Stopped by to pick up some friend chicken and potato wedges. Fried chicken seems okay, but there were two bins of potato wedges and the worker grabbed from one bin. When we got in the car tried a wedge and it was super soft and soggy like it was old. Not even a bit of crispyness and it was warm. So I assume the worker knew which were the old wedges and which were the new ones and proceeded to give us the old ones. This surprised me as it was 11:30 in the morning so there should be fresh food.

All shelves full and the people in the deli did everything they could to help me.No weekly ad available.Wish the ap and their website were easier to use. I waste an extra 30 minutes every time I shop trying to make sure I have the right coupons clipped. And 80% of the time, I dont.Please make it easier!

This was my first time shopping at this particular Albertsons. My experience was excellent I have no complaints very easy to navigate and gather all your groceries. Check-out was very fast and easy the clerk was very friendly and helpful. I have no complaints. Besides maybe the Redbox not working and the shopping cart I was destined to use kept veering to the left.

As usual, I enjoyed my shopping experience. Went there specifically for Baby Gala Apples, shown in photos. My 82yo mother prefers these, because they are sweet, easy to chew, when cut into small wedges, as the small sized wedges fit into her mouth comfortably. I also was able to purchase some Porterhouse Steaks, and Pork Chops that Moms prefers for the tenderness and flavor.

Amazing bakery I buy my daughters cakes here every year. This year I wanted to surprise my friends son and I went and placed an order for a cake even though they dont actually make this cake I asked them to use the colors for this game the boy liked its called Among Us and they drew the character just the way the character actually looks like they went above and beyond thanks to the bakery this thing looks amazing my boy loved it!!!

I’ve shopped this store for the last 7 years. In the last few years it has consistently gone downhill. The employees are rude and there’s never a lane open to checkout. This morning was the final straw when I needed to be checked out due to certain items in my cart and nobody would help me. They literally made me use self checkout. A store employee had to come help 3 times and it took several minutes while four employees stood there and chatted. I will NEVER shop here again. Rudest employees ever. All the nice ones have quit.

This grocery store is my favorite to shop for food. I like the store layout and especially how well organized the aisles, shelves and departments are. It doesnt seem to get too crowded which is better for check out purposes. They have a sushi chef that comes in the morning to prepare and package freshly cut sashimi daily. Also a really good variety of food in their deli department. Fresh fruits and vegetables. The store is always well stocked and they maintain cleanliness too.

Good layout and nice wide isles. Never thought Id be so happy about something like that. The produce section is pretty decent, as is the bakery. Overall the shelves are well stocked and its very clean. Employees are everywhere and helpful. Friendly-ish. As is common with this and other brands in the family, theres never enough checkout lanes open. However, I have noticed people from other departments jump on a register to help out. Self checkout isnt an option if youre purchasing alcohol due to state law. Id shop here again.

I believe it’s the little things that can make something a great experience. I’m new to the neighborhood, and I’m so happy I chose to visit the butcher counter here. The butcher who helped me and my boyfriend was so kind and so pleasant to speak with. It made me genuinely happy and I will definitely continue to shop here because of his kindness.

This store used to be classy and well taken care of but service has gone down lately.The good: They carry quality food although prices keep on going up.The bad: Not enough customer service and friendly employees. Employee attitude and service is not what it used to be. They are simply rude snd ghetto.The ugly: Deli area and service is horrible. I waited almost an hour just to order chicken. Employees flirt with customers instead of worrying about waiting times and share unwanted information such as the time they worked in Los Angeles for the homeless community. Store manager didnt seem to care and excused himself stating employees were on break. How is that exactly my concern?Quality of food at the deli has gone down and prices up. I avoid this store as much as I can and recommend 365 whole foods for a much better experience. It is about a mile down the street.Customers be aware of the poor and inefficient customers service provided.

