I’m a huge fan of Adapt Clinic! Over the past year+, I’ve had remarkable results and a consistently positive experience each visit. Dr. Mike Grossman is true professional who genuinely cares about his patients and the quality of service that he and his office staff provide. He’s extremely knowledgeable about muscleskeletal injuries and he offers a variety of techniques and procedures that he tailors for each patient. I’m so grateful for the health and mobility improvements he’s provided me and the at-home exercises he’s prescribed to continue strengthening the problem areas. I went in after I put my back out exercising. And saw Dr. Mike Grossman, he was very thorough in asking me all about my current pain and previous injuries. After the treatment, I was given homework and exercise to help me get better quicker and to not have another injury in the future. He uses different therapies depending on your needs. After my back was feeling back to normal I went back to him to have him look at my ankle I broke years ago, and he used the pulsing shock treatment on it to break up old scar tissue, it is the best it has felt in years. I highly recommend Dr. Mike and Adapt Health Clinic for all your needs. You will see improvements with the treatment and exercises they prescribe.

I came here in desperate need of relief for my lower back pain and Mike was the one that helped me out. Each time I come, I feel sooooooo much better. Mike cares for your overall health and offers great advice. He takes the time to get to know you and your issues which most chiropractors do not do based on my experience. The office is always extremely clean and I have complete trust in what they do at this clinic. I highly recommend coming here!

Dr. Grossman is immensely personable and proficient. Easily the best chiropractor Ive ever seen. He really listens, and his approach is holistic and geared towards finding solutions for both the short and long term.I always thought that chiropractors were all about the back and a quick adjustment, but when you see Dr. Grossman he employs a number of different modalities to address multiple areas of the body as needed.Adapt is a friendly place, and has a small gym area where his business partner John works with patients in physical therapy. These guys are the real deal. I probably would never have known about Adapt were it not for my longtime trainer at Fit Clinic in San Jose.I have a long history of physical issues, and it is so gratifying to have found people who really care and are ready, willing, and able to help me thrive.

Dont waste your time! My husband went 3 time to Dr. Mike and it was a complete waste of time. My husband told the dr about his neck pain (knots) but not much was done. The dr. did a few stretches and then right to shock/laser therapy for a total session time of 15 minutes when we are paying for 30 mins. My husband has been to other chiropractors (these chiropractor are no longer available) that were much more hands on with adjustments and moving muscles back it to place. Instead of going to Adapt chiropractic, you are better off somewhere else or even a masseuse. Hope this review helps you in your decision. Good luck!

Been seeing Dr. Grossman for chiropractic adjustments, laser, and shockwave treatments. He’s helped me so much with managing chronic pain flare ups and addressing some fascia calcifications that I’ve been struggling with. My flare ups have been happening less and less often since we started working together. Highly recommend him!

My Husband and I rave to all family, friends and gym members regarding Dr. Grossmans Chiropractic work. He is phenomenal, extremely knowledgeable and I am forever grateful for having been referred to him.Initially I had a pinched nerve in my neck and was unable to move at all, being a Certified Personal Trainer and Gym Owner, my being immobile was a huge impact on my day to day. Especially being a Mother of a toddler and newborn at the time. A trip to the E.R. didnt help me as much as Dr. Grossman did. We are now going on over 2+yrs, a 3rd pregnancy and my Husband being a professional MMA fighter (Dr. Grossmans services were essential during his fight camp and recovery). The facility is always clean and the team is engaging and professional. Ive always appreciated how everyone takes the time to get to know you, even if theyre not seeing you directly. Plus, theyre always open to your questions and willing to show you a quick exercise or stretch that will support you. I appreciate seeing them work as a team and have fun, too!On a personal notes, Ive been seeing Dr. Grossman for years and have received care for upkeep as well as when I havent been able to walk well (due to a back injury). He always listens to whats going on with me, checks-in w/me about my mobility/stretch work, and makes suggestions about our treatment plan. Going into a chiropractor for the first time was very nerve wrecking to be honest. I hurt my back and pain was excruciating, I wasnt able to sleep well, sit comfortably or even walk properly. Dr Grossman is very professional, hes very friendly and very thorough in knowing exactly what is wrong and how to fix it. He makes personalized plans to reduce or completely eliminate pain. I have had chronic upper back and shoulder pain for years, which Dr. John has helped me with for the past 2 years. I have been seeing a great improvement with mobility since seeing Dr. John, but needed help with strengthening and muscle development. Dr. John recommended Elliana for personal training to work on strengthening my back and improving my posture. I started with a twenty-week personal training session. After the first three-weeks I saw significant muscle definition in my back and a big improvement in my posture. Eliana has been amazing! She is great with creating targeted workouts and adjusts my workouts as needed to meet my physical constraints. Ive been going to Grossman for the last year. I initially came in with some chronic issues in my back and neck. As a yoga teacher myself, I was looking for someone who gave more than just the typical chiropractic adjustments, and I definitely found that in Grossman!I never feel rushed in any session with Dr. Grossman. He gives a buffer between most clients appointments, so that he can really sit with each person as needed. He answers all my questions to my full satisfaction, and even gives additional info if he sees Im interested in learning more. Hes given plenty of unique exercises to compliment each treatment, so that I can strengthen the necessary muscles and reduce pain. My symptoms responded well pretty quickly to his sessions, and now I just go in semi-regularly for maintenance :-).Highly recommend Dr. Grossman if you want someone who will listen, really pay attention to what you need, and give you the time and energy you deserve.

