Ill say I had a less than perfect experience. I called in to ask a question about the belt and got a smart answer from one of the customer support personnel. So I had to figure out the problem since they acted like I was disturbing them. The instructions had some of the print missing and did not explain how to adjust the belt properly.It is important that the instructions are legible. With words missing from the sides I could not understand exactly what to do. Im a secretary. With that being said, this is a medical procedure and instructions need to be clear and copies need to be legible. Please make it happen so patients can be helped to the excellent standard that I believe you require.Lastly, this is only feedback to make things better. Workers are only as good as their supervisor.Thank you for caring about my experience

This company needs to have 24 hour customer service for its self administered sleep test devices because I live in Los Angeles, but had difficulty with one of the red light sensors that would not go off. I followed all the instructions repeatedly and it still would not go off, but it was after business hours in the Midwest, so I could not receive any kind of telephone assistance and therefore part of my test was unfortunately inaccurate. if these products are used across the US, I think it would be in their and product users interest to at least have one or two 24 hour tech-support people available because these sleep test are always used at night after customary business hours.

Watched video several times so we were ready. Test Appliance came when expected.As promised it was already put together. At first couldn’t get all green lights. With some jiggling all was green and husband tucked in for the night. Red light came on when he got up during the night for visit the bathroom but turned green when he was resettled.In morning When test was done and removed it took 5 + minutes for test complete green light to come on.Mailed it back.Only complaint is that now that we know he has moderate sleep apnea no one has told us what happens next.

Advanced Sleep Medicine Services has made the testing of my sleep seemless and easy. The process started with great communication to my questions I sent by email. The packet arrived at my home on the date they mentioned, and all materials with the test kit where very easy to follow. Definitely recommend them!

The MEDICAL staffThat helped my husband- was polite and very professional. One side was very difficult to connect and to stay connected. I think the product is not made very well. The tape they give you really stuck to my skin and was hard to rip off. The whole thing came undone during the night several times. The connections should have held on better.

System was fairly easy to setup and put on. The issue was sleeping with it. If you did not maintain a still position it would give a red flashing signal. That meant you had to move tubing to get flashing light off so it recorders the required information. I think this is much better that sleeping in a controlled environment with people watching . But my sleep behavior was not 100% what it normally is.

The customer service was horrible, I just got my test study done September 12th and they had my referral since July. I called twice and was told they didn’t have it and I needed to track it down. Than I was told they actually did have it since July and needed my dr to submit more information. So on my third call, I was then told by billing(ironically the only department that will answer) to “stop calling and let them do their jobs” (she raised her voice for this statement) and it’s on my dr for not getting them what they need. But they had what they needed sent over twice. Worst place I have worked with. As far as the test itself, it was very simple and straightforward, easy to use and easy to return. Will be using another company for my husbands testing.

The test unit which arrived did have some problems as for the first two nights I couldnt get the machine to have all green lights. Customer service was very helpful and on the third night I was able to get enough data recorded to make a diagnosis.

The staff were professional and friendly and helped my daughter stay calm and explained everything in a kid-friendly way for her to understand the process. Everything was quick and well-managed and went as perfectly as possible! I really appreciate the care the tech took to be friendly and make sure our needs were met. I can’t remember his name, but he was truly amazing. My daughter is still talking about how nice he was. (He had tattoos on his arms and I think had a 3 letter name. He told me when I was filling out paperwork and it just didn’t stick in my brain.) The facility was very clean and well-kept. I was literally blown away by how well it went. Thanks so much!!

Cool dark place. Staff was nice. The beds were decent, but not super soft. They are a bit thinner then I like. But I am sure if I asked them to add more bedding, they would of obliged. It is hard getting used to being strapped up with wires around you and straps around the chest were constricting a bit. I also had to call to get code for the door. No one text me or gave me one prior? Overall it was Clean and I felt safe and sound.

My Inspire has been installed now for maybe four months. At first it went well establishing my baseline of 1.6. However, now, at that baseline, which is the effective thresh-hold for me, It has the effect of a constant repetition of activation at the baseline setting, resulting in rapid-fire lower jaw musculature rigidity and stiffening of the tongue, which said process occurring over and over prevents me from sleeping and i have to turn it off, which gives me a poor apnea-prone sleep and a tired day. I hope to eliminate this interruption possible by sleeping position change and at least a slight reduction in baseline. Wish me luck.

I am very thankful to the very helpful gentleman that was working the evening I had my appointment. I forgot his name and I feel bad about it but he was very helpful with any questions I had and accommodating. My previous experience at another sleep center left me putting off my appointment here for some time but now I wish I had done it sooner. The beds are very comfortable and I was so excited when I saw they had adjustable beds too! I have one at home so it was almost like being at home except with a bunch of wires attached. The rooms were also nice, I would suggest everyone to go here if you need a sleep study.

I arrived at 8:30 pm Ms Valentina greeted me with a smile and brought me in their suite, she introduced me with Angela. Admission was very easy, I let them know I had submitted everything online, they both checked and found it.Angela was my technician, she is fabulous, caring, professional, friendly, helpful. She explained everything step by step, I felt safe and comfortable making me feel at home. Valentina and Angela truly demonstrates sincere teamwork experience. Both ladies were very kind. I was reluctant but they made me feel safe, comfortable and feeling right at home . The room where I spent the night very clean, comfortable and accommodations better than a five star hotel. Both Angela and Valentina are big assets and are awesome contributors of exceeding expectations, it is truly a blessing been cared by wonderful people who treated me like family

Amazing staff, very clean & there is parking available. We waited 5 min to get a room & around 10 to have someone put all the cables on my son for his sleep test. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who helped us out but he was very patient with my son & worked around him to make him feel comfortable. He also explained step by step & made sure my son understood everything that was going on. He made sure that we were okay and that we were both comfortable. Bring your own snacks & water as they don’t have any available, also a sweater as it gets very cold at night. Overall Amazing experience!