I hate that grocery stores nowadays rely on the self check out to carry the burden of the checkout line. I like this store but I hate that there’s only two regular checkout lines. Fortunately William and Derrick powered through my lane with efficiency and quickness I am grateful for, thank you. I usually shop here for convenience and because they carry the brand of cottage I like which is hard to find anywhere else. Their prices have gone up but not as bad as Ralphs. It would be nice if the water refill machine outside was in the shade instead of in the blazing hot sun.

The store itself is great, most of prople are nice. But i have came a cross to a very bad experience. The person in the front registered or self check out is horrible. This is not the first time i encounter this situation. I felt i needed to speak up, his name is MIKE. He is very rude, has no customer service just plain nasty. MIKE is nice to certain race. I believe everyone should be treated equal, no matter of your race or background. I spoke to the manager Mr. Cisneros, he is a very nice, respectful concerned man, I have spend alot of money buying food, just like anyone else. I just want to be treated equal and with respect.

Samantha working register 7 at around 5:45pm on 4/19 was the rudest cashier I have ever had the displeasure of serving me in the countless visits I have made to my neighborhood Albertsons. As I walked up right in front of her, she couldnt be bothered to stop gossiping about her manager (who is apparently the worst ever) with a bagger (who didnt have a name tag visible or she would have also been named. Now, I understand conversing at work is natural, but when you have a CUSTOMER in your face, and you look them dead in the eye and go right back to gossiping and scanning their items without so much as even acknowledging them with a Hello, thats a problem. She also couldnt be bothered to say thank you as she continued to avoid contact with me handing me receipt. If she cant be considerate or professional enough to halt personal conversation when customers are in her presence--ESPECIALLY if she is diminishing a superior or any coworker--then she need not be at the register. I was VERY put off and agitated by her, and there are other details I could add that could probably identify WHY she deemed it okay to be so rude to me--but I wont even go there.

Very organized and friendly staff. I was able to purchase all the sale items easily when all prices and sales are marked properly. Wide aisles and cleanliness are a major criteria and this Albertsons met that.Shopping after 10pm on a weeknight is best during the pandemic since there were only about five customers shopping, no lines, and social distancing is easily achieved!My only concern is that the parking lot can be better lit. While there were lights, the wattage can be increased.

Great store, usually go to this store if I am in the area or on my way home from LBCC. I usually go to the self check out because I have bad anxiety and prefer it. I just came from there (4/19/22 around 8:20PM) and there was an employee who was suspicious I wasnt scanning items and stood on the adjacent aisle to make sure I scan everything. I just looked at him and he made eye contact. I dont have any reason to steal. I can afford everything I put in my cart. . . I wanted to confront him but I already had an headache and needed to leave.So I am writing this review. Not that it matters but I am Black. I am not sure how many Black customers you guys have coming through there. I know its in the heart of Lakewood. Really weird, because I can go to Albertsons in Gardena and Carson and get treated regularly.I will still go there and if it happens again there will be a confrontation.

A lot busier than my regular store but it was because they have a Starbucks I believe. The store itself was very clean, no strange smells anywhere, not even in the seafood department. Staff were great but most of the customers were very rude. I feel bad for the staff. Good luck guys.

This grocery store is hands down my favorite. I drive here almost daily from O.C to get their freshly made sushi. Mr. Sushi comes in every day in the morning just to make their delicious sushi. He is awesome and if you like sushi, you wont be disappointed by the quality and taste. I also love the employees. Samantha and Mark are the best. They are always helpful and genuine and handled the craziness of Covid. professionally and with a smile.Years later and I only have good things to say about this store. I still love getting my fresh sushi and I still love seeing Sam and Mark.They just remolded their store and liquidated so many skus. Their team did a fantastic job keeping their markdowns neat and categorized and easy for customers to shop. They expanded their floral department and it is stunning!!

