We had our very old furnace and AC unit replaced this week with a 2 stage heat pump and mini split heat pump. Just in time for the next heat wave. AIS Heating and Air Conditioning (Livermore) did the work. In a word, they were outstanding. Sales consultant Art was thorough, knowledgeable and worked with me to come up with the best system design for our needs. Installation crew Alex, Abel and Fausto were on time, meticulous and very capable. I don’t usually bother to make these kinds of recommendations but these guys deserve it for the pain free experience we had.

Rafael was fabricator extraordinaire. They did a wall heater replacement. Problem in venting access came up and he meticulously solved and completed the install perfectly. In and out in 4.5 hours. Carted off all the debris, cleaned the room and like a Ninja, disappeared into the weekend. Good job fellows.

This is the second complete system (including new vent pipes) I have purchased from AIS. They did such a good job at my dads home 3 years ago, I decided to use them for my new Heat/AC Pump system. Raphael, Gustavo and Fabian were on time, worked hard and cleaned up very well. Michael came by 3 days later to check everything and answer my questions. There was a small problem, but it was handled quickly and easily by AIS, no questions or pushback. That is the sign of a well-run company. They have coordinated the testing so I can get a rebate from the state. I highly recommend the team at AIS.

I just had the Bryant 4 ton Heat Pump and air handler installed by Leon and Gustavo yesterday. The system is working well last night and fine so far. Leon and Gustavo worked very diligently all day yesterday. They were very courteous, respectful and answered all my questions, and did not leave till the system works to my satisfaction. The whole process from sales presentation by Art and scheduling by Genell to installation was smooth and easy.

Our heating and air conditioning installers Rafael, Jason, Fausto and Taylor did an excellent job removing our old system and installing a new state of the art system. Due to the system being located in the attic there were challenges but they worked hard and overcame them. They were very clean and respectful of our home.

Just got a heat pump installed by AIS!We had someone come and give a quote, which took about 2 hours to go over our house and our needs.We had old ductwork that needed redoing that was making only half of the house get air conditioning.We had previously gotten an energy efficiency audit from Energineers that recommended redoing the ducts and upgrading our old furnace and A/C to a heat pump.AIS was the second business we got a quote from and were slightly more affordable (for a large expense like HVAC, its good to get multiple quotes!).The system we had installed is a Bryant, which is related to Carrier.The install crew was professional and left minimal mess behind.Now our house is evenly heated!

My neighbor recommended AIS after her furnace installation, and I am very happy with my recent furnace installation experience. Initial assessment/visit was thorough (shout out to Mauricio) and provided me with the right information I needed to make my install decision. Install visit was professional, curteous, and was much more efficient/timely than I thought it would be given the age of the unit. They replaced a 20+ year Lennox with a Bryant Legacy Single Stage Furnace which was perfect for my households needs. They helped reconfigure the foundation for the new unit, optimized the thermostat location, and I love the more user-friendly access filter compartment (Thank you Wilson & Juan!). Post Inspection visit was also very wonderful with a friendly, curteous, and informative inspector who ensured the unit was at its best with some follow up enhancements. Overall I had a really great experience for the value and will definitely recommend AIS to my family/friends.

We got our AC installed and the furnace replaced with them in 2022. AIS folks were knowledgeable, provided great advice, and efficient with their time. We had a small permit issue with the AC being visible from the front of the house, and AIS was quick in getting the problem fixed so we can get the permit closed out. I also got the free 1-year checkup of the two units today with Michael H. He did a test run of the systems and checked the gas and electrical connections as well as our duct work with our new return. He was very helpful with providing tips for maintenance of the system.

AIS Heating & AC is the best by far. Gabe came for our regular furnace service and he is great to work with! Spends the time, answers all questions, he even found and helped us with a gas leak on our tankless water heater when he smelled a faint gas smell in the garage! Gabe is literally a life-saver:) Highest of recommendations.

This review is overdue. We had our full HVAC replaced this last spring and decided to go with AIS after speaking with three different companies. AIS wasnt the cheapest quote but they were the fastest, most thorough and hands down the most responsive -- add to that, I appreciated the fact that its a local business. It was 100% the right choice. Art was wonderful to work with when it came to pulling together the right system for our family needs -we have a two story house with serious temperature control issues, Art set us up with an outstanding heat pump that has been an absolute game changer, and Taylor and team were fast, friendly and professional when it came to installation. We recently had a minor issue that I called the office for and Taylor was out in less than 24 hours without a charge and quickly addressed the issue. We have been so incredibly happy with our new system and the quality of service we experienced working with AIS. I really couldnt recommend them enough for quality of both their work and customer service.

I have preventive maintenance with AIS. They come twice a year. Once for AC and again for Heating. When the come for A/C I also have them maintain my tankless water heater.Today was for heating/furnace. Gabe was very professional, courteous, experienced, and informative. He asked the right questions and gave me useful information. They are way above and beyond Moore Mechanical, whom I used for years before changing to AIS. I am very confident and comfortable with AIS. AIS will not tell you parts are bad, faulty and sell you parts you dont need. They wont experiment on your HVAC system or tankless water heater as my previous HVAC company did.

AIS installed central HVAC in our 1950s house which had no previous ducting, just an ancient gravity furnace. They were able to reuse the gravity furnace vent, communication and install were seamless and timely, and the install crew really went the extra mile (added a crawlspace light and outlet while they were down there!). The pricing was fairly reasonable, after getting a few other quotes and doing some research, and the customer experience was great. Id recommend them.

AIS installed a heat pump at my house, replacing an old gas furnace. The new system is great and all, but AIS did fast and clean work to install it and came back multiple times to insure everything was operating smoothly. Every employee I interacted with was knowledgeable, professional and just nice people. Highly recommend AIS.

I will use this company again. First initial response we had an emergency heater at the time was not working while it was cold they were out with in a few hours, was able to fix temporary until part was ordered. We were able to use through Winter. Had them come out during the summer put in new part.

Art walked through the entire house and gave me tons of advice and suggestions on all of my systems. Was very relieved to hear my furnace and water heater still had many more years left, and there was no up selling at all, just good advice. They were definitely not the cheapest but was willing to work with my budget, and Im willing to pay a bit more for a 10 year labor warranty and the level of customer service Art provided. The tech Michael arrived within the promised time frame and performed the free annual checkout for our furnace and AC units. Our units were installed by AIS last year, everything seemed to be working fine until Michael arrived and noticed the furnace filter was installed in the wrong orientation. We were glad Michael noticed it and corrected it for us but were annoyed by the fact the filter was installed incorrectly by the first crew. That explained why we were sneezy in the morning when the furnace started in the morning.
