I’m a first time buyer (gift for my retired federal agent father) of Aker Leather and I (we) were extremely happy with the quality of the holster (Nightguard Open Top) and mag carrier (Carry Comp 2). Finding leather holsters that accommodate a semi auto with a red dot and mounted pistol light can be difficult but they had a great selection. Shipping was fast and when my father decided he wanted to exchange the mag carrier for a different one they made themselves available at every step in the process! Great products, fast shipping, competitive prices and some of the best customer service I’ve worked with! I will definitely be buying from them in the future and I highly recommend them! Nothing left to say!

I have used Aker belts and holsters for nearly 30 years. With a little care the belts work and look as good today as they did many years ago. After retirement from law enforcement I use the brown one nearly every day reserving the black one for the rare occasions where I wear a suit. The belts are the best out there.Why a review now? I misplaced my black dress belt and bought a new one (only to old faithful a few days later!). The new belt is just as good as the older one and maybe an 1/8 inch wider. My only slight criticism is that Aker only has brown and black options. Back in the day I often wore Ox Blood shoes and wanted a similarly colored belt. Asked and it was never offered. (Maybe I was a fashionista?)In any event, these things are well made and will, literally, last longer than you do.Be safe out there.

I bought the B21 concealed carry belt and the product itself appears to be made of excellent quality and smells of beautiful leather. I have yet to take it on the trail with my .357 but wearing it in the house, the belt doesnt sag under the weight of my revolver. Customer service was extremely helpful in getting the belt to me after changing the shipping address after ordering. Would not hesitate to buy from Aker againAfter using the belt on several long hikes, I feel like the belt was an excellent investment and held my heavy 357 in place. Love it

A fantastic shoulder holster and even better customer service! I bought a shoulder holster from Aker last year, and only used it a few times fishing. Great fit, but somehow, one of the mag snaps kept coming loose and dropping a mag. I reached out to Aker, who promptly shipped me a new mag pouch, even though I was well past the year warranty. Outstanding holster, and great customer service!

Can’t say enough about the Aker customer service. Especially Jake. A holster that I ordered wouldn’t work on my Sig P320 due to the extra high front sight used when there is a Romeo Red Dot sight used. They sent me a shipping label to return the holster and then went about figuring out exactly what would work. Once they figured out what would work they manufactured it and sent it to me. It fit perfect, the quality is outstanding, and I couldn’t be more pleased. I also have a Aker holster for one of my 1911’s which is also a great holster. No doubt there will be more Aker products in my safe in the future.

My husband and I have purchased many products over the years and have always been pleased with Aker products.Recently, we ordered another carry concealed belt. We received it today and upon opening it we noticed it was the wrong belt. The enclosed invoice was for someone in Tennessee.I packed up the belt and took it to the warehouse in Chula Vista. knowing they are closed to the public I thought I’d take a chance that someone would be there to help.Fortunately, there was a nice gentleman that helped me and gave me the correct belt. We love Aker, these guys were super helpful and the customer service is bar none. Jake helped us with finding / replacing a holster. We had some issues and he was quick to help us (more than a few times) and offer a replacement. He even checked in a few days later to make sure that product was working out for us. I want to take this opportunity to tell all of you, that Aker Leather Products are all extremely high grade and high quality items! I use several of their products for both duty gear, as well as off duty/carry! I have used Aker Leather Products for several years now and I have also told several of my coworkers and friends about them. Now they use Aker as well.Most recently, I made an order for a holster and regular pants belt. I made the order on line as always, then was waiting for the email stating, Youre order is being processed and we will notify you of the order shipment to you. Instead of receiving that email, I received a follow-up email asking how I liked the new Aker Products I had ordered. I then checked with my mailbox provider several times and they told me they havent received any package from Aker Leather Products for me.I then called Aker Customer Service and was very fortunate to speak with Jake Wade. I explained the situation to him and he immediately found the problem with my order. My order had somehow had not even been processed for manufacturing yet. Jake then sent out emails to his supervisor, as well as the manufacturing department. He had my order expedited for manufacturing, as well as shipping to me.Earlier today (07-APR), Jake called me to advise me that my order was not only made, but shipped out to me and to look for it right away! Bought the FlatSider Paddle. It did take several weeks to get to me, however what I received is top quality and probably the most comfortable paddle holster I’ve ever worn. It looks great and I’ve referred several inquiries to Aker. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to buying again.

Lets just say I am very pleased with my first experience with this company. I bought a holster from these guys and it came to my attention that it was out of stock. I needed it within a week and so I got a hold of customer service. The guy there, Jake, was super courteous and on top of his game. Found me an alternative holster (which I am very happy with, its slick and fits my Glock 21 like a glove!) that they had on hand and got it shipped out the same day. Got it in the mail about 3-4 days later. At the same price of the holster I originally purchased, a nice discount!