Doctor Grossman has been one of the best decision I could have made, from adjustments to excellent advise and at home stretches and exercises. The first time I went to Adapt Health was for a strained groin, and to help with some shoulder mobility. During the visit Dr. Grossman did A.R.T, and some needed adjustments. After that, Mike, one of their personal trainers showed me some stretches to help. On my second visit we went through the same routine, and they added three more stretches.Things feel great. I’m back to my workouts and am now doing upper body workouts without shoulder pain.

Dr. Grossman provides a very thorough treatment relative to the other chiropractic experiences Ive had. He goes far beyond simply adjusting a patient which I really appreciated. He spent time familiarizing himself with my injury and how it relates to my lifestyle. Not only did his treatment provide me pain relief, but he spent time educating me on movements to be careful of and exercises that I could do at home to facilitate his work in order to make more progress between visits. Along with the feeling that Dr. Grossman genuinely cared about my well being, I felt very comfortable with him and found his online booking particularly convenient to schedule my visit. I was recently introduced to Dr. John Bellicitti during a three-year anniversary celebration at Yoga Six studio, and he spent about 10 minutes with me at that time and I...no lie...felt like a completely new person after I left...so much so that I immediately booked an initial appointment with him over lunch today and once again...I feel great...better than I have in a long time!!! Its an out-of-pocket expense and a bit pricey but I believe its 100% worth the investment. John spent quality time with me, listening to me ramble on about all my aches and pains (and I felt like he really heard me), then he took the info I gave him and worked on all my aches and pains and then...taught me some exercises and movements that I can do at home to help myself. I greatly appreciate how the goal of this clinic is to spend quality time with clients helping them feel better, while educating them on what they can do to help themselves, so eventually they will only need to come in for an adjustment every now and then, rather than the never-ending week after week after week crack session! Ive been Dr.Grossman patient for 2,5 years and cant be more happier. I came with lower back pain and sacrum pain problems which I had for a year after delivering my second baby. Dr. Grossman figured out the problem areas and not only fixed it but also showed me exercises to do at home to prevent this problems in a future. Dr. Grossman is a very honest person who wont scare you with non-existing problems to get your money. All his scheduled visits are very reasonable and helpful!!! Im really happy to be his patient. Being my first (& only) chiropractor he was was amazing at breaking down what he was going to do at my first appointment and future sessions. He made me comfortable and the results were amazing. My first experience with him was just outstanding, he went into extreme detail about everything that was going to happen, and made sure I was comfortable with it, he also takes to time to ask questions and pinpoint exactly where your pain is coming from,. Mebeing an Ex veteran serving in Afghanistan, my back pain I suffered there stuck with me for years after my service. Dr. Grossman is great. He takes time to assess my condition and explain the procedure. He works on my muscle and joint, doing movement, rotation, adjustment all by himself. I feel being personally treated and cared for, not like some places I had been to where doctor only shows up in the beginning and end. In addition Dr. Grossman is very unique in that he assigns homework in every session which are exercises you can do at home and office to speed up recovery. These exercises are very good for me to practice in the long term to maintain my health. Dr. Grossman always sets the treatment schedule based on an up-to-date assessment of my condition. He clearly puts my interest first which is not always the case among the chiropractors I have seen. I would recommend Dr. Grossman without reservation.