Not very convenient to put those tube in your nose and clip in your finger and go to sleep. Also, I had questions, when I called them, it was impossible to talk to a human, I email them, then someone called me back, not a good customer service.Okay, I have to add more in my review, about 6 weeks after I completed my sleep apna test, I called my doctor to find out the results, they told me that they never received a results from them, go figure .

I’ve seen several reviews that were not very encouraging, so I was a little apprehensive about my sleep study. However, my experience turned out to be very good... so far. My referral came through quickly and my appointment was scheduled within two weeks. I was given several choices for a day that would fit my schedule. I was contacted several times just prior to my appointment to make sure all of my questions were answered and was given detailed information of what to expect. My tech was very friendly and sensitive to my needs and the apprehension I expressed. The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable and once I was all connected and the system calibrated, I fell asleep comfortably. I don’t have the results yet, so I’ll post a follow up once the results are in and I find out what the next steps are.

My technician was wonderful! Patient and amazing. It did take almost an hour from my scheduled time to actually be seen and get all the wires done, so I’d say wait to take any medications your doctor said to take. They seemed short-staffed so it took more than fifteen minutes to be seen. Walls are pretty thin so it’d be nice if they had more “quiet” signs and reminders posted. Close and convenient place.

Staff was very nice and my staff member when I needed something she was very kind, and helpful to me, however to me the room was cold. The call button was placed in the wrong place it should have been on the left side of the bed where the apparatus that I was hooked up too. But all in all it was very nice and clean, and my staff member brought me an extra blanket that was very nice of her, I do not remember her name, she was the only female there so to her thank you for helping me, there was a gentleman there too he was nice also. I give them two members a 5 stars the room setting gets 4 1/2 stars just because of the placing of the call button and being cold other than that it was a very nice stay.

Overall... it was a great experience.The overnight technician was fantastic. He made the experience feel comfortable and not too clinical. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions, putting me at ease.I would have given 5 stars if it weren’t for the initial scheduling call I had with a receptionist named Sarah. She was neither helpful nor understanding and her condescension was also unappreciated. Not being able to speak with a supervisor was also perturbing, so I couldn’t get any information I needed.

My experience was wonderful! My tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the procedure and made me feel very comfortable. He even brought me extra pillows. At one point i woke up and had to use the restroom so he helped me out of bed and then Re-hooked me back up so I could sleep for two more hours. I was very pleased with this as i have done sleep studies before and if i got up they made me go home and I didnt feel id slept enough for the study. So i left this time feeling id gotten a full nights sleep and cant wait to get the results. I felt right at home there and well taken care of

Overall my experience was very good! Nathan was excellent! He was kind, polite, attentive and gave instruction all through the night to reassure me and contribute to my level of comfort. He called me earlier in the evening to see if I had any questions and if I knew where to go. That call did so much to lessen my apprehension of being in a strange place, especially overnight and with someone I didn’t even know!Overall the room, bed, linens, were very attractive, clean and comfortable. There was a large recliner chair in the room that had damaged the side of the wall which was a bit unsightly. Also, used toilet paper could not be flushed and had to be placed in a receptacle which was a bit off putting.In general I would recommend the procedure and the facility especially under the direction of Nathan!

I had the Inspire Sleep device implanted on 11/24/22, and turned on 12/27/22. I was in afib around Nov. 1, so do not think that Inspire was the cause. I had a cardioversion on 1/18/23. First patient the Duke doctors had done with the implant. There was a protocol in place for the Inspire device. Cardioverted first try and in sinus rhythm for 2 weeks, then back in afib. Right after cardioversion I had to use my regular sleep apnea machine w/mask for 2 weeks. I went back into afib which I have been treated over 10 years. I went to my surgeon to turn Inspire on to be on the safe side--all went well. I am now going into the 7th setting this week. Here are my comments. Yes there was some pain after the surgery and I did have a headache for a few days due to how you lay during surgery. My 2 neck healed faster than the 2 chest incision. I no longer have any pain in the neck but the chest incision bothers me every so often. Sometimes if I lay on my side it hurts when I turn. It is my understanding after ~six months this will go away as the device has to become encapsulated into the scar tissue. The scar on the chest itches at times also. However, every day is better than the last. Every time I increase the level of the device I notice the strength more at the beginning and after a few days it resolves and does not bother me. Once I reach my ultimate level, I expect I will sleep as normal. I remember getting used the the sleep apnea machine and mask which took time as well. If you remember this, then remember the Inspire device is similar. Be patient, go slowly, and do not rush the settings. Just wanting to continue my journey until the sleep study takes place and I find out the results. The good news for me was that I met someone by chance that had the same doctor and implant 2 months before me. We compared stories which had an impact on my journey. The surgeons office was attentive to our individual needs as well as the 24 hour hotline. If you are considering this surgery, please know everyone has a healing and device process that lasts a few months. It is not instant gratification. I am 75 and the surgery has been worth it.

When we arrived we were greeted by a staff member who was a lady and she was very welcoming and very engaging with my daughter. The stay at advanced sleep was great. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. I didn’t sleep so well since I was more concerned about my 4 year not rolling off the bed. That’s the only down side of the beds.The facilitator was very gentle and patient in placing the wires on her body. He also asked for my help so nothing was uncomfortable for my daughter and also came to check up on her often. My daughter enjoyed the stay. She wanted to return the next night for another sleep study.Thank you!

