The prices here are insane. Canned vegetables that used to be 35 cents not too long ago are now $2.20+, $3+ for milk, $3+ for a loaf of bread. These corporations are trying to price the average person out of being able to do anything but work and sit in their house if they want to afford a decent meal.

The bakery department are awful and rude they completely messed up my cake order a few weeks ago and I gave it the benefit of the doubt to order again in person this time and the older lady who helped me had a huge attitude and super rude! I walked out and didn’t even place my order. I complained to a manger about her employee at the bakery and she didn’t seem to care much. I won’t be shopping there again it’s worth the drive to go to Vons is a sister store anyways! I’ll drive the extra 10 mins to Atascadero. Albertsons needs to train more on their customer service and how they treat people I had my 7 year old son witness the ugliness of that lady’s demeanor... not a good look.

Ive been shopping at Albertson since I was very little. Im so proud that its still around. Its 1 of the best stores... Top notch service and professional. I also want to say that theres a DMV kiosk here. If you want to skip the line of the DMV and even get your tag printed out there, this is the place to go.

I have never had a problem with any of the employees until today. I was in the meat department looking for mild sausage. There was a case of just what I needed but it was closed. There was a lady behind me opening boxes stocking the egg section. I asked her if she could help me by opening the box. She said No but you can ask someone in the meat department she was very snotty and short with me. I found it extremely rude. Do you have some sort of policy that a person from one department cant help with another department? Cant even open a box when a customer asks when you have a box cutter in their hand? If that is the case she could have just said that.

I work for online applications, I have to go shopping for online purchases, unfortunately many times I ask for help to found something no one wants to help, everyone is always busy and in a bad mood, there is never anywhere to park and we have to park in the places for pick-up, today one of the employees was very offensive and yelled at me that we should not park there, it was a horrible experience which I do not want to remember, I simply do not go back to work or buy anything, it seems that in that place The workers are not happy, something is not so good for the employees there, and unfortunately those of us who are trying to work with online shopping no longer want to work for that store either.

I really like shopping at Albertsons. Every one who works there is great. The only thing I dont like is this whole thing with the shopping carts, where the cart stops you from going to far from the store. I left with an empty cart and the door was beeping and I couldnt even put it away. How embarrassing and frustrating.

I have a similar experience with the deli department to the previous reviewer. My crew and I stop every morning at this Albertsons on our way to the airport. We are assigned to a fire fighting helicopter and buy food for the day. I stood at the counter for several minutes, with no one coming to the counter to meet me. Several employees were working behind the counter however. Finally one guy at the meat slicer shouted over his shoulder that he would wait on me when he was done slicing. After several more minutes I inquired about a possible time estimate, since I had to get to work. Thats when I got lots of attitude from him. He said Look, I got All this meat I gotta cut up first! So I left. Since Im not the first one to experience this, maybe Albertsons needs to designate someone to provide customer service in the deli, especially in the mornings when theyre busy. Everyone else in the store seems nice.

I ordered a champagne cake & a fudge cake for my birthday. Excellent. Moist, fresh, delicious & ready on time. Ive ordered multiple times from this bakery & Ive never been disappointed. Omg the line at the meat counter got 10 people in the line out of now where. Michael the meat service guy got everyone done in 5 minutes or less. I was blown away about how fast and Friendly he was. Working in customer service for 20 years, I can tell you that kind of help is hard to come by. Totally would shop here for my meat if I lived in the area

Came into Albertsons this evening and had the sweetest cashier. She was so helpful. She helped the customer before me and was so kind and helpful during my transaction. Her name was Amani. And I really enjoyed going into the store this evening which can be like being on auto pilot. But it was nice to see someone so joyful she really went above and beyond! Thank you.!

The store is quite big and clean too. The salespersons are also very friendly and polite. However, coming to the choice of groceries, the store doesnt boast of much. I wanted A2 milk, but had to go for a different brand. I wanted Fosters beer, but no trace of it. I also looked for a smaller set of non-beef sausages but had to buy the huge pack of 30!!I am not sure about the choices of local populace, but Paso Robles depends more on folks like me from a different place for its economic health. The management has to ponder about. All in all a good place.