Ive been powerlifting for about 3 years now and Dr. Grossman has helped me with all my needs (pain, tightness, mobility etc). I originally went to Dr. Grossman for help with my right shoulder after I developed sharp pain which was impacting my ability to do routine movements. After a few months of treatment, the shoulder is pretty much good as new. Dr. Grossman takes the time to listen and work with you to build out a treatment plan tailored to your body and situation. He focuses on identifying the route cause and treats that as well as the symptoms. I have been seeing Dr. Grossman for a couple of months now. A close friend of mine suggested him as I was experiencing pain on the whole right side of my body (hip, neck, shoulder, arm, etc.)! I have never been to a chiropractor before so I did not know what to expect. I went to his website and was surprised to find that it was very informative and made an appointment online.Once I began working with him, I found his approach and process refreshing. I HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Grossman! He’s not your average chiropractor. He doesn’t just treat the symptoms, but works with you to prevent the injury/pain from continuing. Seeing Dr. Grossman is like going to a chiropractor and physical therapist all in one visit! His calming nature allows for the physical adjustments to feel safe and comfortable, instead of freaky, as I often used to feel when I heard the snaps of neck adjustments. He gives you exercises that you can take home to help strengthen the body and bring back spinal alignment, as well as offers laser therapy to help pain management.I started seeing Dr. Grossman two months ago for nerve pain that ran from the back of my neck down through my fingertips. It was excruciating and had been going on for months. I really appreciated that he took the time to understand the issue, helped to figure out what was causing it, and worked with me to not just relieve the pain at that appointment, but taught me how I can prevent it from coming back. The pain flare ups have gotten farther and farther apart and I very rarely experience it anymore. When I do feel pain start to come on, I practice the exercises that Dr. Grossman recommended and it helps settle the pain and prevent it from worsening.Healing is a two way street. A doctor can help you all you want, but if you’re not an active participant in the journey, you might not get that far. If you practice the specific exercises that Dr. Grossman recommends for you at home, I promise it will take you much farther on your healing journey! If you want a chiropractor that cares about your progress, this is the place to go!