I was greeted at the door by Ernie (female not sure how to spell her name) from the moment we met she was so caring and very professional. She was very thorough going over everything. I was so excited to have the study done to better my health and I think that made this whole process easier. The room was clean and neat like a 5 star hotel. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Now just waiting the results wish I hoped would be ready sooner. If I had any complaints that would be it. Due to the nature of things with COVID I am understanding that things take extra time . Definitely recommend this place

The technician were great. I had a problem with scheduling or whoever is in charge of giving detail about the procedure. When it was time to hook me up the tech put glue in my hair to hold the wire in place. I was never told that was gonna happen and I had just gotten my hair done. I had to wash my hair to remove the glue. I am African American and we have to handle our hair differently. I spent money i didn’t have to. Communication need to be improved.

The experience was made comfortable with the support and caring Noel. She calmed me down after I was so upset when I couldn’t find the location. The directions should have explained where the Lab was located. It was so dark I couldn’t see the signs. If it wasn’t for a guards help I would have never found the location.The study was better then I experienced before. The stuff that was put on my face was very difficult to remove and left my face very red and itchy. You should have provided something to clean it off with. The stuff in my hair was equally terrible would be better to get something else to use. Room was nice. Bed would have been nicer with a mattress pad Under the sheet covering the plastic water proof mattress cover. Would have liked some low meditation type music to go to sleep with but that’s not expected. I liked the mask that was used.Looking forward to getting the results.

The staff is nice but the rooms can use an uplift. I had an issue with my stay and the management took action and fixed it quickly.I now have my sleep machine and I am getting great support from the staff. I can tell they are focused on keeping their patients happy. The machine they provided is pretty cool it even has a sleep app :)

I like the room. Gives you the feel of a getaway, plush, comfortable. I truly appreciate the attentiveness of the staff that are monitoring you at the time. I was impressed with the young lady checking on me when I was sitting up on the edge of the bed. She was concerned Id fall. How did she know I was sitting up?Although the study was inconclusive, I only slept 2mins, I am looking forward to the reschedule appointment. Im thinking the bed was too soft. Hopefully it will be soon. Thank you.

I just recently got my sleep study done here. It was a 10 star experience. I was late because of circumstances I couldnt control, but my tech was an absolute sweetheart. He was polite and the set up although a little lengthy went very smooth. I got through the study and I think it was one of the better sleeps I have had in a long time. I cant remember my techs name only because I have a bad memory but I was there on 10/24/19 for a 10:30 appt. and I just want to tell him thank you so much over and over again for being so kind and making the process go as smoothly as it did. I would 10/10 recommend this place to everyone!!

It was a very pleasant experience all the way around. I wasnt sure I would be able to get to sleep in an unfamiliar environment, but I went to la-la land pretty quickly in spite of being completely wired up, plugged in, and monitored by Big Brother! Even got into some vivid dreaming, as usual for me, so got to watch my own private movie too! The dude with the long hair was exceptionally nice and professional (sorry, dont remember your name at the moment) --- a great blend of friendliness and professionalism which you dont see very often.

I had an excellent experience! I suffer from PTSD and my condition was acknowledged. I was asked questions that lead me to believe that the staff is very well trained with handling people with varying degrees of mental and physical difficulties. I had the best sleep that I have had in a very long time. The bed was huge and comfortable. The room temperature was perfect and I very much enjoyed my overall experience.

My doctor placed the order and gave me the time frame that I would have to wait to get into the Sleep Center for an evaluation. I was actually contacted before the time frame was up and the person that set the appointment was extremely friendly, polite and professional. Once I got into the facility for my appointment, I experienced the same friendly, polite and professional personnel behind the desk and the woman that assisted me in getting set up and connected for the evaluation was fantastic. She was able to answer all of my questions and put to rest (no pun intended) any concerns I had. I can not thank your team enough for you assistance, kindness and professionalism.

The facility was good. Chairs were too small for plus size people. Bed was great. My nurse was awesome!!! Patients should be told exactly which door to go to so they are not walking around outside the building. For patients who use a CPAP machine already. It should not take more than 2 hours to determine what needs to be done. Sleeping without a machine was very hard and I felt like I was suffocating and gasping for air.

All was efficiently set up for my sleep study. The bed was comfortable. The room temp was just right. Of course, it was difficult to sleep with all those wires but I hope they got enough data for the study. The walls could have some additional sound proofing but they had ear plugs available - yeah.The instructions said I could bring my own pillow so I did. Unfortunately, after an almost sleepless night I forgot my pillows at the center. Ive been unable to retrieve my pillows as the center has no open hours during the day and no one returned my call to schedule a time for a pick up. So, I guess Ill have to kiss those pillows good-bye.

I wouldnt recommend getting a sleep study done here. I had a terrible experience and Ive had sleep studies done in a sleep center before. This was at the Pasadena location.Firstly, when you get there after hours, its very tricky to find your way to right door as the building hosts various fast food restaurants and the door bell is insufficiently marked. The street entrance has no door bell, only the garage entrance. At the time I was arriving at night, all the kitchen staff of these restaurants were knocking off so there was a log jam of cars leaving as I was arriving making parking a bit of a hassle.The actual center itself doesnt seem much better. The bed in the room I slept in was rock hard. The walls are paper thin so I can hear the person in the room next to me snoring away. Also, the AC unit hummed loudly and vibrated the wall so there was constant irritating noise.I gave the overnight tech specific instructions on what my sleep specialist had told me. I brought 2 of my own masks (one nasal pillows mask and one full face mask) and I told the tech to wake me up half way through so we can switch masks. That way my sleep specialist can compare how one mask operates against the other. He said that he understood and I didnt think there would be an issue. After being all hooked up, I did find it tricky getting to sleep given all the other issues.When I was woken up, it was 6am and the tech had taken it upon himself to not do as both I and my doctor had requested. I was very annoyed about this.When I called the center later that morning to inform them about what had happened, the initial customer service rep wanted to hang the phone up on me. I demanded to speak to the manager and was eventually put through. However, she behaved rudely and tried to make some claim that if its not in the doctors specific instructions, the sleep center doesnt have to do it - which is total BS as the doctor had given me one of the masks specifically for the test and told me what he wanted to have done. All this manager did was divert the blame on to someone else and couldnt take responsibility for the mistakes of her overnight tech.After speaking to people who have worked for this company, I wasnt surprised that it has a terrible reputation. I will make sure to NEVER attend another sleep study at Advanced Sleep Medicine Services at this location and most likely will avoid other branches too.

