It’s worth the wait.While you are waiting check out the discount cart in the back for some good deals.

Cashier gave me attitude because I didnt know how to use the for U app to purchase an item they were promoting. Id prefer if the staff were more interested in helping customers, rather than treating me as a problem.

Really convenient. Employees are super friendly. The one major problem I have with this location is lax attitude on dogs. There is the occasional service dog but 9 out of 10 dogs are pets riding in the carts or walking through the isles. #LOCALGUIDES

Great store, but if you’re looking for a quick coffee at Starbucks make sure Lexington is not working. He couldn’t be slower. I’ve been here a couple of times and all the times he’s helped me it’s been slow.Good guy, probably well meaning but so slow.

My favorite local supermarket. Not for any other reason than there. Close and convenient and the people are very friendly and helpful. They usually have what Im looking for. But occasionally they dont. This particular location is nice and busy. But not so busy that its annoying. Lots of room to move around down the aisles.

❤️ the Yorktown across from Huntington HS. Great meat & fish and meals to cook at home. Nice fruit and veggies section too. Fun store and Starbucks inside. Beautiful flowers 🌹 too.

This is a wonderful neighborhood grocery and sundry store. Great deals, very clean store, helpful clerks, fresh produce, and was not at all crowded. Check out waiting time under 5 minutes. You can find more than groceries here and the newest products. Very large wine and spirits selection. I’d go here if I was looking for a quick or last minute gift search as well. I found what I was looking for and more. I did ask where items were located and was met with very gracious and happy to help assistance from a very kind and jovial gentleman. Visit this store you’ll be pleased.

I’ve been here many times. The store is usually clean and the customer service is good.Although today the cashier and the bagger were talking negatively about another co worker or supervisor. The bagger eventually said hello to me but the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me until she handed me my receipt. She was too busy with work place drama I guess.

Had what we needed. My wife lost her reading glasses there. I went back a day later and the friendly, helpful staff had them in a drawer at Guest Services. She is extremely happy. Thanks to whomever turned them in.

At 9am, expected selection of bagels to be much better. Most of bagels left were the sweet ones, jalapenos and plain.Bagels are Ok, but not what they used to be, size is smaller, not nice and fluffy inside, rather squooshed and doughy, seemed almost like they were a few days old.Big disappointment.

I seriously don’t know how Greg, the cashier, still has a job here. He’s awful. He has the worst attitude and is rude to every customer, including myself, every time I come in here. I literally just witnessed him saying to a customer that was having a hard time at checkout that accidentally donated $10 to the childrens charity, with her requesting to undo it, with him replying “aw, those poor kids”. In the most sarcastic tone. She seemed uncomfortable and embarrassed. Like, what??? Who says that? Please do something about this bad egg. He lacks customer service skills and seems to lack a moral compass too. My friends and I joke about how this location is like the restaurant “Dicks Last Resort”, where they are purposely rude to you. But a grocery store version of it haha. Pretty sad if you think about it. Do better Albertsons

On the way out with my groceries, the plastic holding other bottles of water ripped open scattering all the water bottles all over the parking lot, while my lyft driver is waiting for me to load up, your employee Jeanette rushed over to my aid and was quickly helping me pick them up she even ran in and grabbed me few plastic bags for me as well, I truly truly truly!!! appreciate that employees help I was definitely flustered, so frustrated she quickly went above and beyond for me, and took so much relief off of me! thank you for hiring ppl like her!

This Albertsons really takes the social distancing and masks required seriously. It is really nice to know that someone is taking care of us inside the store. I like the newly remodeled look and also the isles are a little different so it was very nice when someone one of the clerksask me if I was finding everything okay and when I told him I was having a little trouble finding a certain type of coffee he took me to the places in the store that they might have it. It was very helpful and I appreciated him. Unfortunately I didnt get his name but my thanks to him.

The employees are great at this location, great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. However the products they carry have short sell dates, not only that.... in have to constantly look for the expiration dates! Im constantly finding items that are one week to 3 years expired on their shelves. Ive mention this to management often and it seems it goes in one ear, and out the other . I would give this establishment 5 stars, but for the lack of them checking for out of codes they get a three.

This Albertsons is always so clean and organized, fully stocked with everything I need. Theres a Starbucks inside, which is pretty typical, but in this Albertsons, they have this area right off Starbucks where you can sit and enjoy your beverage with a bistro chairs environment. Its always been a nice place to chill for a bit.