Dr. Grossman is an amazing chiropractor and a total professional at what he does. He has been doing an awesome job at helping my back, hips, and knees heal in a natural and safe process. I started seeing Dr. Grossman to help me recover from a bone bruise in my knee. After weeks of physical therapy at another place, my regular doctor told me that I would just have to wait for my body to reabsorb the fluid in my knee. My knee was still swollen and inflamed after several months. I was actually starting to think that I might never regain full mobility in my knee. I started seeing Dr. Grossman in early July for some severe hip pain I had been having since late 2018. I have been to other chiropractors for my hip issue but I always felt like they were rushing me with 30 minute appointments and I felt little to no relief. I recently received chiropractic treatment from Dr. Grossman after years of pain and discomfort along the entire right side of my body, particularly in my hip and knee. All other treatments, from cortisone injections to physical therapy, have all failed to provide relief. Treatment from Dr. Grossman has been the only thing that has helped. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his craft, I was very skeptical of chiropractic treatment before coming in, but now I am convinced of its effectiveness as a treatment option. He did A LOT more than simply “crack” my joints, I was truly impressed by the wide variety of treatment strategies he employed, which included, but was not limited to a laser that seems to loosen all the joints and muscles the beam contacts and a kind of a reciprocating table one lays down on while it stretches your lower back. I have not felt this good in years, I went for a 15 mile bike ride today, which I have not done for at least 4 years! The pain in my hip and knee was reduced quickly, and by orders of magnitude. I was also impressed with his ability to work on myself specifically, because I am 6’8” tall and 285 pounds. Before going in, I had some concerns regarding his ability to work with me because Physical Therapists in the past seem to all have a problem treating me, typically stating that I am too tall for their table, or other equipment they want to use for treatment. This was not a problem for Dr. Grossman at all, to the contrary, he actually stated that a lot the treatments he was going to use work better with me because he was actually able to USE my size when performing the procedure. I have been receiving chiropractic care off and on for 20+ years but, after several months with Dr. Grossman, I can easily say he is the best of the best! I initially made an appointment because I was looking for someone to help me with my hip injury/recovery (since traditional PT wasnt doing it for me), but I continue to see him because I am getting such awesome results. With regular adjustments and practicing the stretches/movements hes provided for me, I am finally able to exercise regularly, my chronic hip pain is gone, hip mobility is improving, and my headaches have almost all but disappeared. I have been seeing Dr. Grossman for shoulder pain and the results are amazing! He definitely knows his field and an enormous amount about the body. I have been getting adjustments and laser therapy to help with some shoulder impingement problems. Due to a minor scholiosis condition, and the constant working/typing at a desk, I need regular adjustments to keep my spine mobile. I have had sciatica for over 10 years and, after the first adjustment, my symptoms clearly improved and I can drive comfortably the 70 miles to work. Dr. Grossman has a very holistic style including exercise routines to treat problem areas also in between the treatment sessions. This is what separates him from many other chiropractors. If you really invest in following the exercise routine it can lead to significant improvements compared to only passively receiving treatment at the clinic. I have had unsolved knee problems for more than 20 years. Now I have learned from dr. Grossman that those problems were caused by weak hip muscles. I have been able to run again after strengthening my hip muscles. Before this I have only been treated topically. Ive never been to a chiropractor before until I injured my lower back, ignored the discomfort for a few weeks and woke up in a lot of pain one day. I started asking people to send me recommendations, Dr. Grossmans name came up and luckily he had an opening that day. He listened to the situation that could have injured me, assessed what the cause of my pain may have been, and had me do a few movements so he could identify what kind of injury this was. He spent time explaining how everything is connected and how some injuries can take longer to recover from, depending on what exactly is going on. He adjusted me and then demonstrated excises he wanted me to do as a part of the treatment. He was aware of the pain I was in and reminded me to never push past the pain when doing these exercises. Every week there was improvement and new exercises added. At no extra charge he gave me the band he had me use during an exercise so I could take it home and do the same. He also put on some tape to help with the pain at no extra charge. He offered laser therapy at one of our sessions and explained how it could help with the pain, I was too scared but thought its amazing that he has it there as an option with no additional cost to you. He truly cares about his patients. I know my recovery is due to Dr. Grossmans expertise. He shares a lot of his knowledge with you every time you have a session with him, things you want to start applying to your life that you havent before. Recently my neck pain had increased severely and causing occasional dizziness and headache. My friend who works in San Jose recommend him to me (I live in San Francisco). I have seen Doctor Grossman for the past two month. I went in at first because I had a trigger point, basically a muscle knot in my thoracic back. These trigger points where creating some pain, especially in my right levator scapulae, preventing me from having a good night of sleep.. And without a good night of sleep its really hard for me to function at work! You know the kind of pain when you want people to rub your shoulders or you try get something to push into your shoulder blade area or mid back. Trigger points can also cause referred pain, which could create pain in other places. Doctor Grossman took the time to asked lots of questions, explained what was going on, did some adjustment, used the laser, explained that I might be soar for the next couple days, which I was!Give me specific exercises to do which i followed, and like magic the pain went away, Im back sleeping well again and all this because of Doctor Grossman, I cant thank him enough and to top it all, he treated my son, an USMC and adjusted him before is deployment to Syria. I have to say that consistently working with Dr. Grossman has completely transformed the way that I feel in my body as an athlete, pre-pregnancy, during pregnancy, and in my postpartum.During my first pregnancy, I did not receive any chiropractic care. I suffered from pretty severe sciatic nerve pain during my second trimester which forced me to modify heavily. I had disabling headaches throughout; when I reported them, they were often met with oh thats common in pregnancy - no answers, no tools, no solutions, and nothing really offered in terms of options of relief.Since my first delivery, my entire family and I (baby included) go regularly to receive chiropractic care with Dr. Grossman. Working at my desk and sitting in a car for any length of time was unbearable, and just getting out of bed was a production. Around mid March I was having annoying shoulder pain to where it would bother me while walking around, sleeping on my back and even lifting my arm. The shoulder pain would really act up when squatting and benching. I actually shot Dr. Grossman a message asking if there is anything I can do and instantly told to try out shoulder cars, and if it’s still bothering you come in. So I watched his video on Instagram and attempted the cars for a about a week but just couldn’t handle the pain. I eventually went in to see him and he showed me a more efficient way to gain the most out of cars. Also showed me a couple more mobility/exercises for my shoulder to do before/during/after squats and bench. Within a week it was no pain walking around no pain sleeping no pain extending and raising my arm. He’s A great chiropractor, awesome guy, he listens and aims to make sure corrections are the only option. I’m going to be keeping up with those exercises to make sure that pain doesn’t come back. I get migraines that were causing my entire neck to tense up and never fully release - it was so bad that my favorite Christmas gift was a PT tool for neck stretching, but even that only brought temporary relief. After just a few visits with very gentle work (again, nervous) I was able to look down at my feet without feeling a pull all the way down my back and generally live life without constant tightness. Ive been experiencing sporadic lower back pain through the years due to my years of training in Muay Thai. I would always push through the pain instead of trying to treat the issue. This was the first time that Ive been to a Chiropractor and there was a bit of skepticism on my part from hearing only about the cracking treatment.Contrary to my beliefs, Dr. Grossmans techniques were more in depth than what I believed a Chiropractor to be. Yes, he did do the realignment and stretching for immediate relief, but he also tried to figure out what the cause of the issue was in order to get rid of the problem for good. Through his treatments he found extreme tightness in areas of my back as well as legs that would cause bad posture. These issues could lead to compensation in the lower back and would cause the pain and tightness that I was feeling. He utilized heat laser massage therapy and a decompression table for the lower back as well as prescribing techniques to engage and loosen muscle groups in those areas that one would normally neglect. It has been around a month and I have not had any issues.