Advanced Sleep Medicine in general has just been a mess to work with. I will review them, and this particular location.Good luck if you have to call this place (you cant call the location directly, its a call center for all locations). I suggest requesting that someone call you - you can do this through their website. Any time I tried to call I was on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes. Totally unacceptable.When I tried to schedule my first sleep study, I ended up going back and forth between my doctor and this place to try and get the right study. I kept telling them what I needed and they kept telling me the doctor ordered a different test (which they didnt, I called directly and verified). It took over a month to get the right study setup.When I arrived for the test, the person on staff was very courteous and sweet, but was clearly overbooked. He had way too much to do at once. There is a very obvious staffing issue here.This location is actually a little scary. You have to park in an underground structure at night and enter a code to get to an elevator. People in the building kept complaining that their vehicles were broken into at night. If I were doing an in-lab study, I would not use this location and leave my vehicle here.When I returned my equipment, the woman on staff at the time was late arriving for our appointment, and was extremely scattered. My husband was sitting in the car waiting for me, and noted that even though she was late, she was chatting on the phone in the parking ramp. My appointment was made to check that the equipment had recorded everything, but the woman working didnt have the necessary equipment to do that, so I could have saved myself 15 minutes of waiting and just dropped it off in the night deposit box - there was no need for the appointment.If you have any options as far as your insurance is concerned, I would suggest using a different sleep clinic, or at the very least, a different location.

Wonderful. I was there with my 11 year old son. We were asked questions and had our temp checked before we were allowed to enter. We were escorted to a private room . (Very clean) we both felt very safe. Every staff we encountered wore full PPE. The patient was unable to wear a mask due to all of the wires, etc that are put on him. But we were in a enclosed private room the whole time. I personally continually wore my mask ( 10hours)As a personal precaution. Professional staff from beginning to end. The service was great. I met someone at reception that made the instructions very clear and easy to understand. My issue came with the equipment. It died in the middle of the night I think. Once I woke up the machine wasn’t on and it didn’t turn on after multiple timed button presses. Not sure if it got the information it needed. Edit: so I have to go back in to pick up the equipment. Due to the machine dying in my sleep, they weren’t able to collect enough data. I would hope that I would get well enough charged batteries this time around because the drive is long and a haste to make at 830pm (their designated pick up time) Not to mention I’ll have to drop it off again the next day.Tl;dr: please make sure the batteries are charged for a full nights worth of operation.

I would not suggest doing a sleep study with this companies equipment. The equipment was so worn, the belt looked like it had been worn by hundreds of customers before I received it. I am a nurse so I am very familiar with the equipment, the black port you have to connect the pulse oximeter line to was stretched out and so loose that it kept falling off the machine any time I moved during my sleep. Not even sure if the study was complete but I am sending it back regardless because it’s no good use. Be prepared even though it indicated batteries as a included or needed supply on the list you have to purchase your own.

One thing that confused me when arriving at the facility is that it’s inside the big office building with the parking garage underneath it. I could see a sign with Advance sleep on it so I had to check the address again and make sure I was at the right place. It actually worked out to be better than I expected because it’s quite a secure location. You access the office from the elevator in the parking garage if your there after hours! On the wall beside it there are instructions on how to use the elevator because it is locked and requires a passcode. When I finally made it to the office I was greeted by Michael who was my Respiratory Therapist. He was welcoming and friendly and showed me to my room for the night. In the room there is basically everything you would have in a hotel room (except the minibar!!) The room was cozy and clean. The wires were all laid out on the bed so after getting changed into pjs I sat in a chair where Michael attached all the wires to my head, legs and chest. He was easy to talk to and super friendly. It made me feel much less anxious. There is a bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and plenty of room to change. It’s very clean and nicely decorated. After laying in bed and after Michael had calibrated the wires and machines I was able to either watch tv, read or use my phone until I was sleepy. You have a call button and you can press it if you need assistance during the night. It was easy to detach me from the wall so I could use the restroom if I needed it. The bed in the room could have been a little more comfortable but it’s only for one night and the sheets were very clean and soft so it wasn’t a big deal. After the night is done, I was woken at 5am to be detached from the wires and after you’re unhooked you can leave. It was such a smooth process and not as worrying as I had thought. There are quite a few other bedrooms in the facility so you can sometimes hear noises but it wasn’t a problem either. I would definitely recommend this sleep study center. And Michael gets 5 stars from me!

