We had a great experience taking the AP Lang course with Sven Engvall. His class is structured and organized, the explanations are clear and easily understood by the student, and his constructive criticisms help the student learn. When the student receives praises, they know they are genuine because the feedback is always honest and direct with the intentions of helping them grow.

Dipti was an amazing tutor for the ACT! She helped me improve my scores significantly and made me feel more confident to take the test. During our sessions, she was extremely helpful in going over parts of the test I got wrong or didnt understand, and we worked through them together. I definitely recommend Dipti and AJ Tutoring!

AJ tutoring in Los Altos has been great. My son worked with Melvin for trig, and really enjoyed working with him. Melvin’s expertise and ability to meet students where they are really helped to make the sessions engaging and valuable for my son. I’m hoping we can work with him again next year if needed. We highly recommend him!

We had a good experience having our sons learn study skills with Brianna. She was easy to communicate with, responsive to suggestions, and worked with us well. The location right across from Graham Middle School is very convenient. Based on our experience this school year, we would use AJ Tutoring again.

Brianna helped my Son with his HSPT exam and interview skills for his High School applications. We had a great experience with AJ Tutoring, and Brianna was exceptional at making my son feel comfortable and heard. Brianna was really engaged, supportive, and a great communicator. She sent great email summaries highlighting progress and areas of improvement and provided helpful materials. My sons confidence and skill consistently improved and we are very grateful to Brianna and AJ tutoring for all the help.

We had a very positive experience with Dom. Dom personality helps students engage in a very positive way with Dom and enhances their experience with tests. Dom also provided me with tests that I could give to my son to prepare for the SAT. He also helped me through how to grade the test at home. Dom provided consistent feedback throughout the process which helped us know our sons progress. I would recommend Dom to any student who wishes to excel on the SAT or ACT.

My daughter was able to finish her Junior year successfully thanks to AJ Tutoring. She got help from Kevin for both of her AP Calc, and AP Physics. Struggled from the day, but finished her school year with good AP score and GPA. Kevin is very knowledgeable, teaches how to approach problems and solve, flexible, and caring. I highly recommend AJ Tutoring and Kevin.

We started my 10th grader here for Chemistry with Joseph Lei. The change in my daughters attitude and confidence towards the subject was noticeable after just the 2nd class there. The method of instruction is custom and not a one size fits all approach. I had such a positive experience that I have taken the call to continue with AJ Tutoring to college / SAT prep as well

Dipti has helped me so much with Honors Precalculus this year. She has helped me improve my test scores significantly while ensuring that I fully understand and grasp all of the concepts. She has effective studying techniques for assessments that have really helped me on finals. I could not recommend her enough and I am looking forward to working with her on BC Calculus this summer and next year.

Dipti has been amazing in helping me prepare for both the SAT and ACT! She was able to teach me tricks and time management strategies to succeed on the exam. After I took the SAT, she was able to help me thoroughly study for the ACT despite the short amount of time that I had, which I greatly appreciated!

We fully recommend Melvin Delgado at AJ Tutoring for high school math tutoring. Melvin helped our son starting with Geometry and now Algebra 2/Trig. Our son has tried a number of math tutors (too many) and he chose Melvin. Hes now worked with Melvin for 1.5 years. Melvin always has our sons best interest at heart and we truly appreciate him.

AJ Tutoring has helped me so much with time management, feeling less overwhelmed and more prepared for my ACT coming up in February! My tutor Lilleana Torio, has been amazing! She is kind, organized, and understanding and she has helped me feel so much better about standardized testing. I worked with Dipti for the SAT Physics subject test, and shes a great tutor. Her communication was always clear, and her explanations of the concepts were understandable and helpful. I had very little physics knowledge in the beginning, so I think that Dipti did a good job of helping me build my knowledge from the ground up and teaching for understanding before teaching for the test. I would 100% go back for any of my tutoring needs!

I worked with Dipti Dedhia to prep for the GRE. The workbooks provided by AJ tutoring were a great comprehensive review of all of the topics that came up in the GRE, and Dipti did a great job guiding me through these packets as well as the test prep material provided by the GRE. Once we identified the areas where I was weakest, we were able to shift the focus of our sessions to finding and developing strategies that allowed me to succeed in those areas while still spending some time reviewing the material I was confident in to ensure I had a solid understanding of all of the topics that would appear on the test. When reviewing questions, she always made sure that I understood why each answer was correct and made sure I had a solid understanding of the processes and strategies I would need in order to correctly answer questions in the future. I would highly recommend anyone AJ and Dipti to anyone looking to prepare for the GRE.

I took a class with Amanda Calzada- she is an incredible teacher- very intelligent and kind. she always made sure everyone is computable and I always felt very confident that even if Im wrong I will be encouraged to keep trying in a safe environment.