From Texas on an extended holiday trip to Paso Robles. We rented a house here and spend the evenings cooking dinner after doing tastings. We have been to Albertsons twice since weve arrived (weve been here two days) and although I dont usually rate grocery stores, the staff at this Albertsons have been amazing. They have been helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. At this time of the year it is easy for people to get a little tired of people, no hint of that here.

I tried to buy a bottle of wine but they wouldn’t sell it to me at the self check out even though other states do sell alcohol at self check outs. They apologized and told me to take it up with my governor and my reply was “Don’t apologize to me, I don’t drink. Be upset with your governor for silly laws that prevent you from generating income because I am not waiting in another line to have someone else check my ID”.

1. DeliI used to go to the Deli to get a sandwich made either in the late afternoon/early evening or early in the morning around 730a for a plain turkey sandwich with just mayo.There is consistently the same issues. In the afternoon, they run out of bread or lunch meat. In the morning I am told they cant make it because the person that makes them called in sick.Im told about the pre made sandwiches.I dont want a pre made sandwich. Id have to open it and take everything off except the turkey and mayo, deal with the mess and try to re wrap it on my way to school.So Monday morning of this week I thought Id give the Deli a try. Nope, same excuse-someone called in sick.Ive gotten items from other areas of the Deli and had no problems.

Self checkout is great and faster than the cashier lines but doesnt allow you to self checkout alcohol. 🤷‍♂️Which is lame because there is a clerk there to assist with your process and could just as easily check your ID as the machine would stop you. Sometimes the prices can be a little high, but if you look at the just for u app, and use the deals wisely (with coupons), you can come out like a bandit. I use the fresh pass also because it gives discounts on the O organics brands which often times are better than the national brands. I like to use the rewards points to look up items that are free or to use for the discounts on my purchases. You can use them for the discount on gas at Chevron, but I have to wait for deals with a different app I use and I combine them together. Overall, Albertsons is really nice if youre looking for a specialty item because other stores tend to not have as many keto, gluten free, organic, vegan, etc. (My household has a little of everything... A vegan, a diabetic, a lactose intolerant, possible gluten sensitive... Its a bit of a hectic food medley... Haha.) Albertsons makes it easy.

Prices are high, but worth it if you have the app with all the Just 4U coupons. Produce is usually always fantastic. The bakery is decent, they often underachieve what is predicted. The shelves are always stocked, never have much trouble. Everything is great. One problem is the traffic. There is often lines in this store and everything is at a stand still.

Usually i have a a great experience, but I also only come in late nite and the staff is awesome on closing shift. but this time of day it was horrible. I had a lot of groceries in a hand basket wanted to carry in that to car to unload and return manager stereotyped me and claimed I would probably steal the basket (I was in a front row parking spot 20 feet from door so I would be in view whole time which I pointed out to him). How rude to accuse then when asked for help to car because I used self checkout he refused to assist or allow anyone to help me to my car with groceries... hmmm where has the good ol hometown kindness gone? Sorry but your incorrect sterotyping of me can stay right where it came from... and this horrible experience I refuse to not share it.Not everyone is a bad seed, nor a thief... kinda put off on going back here.Also, ordered Starbucks in -store... very disappointed... it took forever and wasnt that great. Usually, this place is one of the best Starbucks in north slo county, but not this visit... how sad.And staff working sbux allowed other Albertsons staff priority in receiving their drink way before me which she had ordered after me and also before two other customers ahead of me... and not only that, she loudly talked to barista the whole time she attempted to work, distracting her and slowing the process down even more than they already were moving... hmm isnt this against store policy? I would think so and if not it should be. Very unsatisfied and even more shocked at the failed customer service I recieved. Sorry but I tell it like it is.

Horrible place to shop.This store used to be a wonderful store before the labor union strike but ever since that strike ended ALL the employees appear to Hate their job. They could not care less about customer satisfaction. The prices at the store are higher than other grocery stores and you really need to watch out for the occasional item that will be outrageously priced up to 3X what competitors charge for the identical item. The quality of the meat in the butcher shop is mostly select which is good for soup or stew only. Go elsewhere and get choice or prime. The lines to checkout are always long and Ive never seen them add a cashier to speed things along. Bottom line is that They just dont care save the aggravation and shop at Trader Joes or Costco. If you want a real grocery store, go to San Luis Obispo and shop at Ralphs. What I wouldnt give for a Ralphs. They should bulldoze all the Albertsons and Vonns and they should start with the Albertsons on Niblick road. I will celebrate when they go bankrupt and all their employees are living in the riverbed.