My experience with the sleep center was excellent. After I finished the paperwork, Carlos put the wires on me, and explained everything. He had to wake me up to put up the CPAP mask. I have curly hair which made it a little time consuming for setting up the wires, the guy did a wonderful job places the wires and removing them! I would totally do it again, but the only downfall was I stayed in a smaller bed and a smaller room, than all the other rooms. I was left standing at the door, at 10:30 pm, for 20 minutes. I had to call the service twice before someone came to get me. I could see that the walkie-talkie had no battery, but the guy made me feel like calling the service was bad. He was full of attitude and rushed me to get read. I was so uncomfortable. At 5am I was shocked out of my sleep and after completing their eye movements, wires were removed, and i was forced out the door. The man left huge globs of sticky stuff all over my head and face/beard and electrode pads stuck to my chest and back which I found later as I showered. There were several issues that need to be address starting with me being left overnight in a strange surrounding with a man i had never been introduced to. He was abrupt and verbally abusive, he was not helpful and very inattentive, had no compassion and unengaged. This person is not an asset to your organization and should not be in that position. I arrived early enough to watch television programs, but can not do it in a bed, my back needs support and there was no chair!, the bedside stand was only big enough to facilitate the necessary equipment of the SLEEP STUDY. There wasnt even any place to put my glasses or my water bottle....has anyone given that consideration???? and there was no temperature control in the room, so i was sweating all night in spite of the fan that was blowing directly on me. Additionally one of the pillow covers had blood spots on it. This room was not prepared or sufficient for ANY patients needs...yuckI will say that Amanda, who welcomed me was very kind and cordial, she explained everything, and helped me with getting comfortable in spite of the inefficiencies in the room. Her compassion and understanding were appreciated.There are obviously some issues the company needs to address, and in speaking with my Primary Care physician about the experience he was APPALLED!!!

My wife had a sleep study there. The facilitator there could not have been more helpful. My wife has memory issues as a result of a stroke, so he took extra care with her as well as myself. He was great! Since N is a minor I will leave this comment for him. Everyone was extremely professional and caring. The technician was patient with all my questions and very knowledgeable. I would suggest that the person or persons who make the beds actually look at the bedding. Both the sheet and the blanket on the caregiver bed was dirty and they had placed a folded flat on the plastic mattress as a fitted sheet. I unfolded it, placed the dirty side down so when I turned I wouldnt end up on bare mattress and I asked for different covers which was immediately brought and was so incredible that I wish I knew where to purchase that comforter.I didnt know what to expect and after showing the video to my sister who has done a sleep study, she was shocked by how nice it looked compared to where she had to do for hers. Place looked clean and smelled clean. Your employees were overworked, your facility was overbooked, my appointment was at 9:45 and It was 1 hour and 15 minutes before I attended to. There were 5 people that evening for a sleep study and you only had 2 technicians working. Additionally, I filed the paperwork on line and for whatever reason your technicians could not access it, and I had to redo all the forms and questionnaire, so I recommend you warn people on your website or via email, that way if they have an early day the next day, they can plan accordingly and maybe book themselves for 7:30PM if they plan to be in bed by 9:00PM.One more thing, for some inexplicable reason, there is an 16 square inch hole cut out of the ceiling tile directly above your head when you are laying down. I thought it was for a camera for the study, came to find out its a landlord issue, they never fixed it, so you are staring into the ceiling space as you drift away, wondering if a rat is going to peer its head out the hole, but I kept telling myself the place looked too clean to have rats, and off I drifted to sleep.

Once inside everything was handled professionally. However upon arrival the doors were locked and I had to call around to get the code. The door where the code could be used was accessed by steps only. There was no place by this door to sit while I tried to contact someone. There was no ramp for handicapped access. One comment I have…Nothing in the instructions speaks to the tension of the belt around your chest. I was standing when I put mine on and since it wanted to slide downward, I kept increasing tightness until it was snug-firm (I would not classify it as tight). Unfortunately, I woke after 3 hours feeling a severe ache at the front sternum point and the back spinal point directly under the belt. Although I immediately loosened the belt, the pain continued and kept me from falling back to sleep. The only way I was able to alleviate it was to sit up. Eventually I moved to a recliner that allowed me to be in a semi-reclined position and I was able to fall back to sleep after an hour or so. It took a good 24 hours for the aching to completely dissapate. I have not received my sleep study results to learn how this affected the data.

Jennifer was my nurse and she was amazing, I immediately felt safe and comfortable after interacting with her. My HIPAA protected health information that I entered into their computer system was lost by this company and no one seems terribly concerned by this. I received one follow up phone call from a supervisor with no resolution.I have to have two studies instead of one despite my already being a CPAP user, which results in my having to pay two deductibles instead of one. Trying to navigate the call center is impossible. Most of the agents appear unfamiliar with the job and lack knowledge in how to assist people. I had one agent tell me that the technicians would accept my payment before my appointment and then have another tell me that was impossible and that I would have to reschedule my appointment, which was fortunately over-ridden by a supervisor. Needless to say, the technicians did accept my payment.The room I stayed in was next to a very noisy bathroom with a toilet that kept running. I was never instructed to bring ear plugs to facilitate some sleep during the night. We were handled very professionally. The center is nice and hotel-like. Give an extra five minutes to find the right building entrance in the dark. My teenage son had the sleep test. Communication was great, other than a momentary scare when we were told there would not be a cot for me to sleep on (parents must stay in the room the whole night and we were told Id have a cot.) There ARE cots : ) The CPAP mask and its adjustment pretty much mean you will get woken up a whole bunch, but that is necessary. Just prepare to be a little tired the next day.