Was trying to buy Bais coconut. They were out of the limited but they had boxes of them. Individual deals were going for $1.49 but must buy 5, pack had 6 but cost $11.99. Pretty dumb logic and and you be $2 less in total. Manager Bryan said it was different inventory so they cant price match the deal. Asked if they had coconut stocked up individually and no they were out. Overall this Albertsons been a dread to come too. Ive always enjoyed shopping at Albertsons but this one has managed to iff me more than once. Go to a different location if you still love Albertsons. This ones trash.Take the box to the back, rip it outside its package and you save $2. Irony how companies like this pose as environment friendly and would destroy tree and tax you $2 dollars more. Bad on Bai and Albertsons part on being ECO-FRIENDLY. Save a tree and stop supporting these bums who run an inefficient management team and procurement operation.

FYI The first picture of this store of the front is not this store. It does not have a sav on inside of it....Love this store. Not just bcuz its the closest to my house. Its actually a really solid store. Its got a good starbucks and maria who works at the starbucks is always on point and a lot of times by herself and she holds it down for sure. And the regular chicken strips and the spicy chicken strips and potato wedges at the deli are some of my favorite of all time. Especially fresh. Overall the other products in the store are always fresh store is always very clean and they have a good selection of everything amd the staff is always very friendly awesome. After a couple times there you feel like youve known them forever. Mark and sid are some of my faves. Absolutely recommend this store

Nice t have Costco in the area for bulk purchases. However, I am single. So for smaller quantities I will shop at Albertsons. My usual go to market is Ralphs. We ordered a cake to be made for my sisters birthday well in advance. When we showed up to pick it up they had made us a tiny cake with none of the things we ordered and told us that the cake we had ordered isnt something they make even thoe they had charged us for it and said it was possible before. They did end up giving us another cake for free, and that was fine but the comments made by the manager to my wife including asking her why would she had that cake made in Albertsons in the first place and not gotten it made in northgate or superior. He was also telling the girl that was in the bakery to be quiet when she said that she could make us a different cake, very unprofessional and with racial undertones. We didnt ask for nothing but what we had payed for, and they didnt deliver. Sad because we would always get our cakes made here, but not any more.

Prices rang up different than advertised when I told the checket before the end of sale, she said the prices would adjust at the end. I live in Long Beach and prefer to go to Albertsons in Carson instead of this one that is closer to me... The reason is that I love their Fried Chicken, mashed potato and other meals but Albertsons of Carson has the best Fried Chicken and Habanero Chicken since its really juicy and tastes fresh. This Albertsons Chicken is not too juicy and sometimes hard to eat, also cinnamon rolls are hard not soft. They should try to pay attention to this facts and make stuff better. Disappointed that they are doing absolutely nothing to enforce the mask ordinance, even amongst their own employees. The butcher was not wearing his mask and breathing over everything in the cases. Buyer beware, you might be buying Covid… at any rate, I look for Covid compliance and common sense when picking stores now and Albertsons is at the bottom of the list. See ya!

I used to go to the Albertsons on Spring Street before they closed a few years ago. Now, THAT Albertsons had the nicest employees of any supermarket in the area. They were friendly, courteous, helpful, and enjoyed chatting with you as if you were a member of their family.Albertsons must choose the best candidates to work at their stores because the Albertsons in Lakewood has the same level of incredibly friendly and helpful employees as their other store. As a matter of fact, I drive the extra distance just to shop at THAT store now. (And, no, those employees are not the same ones from the Spring Street store.)I know that Albertsons is under the Safeway umbrella, but their sister stores (Vons and Pavillions) just dont stack up when it comes to customer service and friendliness.

Since I left Albertsons with two free items for playing their Monopoly game and a free neapolitan ice cream sandwich plus a sample of cherry mocha, I find myself compelled to give Albertsons a pretty good rating, because I dont go to the grocery store and come home with free items very often. That was a very mice shopping trip. And since I really came here to redeem my recycleables, I got $11.95 in cash to boot. Sounds like a win-win shopping trip huh?