I love their food and layout of the store but it has the oldest worse self check out registers I ever used. They constantly set off the wait for customer service rep or whatever it says because the machine is retarded and doesnt calibrate the weight on the receiving end of the bagging table. It makes me so mad that I literally want to drag it outside and ram the machine with my car!

This locale has always had the freshest produce in Paso, including many organic options.There is a very good meat and seafood counter, also deli and bakery. Albertsons is also where I shop for, and recommend to all,the best selection of local and imported wines. The professional clerks all seem to go that extra mile.

The customer service here is awful. I bag my own groceries and try to be as low maintenance as possible. No one thanks you for your business or tries to help you in any way. Be careful going to this store. Make. sure that you have everything you purchased because if you forgot something at the store youre not going to get it back. I bought some items this morning and few hours later realized I forgotten the beer Id bought on the counter. Called the store and they claim I left nothing on the counter. The store was nearly empty when we were there at 7am so I really cant believe that they didnt find an item that was left behind.

Went in this morning to buy just 2 items. Couldnt believe the lines and only 2 check stands open. Must have been 18+ people in each line standing there like little sheep (not counting self checkout). This is so typical of this store and one of the many reasons I have taken my shopping to Trader Joes the last few years. I dont go into this store hardly ever and on the rare occasion I do ... typical. I walked right on through the other door and took my business to CVS next door. We have been shopping at Albertsons for years and have always found it to be a great store but today was special. My husband and I were shopping with my granddaughter and she got lost. She got away from us and is only 3 years old. We were in a panic. I told the checker and she immediately put out a code and the employees started guarding the doors. We then found her clear across the store. It was incredibly scary. We were so impressed by how the store handled the emergency, they were on top of it. I called the store later and talked to a manager and told him how thankful I was for their help. He was very kind. I sure do appreciate this store!

My mom and I both worked with Shelby in the floral department when ordering arrangements for two separate events. Shelby was not only incredibly professional, but also responsive, creative, and kind. She built about 25 gorgeous small and large arrangements between the two events and did a wonderful job sticking to the aesthetic despite flower shortages. It is clear that Shelby knows her stuff, sources quality flowers, and puts time and effort into her craft. I would refer anyone to Shelby for their flower needs.

My place to shop. I love that they show what the Wednesday deal on Tuesday. Great fruits and vegetables. Always good sales on meat and dairy. Check out the monthly items for sale. Everyone was wearing a mask except for a few of old guys who pulled them off once they got inside the store. Noone was going to tell them what to do! 😆

Currently standing in line as the cashier slowly scans and bags each item then chats some more with the lady ahead of me. 3s a crowd is more like 8s a crowd.They are unfortunately the only game in town. We dont have an Albertsons in SAT. This grocery market has a huge selection of whatever you need. They have ready to eat lunch/supper meals, hot or cold. Super clean. Bring your own bags but for .10 you can buy one.

May I suggest when you post a sign about wearing 😷, that you take into account the shoppers whove already had the virus and now carry antibodies. A friend also has checked her antibodies twice now and after having had virus, her antibodies against it have increased from 197 to 400!.Additionally, could you ask the staff in meat dept to be more helpful and kind. Dont go to this Albertsons if your in a hurry. They have a good selection of product, but its constantly busy. The clerk was very unfriendly to us as well. He started ringing up another customer before we thought we were done, so we assumed we were done, as we had already used our card. As we turned to leave he told us not to go, we werent done. I mentioned he was ringing up another customer, and he said he wasnt, but my husband and I both saw it. Really rude. Then he handed us our receipt quickly and huffy. Will not come back to Albertsons again.

They have the best DELI section Ive ever been to in a grocery store. It seems like Im there every week. The only downside is that sometimes they have expired merchandise on the shelves. So I recommend checking before you buy. They are happy to reimburse you if you bring it back with a receipt.