The idea of sleeping with a mask over your face is terrible. I had gone online to find out about it, I visited a friend to see her device. But having it over your face is different. The nurse is very kind, she changed the first device for a second which I found easier. I actually found it to be really relaxing after I was fitted and lights turned off. I had a sleep study Multiple Sleep Latency Test on Monday night -7/6 and also on Tuesday morning - 7/7. The sleep study went fine until at 5:30 a.m. I was awakened and took my morning medications and ate my peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich @ 6:00 a.m. and I either watched Channel 5 morning news or read my Kindle and II had to stay awake until the Multiple Sleep Latency Test started at 7:25 a.m. The first of four tests - there were a total of four rest every two hours went fine and I fell asleep right away. When I woke up the light in the room was on. I then either watched TV or read a book on my Kindle between the tests. The second, third and fourth tests I just closed my eyes and relaxed my body since I wasnt sleepy at all. The testing was fine and the technician Damien was a GREAT man. If anybody is recommended by their doctor to have a Multiple Sleep Latency Test I would recommend the Torrance location since it was close to where I live.The room that I was in (#11) was really nice and the bed, pillows were very comfortable to sleep on.Loraine Roberts

My appointment was at 10:30 sharp. I arrived at 10:30 sharp. I sat in bright white 6x 6 waiting aria for 30 min. I was taken to a 12x 10 bright white room with a bed and tv. A women hooked me up in 20 mins or so. and switched the lights off. she never said more than 25 words and there was no instructions or warning that it was last call/ light out. I took over 2 hours to relax and get comfortable enough to fall a sleep. Bam! it was on. I wonder and doubt the results will be accurate and do not believe they will paint a true picture. The place and employee should have been more soothing, warm and quiet. lights should have been lower maybe some light music. Some instruction on how to get comfortable, what was going on and a moment or two to settle in.

One weird thing was when I clicked on the address in the text they sent me for the driving map, it lead me to the old encino office that I did not even know existed (heard about it after I got to the correct address, from the front desk lady) not the address in the text. Believe it or not that actually is the most important feature for a child to feel comfortable before sleeping considering they are hooked to a machine with about 40-50 wires. My daughter couldnt sleep and is now traumatized by the experience. Dont recommend at all.

I had a 4am appointment and arrived at 345am at the garage elevator and after entering the 4 digit passcode, the elevator would not work. It took 6 weeks to get my appointment and because the air temperature was in the 30s, I was freezing and almost went home but decided to pound on the door to see if I could get in. Fortunately I had a print-out of the email detailing my appointment and showed it to 2 women who came to the glass door. I was let in and was told that they did not have me on their schedule, so after about 20 minutes I was cleared for the test. The young woman who helped me was wonderful and she stayed the night and morning until 11am, after coming to work at 8pm the night before because there was no technician scheduled for my test. There is a huge lack of communication between Kaiser and ASMS. It took many tries to get the modified sleep order approved because ASMS claimed they never received the request after I told my doctor and he kept sending in requests. ASMS has serious management issues that need to be resolved.

Then they wake you up to put on the CPAP @ about 2:30AM if you need it. Then they wake you again at 5:15AM to conclude it. There’s goo stuck I your hair from the electrodes so you have to go home and shower. I could barely drive because I was so tired. Thankfully I had the day after the test off of work, so I just showered and sat on the couch all day. Actually, it was about an hour and a half later. Im not complaining about the opportunity to sleep later, but it is important to know that this may happen so that you can tell your employer that you might be late to work in the morning (or if you are not bringing your car and need plan public transportation or for someone to give you a ride home) and so you know what clothing, sunglasses, etc., to bring.One suggestion: There should be a shower, both to help getting the stuff out of your hair and so that you can go to work after an overnight test without having to go home first.

Overall, I had a poor experience at ASMS during my in-lab sleep study. If I need to do a sleep study again, I will look for a different facility. I am giving ASMS two stars because the technician assigned to me was compassionate and kind. But I was disappointed in the facilities. The lighting was way too bright--large banks of florescent lights in the ceiling of the waiting room. At 10:30 pm, the lighting should be dimmed to prepare the body for sleep. The lighting in my room and the bathroom was also very bright. Also, the rooms should have much better insulation. I could hear the technicians in their control room talking and laughing and coughing. This made it much more difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. I could also hear the person in the room next to mine when she buzzed for help. I probably disturbed her, too. Twice I requested ear plugs and never got them. (Would ear plugs have made a difference?) Too noisy means not much actual sleep and much less data gathered than my doctor wanted.

I arrived at the scheduled time, 9:45 pm, to find the entire parking lot and building dark and empty. No security guard inside or outside. Once in the building, the lighting was terrible. VERY CREEPY. Dark, empty hallways. I almost left then, but decided to just get this over with. When I found the office (3rd floor...dark elevator), the young lady working was very polite and nice. However, there were COCKROACHES in the brightly lit reception area. I could only imagine how many roaches would be running around once I’m tucked in, and the lights were turned out!! I left and will re-schedule with a different clinic.Being a nurse, I am tempted to report this to the health dept!I would not give even one star, but the site will not post without it.

Arriving late in the evening, the clinic was hard to find. I was unsure where to park. There was no building guard to provide directions, and the elevator was locked. He finally showed up.Once I found the office, the staff was very professional. But I struggled to get restful sleep, being so intensely instrumented. The male technician was rude and not accommodating. I requested that the AC be turned on but was rejected immediately. His manner of dealing with his patient is undesirable. He did not make an effort to assist the agent in cleaning up after the procedure. The way he pulls out the tapes in my body is brutal. I complained and requested him to be a little gentle but all he utter was “it’s tape”. Not a single “please” was heard from him.I will never recommend this place to anybody.

The Hemet location technician was professional, friendly, and courteous. The facility was clean and the bed was comfortable. The office is in a bad neighborhood and I feared for my vehicle in the parking lot.My experience with corporate was terrible. I would give them zero stars if possible. After receiving my referral, I never heard anything about a sleep study. When I called my doctor, I was told that I should have heard from Advanced Sleep Medicine Services by now and they gave me a corporate number. When I called, I was told that Advanced Sleep had called me to schedule an appointment twice and left voicemails. I never received any voicemails and there was no record of received calls in my phones history. It took me two attempts to complete the online questionnaire. Even so, I was asked to complete hard copies of the same documents when I got to the office. I called the corporate office 4 times asking about an email with instructions that I was supposed to receive. I never did get an email with instructions. Fortunately, I brought my mandibular device with me, in case I needed it, as I was told that I could not have done the test without it. I was 45 minutes from the office and it was 10 o’clock at night. Corporate needs to get their act together.