I have been a user of Aker products for many years; holsters, belts, ammo, and cuff cases. I have been a plain clothes officer for over 30 years and like the professional appearance of their real leather products. As most officers I have a collection of holsters as firearms change, but in all those years have never had an item fail or a snap break. My current holster is over 6 years old and still in great condition. I have had to re-die worn places on the holster, but it still fits perfectly and the snap has not failed. The Aker 201 Comfort Flex shoulder rig was worth waiting for. It took almost a month for it to get manufactured and delivered to me. It exceeded all my expectations.The weapon fit well in the holster, and the rig is very comfortable for all day use. Craftsmanship, communications, and service in dealing with Akers is superb. I had a small problem with one of Akers belts, I sent in some pictures to a young man named Jake, he rectified the issue, this was done in the course of 24 hours. I am retired Law Enforcement, so as far as leather products, and fast and friendly service I recommend all their products, not just to law enforcement, but to civilians also. They make excellent products, and they stand behind them .Jake was a miracle worker, it is also a very customer friendly company pleasant to talk to, and no bums rush to get you off the phone. Hey, I purchased a shoulder holster for my older S&W mod 19 snubby a couple of months ago. I didnt provide a comment because I wanted to wear it for a while first. Well now I do, because I have to tell you this thing is amazing!First, I had questions which were answered very quickly and were spot on. Then you folks actually apologized for taking the time to hand make the unit (through no fault of your own) I mean heck, its practically a custom holster now! And as for comfort...I dont even know where to start. I was afraid that with the revolver on my draw side & just the speed loaders on the other side it would need the anchor to a belt so I ordered it. Well, its NOT needed thats how well made this rig is! (btw, Im keeping the anchor unit, just because)Anyway, you folks deserve 5 stars in my book! Just thought you should know. The Comfort Flex 101 has been my primary holster for over 20 years for work. It provides great concealability in business attire and is extremely comfortable and durable. Ive talked on the phone to Jake at Aker and he is very pleasant to deal with. Had a few questions and he cleared them up. I ordered a flatsider XR7 for my two XDs. It showed up and is just as pretty in person as it is online. It also matches my brown CCW belt from Aker very well. Speaking of belts, if you conceal carry, youve gotta try Aker belts. The one I am wearing right now I have worn daily since 2015. Its held up wonderfully and has a very nice, broken in look. For fancier affairs, I bought the same belt in both tan and black, and those are my dress belts. Overall, Im very pleased with Aker. They are a company based out of California, they answer the phone when you call and are responsive to questions, and its great to know that my money is going to 2nd ammendment supporters who live in the same state as I do. Lord knows the firearms community could use a couple more friends in California. Aker gets an A+ from me.

I have been looking for a concealed holster for my Glock 19 equipped with a Viridian C5 laser/light combo, and the only custom holster I could find was a neoprene job. I really prefer leather holsters since they are much more comfortable for everyday carry. The quality of this holster is first class and the price was very reasonable. Since I order mine shortly before Christmas, it probably took longer than usual to receive, but well worth the wait. And, due to the wait, they even reduced the purchase price. I own numerous handguns and even more holsters, and this one is as good or better than most. I only wish they offered it without the thumb break.

Great product. Im a very small person. 55 130 LBS. I have trouble concealing just about anything but this works well with a sport jacket, although I like fitted clothes so I cant button any Jacket the bulge is too obvious, but.. cant blame Aker for that. I dont think any other shoulder holster would even be remotely concealable on someone my size so Im very happy with it.. Plus, of all the conceal options Ive tried this is the quickest draw. Also.. Super comfortable.

The order was processed and product shipped in a timely manner. The holster I received from Aker appears to be of high quality. However, it is an EXTREMELY tight fit on my Smith & Wesson 329PD .44 Magnum revolver. The holster is intended for Smith & Wesson N-Frame revolvers, which the 329PD is, but it is very difficult to get my revolver out of the holster once the gun is holstered in place. I expect this extremely tight fit may possibly relax with time. However, the much more significant problem is that the thumb strap is way, way too short to actually wrap around the hammer of the revolver and snap together. The thumb strap is approximately 1-inch too short. It is not even close to being able to snap together with the revolver holstered. I am making efforts to try to stretch the thumb strap, but, given the high quality of the leather that the holster is constructed from, I am not certain I will be able to stretch the thumb strap enough to make it work.