This place has an AMAZING Deli, and a great variety of different foods, however, expect to wait 10-20 minutes to check out. There are on-average, 3 checkout lanes open, each with about 8 people in line. Unsure as to why such a high volume grocery store operates this way...

Edit: They remodeled the store! Not crazy about the layout of the produce section but they fixed the bottleneck at the front of the store! Doing so by reducing the size of the florist section and opening up the alcohol isles to include a wine tasting area. (wish they had kept this next to starbucks but the area is wider than before so its a win) bumping up star rating by one. (end of edit)Overall the store is will lit, generally well stocked (both with regular and high end food options), and staffed with very nice and helpful employees.However, the lay out tries to cram too many things into the space. For instance, I think it might be possible that a full service florist and a Starbucks with patio seating might be more than needed inside. (maybe Im wrong but I value the space) Also there never seems to be enough check out lanes open and there are only a few self check-out machines. These drawbacks combine to create a store thats hard to navigate with a shopping cart due to traffic bottlenecks and a slow, crowded checkout experience.I do find myself liking this store the most when its slow. Best bet would be to avoid weekends and try to get there early when you go.

The Starbucks inside Albertsons is the BEST! They are so friendly and greet you with a smile even though they are understaffed with a line. They are definitely worth the wait!! Am thankful they are open during this trying time. Shelves were well stocked. But...it seemed like there were too many people in the store for the Covid 19 regulations. The line to check out were extremely long and a bit frustrating. Some employees were not wearing masks or gloves. I hope people arent getting too comfortable with the opening of the businesses more. There is still a threat of infection of CV19! Be careful out there!

I love the customer service at Albertsons. The people are so sweet and caring, but I just wish they would keep things in stock.For instance, the 12 pack Yellow Red Bulls. Everytime I come in, the shelf is filled with with either the sugar free kind or the combo pack. They were on sale too for $5 off this week, but I was told they werent sure when they would be coming in and that they dont give out Rain Checks anymore, Im missing the sale.And the Hersheys Twisted Reeses Pudding are hardly ever in stock either. When I asked the manager, she said she didnt know and they werent sending them to her. This is the closest full size grocery store to my house (20 miles) so I shop here a couple times a month. The rest of the time I shop here in town at the Cookie Crock. Albertsons has a larger selection but I still dont find everything I need. The prices are OK but not exceptional. I buy most of my produce here in town as the prices are better. I dont recommend shopping at this location. There is no hand sanitizer; they dont provide masks for people not wearing them, the carts dont get cleaned between uses, and no wipes are offered to customers to protect their health. They dont require masks, and MASKS ARE REQUIRED! There were more than a dozen people in the store without masks. It is a breach of others rights to risk their neighbors and the communitys health and family. COVID-19 kills people, and it is incredibly irresponsible to put lives at risk.

I just got done with a 20 minute wait in the express lane with my dad to buy a SINGLE bottle of wine. I went in with him to keep him company on line. Keep in mind this is EXPRESS LANE. The woman whos name is Meta( and we have had issues with her before in the past, mostly with slowness and some attitude/comments/rude remarks). We wait in line for 20 minutes, the woman running check out is chit chatting, talking to other workers the whole time. She was going so slow I could feel the other costumers in line were feeling upset as well. The man behind us expressed his disconcern to us as we waited. Once we finally made it to the front of the line, Meta looks at me and asks Do you have your ID? in a very rude and assuming tone as well as having a smug look om her face. It was our turn this month for our book club meeting to bring snacks. This Albertson is better stocked than most Albertsons on the coast. Sometimes it feels like walking into Costco. The prices are very competitor with a Food 4 Less and Grocery Outlet. Sometimes the checkout line can get really long due to Covid policies, worse case thus far was a 25-30 minute wait to get to a register. The one thing Im confused about with CA COVID is the recommendation of face masks. It says mandate on the door, but people are taking them more as recommendations. We saw a number of individuals withOUT masks on in Albertsons. After being in WA for the time of COVID, its kind of...strange to see people without masks. Its rebellious neglect...and thats unfortunate.Otherwise, this Albertsons is well stocked during the day. Later in the evening, its bare bones...which is understandable but still an annoyance.