This was not a good experience for my family. None of the assurances I received in the pre-appointment interview happened. We arrived at 9:00 pm. The tech scared my child by talking about watching to see if she was going to stop breathing. The TV and wifi did not work in our room. The toilet was clogged. My child was not hooked up until after 10:30 pm and the 2nd bed did not arrive until after 11:30 pm which only kept my daughter up longer. Locally, pretty good: 4 stars. Would have given 5 if a local Torrance office phone contact had been available to ask a simple question. Corporate wide, not so good: 2 stars. Poor computer programming causing countless needless calls in both directions because either the doctors office staff gave, or ASMS input the wrong code showing I was to be a night stay. After much time wasted by both parties, I suggested the record be purged, and a new one created. It was either that or the help of a very nice rep that made it happen as I was now scheduled to pick up a home study kit. However, when I went to pick up the unit, I was not on the schedule: poor communication between corporate and local office. Another item, paper instructions were just a bit ambiguous regarding when to press on/off button for the 2nd time to turn off unit and how to place the finger sensor (palm side or knuckle side--illustration was ambiguous). Unfortunately I didnt have a great experience with this location. 2 weeks ago I received a call from the sleep clinic. I set up a time to pick up my equipment. When I arrived there was no one there. I waited in he hall. Eventually someone showed up. She asked me when my appointment was. I said 8:00 p.m.. She said no one had informed her of my appointment. She said she would set up for me if I paid $225.00. I had not been informed of any charges. I said I would rather reschedule as I was not prepared to pay that much for the service. I called again a week later to set up a time to come. At that time I was informed that the charge would be $60.00 because I have PPO insurance. I arrived for my 2nd attempt to pick up equipment. Again I was left waiting in the hall. Some showed up 10 minutes later and again she said she had not been informed of my appointment. She made me fill out the same forms again. She also said my charge would $225.00. when I told her I had been informed on the phone of a $60.00 copay she checked and said no she had to charge me at least half or she would not go forward with the the demonstration. I paid the $112.00 and took my equipment home. This is the fourth sleep study I have done. Three of those have been done at the Arden location. Appointments are not being logged properly. My time is important to me. Please rectify these problems or I will find a different location next time.

If at all possible, avoid using this group and especially at this location. I understand their sole purpose is to do sleep studies so their hours of business are not traditional - 8:30pm to 6:30am. When I was able to schedule my at home sleep study, I had to pick it up at 8pm. So far so good even though the receptionist/office tech didnt seem to understand my questions or effectively communicate with me. The problems began when I was scheduled to return the product. When I arrived at the office at 8:10 (I was running late since my drop off time was 8pm) the office was closed and lights off. A woman had been waiting there for them to open and informed me she just got off the phone that they would be cancelling all their appointments for that night because the tech had a family emergency - totally understandable. The problem I have with this is I didnt get a call from them until 8:30 letting me know this. They should have called me right away. Because of the non-traditional business hours, Im unable to take it back during the week because of other events I have scheduled. They allow me to return the product at 9am on one of the following days which isnt ideal but doable. I arrive at the office right before 9am and the office is closed. I call them to ask what the deal is since one of the phone reps assured me I could drop it off at 9am. they tell me that no one is able to come by. Its been twice now that they have failed to have someone there for me to drop off the sleep study. I now have to rearranged my business plans so I can go tonight and drop it off at 8pm. I made it a point to work around their schedule when I was to pick up and drop off the study. Now because their failure to be professional I have to move around what I had already plan for a month. Total lack of professionalism and very disappointing.

Easy to do. Easy to sleep in. Specific instructions are needed for women in wearing the belt. I wore it above my breasts which was more comfortable than over them or below them. There were some counterdictory instructions on different pages of the instructions. 1)The oximeter was not disposable and one instruction said to not return it but to dispose of it. 2)Also one instruction said to attach the canula end to the data collection box, counter clockwise and on another page it said twist it clockwise. The apparatus arrived a day late. Returning was so easy!

I took my mom to the sleep center. I was there while they explained the process to her and connected everything. I was told to come back at 6 am and she’d be walking out the door by 6:10. I got there. I couldn’t get in. I pushed the call button (doorbell at the sliding glass doors) and nothing happened. I asked security for help and he said he didn’t have a key. I called the number on the website - both the after hours extension and the Torrance extension and there was no answer. My mom came down on her own at 6:40. She had been waiting in the lobby for me. No one told her what time it was or asked if she needed anything while she waited for me (meanwhile I’m panicked downstairs trying to figure out how to get in for more than 30 mins), she still had some of the sticky stuff on her hair and face. They disconnected her and that was it.If you are going to have a doorbell - make sure it works. Or have a phone number next to it, in case no one answers the doorbell.