I bought a cheap duty belt years ago that was falling apart. Needed a sturdy duty belt urgently, I ordered the velcro lined duty belt (B02V) but the size I needed was out of stock. I contacted the office and spoke with Jake. He came through and helped me out tremendously bumping up the lead time for my order and I had it in my hands a few days later. While I was in the office picking up my order, I also needed to upgrade my handcuff cases. Jake was able to check the inventory and I placed my order right then and there, walked out with exactly what I needed in time for work. Thanks again Jake and Aker for pulling through for me! I now have three of these magazine carriers, and they are well-designed, well-made, and made of very robust materials. I cant think of a single thing I would change.Even the belt loops are smart. They have inch-wide straps, two of them, on the reverse of each carrier, making it possible to mount them in the conventional belt mount fashion, or, on any MOLLE-compatible gear.I find this mag carrier very thoughtfully designed and very generously constructed. Im very satisfied, and the price is reasonable as well.(And I promise Im not just a shill. I really did form this impression of the mag carriers. I was kind of amazed.)

I have several Aker holsters, my favorite being the White Lightening belt slide. I have one for my G17/26 and another for my G43. They are used daily and not only are the comforting but also comfortable. I carry from the moment I put my pants on until they come off. I have one Aker holsterThat is 20? years old. I had another review on here which I am writing this to warn consumers about. I bought a holster on Amazon with the name Akar thinking it was Aker. The picture was of a good holster and I thought I was getting a deal. When I got the holster it was a piece of crap and not up to the AKER standard. I called and although it took a bit to get in touch with someone, Ken was understanding. The true Aker holsters are top notch and I know several military members that rave about them. I am in the process of ordering one myself and will follow up in the future. Right now I can only tell what I have heard and speak to the companys customer service which was outstanding with MY mistake.

I bought two of Acker leather off duty belts for ccw . Good looks and functionality. The belt is so reinforced yet comfortable ; and it easily handles my S&W N frame 629 3in. Incredible! You could pay $40.00 or more for a dept. store belt but, why would you. This belt is again comfortable, good looks and even gives back support.Recent order the website malfunction. Generally quite good. Glock 23 very tight fit when holster arrived. Literally five hundred-plus insertions to loosen, and several over-nights with pistol wrapped in plastic bag in holster. Still tight, but since Im not into fast-draw competition, the draw is acceptable. Also a very comfortable fit, and much more concealable than any IWB Ive used, need for cover garment notwithstanding. Would appreciate two improvements in design: (1)Would be good to have the option of belt tie downs, especially on the pistol side, and (2) as a left hander, I would like to see the mag pouches angles reversed, allowing a single, smooth drop into hand, ready to insert into pistol without having to spin the mag first.But, again, overall a good and relatively timely service and would probably rate it at 4 ½. As I heard many times in my forty years as a union carpenter, Close enough for Government Work.

This holster was made for a S&W mod 586. which is a L frame not a K. Holster was advertised as fitting but I dont think the manufactures took into consideration the barrel lug. Tight fit is fine since leather has to form to the gun. I put gun in plastic bag and inserted gun. Thumb break hammer strap was too long. After unsnapping the long amount of leather did not allow the gun to be drawn. I had to take a knife and trim down almost quarter inch of leather beyond the snap otherwise the strap would not free itself from the hammer. Right now not too thrilled with this holster.

I placed an order after talking with the folks at Aker to make sure the duty gear items would arrive by a certain date. Something happened with the carrier causing a delay to the scheduled delivery. I made Aker aware of this and they didnt even ask questions. They just immediately sent new items via next day air to make sure they arrived by the date that I needed them. Now THAT is how you earn yourself some customer referrals and a solid review on Google.

I recently purchased a Badge Holder, 690 I think, from Amazon. It was broken and could not be used. It was in an AKER package and being forgetful as I am thats where I though it came from. Aker is my favorite mag carrier because it can be adjusted easily for competition versus every day carry. Also, the carrier can be lifted higher on your belt when you are ready to step to the line to shoot a stage in IDPA matches. Wonderful stuff for the past 20 years for me.

While the shoulder rig and the snubby revolver holster is GREAT, the accompanying speedloader pouch is WAY to LARGE for the 5 round speedloaders. They will actually hold 6 round speedloaders loosely. The problem with this is that a small frame person (who will be using this concealment rig) will have an obvious bulge on the speedloader side (forcing your arm and elbow away form your body. I got the 1 1/2 Fancy Stitch belt to replace an old worn out belt after 40 years. This belt is my every day CCW belt. It is plenty strong enough to carry what I want. The quality and workmanship is excellent. I wouldnt hesitate to get another Aker product, I dont think it will be this belt though, it will probably outlast me.
