I had a 3rd appointment before cataract surgery. Dr, Abroms answered all of my questions. I now have assurance that I have chosen the best option for me. He takes time with each patient. The staff are cheerful, knowledgeable & always very helpful. Christine is wonderful! Thank you.

The office was very busy, but there was no delay in meeting with Dr. Abroms. He clearly explained my immediate surgical future and just how he would correct my current vision issues. Knowing what to expect makes it much easier to face both the pending surgery and the period of recovery.

My pre-surgery consultation with Dr. Abroms was very thorough. Im still not sure if Ill go with glasses right now or just schedule the cataract surgery but I was given more than enough information to make an informed decision. I felt all of my questions were answered and good guidance was provided.Update - I regret having the surgery. My vision has been worse ever since.

He was nice enough and pleasant to talk with, but my issue has not been solved as of yet. He had told me I would hear something back soon regarding cataract surgery of my second eye. I am anxious to get it done and over with. Very frustrating.

Dr. Abrams has picked the best staff members any office would want to have. Everyone there is so sweet, polite, very educated and in good spirits. I’ve been taking my mom to Dr. Abrams for the past 2 years and my dad just recently started going there and I appreciate a safe comfortable environment. Dr. Abrams never rushes through any appointments and makes sure all our questions are answered in persons or by phone, he has never left us hanging and that’s trustworthy. He has saved my mom from going blind. Thank you for that! His facility is so nice and clean, it feels safe. Maybe they can bring their snacks back after the pandemic ;-)I highly recommend Dr. Abrams to the world! =D

I was greeted with a friendly and courteous staff with all my visits. I was treated professionally and everything was clearly explained to me about my cataract procedure and various lenses to choose from after my cataract removal. I fell very confident with Dr. Abrams performing my surgery and I would recommend him to my friends and family to see him first for all their vision needs before going anywhere else.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and supportive in my best interests, from the front desk to Dr. Abroms himself. Rather than rushing the process, Dr. Abroms and his assistants found a way to make sure that I get timely treatment without just putting me on meds or cutting into my eyes. And they all travel to the 3 locations together, so their service is the same at all locations! I went to the Santa Maria office, which was clean and orderly! High marks from me!!!

I was referred by 3 different strangers to go to Dr. Abroms. The 5 stars given isnt enough. They deserve way more stars if it were possible. The staff were so nice and helpful. Nicest staff in a Drs office that I have experienced. Dr. Abroms even called me himself after my surgery to check on me. Most caring Dr Ive ever met! I will recommend him to everyone I can!

I arrived right on time and was taken into exam room before my seat was even warm. I dread long waiting room visits so was happy to be seen fast. The whole office and staff seem to run very efficiently like clockwork. The doctor was kind and thorough. I knew I was in good hands with my precious eyesight.

It would have been fine, except I was asked to come in an hour early due to scheduling changes, and then had to wait an hour. As a result, Dr seemed a bit rushed. Hope the laser treatment worked as well as the first one.

I need cataract surgery and some extraordinary circumstances have combined that mean I need it corrected very quickly. I started the process with another office and wasted precious weeks waiting my turn in their slow moving schedule, only to be put off months for this critically needed corrective procedure.Frustrated, I contacted Dr Adam Abrom’s office and was promptly scheduled for initial exam and measurement consultation, with staff taking special effort to arrange my scheduling so I would not drive into a setting sun or after dusk. Those are two things very difficult with a full blown cataract.Everyone involved so far has grasped the urgency of this situation and I feel they are bending over backwards to get this done for me as quickly and safely as possible.Covid protocol remains in place in their office and they were very thorough in explaining procedures.I’m not finished yet with the full procedure, but feel very encouraged that I have found staff in Dr. Abrom’s office who are competent and.also very caring.

After a month since the surgery, my eyes are better than ever. No pain what so ever. No floaters either. When I looked at the eye chart, I was reading the last line; correctly! I can see very well at a distance and read on the computer with no glasses. It was very easy setting up payments for the lens and very easy to pay the payment online. I would recommend ADV Vision to all friends and family.

I was happy with Dr Abroms and his staff. There were miscommunications with my payments...whether or not I could pay over the phone. First the answer was no regarding paying with my debit card and we wasted a couple trips to Santa Maria when your doors were locked. Then it was ok to pay over the phone all of the sudden. Then my appt time was mixed up. I was told 8:00 for my 2nd surgery and then I got a call that morning that I was late...was told the wrong time. So there were some minor issues that made me feel a little uncertain. Now after several weeks I have floaters in my eyes that I had checked out by my eye Dr. She said there was left over medicine in my eyes. I hope they go away soon...theyre bugging me.

ADV Vision Center in both Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo are amazing. The entire staff, from the front desk to the doctor’s assistants, to Dr Abrom are all kind, gentle, and informative. I had cataract surgery in both eyes. The staff at the surgery center were also wonderful and very kind. When I needed a little adjustment, they took care of that ASAP as well. I would highly recommend Dr Abrom and ADV Vision with great confidence

Had my Lasik done. The whole process was great. My eyes felt great just 18 hours post op! They were accommodating with the pre surgical appointment. The surgery appointment was less than 90 minutes!Couldnt be more happy.

This summer I went to ADV vision to have Dr. Abroms look at the pterygium in my right eye. I used to have one in my left eye as well but I had surgery to remove it in Reno last year. My Doctor in Reno grafted a clear piece of my eye from under my eyelid onto where the pterygium was removed. It has since healed beautifully with no redness. After the surgery I received from Dr. Abroms it didn’t even look like he put a graft on after he removed the pterygium which was supposed to happen (I have it in writing) and my eye was still very red (it still is as I type this) I called the office with my concern and his assistant assured me that there was a graft but “probably couldn’t see it without a microscope” which is very strange because I could see the graft easily on my left eye...I had my follow up appointment moved up about a month earlier and Dr. Abroms told me that I had regrowth!? And we might have to operate again?? No way! He prescribed steroid eye drops. I’m just extremely unhappy with how my eye turned out I will be getting a second opinion from another Doctor. Don’t get pterygium surgery from Dr. Abroms!!!!!