Went their for a sleep study, it was very dusty outside due to the Construction outside, the inside was very dirty and unorganized looking as well. That should have been my first reason to leave. Anyway got prepared for the Sleep Study in a room that seemed dusty and not overly clean. I was told that the Information would be sent to my Doctor that week, coming on 10 days today and still my Doctor has not received it. In addition, I paid $795 out of Pocket as the Insurance only agreed to do the in Home Study (Which I wish I had done now) but it had expired anyway. The next day I came down with a Bacterial Eye Infection, I am 90% certain it was because they had not changed either the Pillow Case or Blanket in the Room. I had my sleep study done last night . I snore, have trouble falling asleep, stay asleep,gasp for breath and have sleep apnea . It was a little uncomfortable to begin with but once I accepted the idea it was peaceful and calm. I loved the bed and the bedding . Particularly the pillows I didnt slide off which I believe helps cause the airwaves to close. I want my own set of these pillows. My guide for the night was a lovely man by the name Carlos. My first appointment was for February 20th according to an email I received. That day I went to the appointment and they simply told me that there was a mistake and that they had no space for me. That day I had to pay $50 babysitter and nobody gave me any clear explanation. I had to call next week because I needed the study and when I explained to the person on the phone, again there was no explanation for the problem and any apology for that. Finally, on the 27th they did my test and again, I had to paid $50 babysitter.The thing is, you can send a text that if I fail the visit, you will charge me up to $150 to me, but who do you charge if you fail the appointment?

I appreciated the care and time the staff took to make me comfortable during the testing. The wires and nodes are cumbersome and all over your body but they really try to make it as easy as it can be for you to move and find a comfortable position.

There was no information about a blinking red when it’s on, other then it’s not working correctly. I almost didn’t even do it because after a brief moment if green the red would blink. I’m still not sure if it worked?

I was dreading the process because I would have to take my 10 year old son who is super anxious when away from home. He was referred to the study by his pediatric neurologist. The next morning I left completely in awe because of the great experience we both had. Pat was amazingly patient with my son and kept him entertained while getting set up. By the time he had to go to sleep, my son was completely at ease. Wish I could get him to go to sleep that quickly at home!

I have no problems with the room and its cleanlyness. This was my 3rd sleep study and never had as bad an experience as this one. The technitian (Bernard) was thorough but not overly friendly and at the end very sharp and went to office and closed the door. My last 2 sleep studies required I sleep without machine half of night and then after seeing the apnea and snoring and such would place me on machine to determine adequate pressures...this guy says to me oh no we are not doing it like this now because of covid...you will not have a machine...whatttt!!!! I know I wont do well and will have a horrible night like this. .. why do a sleep study this way? There is no point to it other than make money from insurance...Im very upset and have told this to my doctors office and they stated that there are many complaints about this particular center...well...stop sending people there...yes, the bedding is wonderful and rooms are comfortable and clean, but so is my room at home ...i dont recommend this place because of this. It was a horrible night experience!!!

We had to take our four year old in for a sleep study. We were very unsure how she would. Amanda at Advanced Sleep Medicine services was absolutely amazing! She helped to out our daughter at ease by explaining what she was doing and letting our daughter touch everything before putting it on. She made what could have been a very traumatic experience for a four year old into a breeze. In fact my daughter keeps saying she wants to go back to her sleep study! Thank you Amanda!

My experience was ok. The main thing that bothered me was that the sleep technician didnt speak much English. I felt that I couldnt discuss my worries or anxiety with him concerning the sleep study because I had extreme trouble falling asleep. When I snacked since I was hungry in the middle of the night, he just asked Are you almost finished? Without asking why I couldnt sleep or giving me tips. He just mentioned that I was sleeping in a new place and that could be why. Also, the sleep lab was short. 10:30pm-5:30pm. It doesnt give you enough time to relax and get used to your surroundings. I just felt that they could have tried better and at least asked if I have insomnia. I would recommend a better place.

Staff is very friendly and the room are relaxing. I suffer from insomnia but the bed was so comfortable that i feel asleep without any sleep aids. I had an attitude when they woke me up in the morning.

At Advanced Sleep Medicine Services Facilities in Lancaster Where clean, the technicians were very nice, and very Accommodating.I had a lot of sensors, Wiring and the likes there were connected to me but overall experience was very nice.

Slept pretty decent considering all the connections and medical input devices that you need to have attached to you. Had a little bit of trouble with my Uber, but I googled the address and the office was on the back side of the building. I realized that the issue was because the Uber driver didnt know the specific suite number.

Very nice people and a professional experience. I just did a home sleep study and have not gotten any feedback yet, so I dont know if I did it right. I received some one-on-one instruction on how to use the device, but it would have been helpful to have some kind of written instructions as well. How about making a youtube video?

The techs were fantastic!! Friendly, knowledgeable and comforting. Of course my experience started of like a horror movie. Arriving at night, no lights in the parking lot, and the entire building was locked. No lights in the building except one office on the top floor. Yep, thats where I was supposed to go. Evidently, theres a key code that was never given to me prior to my arrival. Actually, nothing was told to me prior to my arrival. After calling the number to the company, a lady gave me the code. I went into the building, shut the door behind me, only to be locked in a DARK building with a long hallway. The elevator was out of order, and this was unnerving. A woman, by myself in the dark in a strange building...ugh!! I made my way up to the top floor, that found again was totally dark. I walked to a door, cracked open and I peaked in, I was in the right spot, but I didnt see anyone. Finally, my tech appeared, but I was scared to death. Now Im supposed to go to sleep....ummm, that took a bit. Again, the techs that do the sleep study are AMAZING. Im glad I did it, but wow, what an adventure.

I parked on P2 in the parking garage, took the elevator to the 4th floor, and rang the office door bell when it was my appointment time. Easy!The lab tech was very professional, she explained the procedure, then attached a Lot of wired sensors to me, and then I went to sleep. (It helps to be tired so its a little easier to fall asleep with all those attached wired sensors).

Very efficient and considerate. Preparation is tedious and was performed meticulously. I got to sleep immediately and slept well. The building does not have a number on it so it is difficult to find. I did not feel well in the morning but that is typical for me; I felt rushed in the morning.

The technician in the Pasadena office treated me very wonderfully. However I wanted to again express my displeasure with the West Covina office and the way I was treated there two nights earlier. You need to do something about that. Which is why you only get 4 stars.
