My mom went from being able to live on her own to needing memory care in a very short period of time. We would have been lost had it not been for Aegis. Beautiful facility with caring staff. Your family member will be part of a vibrant, active community with activities both in the facility and out in the community. I cant think of a place I would rather have my mom. I can only hope to be in as nice a situation when its my turn to need assisted living.

I am an Independent Senior Living Sales Specialist/Consultant specializing in Assisted Living and Memory Care and was hired to cover the Marketing Department at Aegis Living of Carmichael for two plus weeks while the full time Marketing Director took a much deserved vacation. I lived at the community for the duration and am so impressed with the way ALL of the staff know their job responsibilities and do them with expertise, love and kindness. Every member of the team gives more than 100% effort and commitment with care and compassion, it is obvious they love what they do. Not only do the residents have smiles on their faces, which of course is very important, but so do the team members!I ate nearly all of my meals at the community and they were fresh and delicious. There are many activities available to residents from morning until after dinner when a movie is playing every evening.Many outings are planned each week, residents were venturing out to museums and restaurants and so much more and every Sunday, the Asst. Activity Director provides transportation for residents to attend church too. There is also a designated driver during the week to take residents to doctors appts. Additionally, both housekeeping and maintenance are very attentive to requests for any additional services.It was an absolute pleasure to work with this very tenured team of professionals, many staff members have worked at this community for 10, 15 and up to 20 years....that is a wonderful sign that the community is well managed and the team is happy and appreciated for all they do. Happy staff equates to happy residents! I HIGHLY recommend Aegis Living of Carmichael for yourself or your loved one!

Kelly is amazing to work with and incredible and always quick to respond to a call, text or email. The residents are in good spirits and very well taken care of.

Frank Starkey: This is a comfortable place to live. I don’t fear what’s coming my way, especially at night when I get scared, I know I am in a safe place. It’s been pretty well done to where I know I’m in a safe place. Plenty of activities to do here, I think they are paramount. If I was at home, I would just be sitting watching tv, this place gives me plenty to do.

I cant say enough good things about Aegis of Carmichael. The staff truly has treated my family and our loved one residing there as Family. It is not an easy thing to have to put a family member into Memory Care, however the staff at Aegis took us through the process with the greatest care, consideration and support that I could have ever imagined. They go above and beyond to make sure that our loved one receives the best care possible. My heartfelt thanks go out to all the staff at Aegis of Carmichael.

We moved our Mom from a much larger facility because we felt she was not getting the care she needed. She lived at Aegis for three years and we could not have been happier. All of the staff are the most caring individuals and showed her and us so much love. They were always there for us and Mom. All the aides were excellent but Myra was an exception. She truly cared for Mom and it showed. Thank you Leyla, Steffanie, Melissa, Michelle, Myra, Debbie and all the rest for taking such good care of our Mom.We highly recommend Aegis to anyone looking for a safe loving home for a family member.

The lovely physical plant is matched by caring lovely folks. I moved my mother from Florida to Aegis because of mild cognitive impairment preventing her from living alone. The staff never fail to respond to my questions and have gone out of their way to help my mother adjust to a different culture and environment. They even helped us get an electric Menorah so we could celebrate Chanukah (without starting a fire!). She was delighted and so was I.

We searched several facilities to find the best one to meet my parents needs and desires. Aegis Living of Carmichael is a perfect fit for my parents. The staff are very caring and attentive to my parents needs.