Overall great experience. Appreciated the checkers assistance, friendliness, helpful nature. I wasnt pleased that there was a sale tag stating 50% off work a bunch of items underneath the sign but when I went to go up to pay it in fact wasnt the case. . The corner would of sister me with honoring the sale display because obviously that would be false advertisement but I didnt want to hold up the line nor did I honestly want to wait to deal with it. It would of been nice to have it already handled especially after finding out there has already been other customers with the same exact issue.. That was INCREDIBLELY FRUSTRATING.. SERIOUSLY .. BUT OVERALL IT WAS GREAT OUTSIDE OF THAT ISSUE

My main store, I have an uncle named Albert and he likes Safeway...I find that Grocery Stores have unusual names and that subject would make an interesting documentary, atleast speaking for myself, U wonder why they named Safeway grocery stores Safeway yeah, me too. What if Alberts Sons inherited a grocery store chain and they were also cousins of the Cokes ? EVER WONDER ABOUT THAT? IVE GOT YOU ON THIS ONE...Well ancient alien theorists say yes but this is technicaly unprovable because they took off or were taken aboard along with their DNA. They were more than likely probed and became emotionally entrapped by there captors, obviously Stockholm Syndrome and begged to work as a form of payment for a better life in a Gallaxy far far away.

Have done all my shopping at Albertsons for more than 30 years, ALWAYS happy with selection and service. However, this 2020 I have ran into dogs running loose 3 times at 2 different stores and they were NOT designated SERVICE Pets. Employees alerted didnt seem to care. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER; even citywide, dogs must be on a leash! Customer safety MUST BE EMPHASIZED!

Closing the self checkout at 9pm is ridiculous. One cashier can handle customers and the second can oversee the four stations. Not two on registers. Price tags aren’t even accurate, so I wasted time standing on line and inevitably left without making the purchase. Poor managerial choices will end up in a loss of customers. Understaffing is costly.

Went to Albertsons to receive 1st & 2nd Covid shots. The pharmacists were knowledgeable and quick. Shots were no problem. Any more of these Covid-19 shots my husband & I will return to Albertsons. They billed our insurance. No grocery shopping at this time.

This is by far the best location for Western Union transactions in Orange County, bar none.If you have ever tried to receive money via Western Union, I am sure you have realized what a bloated inefficient and expensive system it is to transfer money. I have found that amounts over 200$ result in complete failure of the receiving node. Most will tell you excuses like : no money in the register or Come back later and they may have enough cash or Requesting additional documentation in order to release funds. These are insurmountable obstacles at every other location, but here they are overcome buy buying cash at other registers or whatever has to be done within their store policies.Also, their customer service stays open at least an hour later than any competitors even though the store closes at the same time. There is actually one store that stays open an hour later, but their customer service closed 2hrs earlier and good luck if competitors offer any services the last hour customer service is open. This seems like a small thing, but I have called from an Uber asking them to stay open s little longer and they informed me they couldnt. But when I ran into the store 3minutes late I had found the store employee acting as a Western Union agent had kept themselves logged in and ready to receive my MCT# to expedite the process. You never know when things like that could make or break a persons composure and life experience. You never know when the little things to one person, can set another person onto a homicidal rampage. The employees here take heed of the little things and have made my experience exceptional.I could tell you about little things like looking the other way when I need a wall outlet to plug my phone in. IDK, What the official policy is so I tread lightly. But that is an example of the attitude that is present in the store employees and that trickles down from the management to a customer oriented experience. The cost of doing that is negligible to the store. Yet implementing a service offering of phone charging would be expensive. It would have a cost that showed up on the stores financials and entitled customers would abuse the service and it would cause additional headaches in administering and monitoring the program. But it means the world to me.This is why automated customer service is inhumane and disgusting, effective only to sterilize and insulate an organization from its customers. Thus effectively enabling a divorce between business and consumers at the moment a transaction is complete. You can tell the organizations that do this, they see a person as (total revenue/# of total customers). This Albertsons sees its customers as people and not numbers. They are doing it right.Kudos to the management team for implementing a culture of customer oriented service. This one of the finest examples of how to run a grocery store and the employees should be proud of the experience they contribute to. I am not saying your experience here will be perfect and will walk out with a smile on your face, bc some of the people reading this review are probable self-hating, unreasonable, and miserable a-holes. For those of you who fall into this category, disregard my review, bc there is no hope for you.To those people who have an overly critical perspective examining what is petty and giving it undue importance in an effort to transform others into their company of shared misery, maybe this place is not for you. They should get the sterilized customer service experience so their views do not infect others.Support this store and its employees, it is a rare beacon of successfully serving its customers in an age of ineffective and insulting automation. But keep in mind its a grocery store, its not Disneyland, its still just grocery shopping. When you walk through the doors, dont expect a rush of adrenaline like you are skydiving or the endorphines your brain releases when it finds pheremones pleasing or youll be disappointed.Mic drop. If you forget sure type of food or drink on the way to the beach, this is one of the places to go. They have a vast selection of food and drinks items along with household products and flowers. Along with a bakery and they also sell hot food items. So you can get basically a little of everything. Along with decent prices it is a win win to stop here. There are also decent shops along with this store so you can spend a little things here and relax.
